Horrible experience. Online says there are cars available and you are able to reserve one. However, when you go to pick up said car they say they dont have any. The same vehicle we requested online sat empty on the lot all day.

This place is convenient since I live in town. They had alot of car choices. They do need more help at this location. The staff was great and worked hard. I had Aaron and it was a pleasure talking with him.

I’m in the process of relocating to Asheboro, NC. I needed a rental car for a week while I find a place to live. Sarah C at the local Enterprise not only got me in an affordable yet large rental, I’m a huge guy, she also gave me a ton of information and recommendations for great places to live in the area. To top it off, I had to go back to Vermont with the rental on a one way trip and Sarah got me a solution despite having a busy day with a limited selection remaining. Enterprise did great at both providing great rates and selection but where they set themselves apart is hiring people like Sarah. Best experience I have had doing business in a long time.
Honestly what could’ve been disastrous in every way turned out to be a positive and memorable experience thanks to Mas the Manager at this location and the Roadside Assistance Driver named Scott along with the online agents that helped us stay safe by accommodating and providing the Car Factor, Friendly Customer Service, and Professionalism in helping us in resolving the unfortunate issues we endured so Thank you Mas and all who were involved in making us happy in every way!
Made a reservation a few days ahead of pick up date. We made the pick up time for noon. We arrived and they were closed!! So no car!! Called the 800 number and therepresentative told me to just go to the next closest one, which is 35 miles . Luckily we called before driving because they had nothing available. Never using them again. Dont recommend this company.
They really tried to work with me but unfortunately cause they dont take cash app I am now waiting to get my money back that I put down for no reason cause I didnt even get the car

Reserved a car to pick up at 11:30 am. Wasnt able to pick up until 2pm.and I wasnt able to get the car I reserved. I was given and had to pay for a more expensive one because THEY didnt have the one I reserved. I had planned for $296 and ended up paying $ 341.
I recently moved to the area and found the young man that used to assist me in High Poinnt Mas is now out here and he is amazing. The assistant manager Sarah helped me with my rental for Christmas and she was so sweet and helpful. 5/5 from those two I would recommend to everyone I’ll definitely be going back in the new year

Gave one star because i cant give zero our car was vandalized my insurance reserved a car through these guys when my wife picked up the car was told it was the only one they had and we had to pay out of pocket due to it costing more than insurance would pay.The car was filthy and gas hand on empty these guys continued to carge us when we werent supposed to pay and to top it all off they kept the deposit so if you would like a nasty car without gas in it and to be completely ripped off this is your place only in Asheboro due you find such a place
I had a rental from the accident and they charge me for insurance with a $1700 bill highly upset! Then when I request to speak to supervisor it was told to me by representative it takes 7-10 business days for a supervisor to contact me but it has been a month now still no answer
I rent from my local Enterprise very often and Ive never had any issues until my most recent rental. I always rent my vehicles Friday-Sunday with no extra fees being applied or taken from my account, that was not the case this time. I was charged another full day for returning the car on a Sunday, when I called to speak to the manager about this I was told he was in a meeting and would contact me when he was available, that never happened, the sales person also informed me that there was a new policy but the policy is not plainly noticed on the website nor is it stated when i reserved my car online or when I picked it up.. I called back the next business day only for the manager to tell me that my refund had been processed at 10:30pm the night before and I would need to wait 24-48 hours before I would see it, its been over a week and still no refund. Very poor service and I felt the need to cancel my upcoming reservation.
The car I was given smelled like smoke. My husband smelled it as well. Somehow my assistant did not smell it. He said he would take care of it, disappeared for a little bit and the car still came back stinky. I was in such a hurry that I just took the car. My service was very attentive when I picked up the car. When I returned the car I had apparently become invisible. Several employees walked by me made eye contact and then kept walking. I do appreciate they were with other customers but it would have been nice had someone acknowledge my presence and said something like ...will be with you in just a bit and thank you for you patience. I usually have much better experiences with Enterprise, but usually at the airport locations and not at a small outpost. I was very disappointed. On a happy note, the car they gave me was very nice, except for the obvious smell of cigarette smoke.
Fast, last minute service! Personable, helpful employees! Not one single issue. Affordable rates. We are using Enterprise again in a few weeks for our family beach trip.
I couldnt give a zero so I gave a 1 star I called to rent a vehicle from Asheboro Enterprise because it was the closest one to me I called exactly 2 weeks in advance and on my way to pick up the vehicle they called me to tell me they no longer had the vehicle I was told I would be getting yes they offered me something else but because I have a family of 5 a small Fusion would not work so I had nothing and this is the day before I was needing the vehicle so I DONT Recommend this place .
The vehicle they gave my wife stinks badly they tried to cover it up but it didnt work and they need to start taking care of there vehicles if they plan on running these cars and trucks over 100000 I should not have to worry about a motor locking because a company doesnt change the oil
Absoutley terrible. Employees lie to cover their own tails. They are not on the same page. Speak aggressively and try to intimidate individuals. I have never had a good experience with enterprise.
Both representatives were very thorough and friendly. Pick up and drop off were both quick. The company is following CDC guidelines for COVID safety. Very pleased.
Fast service and they are keeping up with Covid-19 and maintaining the cars clean and dissecting them.

