So I had to go here to get a rental because someone hit my car. Big inconvenience, and not the happiest. I was picked up by a gentleman with an east coast accent. He was quick, and actually a cool nice guy. I go to the counter and Tina actually her name is Jimmy, was very accomidating and helpful. I probably wasnt in the best mood, but forgot by the time I left because she was so hospitable and had a great open personality. So I appreciate yall over there!!

I wish I had more stars to give this place. We called several Rent-A-Car places that said they had cars but when we got there they didnt. We got here and Mia was so helpful and they had the cars they said they had. She got us in and out quick and was so helpful and so nice. I have not been a Hertz customer in the past but by gosh I will be now!

Rented a car from this place I was told it was not ready since it needed cleaning, I was offered a small SUV instead which I accepted but found out this one was not really cleaned also since it was just minor cleaning need I did not say nothing since my wife and I was in a hurry figuring it was not such a big deal. I rented the car on Saturday but did not really needed the vehicle until Sunday for a trip from Grand Prairie TX to Houston TX, on the way we noticed the vehicle was driving rough but was not sure why after arriving at the Hotel we stayed in until Monday Morning at which we found the tire completely flat. We were on the phone for almost one hour on hold for roadside assistance so decided to go to a Costco on the corner for assistance finally after the tire was fixed, I was told that that to just replace the tire by the agent. I called the location I rented the vehicle and told them what we had experienced and I was not satisfied with the vehicle and felt unsafe making the drive back from Houston to Grand Prairie. The Manager (who kept telling me he was the manager) uncaringly told us as far as he was concerned since they did not have a tire problem when I received the vehicle it was my concern and if they have to replace the tire, they will bill my card. I am a Hertz Gold member and have been renting from Hertz for several years and this has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had with them. I will not blame the whole company for one locations bad customer service but will ensure I do not use this location any further (1st and last time).

I wish it were possible to give this Hertz location a 0!!!! AWFUL management!!I recently rented a vehicle from this location which smelled of smoke. I. was traveling and 2 hours into my drive the smoke smell got worse and triggered my asthma.I called the Arlington location and was given instructions on how to switch the vehicle at a different HERTZ location. The new location could only offer me an upgrade vehicle due to limited inventory. Justin, the Arlington manager, refuse to allow the upgrade without charge even with the new location stating the car smelled of smoke. Furthermore, I requested 3 callbacks from Justin and he did not return any of them. Hertz needs to evaluate management at this location. STAY AWAY from this rental location.

The service at this Hertz location across the street from AT&T Stadium was atrocious. The office was unkept and the two individuals who attended to customers could not make any decisions about issues with the car rental and indicated that they had to talk to the manger who, needless to say was not at the location. Communication with Hertz Corporate to resolve any issues had be done by the manager. A simple rental return transaction which should take no more 5 mins took us more than 70 mins to complete due to their communication issues. I would not recommend this Hertz location, unless you just wanted to be frustrated.

I wish there was an option to not leave a star, they dont even deserve that. These guys need an actual Hertz representative. The bigger gentleman was belittling and made me feel uncomfortable because every question I had was returned with attitude and haste, I felt if I had one more question to ask, Id be in actual physical danger.Theres no customer service etiquette, the manager came up to the desk and starting putting my drivers license information into the phone, and when I asked what he was doing, he looked at me very annoyed, and said he needs to verify if it were real, ON YOUR CELLPHONE???? What information do you need to enter into your cellphone from my AZ ID if it says it expires in 2060?? Theyre AZ Drivers Licenses, not a passport. Weve been running all over Dallas for a rental since the first 2 addresses were permanently closed. THE LOCATION SET TO PICK UP MY RENTAL WAS ABANDONED!!! And these guys here at this location made me jump even more hoops. Double charge on insurance, then play dumb like I didnt just tell you we purchased it already?Please HERTZ, DO SOMETHING FOR YOURSELVES. Your reps here have no respect for business, and manager was adimate about me having to pay MORE for my troubles. Im going to copy paste to all locations until theres a resolution. Best of luck to those employees, all I was looking for, was some help. Next time, please help the next paying customer like a paying customer, not some con artist you can disrespect and belittle in front of other employees.

