Had a grea facial with Amalia she was walking me step bit step on what she was doing, front desk was very friendly, especially that one tall fella, I think his name is dylan. Very kind and polite. Also get energetic and he will make you feel very welcome.

I was really disappointed in my experience after wanting to give this place a shot. I dont like leaving negative reviews but this place was rude, short, and lacked the basic business tact to resolve an issue with the customer in mind like Ive never experienced. They had to cancel my 1 pm appointment (at 7pm the night before), suggested an alternative time for me to come in (which I was accepting of and I confirmed with them), then when I called day-of just to re-confirm, they didnt have me on the schedule in either slot. Instead of apologizing, offering a solution, promptly giving me options for the following week, etc., they were dismissive, gave me a customer service number to call, and had a sort of sorry it didnt work out attitude. A little acknowledgement and solution-oriented service would have made a world of difference and this place just did not deliver.

I purchased a gift certificate from THIS location at Christmas time for my mother. When she tried use it in August they claimed there was a $0 balance and someone 5 states away had used it last. The manager said she would call the location where it was used and clear it up. They kept the card and sent her on her way. Her debit card info was kept on file for the tip. Then they charged $65 several hours later for the message. Without any further communication. When we called to ask why she was charged they said it was our responsibility to figure it out! I literally bought this gift card at the same store! So we basically paid twice for an OK message.All my friends and family will know about this and NEVER be back. Dishonesty sucks.

Amazing experience! It was my first time getting a massage and everyone was so incredibly kind, laid back, and casual. They really focused on making sure I was comfortable for my first experience and you best believe I was! 10/10 100% recommend them. Very kind people!!! Let me add that my masseuse was Rachel and she was so helpful and made me feel so comfortable and really relaxed.

I had a great experience here. I decided to get a massage on a whim & had never been to a massage envy before. Being in the spa industry myself, I was skeptical. This establishment did not disappoint. I loved being able to book immediately online. I’m a huge fan of online booking. The receptionist was very thorough with my intake & my therapist Robert delivered one of the best & most healing massages I’ve ever had. I will definitely be going back to see Robert again! I was highly impressed.

The services were very professional. Drove to the location for the appointment and had to wait about an extra 25 minutes due to the schedule having some issues but other than that the service was fantastic. The massage therapist was wonderful. I would recommend.

But let me tell you about this amazing human being Cindi (Esthetic Genius) who did my facial. This was by far the best facial I have ever received!!! She was so genuine and KNEW her stuff. You can tell when someone is passionate about what they do.... they can talk forever about it! The fact that her skin is flawless makes me believe that she knows what shes talking about . I noticed a difference in my skin immediately and she gave me tips to use at home. So thankful for people like her in the world and in customer service. You did good choosing this one Massage Envy!

Worst massage I have ever received. I do however appreciate being able to come in same day. I had requested lavender aromatherapy which wasn’t used. I did receive it after my massage once the girls up front gave it to me. The front desk is very nice. I will definitely not be back.

Great place!! First visit everyone was really friendly and helpful. They are affordable and knowledgeable. Every person in there was extremely friendly. The center is located in a shopping mall. Plenty of parking. Easy to get to with great hours! It was clean and comfortable. They were very up to date on their information and even followed up with me! This place is awesome no other place can compare. Also it’s walk in no appointment times to follow.

My wife and I were on vacation and after being the car for some time, my wife suggested I get a massage to help. I arrived at this location, and the front desk were very attentive as soon as I walked through the door; which surprised me because I have been to quite a few massage places and I feel as though it is never professional. The young lady introduced me to my therapist and I was asked beforehand where and what spots or problems I was having.. This enough let me know they were not just about taking my money but really wanted to help me solve my muscle and back issues. This was probably one of the best massages I have had yet, and I have had quite a few over the years.The management really has a hold over their staff here and its clear from the time of walking through the door, until its time to leave. I can say one thing I will be coming back and recommending this clinic to everyone that visits the area.

