Sears Repair services sent one of the BEST TECHNICIANS -Harold-out I have seen in along time to repair my whirlpool oven! He was VERY professional & KNEW what he was doing!!! he explained everything as well. I AM VERY VERY Pleased!
WORST SERVICE TECH I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. NOT EXPECTING FROM SEARS HOME SVS. MARCUS WAS SUPPOSED TO COME OUT BUT AT LAST MINUTE THEY SEND JAMES A. WHO WAS UNCOUTH, ROUGH, LACKING CIVILITY AND DID NOT PERFORM HIS WORK AS WAS EXPECTED FOR THE MONEY HE CHARGED. ALSO HE OVERCHARGED ME VERSUS WHAT WAS AGREED UPON BY SEARS OUTSOURCED CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT WHO TOLD ME A PROMOTIONAL WAS GOING ON AND GAVE A GOOD PRICE. WILL NEVER USE SEARS AGAIN OR MAKE SURE TO KNOW WHO WILL ARRIVE AT YOUR DOOR.
I called on June 19th 2021 for washer repair. Premier Appliance came out on June 25th. The young was very professional and courteous, he said Ineeded 2 parts he wouldorder. When the parts came in I called back they sent another guy out. He put on 1 part took the other with him said hewould order the correct part I waited about 1 week and called Sears and was told the repair man closed the service order he completed the work so that started a mess. Have Premier Appliance out 3 times and Universal Repair 4 times. Today I called for service and asked if a Sears Tech could come out and was told my a supervisor NO,I didnt need them. Now September 1st and washer still not repIred.
Awful!!!! If I could give them Zero stars l would. Save yourself the time, heartaches, worry, and call another service provider for your needs. My how times have changed and Sears has fallen from grace. The customer service was awful and we still dont have a working icemaker. In short, our Stainless steel Whirlpool refrigerator wasnt producing ice. We decided to call Sears and they sent a repair technician who stayed in our home for 3 minutes before stating he fixed it. After charging us over a$100 he left and almost immediately l thought that was too quick and he didnt even do anything. Of course it still wasnt producing ice so l called Sears the next day to have them send another technician out. The 2nd technician stated we need a new icemaker and that he could order one for over another hundred dollars. In which we paid for and set another date for installation. We were then told that the previous $100 would not be applied towards the labor cost to install it. After that the installation date comes and goes and no one shows up. Then we get an email stating the part is on backorder. Its been nearly two months now and not only have we not heard a peep from ANYONE AT SEARS, but...we are still were no closer to having a working icemaker. And at this point l just want my money back. I am disappointed that l cant get my time back too. I have learned that Sears no longer has the quality reputation of yesterday and the 3rd party outsourced technicians theyre working with suck. Dont even bother fooling with this company. Trust me, youll regret it.
The 2nd trip wrong parts ordered on range & dropped the dryer part twice & had to order again. 3rd trip range fixed thought dryer was fixed but when I went to use the next day it made a high pitch noise & laundry room was really hot. I climbed over dryer & saw screw driver & vent was off.Hopefully 4th trip will resolve. Call center horrible. I couldn’t make my appt for the repairs once the parts were in because I had to go through customer care. I waited on the phone for over an hour one day. Next day 20 minutes.I miss sear repair men much better service when service was not outsourced.
The repair man was nice, but quiet. He came from Sears to fix the door not latching on the dishwasher. Took about 10 minutes and it seemed to latch again, so he left and I paid. We loaded the dishwasher and it did not latch. Had a hard time trying to call and report it, with the risk that we would have to pay for another service call. I ended up fixing it myself by modifying the latch retention mechanism. Wasted $$ on the service call.
Very quick response from Sears, diagnosed the problem, ordered the right part, then came back to install it. Very professional, cleaned up after themselves. James was great.
Customer service here at Sears Automotive is excellent. If you decide to go here ask for Fred.He was very helpful and honest about what my truck needed. I have previously taken my vehicle to another shop for a front end alignment and they told me I needed to spend $1,400 or replacement. Then they charged me $80 for an alignment they did not complete. They said they could not finish it unless I replace the parts that was needed. I took it to Sears and they were able to successfully do an excellent job of aligning my wheels and said theres nothing wrong with any of my parts. Thats honesty its hard to find in a company nowadays. Prices are excellent so if you have not been too serious for a while for your auto motive needs give them a try. Dont forget to talk to Fred if hes available excellent customer service.
