John at Neptune Society, Denver was an invaluable help. He calmly and kindly assisted us with every step starting the very evening my mother unexpectedly passed away. His caring demeanor and his extensive knowledge was reassuring during a very difficult time. John was always available and I never felt lost or overwhelmed. I’m sure he must have had other families to help but I always felt we were a first priority.

Overall John Moody at Neptune Society was extremely helpful, considerate, and kind. He gave us accurate information, their customer care was very much appreciated during one of the most difficult times of our lives. Neptune was amazing from setting up the plan to the passing of my mother and all the assistance with cremation process. My wife found this place for me. My father is sick and we need to get cremation arrangements in order. Mark Lane came to our house and did a wonderful job explaining the process also the plans and their prices. Honestly this was easier than I thought it would be.

Their manager, John Moody, went above and beyond our expectations in the handling of my Dads cremation and subsequent resting place at Fort Logan National cemetery. Choosing to pre-arrange our cremations with the Neptune Society is one of the best decisions made by my mom and myself for the certainties that occur in life. When you lose a loved one, the accompanying responsibilities to arrange for gathering of their body, preparations for cremation, and documents to be filled out can be overwhelming at a time when one is already grief stricken. My father paid for a Neptune Society cremation service many years ago. His advance preparation for his death, combined with the care and guidance received from Todd Putnam and his colleagues at Neptune Society, Arvada really helped me through what is a difficult time. From the start, Todd walked me through the process and was extra caring when I asked that my last letter to my father be with him at time of cremation. I was touched that he understood it was the only part of me that could be with my dad when he died in the hospital from Covid19. So, he made sure the letter was there when he picked up my dad and assured me it stayed with him when cremated. Given my father was a veteran, Todd also helped me with the burial flag and death certificates. I am very grateful my father had the foresight to plan ahead by purchasing a Neptune Society cremation/burial service plan. I am also very grateful for Todd Putnam and his colleagues who have a heart and spirit for helping people tend to the last thing they could do for their loved one(s). Not everyone can do what they do with caring, compassion, nurturing and patience. Again, I am very grateful to Todd and Neptune Society. The experience has me considering purchasing a plan for my husband, myself and my mother. I have also told our children to consider this service.

My mother passed away Christmas Eve, and I contacted Todd at Neptune the day after Christmas. He was so supportive in meeting with us and getting arrangements done in a timely manner even with the holidays and closures related to them. He was so pleasant to talk to, and any questions I had were answered right away. I appreciated his gentleness during a time filled with such emotion. Also thankful my mom took the time to pre arrange with Neptune-what a gift.

With so many things that need to be taken care of at a time like this, the Neptune Society was right there to make sure that everything necessary for a cremation was handled properly and efficiently in a compassionate and caring manner.

My mother had a prepaid plan with Neptune Society-Arvada and she passed away two weeks ago on a Sunday morning. Neptune did pick up her body promptly when called and took her to the Crown Hill Cemetery Care Center.My younger brother and I were out of town and arrived back here that afternoon. My brother who was here at the time of death had been assured by Neptune that we would be able to view mom’s body when we got back in town. However, when we contacted Neptune, we were told that the soonest we could see her would be later on Tuesday afternoon and there would be a charge of $325.00. Apparently, they need to have a representative available (and I was unable to arrange it directly through Crown Hill although the Care Center is open 8-5, seven days a week). I told Alejandro that this seemed inconsiderate and was unacceptable to me, I didn’t want to see her two days later. I don’t care about them “fixing her hair” or about their “protocol”. I just wanted to hold my mom’s hand one last time and do it before her body had been laying there for two more days! For $325.00 they should always have someone available to reasonably accommodate a grieving family. Despite our pleading, they would not make any attempt to expedite this for us.My advice would be to wait on moving your loved one’s body until all family members have had a chance to see them and say their final goodbyes. And when you have your meeting for the final paperwork/arrangements with the Neptune representative (salesman) to be prepared for their sales pitch (additional memorial items, upgraded urns, prepaid plans for you and yours, etc.). Overall, Neptune fulfilled the contract – but without caring or compassion and my interactions with everyone there was frustrating and annoying.

