My wife happened to find Howard on a Facebook add. We took my truck in and have been going to his shop ever since - approximately 10 years now. All employees are excellent and they get my vehicle back to me in a timely manner. And his prices have always been fair. I highly recommend his company for any mechanical needs you may have. My Buick Rendezvous was bogging down. I could get it up to speed but would take a long time. I drove it that way for about 6 months because I thought it would be very expensive to repair. I was afraid of spending 1000.00 dollars on diagnostics and finding out it would be to expensive to fix. I did take it to another mechanic before and he had it for a week and could not figure it out. I ended up taking it to B&H and they had it figured out repaired and back to me within a day and a half at a price lower than I expected.

Im new to the area so when I had car troubles my in-laws said take it to B&H Auto. Their shop is about a mile from my home so I went there. Howard listened to me explain what I thought the problem was and said he would look at it and call me with the diagnosis. I missed his call, so he sent me a text with the diagnosis and his price to make the repairs.I gave him the ok to proceed and he said it would take a day to get the parts in. He called the next day and said come get it!!Great price, no suprises or add-ons to the bill. Great service, kept me informed every step of the way. Finished on time. Oh, by the way, they are some really good mechanics!!What makes this a 5 star business, is the fact that they called me a day later to follow-up, and make sure the car was repaired to my satisfaction.

I was told that I would need a new transmission, quoted $5800. Since that was a lot of money, I called around, then I was referred to B&H Auto by one of my daughters friends. He gave me a quote for a new transmission which was so much less that I drove 46 miles to drop it off. These guys are so honest they suggested that they should service it first and if that didnt work, then replace the transmission. I gave then the go ahead to service it and that was all it needed. I went from a quote of $5800 (from the other guy), to spending less than$200. They could have just replaced the transmission, made all that money on labor, instead they did the honest thing and saved me tons of money. I can not recommend them enough. If youre looking for honest repair at a fair price, Id make that drive. They are so worth it

B & H Auto are total angels!!! Had work done at Big O on Crismon in Mesa. I had an accident and went to Big O to have them check out the damage and to ensure my vehicle was safe. I left with a quote for my ac totaling over $1500!!Come to find out Big O missed telling me my strut was damaged, as well as well as another needed repair they missed. Mind you Big O just replaced my struts two weeks prior to my accident. They also over charged me for the work they did at an astronomical price!My ac was fine when going into Big O and not working when I left. Howard showed me what they did and to me and fixed it for under a $100.I will never go anywhere else Im a customer for life.

Personally I had a good experience they did what I asked and did a good job. Did not feel I got any for of runaround. I know when things dont go right it is always easier to blame the shop but I felt they did there best in my situation. Thankfully my repair did not run into any issues.

It is so hard to find honest and reasonably priced auto repair shops. B & H Auto is both of these! The employees are courteous and helpful. They made it quick and easy for me to get the repairs done on my car and get me back on the road. The owner is very rude to his employees and his customers. At first he gave us a price of $700 to fix our car. The next day he raised his price another $300. Would not let my dad in the shop to hear the conversation. I highly recommend you guys have your vehicle checked somewhere else.

Avoid this shop. They diagnosed my vehicle, and told me Id have to spend over $400 to fix the problem. Afterwards, my vehicle had the same problem. When I questioned the results, the owner and his mechanic came unhinged, and said it was somehow my fault that they did the wrong repairs. The following day I took my vehicle to Johns Auto Service in AJ, and they fixed the original problem for only $90. Be aware, that there are companies who write professional reviews for shops like this. I found this out the hard way. Another thing, before you make an appointment with B&H, drive by and take a look at their shop. You will find a junkyard with a few walls, and some blue tarps for a roof. After my experience with B&H, I took another look at their reviews, and this time I scrolled all the way through them, and found many extremely negative reviews from real customers. Dont say I didnt warn you.

Ive take both my vehicles to them and they seem to be very honest and straight forward, which I truly appreciate!! I told my mom, aunt and a friend about them, and they all had a similar experience. So dont judge the book by its cover. It might be a small shop but they have come through in a big ways. Tell them Andrew with the blue Ram sent you..hahaha jk. I doubt they would know who I am without more details but hey, just for fun, tell them anyways!

Second time they have worked with my Nissan Frontier. These guys are seriously the most honest and professional I have ever seen. I highly recommend you first take your vehicle here and ask them for an estimate. You will be happy you did. If you are looking for mechanics wearing white gloves and a tux, go some place else. One of the most consistent, honest, and fair auto shops I have ever come across. Ive taken my car there to get something repaired that another big name auto shop told me that needed to be fixed, and rather than just fix what I told them, they actually checked and found the item did not need to be repaired, saving me a large amount of $$. This is how they consistently go over and above normal customer service. I was originally referred to B&H several years ago from a family member, and now I refer anyone asking me for a great, honest auto repair facility to B&H as well.

