I went to Bliss for a spa pedicure a few days ago (after not having been to a nail salon or spa in the DC area since before the pandemic). Their check-in process was organized, everything was clean, and they had a huge selection of nail color options. The pedicure itself was one of the best I have ever had. Cuticle cutting was careful and not at all painful. The calf and foot massage was deep and relaxing. The scrub, dead skin/callus removal, and hot towel were all on point. Overall, a totally amazing pedicure.

Tim did a great job and was so pleasant to chat with. We will be coming back!!

Tyler was very professional and gentle in the toes. We got the deluxe pedicure. It include wax dip and foot massage. The foot and leg massage were excellent. If you have the time to indulge in over an hour of pampering please see Tyler @Bliss. Hes available every weekend.

Terrible pedicure. Wouldn’t go here again. The guy who did my pedicure added 3 heavy coats of nail polish. On top of that the polish bubbled after it “dried.” Not to mention that social distancing does not exist in this salon. It was packed like sardines.

I got a simple classic mani and pedi and my nails are 20 different shapes. I asked for one of my nails to be fixed while I was getting my manicure because it wasn’t even remotely round and I was ignored me three times.

If almond shaped nails are your thing, I highly recommend Andrew. He does my ideal almond shape perfectly. I also got SNS pink and white ombre and he helped me pick my ideal pink color.

My first time doing powder dip nails and I’m in love with the result! Nina was so gentle and professional. She really did pay attention to the details, and try making them look even, same shape, and length for both hands. I will definitely go back here. The salon was clean, everyone was so nice and polite. Highly recommended!

I wanted to love this place so much, it been much harder to find a salon that does dip nails here than I imagined! Pros: Very clean, everyone was very polite, easy to make an appointment online, and pricing is similar to other salons. I read lots of great reviews so I was excited. I got a pedicure and a dip manicure. Cons: He didn’t clean under the sides of my toe nails, I’m prone to ingrowns so it surprised me that he didn’t even check. He also didn’t shave callouses, They aren’t that bad so not the end of the world but when I got home it’s like there were little rough patches on the bottom of my foot. The biggest disappointment was the quality of my nails. They look nice at first glance but looking closer they are grainy and are not smooth when you touch them and the shapes aren’t all the same.

Terrible experience never coming back again. I requested a Tropical SPA pedicure, the cost of it was $50 dollars. The nail tech rushed and file my skin so hard that it left a scratch and every time she added the hot towels it burn terribly, to the point that it burn for two consecutive days. Also, When I was asked for the tip she requested it to be paid via Venmo or Cash, it really disappointed me & yes I left a $10 dollar tip but never coming back again.

We had an appointment for a certain but were not attended to until at least 45 minutes later. By the time they got to us it was 15 minutes before close and the techs were rushing through us. They were very rude and irritated with us even though it was their fault we were there so late. When trying to ask them to fix something, we were met with ignorance and rude responses. My first and last time coming here. Save your money.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE Ive ever encountered!!!I made an appointment online and called right after to change the appointment to same day. When I called to changed the day, I told the lady who answered the phone that I was available anytime after 4pm. She told me to come in at 4:30pm.They made me wait 45 min and let a group of four who had an appointment 15 min after me go ahead of me!!They clearly prioritize their white customers. I even noticed an employee clean their chairs and not mine!After confronting the manager, she told me they were behind and to wait a little longer. I was frustrated and stated that if they were running behind to let their customers know rather than letting us wait for a long time I could went to another nail salon. All she offered me was to cancel my appointment or wait another 10 min.If they were running behind the least that couldve been done was call their customers to let them know. I waited a total of 1hr without any form of compensation or discount. I had to pay for parking twice because of them. Do not come here, they are not considerate of your time and are rude!

Dont waste your money or your time with this place. They book anyone who walks in regardless of existing reservations. Place was absolutely packed so you have to wear a mask. Regardless of COVID, booked a reservation for two mani/pedis (gel/shellac manicure) at 5:30 PM on Friday, July 9th; only one tech was ready on time, barely gave us any time to choose polish, she fills up two foot baths for us and my friend starts while I am left waiting. By the time my friend was done, we were over 30 MINUTES apart. I just told her not to wait for me and go home since it was an absolute zoo in there.The tech I ended up getting was apathetic at best. I found the whole treatment, both feet and hands, rough and lazy. Tech clipped my cuticles too short so my skin peeled up and I pulled back my hand at one point because she was so rough. Worst of all, and the only reason any of the above matters, my gel manicure started peeling up only a week and a half later. Its July 26th now and 5 of my nails are ripped up. Theres nothing I loathe more than paying 67$ to be ripping out my own hair when I finger comb. On the way out, the cash register broke and we had to pay via Venmo - literally waited in line to pay thats how overbooked they were.Careless, rough, loud, and overbooked. If youre looking for some actual R&R - go somewhere else.

