I’ve held off on reviewing this place for a long time, because although I’ve had a terrible experience there, they’re all really nice people and I’ve wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. At this point, however, I must say that, personally, I wouldn’t recommend Arlington Dental to anyone. I purchased Invisaligns from them starting around 2 years ago because, despite my teeth being pretty straight to begin with, I have a cross bite on one side. The treatment was supposed to take 6-8 months. I’ve worn my trays religiously, and my teeth do track pretty well as long as I wear them, but over and over they make the trays incorrectly. It’s like they don’t even check their work before they give them to me. Again, it’s not a question of my teeth not moving; they do move. But they’ve literally messed up my actual trays over and over for at least a year and a half. Every time I get through the “last” tray, my teeth are still wrong, and the cross bite is still a cross bite. They then have to re-scan, then make a new order for a new set of trays from some distributor in Costa Rica, and I have to wait weeks for the trays to even arrive. When the trays arrive, I subsequently progress through them over the course of at least a couple months each time, my cross bite stays a cross bite, and the cycle repeats. It’s been 2 years. My teeth are still wrong. The biggest issue for me is that they then assume no responsibility, playing the role of the victim, and blame everything on Costa Rica. You’d think they’d come up with a way to solve the problem (it’s been the same problem over and over for forever), or that they’d communicate with Costa Rica to let them know to send a few extra trays that would keep pushing the *one* - yes, one - tooth back farther, just in case their supposed final tray wasn’t right (it never is), but no, they just blame Costa Rica, rescan, waste weeks of your life while you wait for trays that are almost certainly going to be wrong, then waste months more of your time while you go through those trays with nothing to show for it by the end, and they do this over and over. Like, it’s slightly better than before, but still wrong. I should say that my cross bite wasn’t even very severe to begin with when i started 2 years ago, but it was enough to feel wrong and need fixing, and make me want Invisalign. Either way, even if it was, 2 years and counting is a far cry from 6-8 months. The last straw was during the last week when I couldn’t even get ahold of them, despite multiple attempts, in order to make an appointment to get scanned *yet again* for new trays *yet again *, since the ones they gave me left me *yet again* with a cross bite. Anyway, when I finally did hear back, all the appointments had been filled, meaning more wasted time just trying to be seen at all. Everyone has a bad moment here and there, and I am very flexible about that. People should be allowed to make a mistake and given the opportunity to make it right, always. We’re human. But to repeatedly make the same mistake over and over for two years, and then repeatedly blame it on someone else, instead of taking responsibility and taking a little time to analyze the situation and find a way to solve the problem, to me is unacceptable. Like I said, they’re the nicest people, but, given the choice, I’d rather have someone who is rude to me but gets the job done efficiently, rather than someone who is super polite but doesn’t do what you hired them to do. If you’re considering your options, and efficiency matters, I wouldn’t go here. If it isn’t important to you how long it takes, then you’ll probably be fine here.. eventually.

I got Invisalign from here and they are great. The pricing was right. They also helped with properly squaring up with my insurance after I made a mistake. Cleanings and checkups have been on point. Invisalign can be a long and tedious process. The staff has always been very patient, understanding, informative and just always made me feel very comfortable about the whole process. Front desk is great with appointments and followups. Very professional during the time of the pandemic. Dr. Skaria and the staff are the best. Highly recommend!

I have been going to Arlington Dental for over 20 years and Dr. Zulawinski is never in a rush with you and is always pleasant to deal with. The office staff is always courteous and efficient and Izis is an exceptional hygienist that is always gentle and thorough. I highly recommend these folks for your dental care!