He diagnosed the problem and gave me the estimate to fix. I declined because too expensive on an old machine. He also gave me some pointers on how to fix myself if I wanted to try. Good guy.
Sears Appliance Repair service has always been great. This time was no exception. Marc arrived on time. The email sent to me prior to his arrival with his photo was a great addition to this service. Marc was courteous, knowledgeable, and fast. He assessed the problem with my refridgerator, asked me questions to confirm his assessment and made the repair quickly. Thanks Sears!
Purchased a 5 year warranty for my Kenmore refrigerator. After 4 years and during this COVID-19 I can’t store my food because the temp on both my refrigerator and freezer does not work. I called to have someone come check it out and fix it. It took a week for someone to come over, “supposedly” fixed it and after 72 hours I still don’t have a working refrigerator to store my food in. I called again and they said they don’t have a tech available until next week. I called this morning to see if anything got cancelled and possibly have someone come over sooner. They emailed SEARS managers around my area, including this location and I haven’t received a call from no one. It’s been more than 2 weeks since my refrigerator stopped working and more than 85% of my food has gone bad because of this situation. The experience I’m having is why I rate this service visit from this location a one star.
I paid $107 for the service call for Sears to tell me that the burner needed to be replaced, which I already knew. The best part was that they wanted to charge me almost $600 more to fix it. Thats more than I paid for the whole range. Then, the technician tried to tell me he couldnt accept my SEARS credit card because I hadnt received a new one with a chip yet. I dont think so, sir. I had to insist that he call someone who could take the card over the phone, which he did. I will never call Sears for appliance repair again.UPDATE: Based on the response to this review, I emailed Sears at the address they provided below and provided the information they requested. There has been no response, of course. This response was just for show.
Absolutely great experience. I came around 9 am to beat the crowd, so I was literally in and out within 30 min for my oil change. My service representative, Tim, was absolutely amazing. He had excellent customer service with a constant smile and warm personality. My experience with Tim is why I will be returning for any future car maintenance. Thanks Tim! YOU’RE AWESOME!
Repair person not sure if we simply needed a replacement dispenser try or a seriously more expensive repair. He gave me info to order the replacement part - which I promptly did. However today I received work that the part is on back order with an unknown future availability!
Techs are great, management is beyond idiotic and sent me through HUGE loops to return the product because I was within 30 days, even though the tech was already out with me! Then sent me to wrong store, saying it could be any store, nope lied again, said they would put notes on my account of the troubles and store would give me discount for a new one- their computers are from the 80s so cant even see notes. Sears just needs to hurry and go out of business
Has been closed.! Not open anymore.!
Lloyd repaired out GE Refrigerator-he had real expertise. He diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts, came on time and replaced the mother board and compressor inverter. I will say that this GE Profile unit is less than 6 years old and should have not needed repair but then that is another story! The repairman was excellent.
I had a phenomenal visit.I called to see if they were available for an oil change ahead of time and they said I would be able to come right in. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a man named Tim. Tim was extremely kind and helpful. He was definitely going the extra mile to make sure I was take care of. My oil change was done promptly in about 30 minutes (like they estimated).Highly likely to return.Thank you :)- Happy Customer
My issue started on February 12th, 2020 when I called to make an appointment for a technician to come and see why my refrigerator water dispenser was no longer working. After 5 “appointments”, 4 ordered parts, 4 different technicians, and 6 weeks later my water FINALLY works again. Below are the comments left to the survey once the last technician left my home:The tech left the old door and packing materials in my kitchen (said it was my responsibility to dispose of these items), the new door is not level with the old, he broke one of the condiment shelves when it fell out of the fridge (in the process cracking the lid on a condiment that is now not closing and must be thrown away), and now my ice maker isnt making ice. These comments were shared last week, and to date no one from Sears has reached or returned my calls to fix these items. That was until today when I received a generic email asking me to leave an online comment. OK, no problem. Here’s your online comment Sears, hope it helps.Needless to say, I absolutely WILL NOT be reaching out for your “help” with any of my appliances in the future. Thanks!
Great customer service. Gentleman that helped me was super nice and helpful. Got everything done to my car in record time. Pricing was fair.
