I attended a service recently and noticed how careful, respectful, courteous, mindful and caring the staff were with the family but also those of us there to support. The pastor who gave the eulogy was down to earth, wise in his words and pleasant (if that makes sense considering) to listen to. He seemed to speak giving us all comfort in saying our good-byes. I dont want any loss but should it happen, I believe I would come here or recommend this location for funeral services.
We recently attended a funeral here and while we didn’t do any of the actual planning I was impressed with how smoothly everything ran. The picture show the family provided was on a continuous loop during the viewing and shown again during the funeral. The staff was all very professional and welcoming. The food was delicious (not sure if that was provided by the funeral home or catered by the family). You could tell a lot of caring thought goes into making the family feel welcome and supported during a very difficult time.
I recently lost a special person to me, knowing this day was coming. I work as a videographer/photographer, and built a project for his celebration of life, which was emotionally taxing on several levels. All I can say is that working with Amy and Suzanne was simple, expedient, and comforting on every level. Thank you so much, you are amazing folks.
We used Horan & McConaty in May for my nephews service and everyone went above and beyond to help and accommodate us. I seen many of the staff check on my sister and her husband during the service. They are very compassionate and caring people. They made such a tragic and difficult experience just a little easier to cope with.
I could not be more pleased than I am with the service and care Horan and McConaty provided for our family. My first contact was a pre-planning appointment for my aging mother. There wasnt a question I had that they couldnt answer. And, as is their business, they were able to advise and guide me in the matters I hadnt thought of asking. When my mother did pass I was comforted by the support Horan and McConaty gave. She died at home and the gentlemen that came to pick her up were kind, deferential, and very professional. I wanted to dress her and there was a lovely woman who helped me. I cant say enough about how wonderful the Arvada location staff are. From the preparation to the viewing and beyond I have been made comfortable in the knowledge that whatever I needed, that was in their power to assist with, would be done.I confident, without a doubt, in my giving a full, positive recommendation for Horan and McConaty.
These folks made a hard time a lot more bearable. Friends and family have expressed how impressed they were with the way things were handled. I am grateful to everyone there.
The high rating is due to Stephanie’s assistance during a really awful time.I lost my husband unexpectedly while vising family in Colorado – we’re from Texas. She guided us through every step of the way. Including having my husband touched up a little – he really didn’t look like himself. No fault of your facility. But she did step in and setup the room the way we described and continued to help while we tweaked it a little. She and another co-worker was there dealing with things I hadn’t even thought of – just continually guiding us through the enter 3 hours we were there (1 hour before everyone arrived and 2 hours after). We visited 2 other facilities before walking into yours on 80th Avenue in Arvada, CO. The facility itself was clean, bright and soothing; Stephanie was icing on the cake.
