My advisor was not only knowledgeable and kind, but he helped save me a ton of money. I was able to get the same insurance for two cars through Shelter Ins. that I was paying for one car through Farmers Ins., and free roadside assistance included. 😁

I started insurance with Scotty Baxter, and within just a few months, insurance premiums doubled! Spoke with his office and Scotty Baxter, and problem was not resolved. Scotty Baxter, then told me since i was unhappy, I should seek another agent and/or insurance company. I sure did within an hour. Highly recommended Farmers, I got more insurance coverage on all vehicles and much better rates. I do not recommend Scotty Baxter,. This guy does not need to be in business!!

The company I had previously was increasing my premiums considerably so I began to shop around.I spoke with Scotty Baxter at Shelter Insurance and he made the transition very easy. He was able to get me an extremely lower premium with the same coverage as my previous policy.He was fast, friendly, and very thorough. He also offered life & home insurance....genuinely cares about you and what is important to you.He was so wonderful, my boyfriend changed to Scotty also.I would definitely recommend Scotty Baxter. If youre curious or shopping around, just give him a call.

Im not a fan for shopping for insurance. Scotty Baxter made this chore simple and easy. Very easy to comprehend the policies and the rates were the best ever. I can not give enough praise to this young man and the knowledge he has of his Shelter policies. I now have almost all of my insurance in one spot and i could not be happier. He is definitely running a 5 star plus company.

We switched to Scotty (Shelter Insurance) from Farmers Insurance in early 2017. When we first started talking to Scotty, it would have been more expensive than our current Farmers policy for our homeowners insurance but quite a bit less for our auto insurance - overall, though, it would have been slightly more expensive for both, so we just stayed with Farmers. A month or two later, Shelter partnered with a new provider and Scotty was able to save us over 15% between auto and homeowners policies. ASI, the homeowners provider, gave us a little trouble that would have negated all the money we would have saved (we have chickens) but Scotty went to bat for us and was able to get an exception in the policy and secure the lower premium that we had originally been offered by ASI. We appreciate having an agent who has our back. Recommended!
