I would not trust this CPA firm with your business taxes. I am very disappointed in the service I have received. I also have receipts that are attached to this review.My complaints are thus:I met personally with Victor Delerme and he seemed very knowledgeable and ensured me that he works with people in my field all of the time. He did say he could get my personal and business taxes done and he offered me a discount for doing both with a hope that we would move forward to work together in future years. I loved that, and for that reason they received one of the two stars.However, after receiving payment, their communication became extremely sporadic. They reviewed communication from me regarding the extension that I filed and then I asked them to file the extension for my business as the deadlines were running out.They received everything necessary to submit the taxes on time for the late filing deadline (Which I had gotten approved by the IRS for my personal and which they had promised to take care of for my business)They chose not to file it on time.In fact, they didnt file my taxes until February of 2021!I have been calling and emailing so many times and they ignore my calls. Im pretty sure they have now been purposefully ignoring my calls because they knew they made a mistake. Finally when the IRS did receive my returns they sent my refund which is the second reason for the two stars. I did wind up getting a refund.However, the IRS sent me a penalty for filing late for my business taxes. I contacted Delerme immediately as soon as I got it. They again ignored my calls and emails. Finally Kevin De Vargas called me and personally promised me that he would handle it. He was going to call the IRS on my behalf and explain the situation. He admitted that their firm missed a notification from the IRS and so it was their fault. He was going to give me a Power of Attorney to sign so that he could call on my behalf. He was also going to email me to confirm that the conversation took place. Karina Reed was supposed to send the Power of Attorney to me. She did not. He did not call the IRS as promised and he let the time clock run out.These people are really great for fudging numbers and I think that would eventually get some of these great reviewers in trouble someday but if you are a business owner I would steer clear. They have no ethics when it comes to their own faults and their communication is the worst in business. This is not a fake review. Please see the screenshots for proof of their business practices and please do yourself a favor and stay away.I understand that it was Covid and we all had issues, but that being said, it should not take the place of proper communication with paid up clients.I never write reviews. I had to in this case because this is a hiring decision I made that cost me thousands of dollars and it was not due to a fault of my own. My only fault was trusting that they were ethical business people.

I have to update this review… I would never use Victor and team again. My taxes were never confirmed filed with the IRS, so had to be refilled manually. The team would not respond after several calls. I had to get another CPA to step in and correct my filing. Do not pay your bill until the IRS has your return. Delerme had very bad customer service and NO follow up.During the process before filing - Victor and team were very responsive and great to work with. Highly recommend. Especially if you have worked and lived in more than 1 country!

I believe they are competent accountants but they are unresponsive. Emails and phone calls will go unreturned for weeks or even months. Taxes are always filed with an extension and it will take months to receive a copy for your personal records. If you plan on using Delerme I would suggest not using the electronic signature option so you have a chance to review a copy of your tax return.

Victor Delerme did my 2013 and my 2014 taxes this year and saved me thousands of dollars. I had my 2013 taxes done by another CPA company and they had me owing over 3k because they werent as knowledgeable with the current real estate laws. I took a big risk and never filed my 2013 until this year because I didnt feel comfortable with the return. Once I had Victor look at them he found multiple errors and I got a refund instead of owing. I cant express how happy I was as a result of the outcome. I have finally found a permanent CPA.