I changed from a different Hertz location that was simply awful. This one was great.I had my car fixed after someone decided to back into it in a parking lot. Their insurance sent me here to get a rental in the meantime. They were friendly and handled everything quickly for me. Even while being pretty busy I was still in and out in under 30 minutes. Not a bad deal.They offered to come pick me up at the repair place but I chose not to do that (I mean seriously who wants to ride in a car with some random person right now lol). After it was over, they picked up the rental car from the repair place and I didnt have to be there to hand it over.Id come back to this place anytime.

I had to get a rent car here when my car was wrecked. They were awesome and didnt give me any hassle when I needed the car longer than expected. They will pick you up if need be, and I was able to leave the rent car at the body shop when my car was ready.

This company is very unethical and will steal money from you. I wish I could give them zero stars. I had repairs done and was told I could leave my car rental at the collision repair shop, I called them the day I picked my car back up to let them know they could come get the rental. Long story short they left the car at the repair shop for a month then charged me for 27 days of car rental. That’s a complete rip off and I’ve been fighting to get my money back ($700+).DON’T RENT FROM THEM IF YOU DONT WANT YOURE MONEY STOLE.

I had to move a relative spur of the moment. They had a moving van in stock and ready to go. Much cheaper than going through uhaul and their Ford transit van had a ton of space for moving a room full of stuff.

Worst experience ever. Customer service is awful. Management is even worse. They have people working for Toyota to help out hertz because they are so understaffed. Wait times are long. I called corporate over this because my experience was so bad. I traded my rent car in because it had a flat and then the car they gave me required maintenance? Then they told me I’d be responsible for two tanks of gas which makes no sense. Because the tire light was on when I got the first vehicle. So it was their fault. Now the maintenance light is on on the new vehicle as I was driving off. I didn’t want to wait in the line again for 45 minutes so I called into work and dropped it off the next day. My business will be with enterprise from now on. I hope insurance companies stop using hertz. No management can be found ever.

The car I selected for rental they did not have but the rental agent was more than accommodating by upgrading the vehicle class for the same price. Process was faster than expected and my overall experience was great renting through Hertz at Vandergriff Toyota. Thank you! Hope all stays the same when returning.

This was a learning experience for me to be in trusting with a company that only cares about them. I recommend not getting insurance coverage with them if you dont have another choice in rental companies. I returned my provided vehicle 2 days early and was still charged. $315 for roughly 7 days I didnt pay attention to the itemized codes and amounts. Where I messed up was getting anything beyond what the persons at fault insurance provided. Well I know what to do next time but I will make sure that anyone needing help gets to know what to do and where to go to.1 star for having cars 1 star for having a physical location . and they suck

Well I am here now and from the moment I placed my call to the Hertz at the Toyota in Arlington my call was answered after two rings and Berry was very professional and answered all my questions, Mike in the front desk was very professional and was quick to get me in and out in a matter of 15 min I was in and out the door. I am sorry for who’s had a bad experience but for me they made it so easy as 1-2-3 thank you guys.

The day that I rented a car here there was only one person at the counter to help customers, who was also responsible for inspecting cars, washing them, etc. She was polite enough, but the wait time and attention were subpar at best. This is not to mention the fact that she tried to charge me more than the reservation I made online the previous day dictated, although she ended up charging me the previously agreed-upon amount.Visiting here wasn’t horrible, but I sure don’t want to do it again.

I recommended you guys do not use Hertz. Worst experience ever and not professional. I got into my first accident and was told I wouldn’t have to pay anything and insurance would cover it all. They didn’t tell me about any information about the rental car or about the OPTION insurance coverage. They just asking for your ID and asking me to choose 1 their coverage and I didn’t know. Then they just asking me how long I need the rental car for and need my signature. Horrible customer service and he just spoke to me like 3-4 word. I kept the rental car for 9 days. The day I’m picking up my car and drop off the rental car at the body shop. I call hertz to let them know I’m dropping off the car there. Next day, they charged me $666.16. I call them couple times and of course, they said they can’t do anything about it.

