I made arrangements with Adorn Asheville to have my hair and makeup done for my sons wedding. I live in Florida but everything turned out perfectly. The staff is a joy to work with and they are true artists who love what they do. I was beyond impressed and would highly recommend them for special events.

MC did an amazing job on my elopement hair and makeup. I had never had my makeup done professionally prior to this, and she made the whole experience so painless. She gave great advice, was wonderful company, and was very sanitary. I couldnt imagine a better experience for our special day.

Emily at Adorn is amazing at hair painting and bayalage. Ive seen her twice now (images posted). It is fun to even listen to her talk about her craft because she is so passionate about it and it is truly an art form for her. She has an eye for it and is obviously committed at her continuing education of staying up on all the new coloring techniques. Her consultation was thorough and she does such a fabulous job with a wonderful attitude. I highly recommend her.

Adorn did my wedding partys hair and makeup and I dont think we could have had a better experience. Andreas communication about the schedule, hair trial, services needed on the day of, etc. was totally on the ball, which was much appreciated as a bride trying to plan an out of town wedding! Emily did my hair and make-up for the trial and day-of. She did an amazing job, and was possibly one of the most pleasant people Ive ever met in my life. Adorn is perfect for just about everything you might need to adorn yourself! I have seen almost every stylist that works there, they have all worked miracles on my hair. They use only the top of the line products, many of which are organic, natural, or very close to it. Their nail techs are gentle and thorough, and the salon has a wide variety of services available. Adorn is also great for events! They have a lot of creative updos up their sleeves and can expertly and adeptly apply makeup in almost any style. Adorn checks every box for above average service and ample offerings.

We used Adorn for our wedding day hair/makeup and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire team!! Fasetta made the planning and scheduling of a large wedding party plus moms a total breeze. It was effortless! All of the girls were SO very happy with their hair and makeup. They also had a beautiful space where we could all hang out while everyone was getting their hair/makeup done. They were friendly, accommodating, and absolutely amazing!! Ive been here twice. I love the way they added flair to my bangs and layers! All the ladies getting specific styles seemed very happy with their results as well. The staff are always very amicable and focused.

Adorn Salon was absolutely wonderful! They came out to our hotel on my wedding day and provided hair/makeup services to me and my bridesmaids on site. It was so convenient for all of us to be able to pay individually on the day of the wedding - other places I looked into were trying to charge everything all together up front. I was a bit nervous because I wasnt a fan of my initial hair trial with them, but they took my feedback and it turned out absolutely gorgeous! Rebecca did my hair and it was even better than I hoped for. I cant remember the name of the other girl but she was awesome too! Super laidback, friendly, professional, fun, and skilled ladies! Thank you for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for bridal hair/makeup!

Doesnt send straightforward cost estimates for wedding.I sent date, location, quote request via email, got back vague information.Called to get cost of trial/see if thats an additional cost.Lady didnt know and kindly said to email wedding coordinator again.I did. She called me back a day later and left a voicemail to call her rather than listing the trial prices in the voicemail.When I called back, she asked for the wedding date (which Id provided in the original email to which she responded with some pricing but without trial costs).She then said that the trial is $60 hair, $70 for makeup but said the wedding date is already booked (which she never answered when she replied to everything else).Extremely inefficient, had to repeat everything, slow to respond, didnt just email or leave cost in voicemail -- required I call her back just to tell me theyre booked which she could have mentioned after my first email.I was comparing cost estimates, and they are not the lowest, but I wouldnt have wasted my time waiting/trying to gather information from them had I known they were booked/if theyd mentioned that in the first place.

I went today to get my long, dried out, damaged hair with countless split ends cut. I wanted to cut it short but was a little nervous about making such a dramatic move. My stylist was amazing, she talked me through everything she was doing, she was professional, taught me how to cut my bangs and gave me tips on how to care for my hair. My hair is healthy, bouncy, and feels so much better than it did before.

Went to this place for my wedding because my wedding planner recommended it. I was very satisfied with my hair, the girl did a amazing job. Other than that the girl that did my makeup was horrible. I asked her for a thin wing liner and she did it very thick and when I told her to take it off she said “I don’t do kardashian makeup here, I do natural and simple.” The rest of my bridesmaid make up was horrible as well, some looked like they barely had any on while another looked like she’s going clubbing. We all ended up doing our own makeup after we paid for it and ended being late to the wedding.Do not recommend this place for makeup whatsoever, especially on a big day.

