Made an appointment online and arrived early but still didn’t get seated/barely acknowledge for 20 minutes. My nails looked great afterwards but they didn’t go all the way down to the cuticle for some reason and they are chipped already after a week despite being gel. Disappointed.

I decided to come here since it’s so close to where I live to get my acrylic nails removed and when I entered they were very unprofessional. One of the employees were asleep in the pedicure chair and the lady that was supposed to do my nails rushed me. She began by trying to pry off my acrylic nail rather than soaking it off like I asked her to, her reasoning to not do it the right way was because “it will take too long”. I explained that it was hurting the way she tried prying the acrylic nail off my real nail and that she’ll damage my real nail and she again said she has an appointment in an hour and it’ll take too long to soak it. I would never come back here again, they are constantly trying to cut corners and take the easy and cheap way out. They clearly do not care about the health of your nails or the cleanliness of the tools being used. Do not waste your time here.

Ghetto! Got dip powder nails with tips and they broke after 3 days, I didn’t even want them I wanted acrylics but the guy did them because I was already in the salon for 3 hours, overcharged for my nails and toes to look a mess. Never going there again! Got my services done on Friday, it’s Sunday

I usually call ahead to check how busy they are so I know I wont be waiting too long. They are super efficient but still do a great job!

I hate leaving bad reviews to a great staff. I was serviced immediately upon arrival with an online appointment. I was serviced by Andy for an acrylic fill with gel polish. He used the brush from a white nail polish, causing the color to be grey-ish instead of black like I wanted. He did a line design instead of the picture I showed him, clearly FRENCH TIPS. It was not a clean surface before he put polish, causing the grainy texture and fuzz underneath (see 2/4 picture). I experienced chipping on the SECOND day, and then the entire polish came off in one clean piece... I am left with naked acrylic nails on the THIRD day! I paid over $200 for naked nails. I am shocked, this has never happened before.

Today they did a VERY RUSHED job. I will only get a quick polish change from them from now on. You have to bring cash if you want to tip or you can tip them through cash app or vemo. For paying these prices their should be a way to tip on a card. It is 2021. Please update your system. I’d rather drive 20 minutes out to get great customer service ams quality. But they do a great polish change.

I received a house pedicure from KC, which he was super nice and friendly.I wanted a toe design, and he did not know how to do it, so KC asked the lady (not sure of her name) to assist. She was unable to free-hand it and requested a picture. Unfortunately, I did not have one, and I am accustomed to nail salons just knowing how to design freely. Moreover, everything we found online was just too busy for me. She tried, but I was not too fond of the outcome. I am sure she felt terrible, and I then felt awkward because I had to let her know that I was not too fond of it. After, she just left me there and attended to her next appointment without offering my shoes/things to the dry station. Nor did she offer me the disposable flippers for me to walk in. Very unprofessional.So long story short, KC was such a doll and done everything he could do to assist, but the manager didn’t offer any accommodation for me being there for 2hrs, and I had to come back to get them re-painted because the nail polish color wasn’t good and it showed. Nothing was offered. I was hoping they offered gel due to the inconvenience dealing with time, but nope. I was shocked, so sadly won’t be going again.I wasn’t looking for a handout, but it is just the principle, at least show that you care.

I got my nails done here and I have never been to another nail place that was more welcoming then this one.was very patient and was a perfectionist. I will be coming back!

Scheduled an appointment a week in advance for 3 people. Showed up 5 minutes early and they had no knowledge of our reservation and said they couldn’t fit us in for 45+ minutes. I went back in my call history to show the employee the exact day/time I called to schedule the appointment and she just walked away. Literally just walked away - didn’t say anything, just went back to what she was doing. Incredibly rude and unprofessional. Note: there were just 2 other customers in there

My gel paint chip so I went back they fixed it and my gel paint chip the next day!lol my nails cost 120 and uneven its just not worth it,! Just twoo many mistakes to post it was my third time and I tried because of convience but nooo noo noo

I got a full acrylic set I loved my nails when I first got them done, I was so obsessed with the outcome! I did feel that the acrylic wasnt all the way to my cutilce but I looked past that because they looked so good.10 days later....3 of my nails are lifting, with one nail lifting so much that it came off. Mind you I havent done anything, no hard work, hard labor so Im just confused. I get my nails done regularly where I can last 3 weeks with them still looking new but 10 days later it doesnt look good and Im just confused? This never happens to me so early, so it kind of sucks. They just look really horrible and the fact that three nails are loose, and one came off is just not a good thing.