This place seems to be in a chronic state of not enough employees. It is hard to call, as you are routinely routed to people in other places who really cant efficiently help you. My last rental there smelled very strongly of smoke, but I took it anyway, as I was on tight achedule. My companion suggested that I buy the $20/day add-on for extra coverage recommended by the employee. That said, the employee who was there was trying his best to keep up in spite of everything, and doing it with grace and just the right bit of charm.

My Enterprise experience was outstanding as always. Two comments: this time, I received only one key instead of two keys cabled together. One was apparently previously lost. Actually, I consider this an improvement, as with two keys cabled together, Ive always figured if I lost one key, Id have to pay to replace two. Someone please explain why two keys cabled together is a good idea. The other irritant is having to to pay for a second driver if not a spouse/relative. A second driver should be covered in the initial cost, provided the driver is properly licensed and insured. Local staff was very courteous and helpful as usual. I was allowed to pick up my vehicle earlier than originally scheduled, with no increase in cost. Good idea as the office closed at noon anyway, and it allowed me to pack the vehicle earlier. Thanks for the opportunity to comment.
Everything was great until they kept $30 of my $200 deposit for no reason, charged me for 7 gallons of gas at 3.75 a gallon, even though gas is 1.77 right now and I filled the tank up and drove ten miles to there business and dropped it off, ridiculous will never use them again and suggest no one else does either unless they make it right, if they did then everything would be excellent
Stay away from this place, over charged me, sends me a receipt that doesnt match bank statements, only after 2 days of trying to talk to someone, dont see how they can do this legally. Never using entrprize again, would suggest the same to anyone else in need of a rental
I had to rent a car to go to my 30 year high school reunion and I went in to Enterprise to talk to them about what I wanted and it was great. The day I went to pick up the car they had it ready and it was so easy. When I returned the car the gentleman that was there said he had just transferred from another branch and saw I was alone and asked if I had a ride home which I thought was very nice. I told him that my daughter was going to be picking me up. They really made me feel like I was important. I will be renting from them again when I go on my next adventure.
Drivers love to use the parking lot as their personal racetrack. Went to the parts store with my kids and while loading up my truck they fly by at road speeds. Twice while I was there they flew by my truck and kids without a regard for our safety. I think management needs to have a talk before someone gets hurt or worse.
Made a recent reservation in person for an SUV in December and then reserved a Sedan 6 weeks later online, both times were fast and easy and both vehicles were clean and ready at pickup..I have used Enterprise in Asheboro, NC several times now and would recommend this location

It is convenient to home, but I had a problem with this location this time. Enterprise called to ask if I still wanted the van (Yes, I did! Good!). What time? 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning. They did not tell me that they did no open until 9:00 a.m. I arrived at 8:40 a.m. to learn that they werent open, and that my van would not be available until 9:30 a.m. - it was coming from Greensboro. The van finally arrived after 10:00 a.m. making me even later for my next meeting.

My husband and I had placed a reservation for a full size pick up truck a week before we was supposed to leave for Florida. We had set the reservation for pick up at 6 PM to allow us both time to get there after work. We arrived at 5:30pm and was informed that they found a nail in the tire when they was cleaning the truck and had to take it to be repaired. When I asked the gentlemen what time it would be ready he informed me that It wouldnt be ready that day. When I asked him when it would be ready he told me that he wasnt sure. They had a week to prepare and have a vehicle there and ready and couldnt follow through. We had to end up borrowing a vehicle from a friend to make it on time.
The staff was very friendly during the rental and return process. I did have to wait an hour and a half past the scheduled pick up time for the vehicle to receive an oil change.
I have rented twice from the Asheboro Enterprise store. I give them 5 stars both times. Very efficient and helpful.

