Ive used them multiple times and will continue to do so. I bought a refurbished phone, which has worked well for a few years. They are always busy (a product of good service), so Id recommend making an appointment if possible. In addition I had a problem they said was common with my phone, and guided me through short steps in the menu to fix it. My downgrade to 4 stars was that when I ordered a screen saver, I never got communication from them that it arrived, and when I went in a few weeks later, they had sent it back. They did refund me, but didnt help with my problem.

Great small business with terrific service. I didnt want to spend $1000 on an upgrade to a new phone just because my battery was dying. These guys are great and provide a much needed service. I am very happy with my experience here.

I snapped my headset jack in the headset port on my Note 9. I surfed the internet for solutions but wanted somebody with more expertise than I to perform the surgery. I went to two other places with no success. (both wanted to crack open the case and perform an expensive repair) One actually recommended CPR Cell Phone Repair in South Asheville.CPRs business is clean and neat. I was in line and noticed that they treated the customers kindly and efficiently.I explained my problem to them and they said it was no problem. The fellow took my phone and walked into the back out of sight and returned without delay. It was so quick I thought he would tell me he couldnt fix my phone. He was holding the offending broken piece of the jack in his hand! What a relief.I highly recommend CPR for your repair needs. It is awful to have a broken phone and great to be able to have it fixed quickly and without fuss.

Great experience here getting my horribly damaged phone screen repaired. staff was friendly and knowledgeable and I had my phone back in a little less than two hours (Monday morning walk-in). its like brand new. super easy process and affordable.

It’s been three months after they cheaply replaced my screen, it’s literally coming out of the phone. I bought it back bc it was falling out and was told that was normal but they’d see what they could do, got my phone back and the back was shattered, was told there were no cameras to prove I didn’t do it and too bad basically, my camera hasn’t worked the same since either. Save your money and go somewhere legit

The Verizon store sent me to CPR to fix a sim card issue - they did it quickly and for free. While I was there, I had them install a shield for my husbands phone, again fast, affordable and super convenient. Love this place!

I was referred to CPR from Motorola. Motorola wasnt able to replace my broken screen on my Moto Z Play. I called CPR, they ordered the part. I paid in advance. Less then a week. They got my screen replaced, Im so happy I got my phone back.

I am SUPER! happy with the repair (so far). I have a fairly old ps4 that I dropped and killed the HDMI. After talking with them, they suggested it might not be the HDMI (it was) and to hold off paying until the repair was done. I got it back today and not only does it work, I think they cleaned the bejusus out of it because the fans seem WAYYYY quieter!... WAY TO GO and THANK YOU!

I took my phone here to replace my iPhone 11 screen. They replaced it with an aftermarket screen and took out the Apple chip in my phone so it would not detect that it was a different screen. My phone screen started scratching really easily after and had a purple line through it. Not to mention I asked for a clear replacement and was given a tinted one. My phone screen ended up shattered 2 weeks after getting it replaced originally. I will no longer do any business with cpr. Overall I was not satisfied with the outcome

However when my daughter called for a quote to fix the screen on her 🍎 CPR(Cell Phone Repair) was 150.00 more expensive. I will kindly not delete the review as I thought I was being fair.

I sent my Nintendo switch for a battery replacement for $100. And I asked them if they replaced the tharmal paste on both sides of the heat sink. They only charged me $10 extra for the tharmal paste replacement ($110 total). There was 3 striped screws holding the case. The screws was badly stripped (in my opinion) but CPR was able to remove the stripped screws without damaging the console. I went home to order new screw replacement for the stripped screws. The new screws came in 12 hours after I ordered them (thank you Amazon.com for fast delivery) and CPR put the new 3 screws in with no extra charge. I am still in the processing of testing the new battery but so far works as new. One tip: when you first turn the console on and start to play a game I the system will be hot but after 10 minutes it cooled a little down for me. The battery was 35% when I turned it on. Make sure to drain the console then charge the battery fully then drain the battery completely and recharge it and repeat the steps 3 to 4 times before playing the switch in docked mode (that will help the battery be recalibrated and function properly otherwise the battery indicator be inaccurate). Other that recalibrating the battery works (hopefully I still need to charge it completely and test the battery. One more tip: before you play the switch for the first time turn the system off completely and allow it to cool for 12 hours (until you wake up).

The establishment is small but accommodates whatever phone problem being experienced. These guys are awesome! Went in there to get my screen fixed on an old phone I have already replaced just so I could send something to my new phone that wasnt backed up by the cloud. They did me one better by working their magic and sending it to the new phone without replacing the screen. Saved me a good chunck of change and time. I had been trying EVERYTHING to do it myself but had given up and was prepared to spend what it took to fix it. I really like these guys, and will be giving them my business as much as possible. I brought my phone here for a battery replacement in April of 2019. The employees were very professional. While replacing the battery they shattered the display. They replaced it on their dime, so all it cost me was an extra day or two. When I got the phone back the new screen would not stay in the phone. It was also not the same quality as the original (the display worked, but it was slightly bluer and not quite as bright).I returned the phone three or four times to let them try and glue the screen in. Finally, I stopped going back, despite the issue not being fully resolved. Six months later, the screen was ready to fall out of the phone. I was able to completely remove the display and remove all of the goop they used to try and glue it in. The screen was finally seated correctly and not coming up!A month goes by and the battery they put in the phone gives. Any time the camera is used and the phone isnt at 100% it shuts off without warning. $90 and the battery they used barely lasted 6 months.Update: I stopped using the phone after the above mentioned 6 months. Today I finally opened it up to remove the bad battery to replace myself. When I got the battery out it had swollen to be about twice as thick as it originally was. I cant believe the poor quality of the battery they put in my device.

