I was referred to Breun by a friend of mine after moving to Texas. I was complaining about the multiple barbers that I tried to use. I arrived at my appointment time and he had the chair empty and waiting for me! This is a welcome change from others that ask you to wait beyond your appointment time while they finish someone else. The cut was on point and I havent let anyone else cut my hair in the last 6 months. The service is great, shop is clean and he is always on time! Highly recommended only if you want Top Notch service.

This location just entails everything when it comes to men’s health and grooming. Breun has been my barber since I landed my job in Arlington and I don’t regret changing barbers at all! Moved to Arlington seven years ago, Tom and Kat were my first choice. Since then Ive moved to White settlement four years ago, but still travel to have a excellent cut. My son, who now lives in Denton, still travels to use them. Cant go wrong for a traditional mens hair cut. Im going to hate to see them retire.

Ive been using them for years. No haircuts for a few months due to Covid and social distancing. My wife and I are immune suppressed and had to limit our contacts even before Covid.But, McCalls get it. They are appointment only now, and do a sanitizing after each patron. They know how to take care of customers safely in this new environment. Id give them more stars if Google would let me.

A husband wife team. War vet. Excellent men haircuts. Friendly. Always has customers so is reputable and well known. Decor is walk back in time with war memorabilia on walls and always has western showing on tv.

I was very pleased by my first visit to McCall’s today. I traditionally get my hair cut at Great Clips, which has been adequate, but I really wanted to go to a real barbershop- a place where a man get a haircut.McCall’s is very much the classic sort of barbershop that I was expecting. Upon walking in I noticed the framed World War II-era newspaper front pages, and there is no slick decor. There were three men already waiting for their haircuts. The proprietors are Tom and Kay McCall, a husband and wife team. Although there was a small backlog of people waiting when I arrived, I didn’t have to wait too long before it was my turn. Tom cut my hair, and pleasantly chatted me up about how I heard about the shop and other things.In contrast with other haircuts that I’ve had over the past several years, Tom took his time to make sure that it was done well. I received a hot lather neck trim, as well as a hot towel when I was done, and he even took care of my ear hair and trimmed my eyebrows (at age 44 these are increasingly a problem!).I mentioned to Tom that they seemed to have all the business they could handle, a sentiment with which he concurred. They have a devoted clientele that is willing to wait or come back a little later to have their hair cut at McCall’s- several more people came in while I was getting my haircut, and their waiting room was jampacked. They’ve been in business there for a long time and have built up a substantial customer base, it appears.The cost for my adult haircut was $16, which I felt was a fair price. I’m looking forward to my next visit soon, and highly recommend McCall’s for an authentic barbershop experience.

This is where real men go to get haircuts. This is a real barber shop, like your father and grandfather went to. They dont give perms, color hair or paint nails. This husband and wife team give great no nonsense mens haircuts. To top it off with, they have great customer service and a fair price. Since I found them, I dont go anywhere else to get my haircut.The only problem you might face is waiting in line, and trust me, its worth the wait!

I was searching for a new barber, the lady that had been cutting my hair moved to Dallas. I tried this place. Kay cut my hair. * I Brought Pictures * and explained how I wanted my hair cut, kind of longish on the top and shorter on the back and sides. I ended up with my hair so short on top that Im almost bald and too long on the sides. She ruined my hair. Good news is I wont need a haircut for probably 3 months, bad news, it takes forever to grow out a bad haircut. I guess cutting hair is really hard because no one in Arlington is capable of doing it well.

Like most folks, it is always nice to know how others have felt of the service they receive when trying out a new vendor so I read the reviews here and of course it becomes obvious that a recent complaint was the only one out of all of the others.Make a long story short, this guy must have lost his blankie at a young age because the only thing missing from the service was NOTHING. I too have lost my barber of 20 years and I found the cut by Nathan to be professional, exactly what I asked for and more than fairly priced. I have found a new home for my hair care and wish to extend a pacifier to poor Phil...I have to question the mental aptitude of any male that has to bring a picture of what he wants into a traditional barber shop. He should have gone instead to a shrink! Can we say MILLENIAL?

Just got a haircut from Patricia, friendly fast and exactly what I wanted.

This was my 3rd time to be there. Had my haircut done by Kay who did an ok job the first time. Asked for a light trim and got butchered. Wasn’t aware until I got home and my wife told me it was cut way too close and and a 2” gap on the left back side of my hairline. She purposely didn’t show it to me in the mirror as she held it to the side of my head . Totally botched job.

My husband and I recently move here to Arlington and he decided to find a barber shop. They gave him the worst haircut ever. The fade is even bad and has an uneven haircut. Would not recommend coming back here.