My experience was a roller coaster ride : fantastic service, quick and friendly staff, then down the slope due to a miscommunication around signed paperwork, but right back up to fantastic even after our disagreement! we didnt see eye to eye at first but the manager really stopped and put herself in the customers shoes and LISTENED: Great and resilient Team!
My experience with enterprise was GREAT! I was unable to rent an SUV but they accommodated me with another car that fit my needs well. The car I was offered was very spacious which allowed my 14 hour trip to be very comfortable. I also like how they do GPS rentals in case you do not have one. And they have very good customer service; the guy that attended me, Aaron, was very outgoing and nice. I would totally recommend it.
I wouldn’t recommend this rental place for future use I’ll use the Greensboro office or a different company all together. Got my rental truck and it was filthy covered in bird poop including the windshield so I went to use the trucks windshield wiper fluid to clean the window and it was out to fluid. I asked the guy for fluid hoping they’d have a jug in back and he told me to go to NTB that they have an account there but if you’ve ever dealt with those people no thanks! So I had him spray off the windshield with the pressure washer and went on with my day. Also tried switching cars later on and that was a hassle too. Unfortunate because we just had such an amazing experience with Enterprise at the San Juan Puerto Rico airport. Felt like 2 different companies!
I had never rented a car before but was in a head on collision so I needed a car. They picked me up from my home and took me to their business to fill out the paperwork. The young lady (I forgot to get her name) who helped me was WONDERFUL! Should I ever need to rent a car again, I will never go anywhere else!
The whole process went very smoothly. I had no troubles at all; they even upgraded my car for free when I got there. Everyone was friendly, and I couldnt have asked for a better experience.

Will definitely use them again.I have used Enterprise many times since my previous review. Each time was like the first. Then........ On June 12 thru 14 2020, I needed a car for a weekend trip out of State. I went to our local Enterprise to pick up the car which I had reserved. The person who helped me was very nice. We were getting an SUV. It was very clean on the outside. After the customary walk around I noticed all the windows were open. The temperature was very warm that day. I thought nothing of it. The engine was running and the AC was on. Signed the necessary things and left.We were leaving later that evening on our trip. We parked the car while we were getting things ready to go. The car heated up in the sun. When we opened it up it had a very strong odor of cigar smoke. It was after the store was closed. So we couldnt contact them. We needed to be on the road. So we sprayed some air freshener inside and left for our trip.When I returned the car on Monday the 15th I was asked if the car did alright and if I was satisfied with the ride. I told the person I was returning the car to that I had no problems with the ride. The car did fine. I did tell him about the odor. He proceeded to tell me that all he smelled was the cleaning products they used to clean the car. He said it didnt smell like smoke to him. Then rudely said, was I satisfied with the ride. Again I said the car was alright, I was only making him aware of the smell. He walked away and said have a nice day.My reason for making him aware was my wife has a severe sensitivity to cigarette and cigar smoke. We started our trip with her having a terrible headache and I paid for her discomfort. I thought Enterprise had a strict no smoking policy.
Wouldnt rent a car to me bc of a ex boyfriend I dated that had rented from them.
I rented a pickup truck days in advance and when I arrived there were no pick up trucks available. The customer in front of me had the same issue and informed me that every time hes tried to rent a truck at the Asheboro location, theyve never had it.There was zero concern from the person checking me out. People dont just rent a truck and are ok with taking a car. I was told that he would check and I could come back in 3-4 hours. Ruined my entire weekend.Not good.

Ive used the Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Asheboro, NC many times over the last two years. They know me by name and always go above and beyond to make my transactions convenient and efficient. Im always greeted with a smile, and am typically in and out in less than 20 minutes. Keep up the great work!
The only reason he comes to this location is because it the only one around, if you have other choice do not use this location, they are inefficient, slow, they have awful cars and they do not care for customers. We have no other choice cause its the only one within 20 miles, my husband rents for weeks and month at a time because of his work. Dont even bother complaining to corporate cause they dont care.
Made reservations in advance. Got email reminder about my confirmed reservation. Get there on time to pick up my rental, only to be told they did not have my car. Was offered a cargo van...for the same price, as if they were doing me a favor. Very disappointed. This is the one real rental car facility in Asheboro. They did not even have the courtesy to call me ahead of time to tell me, so I could have made other provisions. Or - why wasnt another vehicle brought in from another Enterprise location? Thats just bad business.
Asheboro Enterprise is an absolutely great Enterprise site to work with. They are always customer friendly, willing to go the extra mile and the staff is great. Cars are provided asap, clean and with a smile. The only thing they need is another Enterprise worker. I have been to some Enterprise sites that have 5 cars in the parking lot and 4-5 staff, with no business. But, Asheboro Enterprise is always busy, rotates in and out many cars and has two staff members other than car cleaning and maintenance staff. What is up with that? Meredith and David are wonderful but they are stretched so much. I hope we do not lose them like with lost Eric and Ashley!!!