The Service Tech was very informative and helpful in terms of repair or replace. As it was more economical to replace, only issue was diagnostic rate advertised online as $89 resulted in final bill of $117. There should be more transparency and consistency in pricing for consumers informed decision making.
Seems like a great team at this Sears Auto Center. I was impressed with how knowledgeable they all were. Everyone I spoke with exuded confidence and competence, so I felt comfortable with their workmanship. You can see the level of training - both technical and customer service - that Sears puts into the staff here. I would recommend them without hesitation.
Tim was amazing! Had a problem with the strut and cambers, and was actually able to find a simple solution! Which in turn saved some money. Theyre very knowledgeable and let you know step by step what they found to help prolong your cars performance! Will be returning
Real nice employees and very professional.
I scheduled a repair person for a dishwasher in my home online. When I received the email confirmation, it stated there would be a charge for the visit. I called and was told that I have 2 dishwashers in my home. I tried to assure your representative that there is only one dishwasher in my home, but she told me if the repair person came out there would be a charge. I asked if the location of the call center was in the US, because there was a definite language barrier, she said she couldnt give that information. I told her she was not able to answer my questions and she told me that I understood and answered her questions just fine. I asked for and spoke to a supervisor, but her English was not any better. The service tech called me and I told him the service call had been cancelled because the call center rep. said there would be a charge if he came out and the next available day was 4 more days. I explained the situation to him and he said he would make a call and call me back. He was told that the next available day was 1 week later. He called me back and told me that he could come now there would not be a service charge. I very much appreciate that he was able to resolve a situation that had me completely frustrated with Sears. I was so very glad that the service tech was able to take care of this customer as well as he did.
Patience is a virtue. If you dont possess this virtue, dont bring your car into Sears. They are busy all day and they are busy for a reason. One year of retail should be as compulsory as military service so customers would finally understand that other customers arent just dropped just because they show up. We learn to wait our turn in the 1st grade. Tim and all of the mechanics work hard all day long and often stay 2 hours after they should have gone home. Tim in particular is tremendous at what he does. My mechanic keeps my car for 3 days, Sears having it for a couple of hours and doing a thorough job is not going to kill me. Thank You Tim and Crew for doing a great job on my car.
We are not satisfied at all with Sears service. We bought the refrigerator less than 3 years ago. The ice maker stopped making ice about two months ago. We have had to call into a ridiculous phone system numerous times now. The three different servicemen who have come to our home have not fixed the problem. Now we have to take off work a 4th time to meet yet another serviceman at the house. This is NOT good customer service.
Fred was so great! I had a flat tire and he made sure to get me the cheapest deal and was very kind and made me feel better despite the frustration of having a flat tire. They changed the tire within about 20 minutes and I was out. Thank you Fred!
Very Good service. Jim Young is an expert. He knew riding lawnmowers like the back of his hands. Had repaired the mower electrical systems very fast. But, there was a mysterious short somewhere that stopped the mower again. No problem, Sears warranty of parts & labor for 90 days !
The tech was not on time and he was a maintenance person not a repair person so he could not repair my air conditioning. It work 6 hours on the phone to reach a person who was able to escalate the issue and get someone out three days later. Sears Customer service is a joke and the home warranty department is worthless. I do not recommend using sears. It has declined drastically since filing for bankruptcy.
I have been coming to this Sears Auto Center for a few years now. I originally came because I can pay with my Sears Card but I stay for the service. I know these guys (and Carrie) are overworked and short staffed (mechanics) but they are some of the honest hard workers around. I know that timing is not their strong suit because of being so short staffed but I plan accordingly. If you need something quick go somewhere else. If you need your car fixed extremely well by dang good mechanics, it is well worth the trip. Tim, Carrie, Ed and all of the mechanics try their best and are honest with me all the time. I get what I pay for and I have never been upset at all. This Auto Center is so worth the wait!
I have been trying to get my ice maker repaired since January 5, 2018 it took over a month to get a new ice maker and upon putting the new one it it did not work. I have had nothing but trouble with this ice maker since I bought the refrigerator in October 2016. The first one the ice maker didnt work, so they delivered another refrigerator. The second ice maker on that refrigerator didnt work, so they delivered another refrigerator. Guess what that ice maker didnt work either. I called for service in January of 2017 and they installed a new ice maker which worked for a year until January of this year.I have always had Kenmore products, but I will never purchase anything else from Sears. The service has been terrible and now you have s sub-contractor coming out trying to fix the ice maker. You cant reach them if you have a problem, they dont return your calls or stay to see if the product is working before they leave. I have to keep coming back to Sears to get you to send an email.
