I have literally spent hours on the phone with different lenders to report that my approval wasnt given to this guy. I understand that times are hard, but screwing up someones credit to get a sale is beyond wrong, he lied from beginning and no one wants to return my call in regards of the matter. A shame that trying to support local businesses is so difficult. This is a very shady dealership that will lie to your face about the quality of vehicle theyre selling, ask you to lie and commit insurance fraud and will not back their own statements to fix known problems with used vehicles on the lot. Buy at your own risk. Or be smart and go elsewhere.

I was very impressed with the parts and service departments. They got me two fobs for my truck and the next day I had a service appointment to have them programmed. After a few minutes of waiting, the service tech came out and told me they were not the right ones. The ones I needed were no longer made. The promptly refunded me for the two fobs and said I didnt owe anything for the service side. I offered to pay since they had made the attempt, but they said no. Super impressed with the service they provided.

Don’t recommend these fellas at all. Bought a 2013 GMC Sierra from them with clean car fax only to find out it’s been wrecked. Bent rear axle shaft. And truck has been crudely painted. Won’t ever do business with them again!

As always, the people at Lewis Chevrolet are very forthcoming with information concerning what your car problem requires as far as parts and labor. They showed us a parts printout so we could actually see what was being replaced as well as explaining why they need replaced. They are always friendly and willing to work with you to help get your vehicle back as soon as possible. I highly recommend them.

Went in to look at a used truck and value a trade. Low ball offer on a trade typical, asked them not to run a credit report i know my credit is good and didn’t want a inquiry showing up since I was just looking and not that interested, but they did that anyway. Very pushy would not take no for an answer just trying to make you uncomfortable and agree to buy. I have owned and purchased a lot of vehicles, but will not buy one from this place. Thank you.

This is not your typical car dealership, I purchased a 2015 Chrysler 200 I had a little bit of issues with it which was not in Lewis Chevrolet control, since the car still had a Chrysler factory warranty the repairhad to be done by Chrysler dealership. During this time my husband had medical problems where wehad to go back and forth to the hospital. Lewis Chevrolet lent us a loaner vehicle to use. Our sales consultant Donnie Gillispie, the service department and staff of Lewis Chevrolet provided great customer service before and after the sale. This is a dealership I would recommend for new or used vehicle purchase.

With all this sudden down pour of rain, I found myself with a windshield wiper not working properly and stopped in to see if they could help me out! They were very prompt and polite and took care of my needs. Thank you for great Customer service!

Billy brown was very helpful. He worked hard to find us a vehicle that works for us. But,no one else on staff, except the finance man, even said hi while we waited. The waite was long for financing and several employees walked around inattentive to us. The finance guy was personable and attentive when we finally got to see him.

My name is David. If I could give this dealership zero stars I would. I don’t have the greatest credit in the world so I contacted this dealer. I got in touch with Ricky. I live an hour and a half away so I was communicating mostly via text and email. After being denied on a vehicle he said he would work to find me something he could get me in to. I told him that I want to know what kind of vehicle it is first because I want to like it if I’m taking out a loan to buy it. Every time I would try to contact him I got no reply. Every couple weeks he would contact me and finally told me that he was working on something for me and I never heard back. I would run as far as possible from this dealership.

Lewis Chevrolet is the only place I will ever purchase a vehicle! The sales staff is friendly, bend over backwards for you and guinuinly make you feel like family! All pressure free! Its well worth the drive to compare both customer service and price before you buy anywhere else!

If they call you up telling you are preapproved dont bother showing up they called my mother up telling her she was pre approved even with her already having a car payment and bankrupsies that she disclosed to them on the call they still told her she was approved for a car she drove all the way up there and they told her well you were approved and then you werent that makes zero sense either she was or is not you cant be both approved with the bank for the loan and not approved for it it was almost a hour drive to get there then a hour drive back will never recomend going here for anyone

I received an oil change for my 2015 Chevy Traverse last week. Everyone in the service department was very friendly & helpful. My vehicle was done in an appropriate amount of time. I feel that I paid a fair price for the service I received.

Bought a car 7 months ago was told it had been in a wreck but it was a light in the passenger side in the back that was hit went and tried to trade my car in for a different one at a better car lot they told me it was worth 8,000 and that it had structural damage meaning the frame is bent they charged me 17000 when we call them they didnt care they screwed us over but guess what lesson learned dont deal with a car lot that its honest never will do business with them again and DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO AS THIS COULD BE YOU pat yourself on the back you did a great job at fn someone over

Showroom was very clean. General managers office was very presentable for business transactions with the general public. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the vehicles that were on the grounds. Would reccomend this car dealership to friends and family, because of their concern for the customer.