They will take ur money and say u didnt pay, I got my bank info to them and it shows were they did get paid and they say they didnt . and they never gave my deposit back, have any one ever been told it was a gost payment thats what Brian said there. I never had the problem from in the past 5 years .

The Nisan Versa gets great gas mileage. I had the bare bones model. It rode well but swayed on the highway at high speed but I expected that. All told I have rented from Enterprise for years and will continue to do so.
I put in a reservation over a week ago for an SUV. I went to enterprise at the time listed on my reservation and they didnt have my car. They ask me to come back 2 hours later and tried to put me in a mini-cooper. I cancelled my reservation.
We bought tickets to Green Day in concert in Raleigh on Sept. 1. Needed a van for all of us to ride together. Had a great rental experience. Van was clean and ready. We couldnt have asked for a nicer van. Will be renting from them again.

I have tried to contact them and I get put on hold for 10 minutes or more for just trying to make a reservation. I’ve called nonstop for the past two weeks and can hardly get someone to answer to phone. I have called the 15 times throughout the day today with no answer.
I called 6 different times and waited an average of 18 minutes before someone would answer the phone. On two occasions I hung up after 20 minutes because no one ever answered the phone. I will NEVER rent from these people again. Enterprise should listen to their OWN message while you are on hold and treat their customers like family. Id hate to be members of their family. Pathetic! Ill rent a horse and buggy before calling Enterprise Asheboro.

As always, Enterprise is one of the best deals in car rental, The Asheboro, NC location came through for me when an unexpected issue with my own car halted my travel to Maryland on the Friday afternoon of Memorial Day weekend.The reason I gave them 3 stars on this occasion (rather than the normal 4-5 stars) was due to an issue with the rental insurance. The person I rented the car from failed to verbally inform me of the high cost of the insurance. I was partially at fault as I never read that part of the contract prior to signing, not thinking it would be that much and being stressed out from a 10 hour work day and the condition of my own car.The insurance was a ridiculous $27 per day addition, nearly doubling the price of my daily rental!!! (and that did not include another $13.74/day liability)This is a poor way to gouge your clients for extra income! Even full coverage should only be a few dollars per day! Do the math with your own policy!Needless to say, I will always read this section prior to renting and I am still a fan of Enterprise, although not at the level prior to this event.
I love it because they were willing to help my school by lowering their price so we could afford to go on field trips. Without them my class wouldnt have been able to go on as many field trips. Thanks!
Very poor service. It was Friday 5:40pm and I was 2 minutes away from the location when they called me to let me know that they didn’t have the car that I had reserved two days prior to my trip or any other cars for me to choose from. They said for me to return or call back the next business day, which they knew I needed the car that same day (Friday) so I I had to cancel my trip because they didn’t have any car and when they called me there wasn’t any other car rental place opened in town. . Very frustrated! I believe they could had called me earlier to let me know the situation so I could rented some where else.
Nick and Kevin very unprofessional, took them 3 weeks to send me my refund on my deposit. Wasnt even told that I wasnt being sent I had to call the store and see if it was going to I personally think they tried to keep it. Never going there again.

Didnt give me at all what I was supposed to get, waited an hour to get it, the guy told me a fake rule about why he had to give someone else the car they were going to give me originally. Now Im stuck paying for gas for a mini van on my road trip or stuck waiting another hour for MAYBE a smaller vehicle.

I was shocked how easy it was to rent a car with Enterprise this was my first time renting one too all I had to have was car ins the deposit and a utility bill and you on your way now you can have a deposit with a money order not just a credit card because most people dont have credit cards and I appreciated that

The Asheboro and Tampa Airport staff were great however the Florence Airport in South Carolina staff was the most unprofession. They had me wait for 2 hours to switch cars and at the end of the two hours told I couldnt get a car and that they didnt told me to wait which was a lie.
I will never go back to Enterprise until they have a decent crew. How you reserve a car months head of time and when you get there they closed. They did this same thing to my mother. The people that are there are not professional about any situation. Asheboro Enterprise hasnt been right,since they moved from the other location.

One of their rentals damaged my vehicle. The driver took fault and the police came and issued a report giving their driver fault.They are super slow to respond and you really have to stay on top of them. I have had to pay the damages out of pocket($4,000.00+) and they are not helping at all. I guess you need to get a lawyer if they do any damages to you car

Everytime I make a reservation they never have cars the car I reserved they never have when I ask for a pickup its always hours late and when I call to check on my car I get put on hold for 30 min then call back no answer just get put right on hold
