This barbershop 💈 is sequestered in the plaza opposite the Sandy Springs performing Arts center, but it’s location belies the quality of the barbers here.They not only do a good job on my hair every time I go, but they keep an excellent schedule, maintain cleanliness in their shop, and act respectfully towards customers.It’s also good for me as I live about 3 minutes away.Highly recommend visiting them.

New to the area Called to check prices because they are not listed on website. He Rudely cuts me off and he tells me when do you want to book an appointment and repeats himself when I respond without any answer to my question. He sounds like a narcissist I’d suggest you find someone who has better customer service.

Came in as a walk-in and Kenny was my barber, this was my first time coming to this particular shop in ATL. And I can honestly say I am very satisfied with my haircut, definitely recommend anyone to come see him.

Kenny’s personality and skills are phenomenal. I recently relocated to the area and was looking for a barber to cut my nephews hair, I googled barbershops near me and called a couple. Kenny was by far the most personable and accommodating. This was the weekend of Father’s Day and we didn’t have an appointment...did I mention I had an event that evening at 6:00? None the less Kenny made arrangements to cut my nephew’s hair. He was thorough and meticulous and made sure to ask questions to ensure my nephew was happy with his haircut. My previous barber had my fade crooked in the back and Kenny couldnt let me walk away without fixing it (no charge). If you need a new barber I highly recommend Kenny from Uppa Cuts.... One more thing, this was Saturday morning and I only wanted 10 minutes.

I googled Black barbershops near our hotel and saw that this shop had a high rating (and for good reason). I was skeptical (because my boys have a range of hair textures and most shops only seems to cut a particular grade of hair well) buuut Kenny quickly set me at ease. I brought my three boys in for much needed haircuts. Kenny and Doug spent their time and turned out meticulous quality haircuts. Actually the best haircuts my boys have had. Whenever were back in Georgia this will be our go to. Too bad we cant bring them back to Cali with us.

I found Kennys info on a google search for barbers in Atlanta and he had very high reviews. Kenny cut my 8 year old sons hair this afternoon and the hair cut looks good. However the service was very poor. Kenny was very rough in positioning my sons head throughout the cut. He made fun of my son because he was crying during the cut. He called my son a mamas boy (whatever that means). He was very impatient. Although the cut was good, the service and the negative words created a very negative experience that I would not wish for anyone to experience. I cannot recommend him for a kids haircut.

OUT-OF-TOWNER- Went there on a Friday morning. Easy to find and off a major street. This place has that hometown feel and old-school shop look that I love. Doug worked like a true artist of the craft. He was precise with the cut, and I couldnt be happier with the choice of getting cut here. If youre from out of town, or from the area, this is a great spot to get tapered. This is one of the best haircuts I have ever had.

Went to see Kenny but he suggested I sit in Dougs chair because he had an open chair. Convo was good and cut seemed good until I got home and put more light on the cut and saw that my skin was irritated from the lineup. This morning as Im getting ready for work I see I have cuts on my head from the lineup! Kenny may be a good barber but Doug isnt! Now I gotta go work with marks all over my head smh. Never going here again, and for those that are thinking about this place, I suggest you look elsewhere.

I just left this spot with an amazing cut and a great vibe. I only waited about 8 minutes for a chair. While I waited, the shop speakers played a most excellent blend of grown man hip hop. The staff was friendly and the shop was vwry clean. My barber, Kenny was polite and professional. He spent a few minutes understsnding exactly what I was trying to do with my cut. After summizing what i needed, he went to work and masterfully trimmed me up! I was very pleased. I work a good distance from my home and finding a good barbershop thats convenient, clean and talented with the cluppers is hard! Im glad I found this spot! It was well worth my time.