This may be the BEST Massage Envy location I have ever been to!! I have been a Massage Envy member since early 2008 and have been to at least 7 different locations in three different cities across the country. All of the locations were acceptable to me, but I have never experienced such a consistently high level of excellence as I have at this location. EVERYONE from the front desk staff to the therapists are exceptionally talented at what they do. I have never had a mediocre massage here, they have all been FANTASTIC!! And the front desk staff are super efficient and crazy friendly.Give this place a try, you will LOVE it!!

The front desk is always so helpful and friendly. Savannah B the front desk manager is absolutely the best. She provides excellent customer service and is so friendly. Savannah along with Calliope and Stavi and honestly every other lady at the front desk provide the best customer service Ive ever experienced anywhere. On top of that my normal Massage Therapist Ashley is such a awesome therapist. Shes very friendly and professional and makes you feel like a million dollars after your massage. Holly is another awesome massage therapist that deserves recognition. This Massage Envy is a great place and I honestly cant say enough good things about them.

Massage was amazing! The only issue I had was how they seemed to want to sale you everything it took just as long for me to listen to the sales pitch as it did to get my massage. I signed up for a membership because I get massages on a regular basis so it was worth the money and its close to my work. I just wish they would focus more on relaxing client experiences and not so much of the sales. I also loved the fact they had handicapped employees this showed their open minded and I highly respect that.

My husband, daughter, and I are all members at Massage Envy. We all have our favorite massage therapists and love having the ability to schedule massages whenever we need them. The hours are great! My daughter is a severe migraine sufferer who has been helped greatly by massage. We are so thankful this office is here in Arden and enjoy the special care given by all the team members.

First time getting a massage in many years. Had a fantastic experience all the way around. Everyone was super nice and professional. My therapist Cory was AMAZING! I suffer from bad posture and after my hour long session I walked out of there feeling the best I had in a long time. Cant wait for my next visit!

Ive now had two pre-natal massages at this location (with two different massage therapists), and theyve both been great. I dont have to wait long once I arrive. The front desk workers are friendly and courteous. The massages have been relaxing and well-done. It can be difficult to get an appointment if youre booking less than a week ahead of time, but that probably speaks to the quality of this location. Theyre also not super pushy about making new appointments or buying products when youre on your way out, which is something I appreciate.

Massage Envy South Rocks!!!I was a member Massage Envy in Largo, Florida many years ago and was really excited when one opened here in Asheville. I have been a member here for over a year and all of my experiences have been very pleasant and positive. From the time you walk in the door until you leave, you are encouraged to relax and great care is taken to help you do this. The ambience is wonderful with lots of special touches to encourage de-stressing. The folks at the front desk are always extremely polite, helpful and attentive. The massage therapists that I have seen have all been excellent. From what I can tell, Massage Envy only hires skilled professional that have been doing massage and healing work for a while and truly enjoy what they do. I have received several types of work to include energy work, deep tissue massage and a sugar foot scrub and I always leave feeling completely relaxed and satisfied. I will NEVER do business with this awful company again. Although the services they offer are great and I was extremely pleased with the massages and facials I received. The business they do is very shady! They were extremely unprofessional and IGNORED my email when I tried to give them a chance to make things right. I feel robbed by them. I paid for a service I never received. I signed up for a three month contract where I would receive one service a month. I was never told that you had to pay to get out of the contract. A $59.50 fee which you could credit towards a massage or facial. They told me I had until the end of January to use it. I called to schedule an appointment and they told me it had expired. Go somewhere local and dont waste your time on this greedy corporate place.... So disappointing...

Loved my massage at Massage Envy Spa - Asheville south! Heated massage table, deep tissue therapeutic massage and aromatherapy with lavender - what a special treat! I have had shoulder pain and this helped so much that I set up another appointment for next month. This is one of the best massages that I have ever had - Amanda was wonderful! I would recommend this massage to anyone!

Dealing with the managment team is awful. They do not return your phone call. There are way better places to get massages at a great price. I will cancel my membership as soon as they call me back. They are just out for money. Turn over in therapist is a large amount. Front office staff is rude. I do not recommend this company at all.