Never showed up for appointment several times! 👎
I wish I could give this place -20 rating. Total waste of time and a big joke. I scheduled an oil change and ac service. Had a 10 am appointment. I arrived there at 9:30 am. They didnt start working on my car until 7 pm. When i dropped it off in the morning, they told me it would take 3 hrs, 4 hrs max. They should have told me that they work on dealership cars first before they work on the regular customer cars. Oh and making an appointment is completely unnecessary.
They refused to do job.
I have a service plan for my fridge, dishwasher, stove and microwave. And, Im glad I got it. Ive had someone out on 5 different occasions now. The time the microwave just stopped working, the time my father-in-law broke one of the shelves int he fridge, the time I accidentally clogged up the drain in the dishwasher... They were always able to get someone out pretty quick, and the Sears guys have all been helpful and knowledgeable. Completely worth the money
*Update*I do want to update and say I had a talk with the Manager Tim and explain to him the flaws in their appointment system that needs to be brought up to someone on a higher scale than him. With that being said he took great care of me and appreciated my feedback and I valued his strive to take the sour taste out of my mouth after waiting for so long.Original:Dont come here, they only have 2 mechanics and they overbook appointments and lie about your wait time. Ive been here for an 1.5hr for a an OIL CHANGE I made an APPOINTMENT for and they just lifted my car.
He showed up on time and was very polite. As he got to work on the washer issues, and he took the time to explain the problem. Then he proceeded to order the correct parts that are needed to fix the issue. A lot of technicians do not take the time these days. He did a great job, and I liked the fact that he made me and my wife feel like valued customers.Keep up the good work!
The tech was fast, efficient and courtesy. He had to come back out but not his fault. He took care of the issue not problem~
If there was a 0 stars I would give that. Waited over 4 hours for power steering fluid exchange. I just dont understand. I made an appointment and even showed up early. How can you be out of Honda power steering fluid? Had to wait hours for some to be delivered. If they hadnt already drained the old fluid out I would have left. I guess you get what you pay for. Never gonna make this mistake again. I will pay the extra $30 to gave it done somewhere else and have it done in 45 minutes.*** at checkout they did give me $20 off but still....
Great place to repair your car for a fair price.
Waited at front desk for an oil change for 30+ minutes before even being acknowledged, then was told, come back tomorrow, we dont have time. It was 1:00 in the afternoon! I guess the moral of the story is MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! But the. Again after reading others ratings, this doesnt seem to matter, either. Went to Meineke, paid about $15 extra, and was in and out in less than 30 minutes.
Great customer service prices are reasonable.
The service man came to fix my tractor mower, he arrived at a moderate time in the mornings and completed all their repairs in a timely manner. New is very courteous and informative about what was happening with the tractor. Ive always been happy with Sears service
I visit this Sears Auto quite frequently. Tim and his team are great! They try to get you taken care of quickly and try their best to work with your budget.
Do better. All it would take is some common sense to turn this business around. It couldnt get any worse.
Went in today for tires and an alignment and the service was excellent. Tim and the rest of the staff was terrific! Great prices and a great experience.
Went in today for an oil change and received great service. Tim was very helpful! They got me in and out very quickly. Thank you!
The first technician who was supposed to come went to our former home in another state, even though I gave all of the current information on our current address. We could not get another tech to come until two days later. He diagnosed the need to replace the compressor. Parts needed to be ordered - this took another five days. The different technician who came out then said the compressor was fine, it was just the sensor that needed to be replaced. We had to have a working fridge over the Easter holiday weekend with a houseful of guests, so we had to purchase a new refrigerator. The whole experience was expensive, filled with incompetence, and frustrating.
Tim is a great manager and has really gone above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He remembered us and the issues we were having with our car after weeks had passed and we really appreciated the personalised service.
