One of the most unprofessional companys Ive had the displeasure of dealing with. I was the one who had to do the leg work to actually get them to accept the job they quoted me on. I had to call the company back multiple times to get the appointment set up after they took half the cost for the job upfront. It was a constant game of the run around. The company has extremely poor communication and they dont work together to offer even a remotely reasonable experience for having work done through them. The day the contractors were supposed to come out 54 minutes before the job was due to start I got a phone call saying they would be a couple hours late. That alone is bad management and poor quality service. But even after the couple hours went buy no one showed up. They didnt show up until over 4 hours after they were due to be there. This caused the workers to stay past 5pm to complete the job they full well knew about and the time needed to complete. My wifes entire day was held up because of there inability to show up on time and complete the job in a timely manner. I called into David whites services and just got a slew of excuse from a lady who is apparently in charge. She said she appreciated my feedback but basically due to contracting reasons nothing will change. They quoted me to replace my ac unit at over 4800 dollars which I was going to do in the spring but I will certainly find another company to do that. I even explained to her that due to there poor management there loosing that job and me as a customer. She seemed to dismiss it and not care. And I began to explain that I dont know how a business can treat people they way they do and she straight up hung up on me. I never cussed or raised my voice and I kept it completely professional. Please seek other hvac companys out first before going with this company. I wouldnt recommend them for anything with there disrespect for the Customer and tardiness with endless bottomless excuses. Had a leak in the roof 3 times but manager chris took care to get it repaired in record time. he did a excellent job to make sure i was satisfied with the a/c -furnace install and answered all questions i had. would use this company again.

First of all the installment was done very well, and in a timely manner last year. The first maintenance was recently done by Jonathan. He was wearing mask and gloves, and shoe covers which we appreciated very much. He found a leak and fixed it. We were very happy with his work and his kind and professional attitude.

Their service is over and above. The a-coil was leaking. DWS made sure the house was kept cool until the replacement was installed. Im not supposed to be in extreme heat so their care was extremely appreciated. Thanks to Joel and the crew at David White Services.

Quick to respond when furnace is down.

Our system was installed new, in a new house about 10 years ago. We had repeated service calls in the first couple of years. The heat pump still freezes up. The technicians that came here couldnt adjust the heat pump to work properly with the furnace. So weve dealt with it... fast forward to this summer. Our a/c stopped working. I called to schedule a service. The lady that answered the phone told me that our system was old and all of the coolant would need to be changed. I dont remember the exact total, but it was going to be over $1000 to complete the service. Trusting them, as they have maintained the system for over a decade, I made the appointment for later in the week. I called another company due to the high estimate. They arrived the next day, and fixed it for $150. So, they never on-call no-showed, as other reviewers are saying, but the value is definitely not there. My takeaway was that my antiquated system (again 10 years old) was trash. So why spend a fortune to have it patched up?

The service that we received was top notch. The technician was professional and fast. Everything looks so good and runs just perfect. I will only use them in the future and recommend them to everyone.

Required service. Tech showed up a few minutes before ten am. Finished about 11:40. Turned in 2 1/2 hours of labor. They round it up to three hours. At a $165 an hour we were charged $459. You do the math! He sat in my driveway about ten minutes after he was done. When he got to my house. he Told me he was on the way to my house but received a phone call that a part was in for another job and he had to turn around to go get the part. I’m sure I was charged and the next customer was charged for the trip! All the parts were covered under warranty so this was just labor, and we are on their service plan an get 10% off on labor. Crazy!!!!

We purchased our heat pump from Whites a few years ago. After shopping around it was the best bang for your buck. There service since has been quick and very affordable. The employees (Tom and Tom ) who came to our service calls are very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this company to work with.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been a loyal customer of theirs for approximately 15 years in the Athens area. I have had multiple systems installed and serviced by them. After poor customer service on a service call by the tech a few weeks ago, I called about the problem and scheduled a return service call. This time the tech was a no call - no show. Day wasted. They rescheduled the service call a second time. Again a no call - no show. I called asking to speak to their senior manager. I was told the Service Manager had left for the day. This was 3:30 PM in the afternoon. I was told he would return at 8:00 AM the next morning. I expressed my extreme displeasure in their service and left explicit instructions for the manager to call me by 8:30 AM. 8:30 AM came and went with no call. If this is how they treat a loyal customer I will take my business to a competitor from now on.

Having been a customer of David White Services for over 9 years, we were very surprised to find their business ethics are unacceptable. We called to request a service call because our heating wasn’t working. We were told they were running behind because of computer issues but would be at our house between 4 and 5. My husband left work early in order to meet them. When they hadn’t shown up by 4:45, we called again and were told they were running “a couple of hours behind.”, but they would be there. They never, ever arrived nor did they bother to call us. We called someone else and will no longer be a customer of David White Services nor will we recommend them.

Recently I have work done on my heating and cooling system. The duct work in my basement where I have Fiber Fun Studio, a yarn shop, was not doing the job to heat and cool the area. Larger ducts were installed. The work was done quickly and neatly. I am very happy with the job and so the results are good.

I was having heating problems in the dead of winter and I was able to get an appointment with David White Services within 48 hours to fix the problem. They were prompt in diagnosing and fixing and helpful in coordinating the appointment.

The man who came to relight our fireplace was polite, knowledgeable and very helpful. He added to the looks of our fireplace which was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I am very disappointed with David White Services.My amana heat pump has quit working for me 3 times now.The compressor has quit.The first 2 times they have been very good to get it fixed for me but it quit again an it seems they dont care if it is fixed for me or not.I am an elderly woman an the heat about gets me down anymore.Was told today (Wednesday)the new compressor wouldnt arrive until a week from Thursday. I would not recommend this company at all.Very disappointingAlso was lied to twice about it even being ordered.

I called White services because I have had their services before. The technician was very competent and experienced. He didnt have to guess the problem, but went right to the solution.

Hats off to Stephanie and Dave for their great job in getting our furnace repaired. We have the Planned Maintenance Agreement on our furnace which David White installed about 8 years ago. I called Stephanie, she sent Dave out the next day and he installed a new motor the following Monday. All parts and services were covered under the service agreement. Thank you very much for your Planned Maintenance Program and your efficient staff!

I got quotes from several businesses in the area. Although David White was slightly higher, I felt that they understood my concern more. I believe that the installer is the most important part of an HVAC job, so thats why I chose them.

DavidWhite installed a new AC and gas furnace in a house that i bought in 2014. The price was competative and the work was done quickly and cleanly. I use them for annual maintenance and am always pleased with their response. i have had one service call and they responded quickly and worked until the problem was corrected. i am very pleased with the level of service

Whites came out to look why our gas fireplace wasnt working. Tom the serviceman was very good and found the problem. In fact I decided to add the maintenance fee after seeing how well the work was done.

She has provided information on how technology has evolved significantly in the past 15-20 years and how replacing older equipment could provide us with a substantial cost savings in our electric bills. Ester is friendly and knowledgable and can help with the HVAC decisions we all need to make.

Excellent service price competitive employees were good, the company stands by there work .

My rating is based only on the annoyance factor of misleading information about the companys services. This company is listed as electricians, but when i contacted them about running a 220V line they declined the job saying they only do HVAC. So then please change your listing to HVAC and drop the electrician part.

I am very disappointed with their customer service. We ordered replacement glass for our stove that was originally bought from them. It has been three weeks and many messages left and I cant get a single person to call me back and let me know the status of the order. Our wood stove is our primary heat source, its already December and we need the cracked glass replaced.