Very clean nail salon that is reasonably priced. I only had regular polish out on and it lasted longer than most gel polish I’ve had in the past.

This nail salon is open for business during the pandemic with limited appointments and plexiglass dividers between clients and technicians. I’ve been coming here for years and they have always done a great job!

I normally dont write reviews but my experience with your service was pretty bad. I made an appointment the day before and arrived on time but you guys told me to come back in an hour since the nail tech whos supposed to do the acrylic nails changed the schedule. (If I heard that right cause you guys werent even bothered to come to the front desk and respond to me. The old lady (I guess shes the owner) was responding to me in the distance while shes doing other customers nail). I should have received a message or any notice of schedule change prior to my appointment so I dont have to come back in an hour again. But instead of any apologies, your excuse was you had other customers coming in so didnt have time to let me know lol it was very unprofessional. I was excited to get my nails done here but I had to cancel my appointment and get my nails done somewhere else. I didnt want to get services from people who dont value customers time and I wont. There are plenty of other nail salons nearby that will do the same job.

Beware of this spot. They have extremely poor customer service and the hot water heater has been out for weeks. No hot water for pedicures.

She always does an excellent job. She is fun to talk to and the time always flies by. Im definitely coming back here! I think she prefers appointments, as shes the only one that works there.

Honestly, if I could give no stars I would. I made an appointment for dip powder. My appointment was at 4:45. When I walked in the lady asked me what was my service was, so I told her. They had me wait almost an hour before telling me there was a mix up and no one there could do dip powder. She asked if I could come back tomorrow, as if they couldn’t tell me that right when I came ... instead of watching me wait for almost an hour. You should always value people’s time. Horrible, don’t waste your time or money.

Nice wax service but they didnt know about the Groupon. Very communicative during the service though. No option to tip with card. Honestly if it was closer Id go again but not sure if worth the trip.

First time there, visiting from Chicago. Very friendly staff, very clean and great work. I had a regular pedicure and gel manicure. I was able to book an appointment time online (super convenient) and had no wait time on a Friday afternoon. The services were quick but not rushed. My only comment would be that they should accept credit card tips! Will visit again when Im back in DC.

Was seen quickly as a walk in late in the day. Very nice job on my gel polish. Im from out of town and expected a little more in the way of a lotion massage at the end, but maybe thats not common for this area. Im not a fan of using the coarse file on top of my nails to get the previous polish off and my manicurist hardly talked to me.. thats the reason for 4 rather than 5 stars. The price was quite reasonable. The salon was very clean, nicely decorated and there was a TV with closed captioning visible which was nice since no one talked to me.

I went in last week to get acrylic nails and I was told no one is there to do acrylic, I asked will they be able to do it tomorrow and I was told that they’re not sure. Fast forward a week, I went in to remove acrylic that I got somewhere else and I was told that there was no one that is able to do it. What exactly can they do there as a nail shop? I don’t understand constantly turning away business. I live next door and I am disappointed that I will never go back there. I don’t recommend.

This place looks very clean and friendly staff. I did a gel manicure love it. The only reason I didnt give the a 5 star review is because I waited 45 mins ( so make an appointment) second reason is because you need to tip.cash.I will definitely be back.

When you come here don’t bother leaving a tip. They do not tip their food delivery drivers even when they order over $100 worth of food and it takes two trips to retrieve their order. Because they don’t tip they clearly don’t expect tips themselves. #notipsduringapandemic #somekindadifferent

I am pretty picky about pedicures and just moved into the neighborhood and found this place. They do a great job here. The polish always stays on for weeks and weeks and they are very friendly.

I love Michael! He gets 5 stars!But don’t go by their website. It says 9pm, but I’ve called for an appt for 745 pm and they refused to take me even as consistent customer that tips well. The business gets 3 stars.

This salon is very conveniently located and has a really clean and comfortable atmosphere. I got a full set sns dipping powder with Crystal, and I could not be happier with the results! She took her time to make sure that each nail was perfect and helped me pick a color that went well with my skin tone. I would absolutely recommend visiting this salon, and be sure to ask for Crystal - you won’t be disappointed.

Love this place! Nails were done perfectly. Technicians are professional and friendly. This isnt one of those places where they tell you what you want. Though if you ask for their opinion, theyll give you a good one. Definitely reccomend this shop! And theyre open late.