My Pixel 4 went in for a screen replacement. After getting back I was excited and it looked good upon inspection.... Then a couple days later the back of the phone is coming off and Im holding it down with tape now to keep out water. Also my GPS has been completely worthless since. So pretty much forced to buy a new phone and forced to significantly downgrade. Huge waste of $299 + tax😖

Brought my phone in for battery replacement. These guy DO NOT get certified batteries from the company who made the originals, so beware. Took it home and noticed it wasnt fast charging. Brought it back, they tried 2 more batteries and wouldnt get it to fast charge. I come in and in-store do a little tinkering of my own on the phone and I get it to fast charge... Seriously.Then I notice that my screen has a brand new giant crack in it a full inch long. Now the phone did already have some damage to the screen but I expected these guys to be careful. They were not. To top it off they say because it already had damage on the glass, they arent responsible for any further damage that they do to it so wouldnt even give me any sort of discount at the very least. They severely overcharge as well for shoddy work. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE HERE.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, however their selection for cell phone cases and screen protectors was meager. However if you need a phone repaired or checked for viruses this is an excellent place to bring it. I give CPR of South Asheville 4 out of 5 👍👍

I wish I could give these people less than a star, negative stars if I could. Brought my phone in once for a routine screen fix and they broke the camera. Told me they’d fix it and broke the back of the phone glass and said they weren’t liable, then the manger emailed me and said he’d fix the camera and the glass so I brought my phone back, they couldn’t fix the camera and said they’d buy me a new phone and admitted fault. They then a few days later “decided to take back that offer”. Fast forward to today when I see 2 new charges on my credit card for repairs I didn’t do, haven’t set foot in the store in over a week. These people are down right criminals, they lie, steal, and break your electronics.

Dont go here. Ive had to get a new card so they would stop trying to recharge me over and over. Plus Im pretty sure they messed up my home button replacing my screen.And this is no a fake review. Idk how they are trying to say every bad review is fake or malicious.

Over the course of a month and a half I’d taken my broken PS4 to CPR twice. The first time they had my unit for 3 weeks after which they said they weren’t able to find an issue. However, within 15 minutes of taking it home and booting it up the unit froze and shutdown. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I took it back to them once again. Shortly after they called and left me a message saying the issue was the hard drive. I attempted to call them back 3 times and after I couldn’t get through I ended up leaving a voicemail telling them to go ahead with the hard drive repair. After hearing nothing for another 3 weeks I called to check in and they said they hadn’t gotten my message and that they “didn’t check their voicemail.” Awesome...Nice guys overall, but super unprofessional.

Had my iPhone screen replaced here. Quick service and very nice people. The screen looked great. The only thing that keeps me from leaving 5 stars is the fact that the color of the screen was a little off. Im sure thats just because its not an original part but thought it was worth mentioning. Drove across town to price replacement of watch screen. When I got there the young person at the counter advised me despite their website saying they offered the service, they didnt do it anymore because of some bad experiences with iwatches. During the exchange another customer had come I behind me. When I asked for information on anyone I could go to he simply referred me to the manufacturer and began assisting the customer behind me. It didnt make me want to come back.

They did great. My phone just randomly shut off and the screen went black, even-though it continued to vibrate and ring. I took it in to CPR cell repair and they fixed the screen and the little crack I had on my phone for only $100. Great service and great prices. I have a non-mainstream phone (i.e. not Samsung/Apple) and the glass back was damaged. I took it here and they initially said they could not fix it because they could not order parts for it. I asked if I could obtain the parts if they would attempt the repair, and they said they could. So I ordered parts from overseas, waited three weeks, then the day arrived, my phone would be fixed! Yet when I arrived I was told even if I provided the part they werent going to attempt the repair, unless, maybe, I ordered a spare screen too in case they broke it. Wow. Now you MIGHT try it if I order a surplus part in case you break that in the process, which really instills confidence. Went elsewhere, got it done overnight, good as new.

IPhone vs. 4 yr old vs. car window vs. on-coming traffic = pulverized screen and dead camera (but miraculously, everything else about the phone was fine). These guys were GREAT! They were super friendly, knowledgable, and FAST. When they didnt have one of the parts they needed, they immediately ordered it for me, let me know as soon as it was in, and did that repair at no charge. I cant say enough great things about them, and I will absolutely recommend them to anyone with phone issues!

The team at CPR South (Gerber Village) go out of their way to take care of you and deal with problems or show you how to get more from your phone. They have calmed me down when things went haywire and provided assurance and relief from problems with technology. Nobody wants to deal with tech issues, especially our phones. Its good to know there is an urgent care place you can go when your device is sick!

My Iphone 6S+ was unfortunately left under the rain for almost an hour. I thought it was completely damaged. I took it to one repair shop and they were going to charge me around $200 telling me that the charger import and the speakers needed to be replaced. Then I took it to CPR CELL PHONE REPAIR to get a second opinion. They first thought and gave me an estimate 59.99 to 69.99 but then when they got in there they were very honest with me and told me that neither of those parts needed to be replaced what the phone just needed was maintenance. They were pretty quick and after a couple of hours when I went to go pick up my phone all it ended up costing me was $41.73. I appreciated their honesty. I appreciated their friendliness and I appreciated how fast they were in getting the phone back to me. I highly recommend CPR CELL PHONE REPAIR and I will definitely use them from this point on.