Writing this at least a year later but figured its a big deal. purchased a black 2015 Honda CRV, about 30k miles, what at first seemed like a fair deal after test-driving. after asking questions about the history seemed like it was clean. after a few weeks notice there was hail damage all over the top of the hood and roof but this definitely cannot be seen until the glare was right. I know they check for the stuff at the dealership and the salesman never mentioned all this hail damage. there was also a ceiling stain from a leaky antenna. would not trust or buy from this dealership again.

Called to inquire about a used car on Facebook marketplace. Said it was sold. Same car still on marketplace 2 weeks later... Either bait and switch, or really slow individuals.

Easiest car buying experience EVER! I have bought cars over the years at other dealerships and I have NOT encountered a dealership like Lewis Chevrolet. Jeremy, Bobby and Ricky were absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. I would never buy a car anywhere else. Lewis is not looking for just a sale they have been in touch everyday since I purchased the car to make sure I am enjoying my new purchase. My key fob quit working and Ricky told me to call parts on Monday to get a new one ordered. Before buying a vehicle anywhere else, I would check with Lewis first. No one makes it easier and leads you to believe they can do something for you when they cant. Thank you so very much!

My son and I got to the lot at 7:45 a,m, on the 30th of July for their government vehicle sale. The flyer they mailed out stated they opened at 8 a.m. Since we were early, we walked around the lot to see what they had. No cars except for the new vehicles had prices on them. The flyer stated they opened at 8:00 a.m., the sales person stated that the ad was wrong and that they opened actually at 9:00 a.m ! When we left, we noticed the door stated they opened at 8:30 a.m...When the sales person came in, I asked for a list of what vehicles were the ones on the sales flyer that were the government vehicles advertised. The guy stated there wasnt a list they could provide. He then insisted we give him our personal information first. I asked for a list so my son and I could buy him his first truck or SUV. We didnt want to be pushed into a car he couldnt afford. I didnt think we were asking a lot for a list of vehicles that were supposed to be the clearance ones. First impressions on this lot was not very impressive. If you cant be consistent on basic information, what else is going to be inconsistent?.

Didnt state that in order for the person to get a reference check they have to be by the same salesman. Later called and talked to someone about it. They said that they would call me back for the answer and no one did.

They went above and beyond to get us into a great suv. We traded in a mini van and really we didnt need to get a different vehicle since nothing wrong with the one that we had, but I am really happy with the trade up and the service we got afterwards when they installed a remote start for us.

We bought a 2012 Equinox in 2015. We paid 2500.00 for an extended warranty and was told that if we didnt use it, we would get it back. The Equinox started having Stabiltrak warnings, errors and codes. We traded off the Equinox Monday 10-15-2018. When I called Zurich, the warranty company, I was told that I was eligible to get 11% of the 2500.00 back. I was livid. I called John Baker 3 times on 10/16 and 10/17. The guy answering the phone, put me on hold and said he gave Baker my name and number and he would be calling me.He has never got back with me. So I called again and asked to speak to his boss, Wednesday 10/17. Jeremy or Josh is whom I left the voicemail with. I never heard back from him either. Terrible way of doing business. You dont mind taking our money, but youll go out of your way not to give it back. I am taking the paper work,that I signed, to a lawyer.

Very dissatisfied. Without going into too much detail, the basic issue is that I feel they charged me for a service they didnt perform and wouldnt take responsibility. They wouldnt recheck when I let them know I didnt think the issue was fixed and blamed me for the issue.

Told us my motor had a lot of slug, my timing chain and rear main gasket was out. Had it looked at some where else and was told only my timing chain and rear main gasket was out not sluged motor that it was easier to put a new motor in then to fix my problem I wouldnt use or buy any thing from Lewis Chevrolet Buick in Atchison Kansas.

They sold me a car with a bad inner tierod then refused to fix it since it wasnt covered under a warranty. Really thats kind of a serious thing and I took it back three day after I purchased it. DONT GO HERE! They tell you cars are on the lot and you drive all the way down out of town and the car isnt there. In the begining they told us we were all approved but NEVER once told us we needed down payment. Then they already pre approved you for a car themselves like what car lot does that! Ive never heard anything like this before. I wont ever recommend this place to anyone.

I purchased a car from this place and have only had it for 6 months. I have several issues with it since. When I drove it off the lot they did not have a good detail on it, so they offered me a free full detail a couple weeks later. When I brought it in for the detail and they were done I could tell they didnt do a very good job on it either.
