Our car radiator needed an emergency replacement after a long trip and to travel back the 700 miles. We called Mr Heath early in the morning, dropped the car off half an hour later, and picked it up the next day. The repairs were done well and the charge was reasonable and as agreed. No surprises or upselling. Mr Heath saved our trip and we made it back without any issues. Were grateful for his work, availability, and professionalism.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Mr. Heath not only correctly diagnosed and fixed my car on my first visit (as I would told a completely different thing from another “trusted” auto service company), he also takes the time to try to educate and explain why certain issues arise and how to prevent other issues from happening. Will definitely recommend him to my friends and family. Thank you!!

I can always trust him to figure out whats up with my vehicles when others want to give me the ring-around. A very experienced, skilled mechanic who gets the job done well for very reasonable rates. If you want a big, sparkly, commercial shop, go to one - go to Mr. Heath for a thorough, honest, job well done.

Give it 4/5. I took my car up there because my check engine light came on. I took it car dealer ship they told me problem is the o2 sensor it will cost alot...took it to napa diagnostics test was 45 he told me the main priority is getting my thermostat and evac which is like a gas cap...fix thermostat and gas cap for 200...check engine light came off.. only downfall is I didnt see on my receipt/bill where the 45 dollars was reflected on bill thats all... he did a good job though

I took my car here for an AC issue. When I first tried to make an appointment he recommended a few things for me to check that may save me from having to come in. I was incredibly impressed that he offered the suggestions. Unfortunately I checked the items and they were not the issue. He was able to get me in to check the issue and determined it was a vehicle model specific issue that I should take to the dealer. He provided me with an extensive amount of information about the issue, and what I needed to tell the dealer to avoid getting the runaround. He was friendly, professional and informative. I will bring my car back for other issues if they arise.

Did a great job squeezing me in for a much needed quick o2 sensor replacement. Showed me a few other little things that need attention too. Nice cool friendly guy as well. Great to have a go-to local guy having just bought an older car with some heavy miles on the clock. Thanks Mr Heath!

Mr. Heath is a master technician and knows what hes doing. My vehicle was having issues upon starting so I called Mr. Heath to schedule an appointment. He advised me of some things to check prior to coming in that would save me time and money. After trying those things I did need the servicing. When I arrived the next morning Mr. Heath examined the vehicle and found the issue right away. His pricing is fair and he didnt take long to repair the vehicle. I definitely will be back again! Wow! Another excellent experience at Heaths. I had my check engine light on, and he got me hooked up with a new oxygen sensor in about an hour (most of that time was waiting for the part to arrive). Hes great to chat with while you wait if he isnt busy on someone elses car. He also showed me a few other things about my truck, so I got an education, a repair, and a great conversation all at once. I will always bring my vehicles to Mr. Heath.Update to this review: During the wait time, he fixed an issue I have had for a decade and paid other mechanics hundreds of dollars to fix unsuccessfully. My truck has had a slow drain on the battery whenever it sits for more than a handful of days. Ive killed countless batteries and had installed a kill switch on the connector since no one could figure out why or how to fix it. Mr. Heath looked around my truck for a few minutes, checked the circuit box, found I had breakers for a radio amplifier, fog lights, and a sunroof I didnt have. He pulled the radio amplifier breaker and said if that didnt fix it, try pulling the others. We got a good laugh. And now that the truck just sits in the driveway for days on end since we arent going anywhere, Ive had lots of opportunity to test it. And its repaired!!! I had truly given up after shelling out money in two states to no avail. Mr. Heath is a genius. Best mechanic Ive ever met.

Mr. Heath is great! Id give him more stars if I could.Hes friendly and knowledgeable. His shop is clean and quiet, and he has a cozy little sitting space. Its not a big jiffy car place, no loud TVs and over powering car repair smells. And if you have to leave your car for a while, you can cross the street to check out the Met or walk about 10-15 minutes to the West End Station and catch MARTA.He had my car issue diagnosed as soon as I drove in and had it repaired in about an hour. This is our second time bringing our car to him. The first time he diagnosed our issue as a simple thermostat replacement vs the water pump we were afraid it was going to be. I definitely trust him to do right by me and charge a fair price.

