This is a very nice gym with great staff. I have been coming to this gym for quite some years now and I have always loved it. However, I have been unable to recommend this gym to my friends and family simply because they close at 9pm. I am also very close to cancelling my membership and going elsewhere.

So, the facility has reopened. I found all the amenities are accessible: swimming pool, jacuzzi, b-ball court, aerobic room, except for the drinking fountains (health reasons). They have installed some slick, new equipment and the place is clean. Its the nicest club in the area. I suggest that folks who are committed to their health should give the club a visit and decide if its the right place for you. Stay safe out there

Great place to work out but how is a place called 24hr Fitness and is only open 16 hours

Great place to get a workout among other motivated people. Had a misunderstanding with staff that could have went wrong but management and involve staff where mature enough to figure out what was the underlying issue and we rectified the situation in a mutually beneficial way. Look forward to seeing everyone at the gym for the next 2 years.

I frequent this location, but I only rated 3 stars because I would like the location to start operating for 24 hrs again. Other local, cheaper gyms are doing so and it has me seriously reconsidering leaving for one of those. Considering, I choose this gym for the child care (which is closed indefinitely ) and the hours, I’m slowly starting reconsider my commitment to 24 hr fitness. As a student and a mom, it’s inconvenient. Change the hours and I will change the rating.

This gym should be open 24hrs hence the name 24hr fitness but its open 0500 to 2100 Im here now at 0619 and we are all standing outside gym, its still closed. What a joke. Going to cancel my membership!

Staff is professional, my only complaint has to do with the images on the monitors. I would much prefer to see either local news or healthy living. I go to the gym for peace, not conflict. I could do without the national news .

This 24 hr is the best! Ive been to the SD one today and I miss the Jess Ranch one! They have so many machines and great staff and Josh is a great trainer. Also Cassidy is very nice and the people r super helpful. I like that they have bands available and a lot of stuff the city doesnt even have. Super quiet and not so crowded too

Schechy, edgy people. Crowded but workable. They have the older crowd from the 24 hr that closed during COVID shutdown. Mix that with the young look at me I workout folks thats always been at this location and you get kind of a off putting vibe.

Great gym! Even when its a little more packed, I feel theres still something for me to do.

NOT ENFORCING MASK POLICY still so wouldn’t recommend working out inside if you haven’t been vaxxed and they’re closing the outdoor facility at the beginning of next month :( also had a worker tell me that I didn’t have to pull my mask up just have it somewhat on my face which does nothing so that’s unhelpful. Lots of people just don’t want to wear their mask here and don’t care about the being respectful of other ppl or their health so definitely a HEALTH HAZARD

I gained a fat tummy the 6 mounths off and away from swimming . Now, what is needed is hot tub tobe in operation. Come on you guises open it up....😀

Not bad right now, since there isn’t too many people, normally I can’t use the machines since people take too long on them, but right now is ok. THEY ARE NOT ENFORCING MASK, and I don’t see anyone cleaning the machines after you finish. So, I always clean before and after I used them. March 2021.

Im a big fan of the spa area. The jets are all busted in the jacuzzi.

Friendly staff, decent packages, Im happy to say the inside and the pool have been open since I joined in April 2020. Not the cheapest option for gyms in the area I admit, but the size and consistency right now was the value for me.

Great gym and amenities. Not usually crowded.

Its not a bad gym. However, they do not seem to enforce their mask policy. So if you are concerned about Covid19, this is not a very safe place to be.

Enjoy the classes offered here that is my favorite activity. There are a variety of machines to accommodate any type of workout you are looking for.

The five stars and kudos goes to Kelly who cleared up a big mess with my membership. Somehow, for many years I was charged for two memberships and overcharged for my wifes membership. I didnt realize it until I took a good look at my bank statements.This could have been swept under the rug or punted towards their corporate office. However, Kelly took the bull by the horns and cleared everything up. It took tremendous effort and know how. Kelly pulled it off spectacularly.I received a refund of back charges. My dues are slightly less than what they should have been. Appropriate apologies and thanks for my patients. My attorney who happened to be overseeing all this while were working on another project was impressed with the outcome and the effort Kelly put forward.24 Hour Fitness not only averted losing a member, but also garnered full support of said member thanks to Kelly.Thank you very much Kelly for all you had done!