My experience with the doctor was great, but the office and receptionists are a nightmare.I went in for an Invisalign consultation and the doctor was very professional and knowledgeable. I subsequently called a few times to ask how long I should expect the treatment to last. Each time, the receptionist told me should would check and get back to me. I never heard anything back. Today I called once more to follow up, and was told they couldn’t tell me and that I would have to come into the office to hear the answer.I also asked to reschedule my appointment. It turned out the doctor was not available on Fridays or Saturday. When I asked if there was anyone at the office who could see me on a Friday or Saturday, I was told that I couldn’t change the doctor I had been “assigned” (mind you I had never asked to be assigned to anyone and had only been seen by a doctor once). When I asked if there really was no way to change the doctors as it was very difficult for me to come in earlier in the week, the receptionist hung up on me.The customer service at this place is a nightmare - among the worst I’ve ever experienced. It feels like you’re doing them a favor for wanting to come in. Unless you enjoy this, I recommending avoiding this practice.

For those of us that are not fond of the dental experience. Arlington Dental Assoc. Do a wonderful job of making you feel so comfortable. Great friendly staff, never wait, and always checking to see if you are comfortable during any procedure. Highly recommend.

Everyone was super friendly. Having days they work after 5pm really helps with setting up appointments. They did a wonderful job and explained everything along the way.

I got my Invisalign done and I’ve had a satisfactory progress with great service. Dr. Brian is great, he really cares about his patients. He makes sure that you are happy with the progress and very informative. The rest of the staff are super friendly too and always ensures every visit is a pleasant one. Easy to make appointments and no waiting for hours. Even with the pandemic, they are able to take proper measure so you feel safe coming into their office. Highly recommended

My husband and I went to Arlington Dental Associates one time before we realized this was not the best-run dental office. Prior to making an appointment I confirmed that our insurance was in-network. It was not in-network and we were met with a larger than expected bill. While the bill wasnt awful, it was still more an anticipated. How did the Arlington Dental Associates handle this situation when we called to ask about the bill? Not well. If fact, after I paid for my services through their Abella pay system (the only option they offered us for payment), I was then charged for my husbands bill and told by their office that they put my husband and I in one file, and therefore I am responsible for my husbands dental bill and they noted that I was responsible for his bill because not only did I set up Abella autopay (I never do that with medical offices because we all know they will charge what they want, when they want to), but that because I am a dependent on my husbands insurance, that I am responsible for his bill. This is not a standard practice and even something that should be allowed as everyone is responsible for their own medical bills! I used to be on my moms insurance as a dependent, but was never charged for her medical bills. In addition to the Abella issues, when I opted to just pay the full amount owed, the accidentally overcharged me by $200+. Yet, another call. In total it took about 4 months to straighten out and Im hoping that they actually did what was needed, but Ill find out this month if Im not still being charged.The dentists are ok, but the front office staff is not and the billing department is quite a mess. I wouldnt recommend them if youre not looking to spend time making a lot of calls to their office during their business hours, which are likely the same business hours you have for your job!You can also see in the reviews below that they have left responses to clients that are unprofessional. One example of a response they left to a customer is copied below and can be found a little ways down in the reviews. Youll also notice the incorrect grammar and typos. This could all been avoided versus This could all HAVE been avoided. Despite the fact that Im upset with them, Im not writing a snarky/rude review as they did to another client in their below response. Im stating my experiences with their office, as clearly and professionally as possible.This could all been avoided by simply scheduling your Invisalign consult in the office, instead of trying to do it by email or phone. I heard your last phone call and I dont think you handled your side of the conversation appropriately. If our hours dont work for you, sorry!

Dr. Brian is the best dentist Ive ever seen. His manner was amazing and I was at ease my entire visit.His office, however, is one of the worst Ive been to. Be aware that even though theyll tell you the accept insurance, theyll leave out that theyre not in network and they never check whats actually covered, instead of calling the insurance they just put it in online.Was hung up on by the front desk after I asked to leave a message for the Dr.Only after begging to leave a message for the manager did I get anything taken care of and even to get that I was asked how I paid to see other dentists in the past. Unless something changes I wont be back.