Excellent service and great prices. I was truly impressed with the manager, Tim, and everyone that helped me. And Im picky! Plus I saved over $100! Yep, thats right. My husband called NTB and was about to take the car up there. I asked how much and he said $235.I asked if he had called Sears because Ive always heard Diehard batteries (Sears only) are the best. So I called. Tim answered and quoted me $116. No BS AND he checked to make sure they had it. THEN he said hed be waiting on us and just pull in the garage. Well, we took it in and guess what? IT WAS EXACTLY HOW MUCH HE SAID IT WOULD BE. Women, you know how much that means. So often we get taken advantage of at car places. Not here. Good, HONEST, friendly service that I can highly recommend without reservation. And, of course, I got that great Diehard battery that I noticed had a 3 year warranty on it. Please, please dont forget about Sears when youre looking for a battery. The battery guy on Road to Six Flags is gone (old Arlingtonites you know who im talking about). This is where our family is going from now.
I paid $16,000 for an AC System (upstairs and downstairs) units in 2016. Sears has never got the upstairs unit to cool the house. Sears reps have been out every year to inspect the system and every summer my utility bills have gone through the roof because the upstairs unit never hits target temperature. Every time they come out to fix it they blame it on needing to adjust the coolant. In the last 2 weeks twice again Sears techs have come out and the first guy DID NOTHING AND REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING OR TELL ME ANYTHING. The 2nd guy last Saturday finally after 3 years tells me there is an air distribution problem. I have a master plan warranty and prior to the system being installed I was told I needed to do NOTHING for the system to work. Sears had the system installed and it has never worked right. Sears is on the verge of being sued. Sears needs to fix the problems. It is ON THEM. I have lost thousands of dollars in utility cost and degradation to the system due to Sears Reps lieing to me and misrepresenting their product. The rep that came out recently placed a document that said I had signed it of which I HAVE SIGNED NOTHING. That is deceptive business practices and fraud. We are going to court if Sears does not get the installer to come out and FIX EVERYTHING TO GET THIS SYSTEM WORKING AND COOLING THE HOUSE. The rep that came out last Saturday also said the installer had buried the drain lines to both units and should have relocated the thermostat close to the ventilation return. I have spent over 8 hours on the phone trying to get some thing done being routed to 10 different numbers and no one can tell me anything and refuses to give me a fax number. Get ready, we are going to court. You have one week to get someone out to my house and FIX THIS!!!!!
Trash, although the guys at the desk are cool. I ONLY go there because I get an UBER discount and the SYW Program. Went today, was told by the lady who can be quite rude at times, “we won’t be able to get to an oil change today we have dealership cars to work on”. First off, it’s 3pm you mean to tell me I can’t get an oil change and y’all are open for business. Secondly, the HELL WITH THE DEALERSHIPS. Paying patrons who need work done now. Went to NTB with my other discount, they didn’t mope and groan, just got me in and out in about 30 minutes.
Just had a painless and friendly experience at Sears. My battery was failing so I drove in for help. They immediately greeted me as I drove in and quickly checked me in and began trouble shooting my problem. I found the service manager both friendly and entertaining. The reslut was actually an enjoyable experience. (and I am not usually expecting enjoyment from car trouble!) Thanks SEARS. I will be back.
The repairman Eddie was great. He arrived with the correct part but when he called In, the repair order had been cancelled by Sears. I called Sears and was told that they didnt understand why it was cancelled since the dryer had been out of service for three weeks.
Easy to schedule. Tech did a great job. Will continue my washer dryer warranty with you. Will recommend others
The serviceman arrived past the 8 -12 window. Apparently the service package that I purchased only gave me a slight discount on the parts that I needed for the service. The only service he did was to order parts and explain how we could install them ourselves. Please stop selling this service package if your company will not replace these parts. I honestly feel that you all owe us for doing the work, and for our lost time. When we set up the appointment we were not told that the filters were not covered, and worse that the service person did not bring the very items we had communicated as needed.
NO NO NO.....if you are even CONSIDERING this location.Waited 4 hrs....TWO mechanics....one dedicated to oil changes.YOU WILL NOT BE SEEN......WHY are they even OPEN? One major repair and they are BOOKED all day!So why dont they TURN PEOPLE AWAY? Makes no sense....why ALLOW PEOPLE TO wait hours when you KNOW they cant possible even look at your car.Seriously DO NOT CONSIDER this location....you will be so sorry...
