Like everyone else, taking my car to be repaired is right up there with going to the dentist in terms of enjoyment (no offense to dentists). Catherines makes it painless. Easy online schedule, after hours drop-off, timely text message updates, honest assessments, quality work, and good value. The really understand the value of long term customer relationships - they are always trying to do right by the customer. It is really nice to work with a service provider that you can trust!

I recently moved to Atlanta and was referred by a friend to Catherines Auto Repair. I was looking for an honest, quality mechanic shop that charged fair prices. Within a day and a half, Catherines Auto Repair was able to diagnose and fix my front brakes, rear brakes, and wheel bearing at a great price. They were friendly, transparent, and took the time to explain everything clearly to me before they began any work on my car. They even sent photos of the parts on my car that needed repair. I am very impressed with them and will be taking my car here for future appointments!

I was told that my car needed a new motor because there was no compression. I had my car towed to different garage, which identified the issue as a flooded engine. They quickly identified the issue and fixed it promptly. Needless to say I would not recommend them .

I really wanted to give this place another chance but they just keep screwing up. The latest episode involves me showing up for my scheduled oil change, only to arrive to find no one at the shop. When I called the number taped to the window, Jornette said they all got Covid or something & went home. The obvious question being, why didnt someone call me before I left work early & drove over? No logical answer. The mechanics may be great, but the current scheduler/receptionist isnt helping their business at all.

Wow, it seems like a weird thing to get excited about, but my family is so used to getting jerked around by auto maintenance/repair shops - so our experience with Catherines has been phenomenal.Very efficient, made sure to run everything past us and most of all they do really quality work for a really decent price. Not to mention, they dont try to upsell you on anything, theyre super honest about what needs repairing and what will need repairing soon etc etc. I feel as if most places would just try to repair everything at once, upsell you on parts or repairs you dont need and will just in general try to scrape that extra buck off.At Catherines? None of that!I highly recommend!

I could not have better things to say about Catherine’s Auto Repair. The service is fast, painless and very transparent. Everything was explained clearly to me (someone with no car knowledge) and they recommended the best options for me and saved me over $2000 compared to a recommendation from a nearby shop. Honestly, this is the first experience at an auto shop where I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of for my lack of auto knowledge. I will no longer take my car anywhere else and have already recommended to all my friends in the area.

Could not have nicer things to say about this place, especially Jordanette at the front desk. Completely transparent the entire process and didn’t even charge me as they couldn’t find anything wrong with my car. I will definitely be going back for all my car repairs!

Second time going here, I was referred by a family who has been going here for years. I went to pep boys first to get a break inspection and of course, they tried to get me to replace everything for over $1500. I declined and brought my new accord to Catherine’s, turns out I don’t need half of that and I’m paying below $500. They are awesome, nice, and understand the money situation if you’re right on money. I’ve been looking for a new mechanic since moving from Buford, and this is the place!!!!

Good service and fair prices. I especially like their Corvette expert. Driveway is unpaved and cramped. People are great and demonstrate integrity.

Can not recommend them highly enough. I have been a happy and loyal customer at Catherines for probably 4+ years now. They are trustworthy, kind and efficient. Every time I bring my car in for any little fix, they do a great check-up on the car to let me know whats needed long term beyond my ask, but they also understand my wallet and help me prioritize my car maintenance items.

Im very disappointed in the mechanics that you are finding in the Myrtle Beach North Myrtle Beach area I use the word mechanics very Loosely I have been trying to get someone to work on a 2001 BMW no one seems to know how to do this what happened to mechanics do they only go to a certain level nowadays you can work on the car are you cant work on the car very disappointing to see this profession going downhill in such a manner

Taking my car to Catherines Auto is the best decision I have ever made. Each time I take my car for a repair, I never have to worry about them finding hundreds of dollars in additional repairs, which has been my experience in the past. They do a thorough diagnostic exam and let me know what other issues I have, but, they in no way make me feel if I dont get the hundreds of dollars in repair, that my car will break down and leave me stranded on the side of the road. The Manager or Technician always make sure I have a complete understanding of the services I am receiving and dont make me feel silly for asking questions. Everyone greets you with a smile and even if you dont get the services that are recommended, they don’t respond is anger or dismay. Good customer service means having thorough knowledge of your inventory, experience with your products, and being able to help customers make the best choices for them. ... Good customer service is treating customers with a friendly, helpful attitude. This definition describes Catherines Auto Repair Staff perfectly. I highly recommend Catherines Auto to everyone I know, when they ask about car repairs. Every car I own will always be repaired by Catherines Auto. Its a great feeling to be able to take my car to an Auto Repair Shop and not feel that I am being taken advantage of just because I am a female.

I really want to give this place 5 stars but I feel as they over charged me. Also they charged $25 for a quarter tank of gas when it already had that much before I dropped it off. Also a quarter tank of gas cost me $10.I am very happy with the repair and the car is running very well.

