When my computer would not start late on Saturday night, Expertise Computers came over after 10 pm and picked up my computer. The owner fixed it my early afternoon on Sunday and also helped with reestablishing internet as that also became a problem. He was the only computer tech support who was willing to help me so late at night. He did a great job of fixing my computer on short notice and caring enough to come out so late on a Saturday night.
DO NOT GO HEREThe only thing stopping me from giving 0 stars is Google and the fact that they delivered my PC to me. I went to this company to have my PC looked at because it was not turning on and I had issues with force restarts and disconnects. Just to LOOK at your device the technician asks for a $300 charge up front. Desperate as I was, I paid it and left my device with him because for $300 it has to be worth it right? The payment was also done in the most unprofessional way possible with the technician taking pictures of my debit card. Wrong, I was then without my device for 2 weeks (for a problem and had to pay $100 for a graphics card that costs $40. THIS IS A SCAM. My problem was not solved as I needed my PC to function as it did before and the only thing I gained was -$400 and a POS graphics card. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.
They overcharge for simple issues. My laptop suddenly wouldnt turn on and we believed the issue to be with the battery - perhaps it needed to have the static discharged, or replaced. I was told that for a battery replacement it would probably only cost about $150 but for other repairs or data recovery it would be closer to $350. After dropping off the laptop, I was told it would cost $299 to start the repairs and that it wasnt likely the battery. So my husband removed the battery and pushed the BIOS button and Ta Da! The laptop is totally fine again. If theyd done a brief basic investigation, they could have seen the battery was most likely the issue, and fixed it. Instead, they lost a customer.
He added WiFi to my son’s PC, and it works flawlessly. I’m extremely impressed with the speed and quality of work. Highly recommend!
Had an issue with my charging port for my Lenovo Thinkpad laptop. The man who works here offered me great advice that helped me figure out what was wrong with it!!
Worked with me on price. Use my computer to run my business and was able to pick it up and fix it all in one day; so no time loss. Hopefully i wouldn’t need him again lol, but if I do i’ll be back!
Cant say enough great things about, Ercan. I contacted him regarding my laptop that was potentially compromised and was able to pick up my laptop in no time and explained to me my options of fixing my computer depending on the situation. He got my laptop back to me within 48 hours and he fixed everything with my computer. I am SO lucky I found him and cannot be happier with his service.
Very expensive for the poor quality of work they provide. I took my Hp laptop to them last year about this time, the screen worked fine it just had a crack and I wanted fix. I paid $360 but screen came with a tape on it. He told me I should keep the tape for a little while. I kept the tape for a year but it just came of last week. The laptop started glitching and screen stopped working. I took it to them to look at it but he said he would give me a discount but wouldnt fix it. He also told me it is electronics I shouldnt expect it to work more than a few months. I am sure anyone would want their computer to last more than a year if they pay $360 to get it fixed. I took it to geek squad yesterday they told me the problem came from the wiring which happed because the screen was not installed properly. They only have 3 month warranty but they give discount for returning customers. I rather pay full price somewhere else than another poor service with them. My advice take it took geek squad it would take a longer time than this, but it would be worth the wait. Because there is no point of fast service, if you have to take it back to be fixed every 6 month.

Seems overpriced. Wanted to charge me over $300 to diagnose and fix a 7 year old computer. He balked at me when I told him it should cost about $100 to fix, which is what I said I was willing to pay, and he told me he wouldnt do it. I took it elsewhere and got it fixed for $120 with free diagnostic.