The service technician was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and efficient in repairing the 1994 washing machine.
Well, the actual repair service was great! Courtney is very good with what he does, and we were lucky to have him diagnose the problem, and actually come back to fix it!. For the repair Courtney I have to give a 5 star! We had problems with the actual repair dates and follow up. I dont know if that was computer problems or operator problem. The customer service people and advocate service people were very nice and helpful. It was just a matter of being stood up for our 1st appt, and waiting all day for the repair man that never showed up made for loss of confidence and trust. Maybe lack of communication? I have to give the repair man a 5 star, but the over all experience with getting him here and back after the parts arrived was frustrating for me. I have to give a 3 star for the over all experience.
Was not impressed with this service. My matching dryer was working fine and I wanted to fix the washing machine. The tech didnt seem that interested in repairing my washing machine. He worked with it awhile, then looked on line, and determined he could not find that parts were available for this machine. I asked him to search further for parts after he left and give me a call, which he said he would, but did not do. He also left the machine full of water. He knew that the spin cycle worked fine and could have spun the water out of the machine. I accept now that there are no parts available for this machine, but this could have been determined by phone or on line by Sears Appliance Repair from the make and model number before sending a tech on an expensive wasted call.
Dear Sirs: Your service was excellent on the third re-scheduling for the annual de-icing and defrosting of the freezer portion of our Kenmore refrigerator/freezer, three-door combination. In the 62 years of our marriage, we have always had Sears products. This unit is beautiful to see, but this service turned into a hassle of rescheduling and phone calls. The service man explained that this is normal for the three-door refrigerators and that we must do this again in September, 2017. He did an excellent job. My rating is low because of the scheduling hassle.
I was very disappointed. We had a wheel on our garden tractor that kept coming off back in April. We called for service tech then. He came out, said it was the bearings in the wheel. He fixed it. Then the 3rd time we used the tractor after that, the same wheel came off again two different times. So we called the service tech back again which was the June 21st appointment. The tech drove the tractor around the yard but couldnt get the wheel to come off. So he said there was nothing he could do and he left. This was very unsatisfactory. We would not have called for a tech if the wheel was ok. He should at least have taken it off to see if a thorough examination showed something. So now we have called for a tech again who is supposed to be here this week. We will see what happens then.
On top of long wait time, wrong oil had been put in my car during my last oil change which caused it to malfunction. also the proctective parts werent put on properly, i thought that when i bring my car there it would be handled properly but apparently i was way off, horrible practice you cant be careless with other peoples vehicles like that, will be the last time i go.
Repair man was wonderful. Rated 3 stars due to call in center due to him asking me to go to the machine to perform tasks to determine what was wrong. That is what I bought my policy for plus it was too difficult to get my walker in thru the laundry door.
Best place. Tim is awesome
The staff is very friendly! I dropped off my car for a tire road hazzard and they ordered me the replacement tire. They give me plenty of options and recommendations on what fit my driving style (more aggressive than most) and made me feel confident that the recommendation they gave me was my best option. They also remembered me and my car when I came back in to get my tire replaced the next day. Small-town relationship feel with big-name brands and competitive pricing. 10/10 would buy another tire with road hazzard from these guys!
Waited two and a half hours for an oil changed. Made an appointment for 3:00pm. Didnt leave until 5:30pm. What is the point of making an appointment? Had a Groupon for a conventional oil change ($16.99) Still charged more (around $13). Enough to bring it to the regular price of $29. I guess I shouldnt be surprised. Then on top of this, they couldnt find my keys for a while when it was time for me to leave. No apology for this.
The repair took 2 visits but problem was fixed. The repairman was friendly and knowledgeable. All is good!
One hour after the technician left the dishwasher was not working. I called to report and was told it would be another week before a repair person could come back out. I was treated very total disregard to the fact my dishwasher had already been out for a week. I called and asked to speak with a supervisor and he did not seem to care. Very dissatisfied. and I had just purchased a $250 service contract. Those customers should be treated with more respect.
Service technician was polite and professional. Answer questions and explain that I should purchase a power surge. Very helpful.