It was good, new Nail Techs they don’t speak English to clients, and no quality work, yesterday they just put my hands on the nail polish remover and I sat for 30 minutes she left working on another client. Besides they only accept cash as tips, can’t add to the bill!!! Besides kind of force to use Cash apps because they like it. So controlling!!!

Im giving this 5 star review purely based on Trams professionalism and technique. I got a pedicure and SNS and her attention to detail was outstanding. She also helped me find the perfect shade of pink. This lounge itself could use a facelift, but I would definitely return for Tram!

This used to be the only salon I would go to. Id been coming for nearly 2 years, even coming from my home in Maryland for weekend appointments.Over the last three months Ive shown up for my appointments on time or early, only to find the salon has decided to switch nail techs for no apparent reason other than whim, and today after calling to confirm my appointment at 6pm, I arrived was told there were no chairs available and could I please just wait a few minutes.Twenty minutes later and I am still waiting for someone to even suggest at what time I will be seen. Im presently in a neck brace, recovering from surgery, and the best they can offer is that I just stand around and wait?Never again. Im frustrated beyond belief to have to find another nail salon after two years. And doubly so just wasting my time when i could have been home recovering.

They do a great job but struggle with double booking. Last time I went I had to wait close to an hour before being serviced. They lack good communication skills.

Have been going to this location for a year now. I have used all of their nail techs but Nina is my favorite. The price is great, service is wonderful and the staff is always friendly and welcoming.

Long story short if you want to be charged for services you refused, if you don’t mind them taking whatever tip amount they feel like giving themselves on your credit card, and don’t mind driving around aimlessly for parking since they only have 3 actual reserved spaces to accommodate their clients then absolutely visit this awful nail salon! The SNS dip powder manicure was very basic and not only were my nails were not shaped evenly but the tech charged me services I refused twice! She also charged her own tip amount to my credit card so be careful! I’ll continue looking for a better nail salon!

I think it’s a rarity to have a polish change without a pedicure, but I was SO great full. I have very clean and short nails but I had fractured my foot. I hated the idea of going somewhere to pay 35 for a full on pedicure when my feet and nails themselves didn’t need any maintenance, but I wanted to chipped color removed and just a new color painted. I felt like I was asking a lot because they probably make their money off of the loooong foot baths and foot massages and salt (which, even sans fracture boot is something that bores me, I know my feet are soft and my nails are short and everything is clean when I get there). They had no problem just taking off my old polish and painting them with a new color for me.Very nice people and business.

Bliss is my new favorite nail salon in Arlington. I got a gel manicure, regular pedicure and an eyebrow wax. The service was relaxing and very enjoyable. My nails havent chipped at all and its been nearly a week since I was there. I will definitely be coming back!

Have been looking for a salon to frequent and went to Bliss for the first time for a gel manicure--I LOVED it and I will definitely be going back! Tiffanie shaped my nails (first time with almond nails and theres no turning back) and Andrew applied the color and care. The removal of my previous gel mani as well as a paraffin wax dip was included in my manicure, and I am so happy with the results! Tiffanie and Andrew were both so hospitable and were very excited to show off my natural nails to their coworkers! Im so excited to return for my next manicure and get a pedicure too!

They were very professional! It was only my second gentleman’s pedicure. I scheduled an appointment with my girlfriend. They knew to put us together in the private room in the back which I loved because I’m insecure about showing my feet. Our feet look great now before we visit the beach. I would definitely come back here!

This is a lovely salon! Clean, welcoming, lots of polish and dip colors, and staff is knowledgeable about different manicure options, color guidance, etc. I have gotten my nails done by the owner twice and he has excellent attention to detail.

I’ve been here many times after moving to Arlington and I’m always so happy with the results and overall service. Amy and all the other technicians are so lovely and friendly, they’re very sweet and hospitable and make sure you are happy with your results. I 100% recommend this place to anyone! I’ve been to my fair share of nail salons and Bliss Nail Lounge in Arlington, VA is by far THE VERY BEST. The salon is clean and the staff is always professional and very friendly. The staff takes COVID-19 protocols seriously - having customers wash their hands and wear masks. They even have protective barriers in between customers and nail technicians.I typically get my nails done with Win, and she is by far the best of the best. Her attention to detail is impeccable and her finished work is consistently flawless. Amongst everything else, she is so friendly and doesn’t mind spending an extra minute or two suggesting a color for your nails (unlike other nail salons who rush you).I highly recommend this salon (and especially Win) for anyone in the DMV area looking for top quality nail services ALL THE TIME!

Great spot in the city. I dont live in Arlington but work close by and thank goodness I found this place. They have the greatest service ever. Price is reasonable (Cheaper from $3-$5 for every kind of service compare to other salons in the area) I dont have any specific technician to request because Ive tried them all and theyre all wonderful. They take an incredible care of my nails and waxing too. Ive never walked out this salon unhappily. The place has done some new remodelling which is real nice. I love how classy, clean, relaxing the salon is. Good communication and technique skilled technician. They make sure all of my requests are well done and Im always pleased. Tiffanie does a great job with nail designs. Def a place I choose to come every 2 weeks to take care of my nails.