Has gone downhill over the past year. Equipment needs to be maintained better. No longer provide towels, pool heater has not been working. For the price is not a good bargain. August 2019

Im a brand new member as a guest of my sister:) Ive read the reviews and feel a lot of the problems must have been addressed:) I mostly used the water areas, from what I saw it was decent. The water arobics instructor Margi is great! I fell about the place laughing at the water arobics class, mostly woman over 60, myself included, singing to the Black Keys! Of all things:)Always the housekeeping could be better, but the pool was heated and the jacuzzi was fine. The jacuzzi tile could have used a scouring, but over all Im willing to keep going:)

I used a guest pass and went with my brother, who was a certified personal trainer, and a member at the gym. I did not feel intimidated or bothered. I enjoyed seeing lots of elderly members enjoying themselves and staying fit. Im glad to see the childcare offered. Theres lots of classes, a pool and many more activities to keep someone fit. If it wasnt so expensive I might make this my local gym but the price is astronomical. Still, I recommend it to those who can afford it. Its in a nice neighborhood and I felt safe.

No judgement environment! The staff is friendly and helpful! My 4 year old LOVES Kids Club! The Kids Club staff is amazing! I feel completely confident that my son is safe and well entertained while I workout in the morning and get ready to start my day! Theres lots of friendly members and always machines available!

MOST of the staff is nice. Notice I said most. Some are very rude and glued to their phones. The facility itself is very clean with the exception of the basketball court. The floor is so dirty its hard to find your footing. A sweeping and mopping at 3 am when no one is using it would go a long way. I took off one more star because they got rid of towel service but didnt lower the rates. They said its for the environment. Dont lie. If you want to save money thats fine, but dont make lame excuses for it. Took off one more star because apparently they dont care about Law Enforcement and wont add the discount to my account.

💪🏾This place gets crowded during certain times of the day, so during peak hours its a chance youll be waiting to use equipment after someone is done. In my opinion late nights or early mornings are the best for access to the equipment, pool, sauna, and everything else thats offered. This particular location is fully loaded!💪🏾

What the? This location has been going downhill. The pool and Jacuzzi doesnt even work! After a good workout I like to rest my weary body with a hot soak in the Jacuzzi then the steam room. Cant even do it at this location. They dont work! Also the steam room gets way to hot. Got me and all the old folks in the steam room running out every 5 minutes to breathe.ALSO KICK OUT WHOEVER IS PEEING IN THE STEAM ROOM IN THIS LOCATION PLEASE! NO MATTER HOW MANY COMPLAINTS WE MAKE TO THE STAFF THEY DONT BOTHER TO INVESTIGATE AND RIDDING THIS PROBLEM!!!

Definitely not to big like one other comment said. If your in it to work our and push yourself you need all the different options. As far as being sold, lets face we get sold everywhere we go...its life, they have to make a living just like you do, If it annoys you dont talk to the reps....just go work out, pretty simple.I have been a member here for years and I love being welcomed when I walk in the door, I love the way my children are treated. Yes sometimes the kids club is too packed and the wait is long, but again this is life. The gym overall is amazing.

I would give a better review but I go early like 4am and the staff seem like they absolutely hate being there. It sucks going into a place that the employees bring down the mood. Other than that I love it, its always clean tons of machines and classes to.choose from. Just wish people were friendly. The employees during the day are really nice, they helped me fix my account when I placed it on hold since I was sick and they kept charging me but they fixed it all. I dont think I would ever change gyms!

One of the best places to exercise up in the high desert. This place is huge - the equipment is fairly new and the entire location is very clean. My wife and I had a membership here for awhile - price is a little high because its a 24 Hour Super Sport. There were always towels available when we walked in. I never had a wait for the running machines (big problem I had with LA Fitness down the hill) and never had a usage time. The negatives I have are - the air was stuffy and usually very warm even in the winter. Also, trying to quit is a lot harder than it should be (via telephone (long hold) and they try REALLY REALLY hard to keep you). If youre looking for a gym - Id recommend you to this one. Showers were super clean - equipment was A+, towels readily available, and no waits for the machines I used (mostly running).