Went in for a short hair cut, a stacked pixie style with long bangs. What I got was an extremely uneven bob.I kept trying to explain what I wanted and the stylist just seemed annoyed. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcomed in a salon before.The only reason I gave two stars was because she was nice enough to refund my money. I ended up going to another salon on Haywood to fix my hair. They did a great job with no excuses.

I have been a loyal customer of Adorn Salon for my hair and nail needs but today I will do the review for their massage service. Whenever I went for a massage in the past, I always go for the Swedish massage but on that day, I chose different route, this time Thai Massage.Thai massage kind of intimidates me since the therapist is in close contact with the customers. I mean he/she will pull you very closely during the stretching part to get the desired effect and kinda intrudes into your space. However, my therapist was very professional in handling me that is why I felt the tension went away quickly. The whole process went very smoothly though there were times that I had to tell the therapist that she needs to go lightly on the stretching sometimes to make me comfortable.Overall, the whole experience was very good and I felt good when I walked out of the door!

Had my make-up and hair done for my wedding and my make up looked great but my hair was nothing like I wanted and I honestly cried when I saw my previews of pictures because it just did not turn out like I wanted. In their defense, I have difficult hair and I did not do a preview which I should have.

To be honest - I liked the atmosphere pretty much. The cup of tea upon arrival made me feel relaxed and welcome. However the procedure (in my case - a facial) did not went that well. My face felt itchy long afterwards. Probably It was an allergic reaction that had nothing to do with the saloon or with the people who work there. Still I will probably not risk visiting again.

I was going to get a blow dry for a wedding but decided my damaged hair needed a cut. This was a leap of faith, as I recently moved away from the girl who has been cutting my hair for six years. I couldnt be happier with the cut!!!

Martha exceeded my expectations, and with her expertise she mixed the perfect color; eliminating brassiness left by a DIY disaster and fulfilling my desire to walk out with a low maintence, more natural look.Seeing Marthas excellent work made me feel comfortable risking everything, and I asked her to dye my eyebrows too (for the first time in my life). Needless to say, I was right to trust her. She nailed it and the decision to take the plunge enhanced my whole look. I have never felt more confident, and I get compliments all the time.Great hair days move mountains, and it makes me feel good to write this review to help others. I am looking forward to my next visit and I am delighted to recommend this salon.

First visit there and they ruined my hair, kept highlights in way too long and turned my blonde into gray. They fixed it for free but it is still grayish and will not go back to the color I had originally

I recently visited Adorn Salon and Boutique as a new member of the city of Asheville. When I arrived I was greeted very friendly until I met my hair stylist. She was extremely rude and condescending. I was tempted to get up and walk out because of the way she treated me and talked down to me saying that blonde highlights were unlikely to be attained today and that I should just make my hair one color. She also spoke about my home hair coloring as an atrocity and said she could see layers of colors in my hair. When I said she must have really good eyes she scoffed and went in the back to get my color and this point I believe she could have easily been bitching to the other staff in the back. She was not friendly and did not speak to me until near the end of my hair style/cut. My hair is now almost completely blonde and that is not what I asked for at all. When I asked for a trim, my hair was cut at least 3-4 inches shorter then it was previously and not at all what I asked for. At the end I was charged an additional $20 more then I had been quoted on the telephone. Maybe if you dont get the unfriendly hair stylist your experience is grand but I willNEVER go back here again.

As per the salon request on the website, I showed up for my appointment 10ish minutes early..and proceeded to wait 25 minutes until they were ready for me. I understand sometimes salons can run behind schedule, but there didnt appear to be anyone being serviced in front of me, so I was a little annoyed. On top of that, the girls at the front desk were not very friendly or helpful, with no explanation for why my appointment was running so late, and not even an apology or acknowledgment of the lateness.I went for a brazilian and the waxologist was not very friendly -- Ive been getting waxed at various places for 5 years and this was on the lower end in terms of quality and experience. I tried to make some conversation but she seemed pretty closed off, which made it a little uncomfortable. She used a hard wax (which was too hot!) which left some hair -- about 8/10 places Ive been to make an effort to at least remove a few ingrowns if they are there, but no such effort was made here - she didnt even ask. :( Will not be coming back, sorry.
