Our Terminix service has been outstanding and very reassuring. We have had them help us with everything from ants to termite control to a stubborn possum! They are consistently prompt, knowledgeable and respectful of our time on calls and service.

Terminix expedited an inspection and report to ensure we got results within a very small due diligence period. They went above and beyond to make this happen. In particular, Geneva was very helpful, coordinating with my realtor, the homeowners, the inspector, and the management team. Throughout this rushed process, she was amazing. I am very grateful for the service received and appreciate their extra efforts!

I requested a treatment about 9 months ago and cancelled my contract afterward. However, they keep coming out and performing services and they keep sending me a bill. I have cancelled twice and cant get them to stop coming to my house. Whatever you do, dont give them a credit card number. And the customer service could definitely use some major improvements.

Eric is very thorough when he does the service on my home. If I need anything, hes a phone call away. Prompt and efficient, super knowledgeable.

Rick Hare does an excellent job for us. He is courteous, thorough, and professional. Should something be needed in between our regular quarterly treatments, he is quick to respond. He truly cares about his customers and Terminix is superb!

Showed up while my wife was alone making supper and proceeded to go upstairs to check for bedbugs. Wife is a social worker and is sometimes exposed so we get periodic checks to make sure none of them come home with her. The man was upstairs for less than 10 minutes, checked one single room, and declared that we had a big problem that was going to get worse real fast if we didn’t act fast and use their $1800 treatment. He claimed to have seen exoskeletons and blood and explained that only she had it on her side because they are attracted to female pheromones lol. He tried to tell her that he could get a contract from his truck and have her sign it and they could treat ONE ROOM for $1800 the next week. He would also have to do a second visit so that he could flip the mattress and check underneath (he saw all of these things somewhere else but was not able to provide proof). Thankfully we discussed his later that night. We then sought a 2nd and 3rd opinion and had 2 other companies come out for free, checked all 3 bedrooms as well as the sofa (very thoroughly. Took almost 45 minutes a piece and explained so many helpful things). Found nothing and gave us a business card to call back anytime we suspect anything and they will come out the next day to check again for free. I wound recommend anybody over terminex. They do not send certified technicians into the field, they work off of commission, and the management does not believe customer concerns. I would recommend smaller local companies that only have their reputation to keep themselves afloat. Not big “box store” of exterminators.

We had ants move in and wanted them gone!! The first two visits were fine and the ants were abated. We were required to go under contract and did so happily after the first treatment worked so well. That part was fine.The Associate who came to the house the last two times is where the problem comes in. His first visit was fine. My wife escorted him around the house as he checked and treated windows and doors. The last time, September 14, 2018, was another story. She escorted him around the downstairs and decided to let him go upstairs on his own. She noticed he was up there too long and quietly went up the stairs and watched him as he removed prescription med bottles from the medicine cabinet and read the labels. He was actually shining his flashlight on each label as he removed them one at a time, bringing them closer to his eyes, so he could read them. She asked him what he was doing, and scared the fire out of him. He stammered and said he was looking for silverfish (never once did we say we had anything other than ants, none upstairs, they were only in the kitchen.) She made him leave the house, had him finish up outside and paid him for the services. He was very worried that she might call his boss and he tried to express concern about him breaking her trust. Once I heard about this, I immediately called the office he works out of, 232 Swannanoa River Road, Asheville, and asked to speak to a supervisor. The girl who answered the phone said he wasnt there; he was at a conference at the corporate office in South Carolina. I asked for that number and she gave it to me. I called there and was told there was not conference going on, and the man I was looking for wasnt there. I left a message with his supervisor in the South Carolina office. I received a call a short time later from the Swannanoa River Road manager and explained what happened. He was surprised and told me, That doesnt sound like Al. He assured me he would look into it and call me back. It is now 10/17/18 and I havent heard a word. I have attempted to call the office and received no answer. From what I can tell the associate is not even an NC resident - I wonder about their vetting process. Beware and never leave an associate to lead themselves around your house. I really dont think they fired this guy - I wouldnt want him in my house or yours.

Terninix is a very good company. I have aways had good service from this company.Anytime I had a problem all I had to do was call and they came right out.