Went in for info on a membership. The rep I spoke to was nice, but a little pushy. Asked if they offered employee discounts at all. I have a military id, I work for target and radioshack. She exclaimed, oh yes, thats great, heres are special employee programs... Offered me $0 down, and $39.99 a month. I brought out my cell phone, went to the 24 fitness website, and showed her that its the same deal they offer to everyone. She tried telling me that it was a special deal that you could only get there in that location and that the offer online was different. We went back and fourth... I told her...give me a deal and Im in. No luck. Also, Ive been back a few times, and Ive talked to a few other reps... They act like its the best thing in the world, just cause its a super sport or whatever... Just give me a membership!

Broken machines dont get repaired. Locker room floors, lockers, showers are typically filthy. Not unusual to come across a used condom, or a bandaid. They recently took away the towel service. Ive been an all clubs member for over 20 years. This location started out nice, but has gone downhill since. Surprising with cheaper options opening up in the high desert.

This gyms lack of customer service, and utter lack of customer value, ultimately forced my decision to cancel the my memberships of my brothers and my own. Apparently theres a 15 charge in the event your payment was declined. For whatever reason. I WAS a 5 year member. But the one time this happened in 5 years and the gym couldnt waive the fee once.Ill take my business elsewhere.My best friend is a member of Golds Gym, Ill be taking my business there.

Ive been a member here for 3 years. Staff has been great until my encounter with Anna at the front desk this week. I dont know if she is new, but one late evening she turned up the music so loud I could not hear my own personal music in my earbuds. She switched the music to a Trap music station that was at least 1/3 louder than the usual 24hr music station. I told her the music was really loud, much louder than usual, and that I couldnt hear my own music on my headset because of it. She informed me that someone else asked her to turn the music up and that they sold other earbuds at their store if I was interested. (wth?!)At some point during my workout the music returned to the usual acceptable volume, which was back to the official 24hr Fitness music station. When I left, I made a point to let Anna know and hear what the usual volume should be. She immediately became defensive and started showing me the different volumes you could choose from under the desk. I dont know why that mattered. She said again, that when people tell her to turn it up, she turns it up, and that if I wanted it turned down, all I have to do is ask to have it turned down and she would do it. But in fact, that is not what she did for me. I reminded her of what she said to me and that I didnt appreciate her telling me that I could by some more earbuds from their store. Then she began this circular argument about having to turn up the volume when people request her to turn up the volume and that all I had to do was request her to turn to it down. When I reminded her again, that is exactly what I did and that I didnt appreciate her added commentary about the earbuds, she remained defiant. She then rudely suggested I do a second workout to blow off some steam! This is the worst customer service Ive ever experienced at any 24hr fitness, in my decades of being a member.

Big gym well equipped and the people actually put there weights back

Compared to other gyms in the area, this gym is overly priced. The machines are not well kept. A lot of the features on the machines are broken. Most of the TVs do not work. They offer little to no TV channels. Not impressed with the child care. They have yet to make any useful improvements. It is often pretty hot in the club. Your supposed to be paying for quality, yet, most of the other gyms in the area, who charge half as much, have newer and better equipment.

Im visiting from the Los Angeles county and i am very impressed with the cleanliness of this gym. Very neat and orderly. the staff is great.

Awesome place to work out, always clean and kept up, the friendly staff will help you out with anything, I was a member of worlds gym for the past 3 years, finally made the seitch. 24s monthly fee might be more but its definitely worth it compared to others gyms in high desert, thus gym is the best of the desert

Was with 24 for a couple of years unfortunately I had to cancel my membership because it was way too overpriced. My issue is with the customer service. I went into the Gym about 8 or 9 months ago to cancel my membership and all of a sudden i start getting charged again in March. I called the customer service line and was given the hardest time. They talked to me like I was two and informed me I had to wait 3-5 business day for a store manager to call me back and he would deside to give me a refund or not for a membership you can clearly see I am not using. I am extremely disappointed in the way they treated me and would not recomend this overpriced money sucking gym to anyone.