I have never had a bad experience with In town Heaths NAPA Auto Care Center but today they went above and beyond the regular awesome service on my Impreza. If you have a Subaru, dont hesitate to take your car there.

Good people still exist, theyre just on the endangered species list.After receiving a quote for $1,100 from an automotive repair shop less than a mile down the road from Heaths, I paid them the $70 diagnostic fee that would have been applied to repairs, and took my car to Mr. Heath.Within an hour Mr. Heath called me back, told me the quote was pure fiction (my words not his) and that I only needed a clamp & some coolant. The alternator, belts, and a slew of other stuff was fine. Mind you hes seen the previous quote and could have easily charged me $800 -- and I would have been happy to save the $400 bucks. But no; he said: It shouldnt be more than $60...Ill have it ready by noon (2 hours)This alone speaks volumes for Mr. Heaths honesty and integrity...And thats what you want from a mechanic right? Not even to mention that he is an excellent mechanic with decades of experience! So go ahead, do what I did, get an estimate somewhere else, pay the $70, and then take your car to Mr. Heath (if you have $70 to satisfy your morbid curiosity) Or just take it to Mr. Heath & save yourself a whole lot more than $70.

Mr. Heath is awesome. He was the only shop (after calling around for 3 weeks) that would put in a customer part. He wanted to make sure that I actually needed it before working on it so I headed over. He diagnosed my problem and quoted me something reasonable for replacing my A/C compressor.Everyone else I went to see either wouldnt put it in because it was a customer part or wanted to charge me for anotuer diagnostic. Im just a broke millennial so Mr Heath was truly an ally for me today.I will be taking my car back here if I ever have a problem again. Hes honest, reliable and kind. Best way to serve the community.Dont go to any major repair shops first, hit up this local spot and save your time and money.

Please do not take yourcar to the hood! I had my car towed here. However when I actually got to the location its in a very undesirable rough neighborhood that I would not recommend anyone to walk to and only drive with your car locked. I was expecting a store front. Instead its a garage with disrepaired boats stored inside. A customer was passed out inside waiting in a no hvac dirty garage in 95 degree. No waiting area or Hvac here.My main complaint was the level of disrespect and repairs and  from the owner Mr heath1. Does not accept any major debit or credit cards over the phone? Because I was told he cannot trust customers because of fraud. Very inconvenient which meant I had to uber just to make a payment.2. Parts have to be paid for in advance. Very inconvenient when im used to paying for both parts and labor once service is rendered. Like at Bmw service dept and Braxtons!3. Very condescending and has an obvious problem dealing with females. Mr Heath would make derogatory comments like? Let me speak to your husband? He understands! As if a women with both a Masters in Business and degree in Business cannot discuss a car?4. Dont expect to receive a full quote or even a written invoice. Instead he will tell the amount over the phone for parts only? Then you have to do your own due diligence and ask both labor and tax? Then he will catch a serious attitude! And tell you to add it up yourself.5. Long wait times 1 week for an alternator. Unbelievable! 4 days to order and install a battery. Any part 3 days. If your used to having parts ordered and installed same day this is not the place for you.6. Car was not repaired 1st time around had me drive car off the lot without telling me it was not fully driveable. Had to return for additional repairs next day. As driving a car that is cutting out and stopping is not safe or fixed.7. Aggressive  inappropriate behavior towards children. Made me and child feel uncomfortable with questions? Why are you not in school?you should be in school! Duh its called summer vacation!8. Does not keep store hours or advertise his work hour. Fyi closes 2pm?9. Lack of security I found my car left open all 4 doors were unsecured on his lot after closing. Mr Heath does not care my car could have been stolen! Not to mention my personal items were inside the vehicle.Lesson learned do not do any business in the hood!