I love the location of this salon and my nail technician Crystal. Crystal is always helpful getting me in based on my schedule. I really appreciate the quality of her work...and I always get compliments on my nails! I have also had a couple of the other techs for pedicures and their work has been good.

This place was great! Flew in early for a conference outside the city and needed my gel nails redone as I had chipped a few. The shop was able to take me right away and had an excellent selection of gel colors. I did a gel manicure and the girl did an excellent job on my cuticals, shaping and gel. She noticed that the color I picked was shimmery and mentioned it before we got started as that was not the look I was going for. She double checked how I liked the shape of the nails and how ma y coats for desired darkness...I cant remember her name! She was excellent, young, bright reddish hair...excellent. place was clean and very nice inside. Ill be going back my next trip out

The ladies and gents here have watched her grow-up and engage her like an adult.The folks also accommodate her brother and I while we wait. This is a FULL service shop!Brava!September 2015They are great with my daughter, who happens to be four years old, and has many nail emergencies.Reasonably priced with great service. They are one of the first salons I have found that I can say are truly kid friendly.

I really wanted to love this place because it’s close to where I live and I’d heard good things, but I was disappointed. The gel manicure started chipping two days after I got it done and now, 5 days later is almost completely gone. The girl was nice and pleasant, but compared to another place in Crystal City I visited (where the manicure lasted almost 3 weeks) this place wasn’t good at all and it was a lot more expensive.

Young girl at front desk told us it would be a 10 minute wait for two pedicures. After waiting 20 minutes, it appeared that no one would be available for any services for a while. I asked her how much longer she thought it might take, and she said she thought it would still be a while. She didn’t update us at any point during our wait; just let us sit there waiting. We’d still be sitting there if I hadn’t asked. Terrible service. What is the point of having someone at your front desk if they don’t keep customers informed? Much better nail salons within walking distance of this one.

Great service. Everyone was nice. Only thing is is online when I scheduled the appointment for the acrylic full set it said it would be $38 it was actually $58. So be wearying their website isn’t correct.

Got my nails done today because the reviews are decent and my hair stylist is nearby. I made an appointment with Crystal but I’m pretty sure that is not who did my nails. Whoever did kept taking the foil off my nails every few seconds, making it take much longer than it should have to remove my old gel. Then did a terrible job, two of my nail beds bled and the tips of my nails are ragged. Already a chip on one, definitely not going back. Also they charged me $40, $10 more than the website said when I booked.

I frequently get gel manicures and I can without a doubt tell you that W Nails used old nail polish with liquid filler. I got my nails done less than 3 days ago and most of my OPI gel nail polish is already gone. What a scam of a business. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Decent pedi. Horrible manicure. I came to the store with a certain idea in mind and even asked if they are able to do it before they got started. In reality they weren’t able to do it and I ended up leaving with something I didn’t like at all. And on top of everything two nails came off three days later.If you don’t know how to do something, don’t say yes just to get the money. That’s messed up. Tempted to demand my money back...

I like this place! They remodeled last year and got new pedicure chairs! The best! My favorite is the 60 minute pedicure. Between the chair and the nail technician = bliss!

I booked an appointment online. When I walked they weren’t very busy yet everyone had an attitude. A the gel colors were minimal would say and not many were Spring colors. For me I’m not spending any money in a place where I’m not greeted, and when I ask about additions to my service before being seated you’re disrespectful and rude. Needless I wasted money paying for parking for a service I didn’t get.

This salon is in a very comfortable location amidst luxury and popular apartments on 15 street south Fern street. Its clean and has a huge menu. There is one big but in this place. One nobody speaks English or if they do a little and two nobody cares whether you actually use their services or not. My attempts to make an appointment and keep time resulted one time in making an appointment and waiting for the nail technician to show up, second appointment, and they are morning one, by 10 am result in nobody in particular is available.I live in a building right adjacent to their location and frankly on arrival just a few months ago asked a couple of neighbors about the place. Nobody used them, some adviced where to go. Now I understand why!

I tried going back a few times to see if the service changed with a different nail stylist. It got a little better but I was still disappointed my gel mani never lasted 2 weeks.

The technician was watching the tv behind her most of my service which probably explains why she didnt do a very good job. Gel nails peeled off the next day, likely because she didnt pre treat them, so it was a complete waste of $30.