I used to go to this gym, too many members and the wait time to use a machine can be a quite bit. Overall is a good spot to do your work out.

Overall a great gym for the price. They have an assortment of classes, cardio and weight equipment, free weights, pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. They also offer child care during the day. My kids really enjoy going, which serves as an extra push to go in. I also like the fact that theyer open 24/7, provide towels, and have locker rooms (need to bring your own lock).

Good gym, have plenty of cardio machines. Lifting equipment is a little out dated. Get pretty busy during afternoon/evening. They have a suana and steam room so thats a plus. Studio, basketball court and cycling studio. So it hits all the marks. Equipment needs to be updated and itll be perfect.

I had several problems with this 24-Hour Fitness location number one they sell towels they do not give you towels so if you do not have a towel make sure you bring one. Other than that random teenagers tried to steal my stuff but luckily because Im from La I keep an eye on my stuff... they should have security but they dont plus there was cops outside cuz they were fighting going on too many issues with this location

Jordan is a lier and a thief. Neglected to tell me that on a month to month plan the second member had to pay theres in full and wont do a payment plan and neglected to tell me about the extra $45 fee per person that he never showed me on the contract page. When I first started I told him I only wanted to do 3 months at the end of the 2nd month I finished my payments and told him I was done with the gym. At the end of the third month I still got charged, come to find out he never submitted my cancellation request. Do not go here they are way over priced and thiefs

Had so many friends that used this gym that I decided to give it a try and I have to say that all bad things Ive heard about this place are true. Their child care is a joke i actually worked as a nanny for 4 years the people who work in child care were terrible they didnt watch kids at all there was kids screaming and fighting when I was there i would not trust any of the workers there with my kids in that environment. Now, as far as the gym itself it wasnt as big as I expected it to be and even though I never had to wait around for a machine all they really had was like basic machines there wasnt really much basically just treadmills, stairs, elliptical, and bike and then they had weights there was no rowing machine, leg bench nothing like that so it was difficult for me because I usually spend like 10-15 mins on a machine and then I move to new machine so I ended up not having much variety in my work out due to lack of machine variety at this location and when Id finish my work out there was always towels and lockers were nice but showers were dirty all the time. Pool was nice Im a big swimmer but usually there would be crowd of guys just sitting in hot tub or sauna/steam rooms and they were always loud,rude, and just disgusting they always made me feel really uncomfortable.

This is a nice gym but I go to the lower end 24 hours fitness because I dont need the extras

I have went to the 24 hour fitness gym in Monterey park,ca,Arcadia,ca in the past. I moved to Apple Valley,ca on Dec 3,2014.Everything was good until the end of July in 2015. When this really fat. Nanny at kids club. Dark skinned. Maybe Mexican.I am Peruvian by the way.Throw me out of the gym. I pay $150.00 per month.That price is with military discount.I was stopped from my workout.I was told to leave the gym at Apple Valley,ca.My four year old daughter was not listening.I told the nanny manger about it.she is white with big curly hair. She was so rude.she said everyone pays a lot money for the gym. None of the nannies have to pay attention to any children. My child is going to do badly in school.Every Thursday when the lazy nanny would work. I would have to leave after 30 min. When I payed for two hours of nanny service.Today I was told my two year old son is now suspended from kids club at Apple valley,ca because he does not listen. I was told by a new nanny that all two years old obey at all times. That why there a saying terrible twos.I am canceling my membership because its a headache to deal with the nannies at kids club. I go there to relieve stress. Not to get more stressed out. I was never throw out of the gym. Because my kids dont obey from any other 24 hour fitness. It a shame because I now live in Apple Valley. Now I have to drive far to a gym in Victorville. Or workout in my house. Which is inconvenient since my four year old daughter goes to preschool in Apple Valley,C.A.

