Trying to find an appliance repair company was something i was dreading. Had yet to find one that just STOOD out as being recommended. Randomly came across Big and Square on yelp and left a message for Gene. His voicemail was updated that he was out of town but i left a message anyway and he returned the call when he got back and was able to come the following day. He was nice, professional, and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend!

Gene is one outstanding repair professional. He repaired my Samsung heavy duty dryer. He replaced the drum and didn’t feel the part was correct. He followed up and found that part was defective and replaced it after a day.The dryer makes almost no sound now. Which was not the case when Sears installed a year ago.If you need a professional with great follow up and will explain in depth what he is going to do for you this is your repair guy.Thanks Big and Square!

Truly an honest repair man. My elderly mothers refrigerator was broken. He came and diagnosed the problem. It was a leak in the coolant line. He came back the next day and worked 4+ hours only to find there was a clog that couldnt be repaired. He didnt charge for his time. He apologized.We will definitely recommend him and use him again.

We forgot to leave a key on a scheduled repair and gene rescheduled us at no charge for the next morning. The power went out the morning of the reschedule and he still came out after we discussed our options... in the dark and replaced the part. Im very satisfied and the work was done at a very reasonable cost.

Gentleman came out when he said he would. Spent about an hour working on our double oven. Found the problem and repaired. He only charged us $75. Now our oven works great. Would definitely recommend.

The service repairman performed a diagnosis on a company refrigerator and became upset and argumentative with our receptionist when told that we pay our invoices with a check. He did not explain initially that he expected payment before walking out the door. Many businesses operate with a mailed check payment after an invoice has been received. This behavior occurred in front of customers at our business. Not very tactful.

Gene was professional. I called him to fix a leak in my refrigerator and was able to get an appointment the same day. I called him back one week later when I discovered another issue with my fridge. Gene diagnosed the problem and despite spending 2 hours at my home, did not charge me for the work since I decided not to keep the fridge and to replace it (due to the cost of repair). He was on time, clean, and professional. He kept his work area neat and communicated clearly about his diagnosis of the issue. I will be calling Gene again for any other appliance issues.