This salon was a godsend find! I’ve been getting my nails done here consistently for over a year, and would cry if I had to go anywhere else. Was my first time to get my nails done at Bliss. But I think I will come back for more services on regular basis! I know there are places where you can pay a bit less but I think its worth it to pay a few bucks more for good quality and pleasant service. I got SNS with nail extension. Tiffany did an excellent job. She treated my hands/nails very gently and made sure that all nails have a same length before cutting the extended parts. I love my coffin nail shape and the wide selection of SNS colors they have!

I have been looking for a new nail salon ever since my favorite tech at Hollywood Nails in Ballston left their establishment. Im pretty picky about nail places b/c even with gel polish, some places dont seem to do enough to keep the polish on longer than a week. I will say Im VERY hard on my nails - Im a nurse and also fidget a LOT with my hands so I know Im hard to please. But Bliss Nail Lounge has not disappointed me!These are my highlights: 1.) The first time I went, OJ did my pedicure and Moon did my gel manicure. My toes were fine for almost four weeks and my gel polish looked great for 2+ weeks! 2.) I went again yesterday and Moon did both my nails and toes and they both look awesome. I really appreciate that she knew to do an extra coat on my manicure b/c the color was still looking a little too sheer for me. 3.) I honestly feel awful when there is a big language barrier at some nail salons. When I cant tell the tech exactly what I want, I cant be mad if I dont get it, right? I cant imagine how that must feel for them too! But I have to say that I have had no problem communicating when Ive been to Bliss. Im not saying that matters for the services they provide, but more so for the client to be able to explain what they want.Such a great experience, Ill definitely be making this my regular place from now on!

I went to Bliss Nail Lounge for the first time and got SNS with tips. This was my first time in my life getting either of these services so I was a little nervous about how it would turn out. I went in without an appointment and Tiffanie squeezed me in that night even though it was supposed to be her night off. Tiffanie did such a good job! My nails are near-perfect and I already scheduled my next appointment with her.

The quality and style of acrylic nails I brought in to have a fill, were ruined by Amy. She never asked anything and proceeded as if she knew what she was doing. Although she didn’t! When I looked! 😢😱🥵 OMGOSH!Then she didn’t know how to do them in the shape I had. And although I rather give the benefit of the doubt that she did tried, I had to go back a week later because not only the acrylic was separating and lifting ( not like she didn’t use that drill enough!) 🥴Iguess I wouldn’t have posted the review if I didn’t have the translator I carry on me. And wouldn’thave known what she was saying to the other nail tech...It’s sad ...Our Time is precious and so is the money we earn. I’ve spend 3 hours here the first time for her to practice on me, paid full price and hear her sad comments. Mediocrity abounds, anyone can do it.All the best Amy! I had SNS on and she took her time to remove the fake tips, and then did exactly what I wanted from a picture I showed her on Pinterest. Bliss nail lounge is a small nail shop from the view of the street but once on the shop its a lovely setting for nail and a pedicure. The salon is very clean with new pedicure chairs very tastefully decorated in a calming beige. Other services are eyelash extensions,waxing and massages. There is a variety of nail services natural nail, nail enhancement. My service of choice has been gel nails and regular pedicure, I especially like the new OPI colors called Cateye which has the appearance of shear streak of light. Ive been quiet happy with the services here and the owner Tiffany. Ive had massages here also and plan to try the other nail services in the future like gel powder nails. Overall I recommend Bliss nails lounge its a very relaxing place for the services stated.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Before today I would have given them a decent review but I will never go back to this salon again after the service today.They are extremely over priced and I would have accepted that If not for the actions of the OWNER today. Their quality is ok, not great as well. Another reason not to go there. Bad service, overpriced, and not great quality.I have been getting dip powder on my nails for over a year. I worked at a company that manufactures all the nail treatments including dip powder, gel polish, nail polish, acrylic powder, etc. so I know good products and applications. Typically dip powder lasts 3-4 weeks on me and never under 2 weeks. I got my nails done at Bliss and within 1 week 3 nails chipped badly! This was a week I wasn’t hard on my nails at all. There was no reason they should have chipped except for bad application. Also in the year plus I’ve been getting dip powder I haven’t chipped more than one nail every so often. I went in after being out of town and told the owner. I thought he agreed to redo them all in a different color but language barrier caused a misunderstanding so he charged me with a 20% discount. He admitted that his technician did a poor job and that she had since been let go because of so many complaints yet still charged me to redo them!!!!!I told him he’d loose my business if he charged me and he still did. Never going back. Be warned they don’t know service. Ps anyone have any recommendations in Clarendon area for nail salons that do dip powder??

Nicks been giving me gel manicures every two weeks for several months now. Im really happy with his attention to detail and the quality of service. Once, a gel delaminated a couple of days after a visit, I came back and he not only fixed that one but replaced a couple others that he found to be loose. He then adjusted the polish so that I havent had that problem since. Again, really happy here!