Save yourself the hassle and go to the airport to pick up a car so that you don’t have to talk to any one. I showed up on a Friday half an hour before my pick up time. There were three people there before me and one told me before me they had been there two hours waiting on a car. We asked the employee how long it would be and she made no effort to give us even guess of how long it would be.Finally the manager showed backed up and started helping people. We waited a long time for him to get us through the process. We were now approaching an hour. After he got our car out, he drove it to the back of the lot and was gone for a good 15 minutes. After he came back it was clear that he attempted to wash the car but it was rather filthy inside when we got it. Then the manager proceeded to wage our time by taking copious pictures of the car while looking for dents. Again something they don’t do at the airport. The manager told us he would give us a discount on our rental since we had to wait so long. That never happened though.After I left the lot, I got down the corner only to discover that the fuel light was on yet they marked my car as having a full tank. I immediately took a picture of the fuel level and mileage. Luckily when I turned the car back in they didn’t charge me to fill the tank.If considering a car here, save yourself the trouble and drive to the airport. It will be faster in the long run.

WORST EVER. Got into my very first accident recently. My rental car was through these people and they are not helpful at all and very misleading. Was told I wouldn’t have to pay anything and insurance would cover it all. Get picked up from hertz at the body shop to be taken to hertz to get my rental. Sat at the rental location for an hour at least before I got helped. Only 1 person at the desk, with a line full of people. Wasn’t told anything about fuel charges or any charges that would come at all. The day comes that my personal car is finished ( a Friday ) I call hertz to let them know I will need someone to meet me at the body shop so the rental can be returned. No body came to get the car until the following Monday which I got charged for. 131.72 which I never got the full refund for which I was told I would get the full refund. On top of all of this, don’t even bother calling they never ever answer.

Don’t rent cars from them if you have had a wreck. This business requires a credit or debit card to rent a car, even if it is an insurance claim. Which I totally understand. But they just continue to take money out of your account and can’t even tell you why. This bill was already settled and they decided to take another 355.00 out of my account. All they keep saying is it is for a charge for that they have already been paid for. The care was returned 2 weeks ago and they are still taking money out. I will get the money back, but if you are anything like me you do t have the money or time to have your money tied up like this. HERTZ ARE CROOKS. And I plan on taking this as for as I can. I have now canceled this cars and no more money will come out of my account. And I will never use hertz again.

Tried to charge us a cleaning fee that was supposedly dropped a few years back. I find it unprofessional, and more importantly, unsanitary that Hertz does not clean their vehicles (per their policy) before renting it out to other customers. Customer would have to report a dirty rental to get it clean. What about germs, bacteria, viruses, and other bodily fluids that are unseen by the naked eye? Disgusting. Never again.

Somehow, we always have issues with every hertz we use. They charge you fees for policies that tell you are covered by your insurance, even after they assure you several times it’s covered. After they charge you and you go talk to them, the manager is never around or they can’t help you!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERTZ!!!!! I legitimately wish I was able to give 0 stars. I had a rental returned about 2 months ago but was charged almost $900 for “not returning it on time,” even though this went through insurance so I shouldn’t have paid a penny. After several calls to the location and the corporation, I haven’t gotten any money back and I have been dealing with this for two weeks now. Nobody seems to care because it’s not their money that is missing. I do not have any money to pay my bills that are NECESSARY because this is taking way longer than it should to get my money back. Thanks Hertz, you will never be receiving my business again!!

I did not have a happy encounter at this location, and unfortunately it was the manager that I had the issue with, I was upgraded on my vehicle which caused me to incur more cost and when I refused the upgrade there was a confrontation about the rental. Would give zero stars if possible. hertz staff threatened me. tried to start a fight with me. left me stranded in arlington. then when i called customer service none of the employees would provide their names or employee numbers seem to have a bit of a gang mentality at this location. all around wont return to this location or to Vandergriff Toyota.

The big guy I spoke to had a serious attitude problem. Before I showed up I told him I wanted a small safe and fuel-efficient car. When I showed up they try to hand me the keys to a Jeep. I told him I did not request that, and when I put the reservation in I told him what I wanted. His response was we got a lot of reservations, so you get what you get. I did not like that answer so I told him I would wait for another available vehicle. When I went to return the vehicle the same guy and same attitude problem. Im just glad my insurance paid for this or Id be asking for money back.

The person told me the car was gone because I was late for more than 2 hours even though I had the car rented for 2 days, I even had to wait for 40 minutes for him to come back. There is no mention of this on the website or on the itinerary, both him and the manager were extremely unhelpful, and I had to cancel the car for my weekend trip with my friends. Both should be fired and replaced with people who know how to handle customers respectfully. Hertz makes it hard to report these problems. but Im gonna nake sure they hear about it.