Dig the staff, and the restrooms, pool area, and equipment are all fairly well kept up, and the open layout makes everything easy to find.

I joined for a while then couldnt get there anymore, I called to cancel.. they say you cant cancel by phone..I go in the only day I can,. They say I cant help you, theres no manager to cancel my membership. They can sure take your money over the phone, but you cant cancel anytime you need to..there taking there Money though..this system is awful..Ill never go there or refer anyone to this place..so discouraged.

I just went today for a 3 day pass. Im still thinking about if I should enroll into 24 hour gym. I like to go to the classes but I was not satisfied with zumba. Its more for an older aged group. I am 24 years old. It was just not as intense as I thought it was going to be. Another negative is that the men and women have to share the sauna room!! I do not like that at all. The gym is a a lot smaller then the LA fitness I use to go to. It is a little crowded too. Its a little too warm in there too, I dont know if they do that to make you sweat more. Im still thinking about if I should sign up with them.

Bathrooms are dirty. Drains not setup right in showers so the shower floors have almost an inch of water on them at all times. Quite a bit of equipment out of order. Overcrowded. I really need a local gym and hope to find something else in the area.

I started on May 22,2016.so far, Im happy.when I have asked for help I received the information and help.ive been encouraged to step outside of my box.i go off peek times.I have not used the showers BC Im not a public facilities user.i do not use public restrooms (unless I look like a sloum skier at the starting gate), I will however say, they appear well kept.the dispensers were full.I only pay $39.99 per month. I hold a military dependant card but was not given a discounted rate as I dont have TriCare medical insurance. I have not seen the female manager described in another post as yet, it doesnt mean she doesnt exist, it just means I havent seen her yet.Even though I could be any of the Personell Granny they are all very helpful, encouraging and supportive and have, again, encouraged me to try a yoga,zumba,spinning, & Silver Sneakers® group class... I,personally,am not ready for that just yet..i will eventually but not right now.There are a lot of rows of different solitary machines Im not familiar with so I cant name them all but there is spinning bikes, I thought it was a bike but its a spinning machine but was gently shown the correct machine I was looking for. on June 1 the gentleman who was helping me on my treadmill encouraged me to try to Run, I did.0.3mi at 3.8 mph! Better than what I did do which was power walking.As for Kids Klub, children will act up when not in the presence of their authority figures.Its not Terrible Twos its a lot of stuff plus you as an outsider cant control a child youve just met! That has to be earned. Also, if a child is doing somethingwrong that the adult doesnt want the child to do... diversionary tactics always work well, BC children at that age have the attention span of a gnat! Get them involved in hammering or circle games, ring-around-the-rosie is always a good one for that age. Keeps them occupied for minutes!Anyway, Im quite happy with the facility. Living in this Crap-hole desert with the temps in triple digits with 0% humidity its Hot like Hell.so, Im happy to be able to at least get out of the house for an hour to go do something other than spend money I dont have on stuff I dont need at the joke they all call a Mall or take my life in my own hands at the Lake in Hesperia or Spring Valley. choose your poison - ya know?

I lost my husband April 2015. i became very ill . went to my doctor she said i was very seriouly depressed and gave me meds, but said this will only help temporarly. and recommeded going to the gym. so i joined 24 hr fitness. it was the answer to my prayers. the frist day i went to the pool aquatics. and there i met the most caring and loving people. at first i felt like i didnt belong there but i was wrong. I have never felt so welcome in any other place with alot of people. this is the place to be to renew yourself. i have lost weight and inches with all the programs and equipment to help do this . And im 63 yrs old with arthitis. i highly recommend 24hr fitness in Apple Valley Ca.

Tired of being charged after i cancelled my membership. The smells in the locker room make me gag! guys in their underwear in the pool are gross. very unprofessically ran for sure.

It would be a huge improvement if one person would check machines daily and at the very minimum place an out of order sign on broken machines.

Big, clean, towels, nice staff.

Today was a bad experience, the Jacuzzi was broken and not a single warning or sign was posted at the entrance or the pool area.