The only thing to Envy is the person that’s not stuck in a contract with this company. I had the misfortune of signing a contract with this company and hated every day of it. I should be able to gift as many massages that I paid for to my friends and family but according to the contract I couldnt do that and they refused to make an exception. I was told the wrong date that my contact would expire and as a result wasn’t able to use $300 worth of massages I had already paid for. This location has more turnover than McDonalds so don’t expect to see the same person twice which says a lot about the management style. This place is definitely the first stop for masseuses after they graduate school, once they get some experience they move onto places with better pay. NEVER EVER EVER sign a contract with Massage envy.

In Asheville, there are so many better places to have a quality massage at an affordable price. I got talked into a membership at Massage Envy and really regret it. This franchise has a ton of issues that have been made public in the past year, including sexual assault. This particular location seems to be very poorly run and the employees are constantly turning over. As soon as you find someone you like, they quit. At the time of this review, there is a TWO WEEK wait to get a facial. Thankfully with a doctors note, the membership can be canceled.

I am a new member at Massage Envy Spa and I am really enjoying being pampered each month. The atmosphere is calming and it is a real mini-retreat from the stresses of life. Rose has been awesome at the front desk and Patti has been ironing out the kinks in my tired, old body!! I just got a facial today with Nikki and that really fed my girlie side. Im glad I decided it was worth treating myself!

Best gift I ever gave to myself was a membership to ME South AVL!!! In my line of work, my muscles get very tight and coming to ME is like therapy for me. Christy is THE BEST there is, as evidenced by her “fully committed” schedule...so my advice is to book with her anytime she has an opening!!! You will not be sorry!!! Highly recommend!!!

My wifes experience--I was charged $55 for services I didnt receive due to an error Massage Envy made. Their Customer Service has yet to get back to me to make it right. On Friday, September 6, my credit card was charged $55 from Massage Envy. I was at work all day and did not receive any services from Massage Envy. I called on my lunch break to the Massage Envy location. The lady told me I would have to call a different phone number regarding my issue. I called the number she provided and left a message. The next day my sister received a phone call from Massage Envy. They left her a voicemail message. My sister told me when she got the message. I called back right away. I had to leave another message. Three days passed with no response. On Tuesday, I called the number again to leave another message. I also did a form to contact Massage Envy about my issue via their website. That evening it occurred to me what happened. I called the Massage Envy location where I get my massages to verify my ****** **** was still on file. When I was in for my last massage, I requested they can it to my **** card. The lady who took my card that day put my **** card number on someone elses account. I repeat, she put my card on someone elses account so Im being charged for someone elses massages! I explained to the Massage Envy rep that this is the current situation: I updated my card info with another one of her reps but it was entered into someone elses membership account. She said she would make a note to send to them, but the customer team would not be back in until Friday evening. Because of the lack of contact regarding whether they could correct the situation they created I had to call my **** card company to close that card so that no further transactions could be charged to me. I followed up with a another email via the online form. Six phone calls and three emailed correspondences and the only response I received was an email letting me know how to cancel my membership. I replied back to the email and have yet to hear from anyone. My **** card company told me I had to go through Massage Envy to get the refund. Theyre still not contacting me to even acknowledge an error. After arbitrating through a 3rd party and being let out of my membership, theyve gone and charged me again. Im going to have to totally close my **** card because I cant trust Massage Envy to honor our end-of-contract! Stay far away from this incompetence!

Massage Envys front desk associates are personable and efficient. I have had nothing but good experiences with them.I have had a facial and two massages and both experiences were super. The thing I like most about my experiences is the willingness of the therapists to listen to what I want and what I need. They are also very compassionate.

Front desk staff takes great care in making sure you are taken well care of, had the best massage and facial. Walked away feeling relaxed and glowing. A wonderful experience.

I have muscle knots, and have been going to the Asheville Massage Envy now twice a week for over a month. WOW what a difference they have made in my recovery... now starting once a week next week and love everyone there and the help they have made so I can function again.

Terrible management!!!!!The therapist are awesome, but the management and receptionist are very unprofessional and rude. Would definitely not recommend this location!!!!After attempting to contact the Manager, requesting the District Manager and being told that this establishment is private--I decided to update my feedback to Hated it. I have contacted the Corporate office both by phone and email--but as of yet I have not been able to talk to a person. I guess I will be forced to make a claim at the Better Business Bureau. Worse Customer Service ever!!!!