Arlington Dental is amazing! Unfortunately, I don’t frequent here because they don’t take my insurance. However, I’m undergoing an Invisalign treatment plan. Everyone here is so wonderful! I hate going to the dentist, but they make me feel right at home. They’re extremely knowledgeable and have excellent customer service! I recommend Arlington Dental to anyone in the area!

Ever since I was a kid I always hated going to the dentist and Im always on edge when walking into a dental office. This time it was different, on my first visit to AH Dental, I noticed how modern and clean the office was with a very pleasant and relaxing environment. The staff is extremely friendly and take great care of you. My hygienist was awesome did a great job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Skaria examined my mouth after the cleaning and she to was awesome! Took the time to explain what was causing the sensativity in my molar and showed me a picture on the big screen. Bad news for me a crown is in my future, but the good news AHDA has my back. High quality dentistry and easy to schedule appointments that work for me. Friendly staff. Dr. Brian genuinely cares about his patients and takes the time necessary with me. I recently went for a teeth cleaning after several months of postponing due to the covid pandemic. Dr. Brian has the latest tech to keep his patients and his staff safe. My 6 months dental cleaning was, as usual, a very pleasant experience. The office is certainly mindful of Covid 19 restrictions. Wearing a mask, washing my hands before hygienist began the cleaning process.....all very professional with extremely friendly employees.

Great group of people, professional service!

Super place. The technician was great with my 5 year old and they took care of me as well. They are also handling a decently large client load (I was one of at least 4 patients) while still taking the care and caution necessary to protect patients and employees alike during this pandemic. I felt very safe. No small feat for an office that deals entirely with people with wide open mouths!

I had another pleasant visit at Arlington Dental today. Dr Brian Zulawinski filled a cavity for me which they found at my last visit. So we caught it early and therefore was painless to have filled. The whole staff there are wonderful. Great dentis.

Arlington Dental- top to bottom have made it their mission to be safe, clean, and socially responsible in the midst of this pandemic. I felt very safe as a patient. As a health provider myself, I can see all the technology and processes in place to protect their patients and health workers from the virus. Love this place! My daughter and I were new patients today and we couldnt be happier with the service provided. Everyone (Izis, Elena, reception, Dr. Z., etc.) was so nice and extremely down-to-earth; very personable. We were listened to, had thorough cleanings and were each met by Dr. Z for an evaluation.... professional/great bedside manner, which is hard to find sometimes. If I could give zero stars I would. I’ve been going to Arlington Dental Associates for 5+ years and have never received such terrible care as I did today. I realize this review is very contradictory to the many other reviews but I think it should be known this practice has gone downhill since the departure of Dr. Lallas. The staff is rude, unhelpful, and self involved. They barely look up from their computer screens to help you make your next appointment. The hygienist chastised me for going more then 6 months without coming in. This obviously was not by choice as there is a global pandemic happening. Truthfully you get the feeling the team is just money hungry, looking for anyway to have you pay more. Overall the staff is terrible and the practice really suffers because of it. I personally am never going back and I would never recommend them to a friend.

Very happy with the care my family receives at Arlington Dental Associates. Dr. Brian, Dr. Mark and the entire staff are clearly very passionate about what they do. Everyone is friendly and informative every step of the process. They are extremely patient, especially with my young children who need lots of patients to ease their nerves. Finally, I like that they are not constantly trying to upsell me on “extras” that aren’t necessary.

I’ve been going to Arlington Dental Associates for over 40 years! They have always been amazing! Professional in their practice yet they have always made me feel like family. I have NEVER had a bad experience and because of their patient centered philosophy and the gentle (yet thorough) workmanship of the dentists and hygienists, I have never been afraid to go to the dentist. I have seen many changes over the years and through it all they have stayed cutting edge in dentistry. Our grown children have looked for dentists closer to where they live and have not found any they like or trust as much as Mark and Brian. Our kids will schedule dental appointments for when they know they are in town. Highly recommend you check them out. You won’t be disappointed!