Avoid Sears Home Service (SHS) if at all possible. After several attempts contacting SHS to schedule completion of the repair to my appliance that I have already paid for, their call center clerks have lied to me several times and have failed to support me in any way. Information requested several times to be sent to my email address was never sent. The clerks repeated information several times as if they had rehearsed a standard verse instead of addressing the customer’s concerns individually. Many references to their “Service Team” were made but it’s doubtful that a team exists since no action was ever taken. My appliance is still unrepaired. Also the original service technician lied to me several times during the initial visit. It was clear to me that the original service technician was inexperience, untrained and incompetent and ordered the incorrect part not listed on the parts list for the appliance.SHS does not stand for “Sears Home Service”. It stands for “Substandard Home Service”.Their rating is zero (0).
Service person was friendly and knowledgeable and had the ice maker quickly fixed and back in operation. We were very pleased with the service.
The Sears Tech was very knowledgeable and polite. He zeroed in on the problem quickly and made the repair. The refrigerator works great now!
I made an appointment over a week ago to have 4 new tires installed. I arrived at 2pm as scheduled and it has taken them 4 hours to put on new tires. Apparently, they took other people in for other jobs with disregard to scheduled appointments. You can watch their mechanics move with a complete lack of a sense of urgency. Doesnt seem these people value your time, so sorry to say for Sears, Ill avoid this company next time I need tires as well as share my experience with the 4K customers I speak with weekly at my business. Based on the other reviews, looks like this place just cant seem to get their stuff together.
The product has issues, but the service men were efficient and Sears is replacing it with a new product.
There customer service is way below par
Mr. Tim, Center manager was very courteous and quick to get me in and out with tire rotation, alignment and oil change. I’d go back and recommend them for advice.
The service was performed with professional care. The technician was very professional and detail oriented. Very satisfied so far with his service.
So I had a few issues with a service I got here but Tim the manager stopped everything and made sure to fix the issue and do everything possible to make me happy. Overall Im am very satisfied.
Tech arrived on time; refused to perform service as agreed when contract purchased,we dont do that any more; called office to complain and set new call time to correct problem and answering tech said he told field tech not to perform service and refused to let me talk to supervisor. BEWARE: DONT BUY SERVICE CONTRACT AS YOU GET ONLY WHAT THE CONTRACTOR WANTS TO DO, NOT WHATS PROMISED WHEN YOU PAY.
I used this center few years ago since I bought tires from here. Usually took more than 3hrs just for oil change. I asked the service guy, he told me schedule online would not matter as first come first serve. Even worst, on the inspection they broke the latch on air filter box on my toyota highlander and did not tell me about it. I found that out about that few days later. I thought I should be able to find a replacement latch so I didnt make a complaint to them. Unfortunately, I could not find any replacement since it was old model and the only available was the whole air box filter, used from eBay and it would be around a couple hundred dollars!Their tire balance service is terrible. For years, with new tires bought through Sears, my SUV shook on highway and Sears balanced the tires 3 times with no luck.
Excellent....I have used others in the past Sears not being my first thought, wish I had used before. They came late in the afternoon and stayed to 11:00pmto repair A/C system and did the repair for reasonable price and did it right.I trust Sears.
Was skeptical at first because it took quite a while to be acknowledged when we first got here, but the service was quick and thorough. Not the best place in the universe but still pretty good.
The repair went well, but the woman who booked the appointment lied to me and the workman about when the appointment was to be. I insisted not until after 3:30pm and was told that this was fine even though she was setting it up for 1-5pm. However, the workman arrived hours earlier without my even replying to the text saying Ok signifying I was home since I was AT WORK and not allowed to check my phone while there. I happened to see the text that the guy had been dispatched 6 minutes earlier only because I needed to use the stopwatch on my phone while at work. I had to enlist my parents to get there before the guy left my house since Sears wont use a system, which tells you from where theyre coming and where they are along the route to your house. I certainly wont trust a scheduler in the future regarding accommodations!
Great service! He was in time and very helpful on how to show us on how to fix the handle ourselves.
Great experience as always with Sears. Repairman was personable and professional. Many thanks!!The Wilsons
They go above and beyond to help their customers. Especially Vernon. Will definitely be back to get other services done to my car !
Horrible experience. Never waited this long for an oil change. Scheduled appointment and prepaid the day before. Arrived at 11am and now it is going on 1:30 pm with my car not being touched. Funny how all of the cars in front of me were serviced for an oil change & two other cars that arrived 30 mins ago are being serviced. Horrible service. If I didnt pay already I would definitely leave!