Mark Lane did an excellent service to us by taking his time and focusing on our needs. His manner was relaxed and reassuring. This warmness gave us the courage to ask the hard questions and come up with some great solutions. We left with a sense of peace that we had taken a tremendous load off our childrens shoulders. Todd, made my daughter and I welcome and at ease. We had a good visit and they transferred my husbands ashes out of our sight and assured me they were his ashes. I have heard horror stories about that. He is good at what he does.

The Neptune Society - Denver was the brightest spot in very difficult time. The services they provided were a godsend and took so much stress off my shoulders. I knew my husband was in the best of hands and everything was done with professionalism, care and compassion. I already have my policy with them to save my family from the million things that have to happen because the Neptune Society does them all.Having been my fathers executor, I can truly say that my experience with Neptune Society was far superior to what I had to go through with him. This is a gift you give your family.

My dad always like to plan & be organized. Preparing for his & my moms passing was no exception. He was in hospice during his last days, and although we were prepared, it was still a difficult situation.I called Neptune after he passed & cant say enough about how supportive & kind they were during this time; something you really need during such an emotional time. They came to my parents home, where dad passed, and were kind enough to pull into their garage. This gave us the privacy that we needed from understandably curious neighbors. They also gave us each time to say goodbye. We didnt feel rushed, and while we knew the next steps, they took the time to re-explain things in a calm & gentle tone.Although my mom is still with us, I know when the time comes, they will be there when we need them. I appreciated their support & guidance and highly recommend them.

Neptune Society was extremely comforting and professional. Our family was very pleased with the arrangements and communication, as my dads remains were shipped to Chicago for his funeral. Even the follow up afterwards was very nice.

Confused after reading some comments. I have had Neptune Society Creamation policy for 13 years or more. The first few years I received an interest statement every year for tax purposes.My brother and sister in law also had Neptune policies since about 2006 . Both individuals have passed away 2011 and 2015 . Neptune provided very nice beautifully crafted oak boxes for family to receive their loved ones. The family members were very impressed with service of Neptune Society professional representaves who were neat uniformed gentlemen that came to the home on each sad occasion and treated the situation with highest respect and dignity.I was hoping these services were still Neptunes policies and services my family could expect and would experience on my demise.Have things changed in the past 5 years? I dont want anything to be a hassle or discomfort for my children. They live out of state, my only family, and I want to be assured everything will go smoothly when the time comes and they have to come to Colorado.

Ive had 3 family members use Neptune Society. 2 in California and 1 in Phoenix. We have had great service from the Neptune Society. I would NEVER use a funeral home again. I made one phone call and that was it. We never had a salesman try to upsell us anything after the fact and we didnt have any surprise charges. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants cremation!

I cant say enough great things about this company. Ive used a funeral home in the past and other societys here in Denver and no other company can come close to the service Neptune Society provides. After experiencing what Neptune has to offer I have told many friends and family members about them and they have also used them for pre planning their cremations as well.

They are skirting Colorado Dept of Insurance rules by having you take delivery of the urn before you die and need it. The reason for that is they dont want to have to put the funds for the urn in the Trust account or Insurance policy. If you take the urn ahead of your death they can then treat those funds as profit now. Instead of waiting for you to pass before being able spending it. If I sold you a Pre-Arranged Funeral Plan and then asked if you wanted me to strap the casket to the top of your car or have it dropped off at your house... wouldnt you find that odd? Buyer Beware.

They have shown more customer service integrity than most companies. Thank you.

Harassment!!!! For over 8 years I have asked them to take me off of their call list, I have blocked different numbers and I still get calls from them. NO IM NOT INTERESTED, I NEVER WANT TO HEAR FROM NEPTUNE SOCIETY! STOP CALLING. YES, THEY CALLED AGAIN TODAY. THIS TIME I WAS NOT NICE! F OFF!!!

Told it will take TWO WEEKS before we will get the ashes for a funeral. They werent my choice for this snd never will be!