So nice and so honest! I have gone twice now in “emergency” situations with nails in my tires. Each time they squeeze me and have patched it. By told me the last time it was a little dangerous to patch but did it well enough I could get all the way to Tampa, FL. Highly recommend!

Heres what happened. I was quoted a price, and it was a good amount of money. As they were doing the work, they found the problem would not require the part that was very expensive. They called me and told me that they found the problem and cancelled the order for the expensive part. I will recommend Catherines Auto Repair to friends and family from here on out. These are honest people who arent trying to make money off of you. Honesty goes a long way in my book, and I appreciate it greatly. Not looking forward to any more car troubles, but I am looking forward to working with Catherines again soon.

Cathrines Auto Repair did an excellent job with my Honda Pilot. The staff was very professional, courteous, and timely. I came to them with a list of repairs from another Auto Shop. I wanted a second opinion. They confirmed some of the repairs I was previously quoted werent needed and gave me honest advise on the repairs that were needed. Their prices are very reasonable as well. I would refer them to my family, friends and co-workers.

Had to get my tail lights fixed. Customer service was great and the price was incredibly reasonable (about $20)!! Would 100% recommend for basic auto repairs

They are honest, they are more than fair, and they go above and beyond to satisfy the customer.

Took my 99 Xterra to the shop on the west side of town about 2 years ago. Left specific instructions to exchange all fluids and belts only. After about a week or so in the shop, I picked up the car. Since that time I have had a rattle in the engine, and an increase in oil consumption not present previous to their repair. In their defense, I never allowed them to fix the issue, but that was because I didnt have another week to wait. Fluid and belt changes should be able to be completed in less than 3 days. Vehicles should be returned in a better condition than when they arrive.

Once again Catherines Auto Repair came through for me by delivering an expert auto fix on my car. I recently went in with a rear suspension issue. Rear passenger side tire wearing out bad bad and fast fast. They rapidly determined the problem, fixed it and got me back on the road very quickly.They are also easy to work with. Ms. Geornette Jackson was very thorough and knowledgeable in the way she informed me what the shop had found on my vehicle and what options were available to me. Just to close out, I intend on being an L.T.C. here (Long Term Customer). Outstanding Job Catherines Auto Repair!

Everyone was so honest and open about what exactly my car needed. I so happy to have found an auto shop that I can trust as a young woman who knows nothing about cars (just being honest!)

They not only understand everything about your car, but they help you understand it too. When I had some engine knock they went out of their way to explain risks and costs when weighing my options. Theyve been busy the last couple times Ive been there (I think because word is getting out about them), but easily worth it.

Catherines has serviced my familys cars since she opened her first location on Piedmont Circle in the 2000. I hated getting my car serviced, post-divorce, because most mechanics were condescending and (I believe) told me I needed repairs that werent necessary. I tried several dealerships and had the same experience. A co-worker suggested I give Catherines a try and Ive been a loyal customer ever since! Joinet (not sure of the spelling) is the best! Shes friendly, professional and always pleasant. The mechanics repair whats needed and Joinet tells you what can wait until later. If they dont get something right the first time, which is RARE, they make it right, at their expense.I took one of the basic auto classes that Catherine used to offer, this was a tremendous help when I had a car that was barely holding on. Joinet suggested that I not put any more money into the aforementioned car. How many mechanics would give that kind of advice? A lot of them would continue to take your money. All of this is a long way of saying Good work Catherines and I look forward to many more years of having you guys service my car!

I went in for an oil change and asked them to check for a noise, and they said it would be 2 hours because they needed a different mechanic to check anything but oil. After I got the car home, I realized they had broken my washer fluid hose. Looking for a new mechanic.

I been going to Catherines for the last five years. They are fair and honest.

I have an older 2000 xTerra, just over 100K miles. It was time for new timing belt and some basic service. Ive had several issues with maint work at dealership so thought Id get some quotes from other mechanics. After sending out the details to 4 mechanics, Catherine was the first to respond about 36 hours later. She asked some clairfying questions and gave me a estimate about a day later. The other guys...took a few more days before I even got their first response and still yet more days before I got their quotes. Catherine was in the ballpark of the other quotes and her overall responsiveness and friendliness of communications and other online reviews lead me to select her garage for the work.Her team kept me up to date on the progress and finished on time. I didnt pick the car up till Friday late. On Saturday noticed it was running rough and on Sunday the check engine light came back on. So I dropped the vehicle off and sent Catherine an email explaining what was going on.Sunday night I got an email from her apologizing for the problem, that they would look at it first thing Monday and get back to me. On Monday they let me know there had been a problem with the timing belt repair. They apologized, performed some additional work for free that they had suggested should be done at some point in the future, free oil change and offered to drop my car off for me at my home.Was I happy about having to take the car back? No.Do I think they handled the situation to my satisfaction? Yes.Will I use Catherines again for future work? Definetly.Would I recommend them for others who are less than satisfied with who does their vehicle work today? Yes.