I was given an hour massage by one of my coworkers to try out Massage Envy. I was given a tour when I arrived for my massage. I became a member after my first massage and have returned for another massage. Krisztina is an awesome therapist and we made an instant connection the first time. My knee feels the best it has felt in over a year and I dont feel the weight of the world on my shoulders. I look forward to being able to run again. The front staff worked to fit my schedule and make sure I get to continue to see Krisztina.

I prefer medium to deep tissue and he accomodated my needs and I left there relaxed and loosened in the areas that needed it most, my neck and shoulders. Great experience overall. Looking forward to the North Asheville location opening in June 2015

I had an appointment which I needed and was looking forward to badly. My cat had died that week, I was hurting due to wk, and I had gone to my dr for a shot of Toradol. This is non narcotic anti-inflammatory med. I had the injection 3 -4 hrs prior to my massage, but she refused to give me the massage, because of the Toradol. Really, is she a dr.? My Dr said it would be fine. I will never go back there. I was contemplating joining so I could get a discount for a massage once a month but Ive taking my business elsewhere.

I had gotten a free massage, where a member/my friend paid $10 to transfer a massage to me. They already knew my name when I called.First available for the type of massage Desired/THEIR suggested person was 12 days that also fit my schedule.Recieved reminder call day before scheduled appointment.Go in, fantastic massage by Tara!On my way out, they explained that the credit from transfer expired, and that I had to pay $55 for the massage because I didnt use by the expiration date.But the first available wasnt until today!Im very sorry sirWas this not checked before I went back today?Im very sorry sir, Ive emailed our team and corporate so that this doesnt happen again, im very sorryI paid 55 so I could leave. After tipping more than I normally would, simply due to thinking it was a free massage. Well- I couldnt say oh let me get some of my tip I left.THEN they tied to sell me a membership. I declined. And they asked the audacity to ask:Whats holding you back?I replied with todays charge!I will NOT be back, and will not accept a transfer for a free massage there again.*update*I have since recieved a replacement massage to make things right. I have to say I love my monthly massages, esp at this location! Since becoming a new mom and after being gifted a massage for my birthday about 6 mo ago, I decided to become a member since it would force me to do something nice for myself once a month. I tend to carry alot of stress=pain in my upper shoulders so each time my appointment rolls around, Im really looking forward to it . Sometimes I wish the member program was a little more flexible in terms of being able to skip a month, but I have to admit, every time go, I leave SO relaxed and laugh at myself for always forgetting what an extremely rewarding experience it is! The staff is super friendly and accommodating, the therapists are all varied but after seeing 3-4 different ones, Ive decided to stick with Michael. He is my absolute favorite! He gives an extremely professional, relaxing massage, and I cant help but smile from ear to ear while Im laying there. I told him hes like a ninja. haha. really tho, every movement has so much intention and I get chills everytime! I have a new respect for massage therapy as a whole now, you can tell it is an art form and these people really know their stuff! I was also really pleased that they let me use a free voucher for a facial on my mom who was visiting from out of town. That was an added bonus as she thought it was incredible! For facials, I recommend Amy! Shes awesome!

My name is Katherine Rathbone I have used this spa for 2 years .I have called 3 times to have my account stopped and sent a fax to them just today and can not get a answer or replay from them at all. I have been on hold with them since Oct 2014 and I want to stop the withdraw from my bank account. When I call I am told the manger is busy or not there at all and will get back with me but she never does . My husband Ken Rathbone is trying to get the same thing done with no response. They are rude and make you fill like no big deal your problem . I want my account with them stopped I am under no contract with them now and neither is my husband . I do not want them to take any more money out off my account and I have given them plenty off notice . Do not sign a contract with this spa because they will not stop withdrawing from your account even if you ask and your contract is dead.

The customer service at this location is horrible. Try using the North location.

My contract is over and they keep taking money out of my account. The manager promised me it would not happen again and it just keeps happening.