Refreshingly honest tech could have charged me a great deal for services, but pointed out that my laptop was under warranty. Knowledgeable, polite, great location for Crystal City workers. Hopefully wont need services again, but if I do I will surely go to this establishment.
My computer had died about a month ago but I didnt have time to fix it because I was in the middle of a move. When I finally found time to get it fixed I found Expertise Computers. So I took it in at the end of a work day and was able to pick it up by noon the next day. Everything went very smoothly and the staff was super friendly. I suggest them for anyone that wants quick and friendly service and a fair price for the work.
Ive brought my laptop (Lenovo) to these guys three times in the past 2 years for anything from a malfunctioning keyboard to a complete system cleanup and upgrade, and each time theyve done a great job. Theyre honest, reasonably priced, and theyll give you a loaner if the job will take more than a few hours. I recommend them if youre having computer issues.
This was, by FAR, the worst experience I have ever had at any retail establishment. It was a very short interaction and I was not rude in any way, and it left me extremely offended. I dont normally leave reviews for retail establishments, but this experience stood out so much that I feel the need to tell the story.I went into this store to purchase a power cord. There was a lighted OPEN sign on the door, but the door was locked. I tried to open the door and looked inside, but no one seemed to be working. Shortly thereafter, a gentleman ran out from a back room and opened the door for me. I told him that I was looking for a standard C13 power cord, and he grabbed the cord off the wall and said it was $15. I did not try to haggle at all, but HE then followed up by saying he would give it to me for $10.I handed him my credit card and he ran it, then handed the tablet to me and I chose the no receipt option. I handed the tablet back to him and he said fifteen dollars. I responded with I thought you said ten dollars, and he responded with I have have ten of that. I didnt understand what he meant, so I asked once more if he charged me $15 or $10. He said fifteen, but I have ten of that.Confused and frustrated, I started to leave the store and he said I will give you five back! I said, okay, thanks I guess and I started to open the door to leave. He then shouted at me dont ever come back again! At this point I was so caught off guard that I really didnt know how to respond, so I asked what he said and he reiterated that I could never come back. When I asked why, he said it was because of my attitude.I left with a laugh, but did not say anything else to the man, who was obviously very frustrated with his life and the state of his business. If you are looking for a pleasant and/or remotely normal retail experience, I would urge you to stay far, far away from this establishment.
Expertise Computers repaired my shattered iPhone 4 screen. They are AMAZING... quality service, reasonable price. Highly recommended. They also do ipad and mac repair.

Their website says theyre open at 8am. But they were not open after waiting for 45 minutes. At least one other person was waiting outside their store. Also, if you use Google Maps to get you to their storefront, it will lead you to an apartment building. Their entrance is actually around the corner on 9th st.
I went to Expertise Computers for iPhone repair in Arlington Va. They did it while i waited and charged me a very reasonable price. They also repair mac and pc and tablets. Professional Techs and quick turnaround. I highly recommend this place.
Brought my Toshiba in 9 months ago. It would turn on but nothing would appear on the screen. They cleaned it up (lots of dust inside) and reflowed it. They gave me the heads up that these types of repairs sometimes dont last, so i purposely waited to review. Here we are 9 months later and its still working like new. They also charged a reasonable price and had it ready in a couple days.

I contacted Expertise Computers and explained that my son had spilled some water on the key board. I was told it would be approximately $199 to replace the keyboard. I dropped my computer off at their office. Ercan contacted me and informed me that it would cost $299 to replace the keyboard. When I questioned him about the change in price, he got defensive. I was going to pay the $299, but asked about the warrenty, whether the part was refurbished and cost of part vs. labor. He became even more defensive and belligerent. He said that I could pick up my computer and he would not repair it. I can only surmise that the reason he acted the way he did was that he preys on the uninformed. Now I have to drive 30 minutes to pick my computer up and find someone else. I would not trust him. If he were on the up and up, he would have no problems fielding questions.
Straight forward feedback on problem with empathy on the difficult situation. Told me what I needed to hear rather than what I wanted to hear in a professional and diplomatic manner. Highly recommended

Excellent service. These are real pros. And they are prompt with their repairs and have the computer ready for you on the date promised. For my MacBook Pro have replaced the original hard disc drive with a solid state drive (SSD). Most recently they replaced the DVD player (Im lucky enough to have a MacBook Pro that still has an internal player. Before I brought the laptop in for repair, they ordered the new DVD drive and called me the afternoon they received it and said if I brought the computer in that evening they could have it ready for me by the next morning. And they did!! Fantastic.