Came when scheduled. Figured out the problem which was burned out motor on water pump. Didnt have one on his truck, but requested one from warehouse, picked it up after his other appointments and came back that afternoon and installed it. Understood the need for having it done that day as needed washing machine to do baby clothes as she was out of clean ones.
The problem was no hot water pressure throughout the house. I waited 4 hours for the tech to show up and when he did, he took a look at the water heater & said we needed to call a plumber; that the problem we were having was with the connecting pipes & not the water heater itself, so he was not able to take care of it. It seems to me that Sears should send someone who is qualified to handle any needed repairs to the water heater as well as the connecting pipes that make the water heater do its job. Not happy with this service.
The technician was very knowledgeable and courteous.
Tim was very helpful, not pushy. Gave me a great deal on my alignment and tires!!!
The manager, TIM HAYDEN, helped me the entire time for my visit. I had to come twice for different issues after my Honda dealer tried to screw me over. Tim was very understanding and compassionate in his service. Being young, a student, and someone who works, he valued my time and money. He let me know of deals and discounts when there was one available. He did NOT make me feel taken advantage of like most places do when you are a female. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tim and sears for work needed on your car. I will be going back in the future to keep my car up and running!I also previously got an oil change with the Groupon that is offered. I didnt make an appt but my car was finished in a timely manner. You do have to understand that a lot of people are getting this Groupon offer so go shopping for a little while. It is a first come first serve kinda thing.
Over 3 hours for an alignment. My car was just sitting on the rack for over a hour before anyone touched it. Then I could see the person working on it talking away with other employees not working.
The repairman said I need elbows for the straight exhaust but did not bring any. He said he was in a hurry because he wanted to quit by 4 PM. He put the exhaust piece on and left. He said I would get my bill online but never did. My bill was more than he said it would be. Next day I got my neighbor to help me put on the exhaust right.
Service was Professional, Quick, and Easy. Repair Man, knew his job very Well.... Now its working like the very 1st day. U bought it. Thank you!!!
Today is Feb. 14th, 2015 and I just spent 3.5 hours at this joke of a repair shop. I called Tim the Manager at 1100 and asked him if they were busy, I needed my back brake shoes replaced, he said he had a guy that was just finishing up a job and he could get him on it. Great I said, I got there 30 minutes later and he said he would get on it. This was at the Parks Mall in Arlington Texas. So, I went around the mall for about an hour and came back and my truck was still sitting in the same spot, I asked Tim what is going on, I thought you told me he was going to get right on it, he said he ran into a snag on his previous job. Mine was next, so I went to a restaurant and had lunch, I called from there an hour later and talked to some woman named Terrie, she said she was busy and would call me right back, well, she never did, so I went back to sears, this is almost three hours later and I saw Terrie leaning on the desk, (I knew who she was) I said hey Terrie, I thought you were going to call me back?? She said, oh, I told Tim and he said he was going to call you back, gee thanks. So, I finally get to talk to Tim, I say hey Man I have given you guys 3 hours out of my day and you said you were going to get on my truck, what the heck? Oh he said Im sorry, one guy is on break and I will get him and another guy on it as soon as he gets off break, he said I can have you out of here in about 1.5 hrs. At this time me and another customer who is waiting on these YaHoos to change his battery watch these idiots drive someones car too far across the lift and its front wheels get damaged. At this point Tim tells me they can have my brake shoes over here in about an hour, I finally said, hey, 3 hours is enough put my wheels back on my truck and I am out of here. So we walked out there to the shop and the lazy a## mechanic had the nerve to ask me if I had something to do, which I kindly told that dumb SOB that yes I do. And he walked off, I ended up putting my wheels and hubs on with the help of the Manager Tim He was very apologetic, but that moron should not promise something he cant deliver, if the job is going to take till 5:00 PM then that idiot should say that!! That shop is run by a bunch of idiots! DO NOT take your vehicle up there unless you plan to leave it there all day and expect nothing but lies upon lies spewing from these worthless mechanics, thumbs down on SEARS! Now I know why I quit using these idiots years ago.
Got my car in and out fast and was cheaper than other automotive places
Excellent and friendly service, on time, gave great advice, was very open about pricing. Would definitely use again!