I Love B & H they are amazing i had my truck worked on and while repairing it they noticed I needed all new brakes and a rotor, I didnt have the money to do it....but knowing I drive around with my kids Howard replaced all new brake pads for free for my familys safety!!! temporary fix until I can afford it. 😁 definitely will return for any future repairs!

First time I went to replace a timing belt. They were good. That is, until I found a bottle of collant in my engine. Defintely not mine... Second time- Brought it in at 7:30am. They have a policy (pictured) that they will have it done by 6pm. They didnt follow that policy. They were not done with my car till 1pm the next day.I would hope they make a better effort keeping their customers informed. My call to them at 5pm (when they closed) was when they bothered to tell me my car wasnt ready and I wouldnt be getting it back till the next day.I dont know if they would have called me to tell me, but I do not believe they would have.I need clutch work done on my car, but I dont think Ill be going to them for the work.Basically:-Bad communication-Bad time line expectation2008 Silver PT Cruiser.__________________________________________EDIT: I recieved a call from the owner this evening because of this review.I greatly appreciate Howard for reaching out. I told him those reasons are perfectly acceptable, but the lack of communication was my biggest issue. He agreed it could have been better and apologized. He said that if he knew I needed my car, he would have put it back into working order and given it the day of.Howard is sincere and he has restored some of my faith in B & H. I will be scheduling a time for my clutch some time in the next few weeks to get it worked on.

B&h is best shop in East valley period. You can go get you car fixed, and he apparently has a God fearing employee there that will take his time away from his day and pray with/ for you. Shhhh gotta love loke he has put his hands on me a many a times and made everything better

We have been bringing our cars here for about 5 yrs now and wouldnt even consider going anywhere else. Even when we think something in particular needs fixed, they call and tell us that it didnt need anything and what they did instead. They could easily have taken advantage and we wouldnt know the difference, but they dont. Thats happened more than once. Their work is good, they know what theyre doing and if you check around for prices, they are still the best deal. They aint kidding when they say bringing honesty back. They do the right thing even when no one is watching. Their integrity is superb!

I love them! They are a family business, and you can tell. They work with you, and they do impeccable work. Ive been trying to make a habit of working auto care into the list of mandatory things I need to get done regularly. They set up appointments, they will tell you when a good day is to come in. And they get it done as fast as they can while doing good work. I couldnt reccomend them fast enough to people who need a mechanic.

Super honest business.

A repair shop in another city screwed up the brakes on my truck...twice. We managed to limp into BandH by chance. The owner indicated my brakes were still messed up and would have to be completely replaced due to the damage caused by parts installed by the other shop. He negotiated on our behalf with the prior shop, the warranty company, and the parts store trying to get them to bring my truck back to the condition it was in prior to the other shop working on it. I did recieve a check from the parts supplier but no satisfaction from the warranty company nor the other shop. I think the truck is now operating nicely and highly recommend BandH. I will make a point of returning prior to my next trip pulling our 16k pound rig. Thank you BandH.

I went to every shop in town, including a dealership to work on my AC last summer. They all quoted me from $1800 to $2200 leaving me confused as to what the problem really was, I dont think anyone knew. I am a really busy person, I dont have much time because I work 12 hour days 5 to 6 days a week. I was at the point where I told my wife just to get it fixed, I didnt care how much at that point. Our Daughter goes to school nearby, my wife took it to B&H, it was convenient and dropped it off. She told them we would like to have it back soon, they said the next day. It was done, it cost I believe less than $500, it wasnt even a part that the experts said it was, the guys at B&H were all over it. I didnt comment last year when they did the work, Im telling you one year later because I want you to know that I am 100% satisfied, my AC is perfect. We only trust these guys, I will not take my vehicle to anyone else unless it is a factory item or under warrantee. I dont even want to tell anyone about this place, they are busy enough but they deserve it, I got nothing but 5 stars for them.

Scam artists at best! Beware!My wife brought my truck in to have the AC system charged at their advertised rate of $65 + the extra r-134 after I changed the leaking AC line myself.Truck arrived around 11:30 for a job that should take no more than an hour and a half.Shortly thereafter, my wife recieved a call with a quote of $170 to replace leaking o-rings because I used the OEM quality rings that came with the new line instead of Ford OEM.Knowing instantly that this was a money grab, I reached out to 2 other shop owners and they both concured that it was absurd.So, my wife returns to pick up my truck and refuse service. They charged $35 for no work after they were denied their $105 markup for unnecessary repairs.My truck went directly to another shop where the job was completed for $68, the second shop did an evac and vacuum and confirmed no leaks.So, basically, B and H came up with a story to try and get money out of me for something that didnt need to be done, and I can only assume they did this because my wife brought the truck in instead of me.

If you want a fight this is your place!!! Not only do they verbally abuse loyal employees, the son of the owner talked down to my husband and cussed him out when he was questioned on his work! We went to b&h to get help on our truck that my husband could not figure out the problem, he can usually figure out any issue wrong with our vehicles. But we took it here and they said they fixed the problem, truck is still doing the same thing, and the son proceeded to blame my husband after we tried to get the problem fixed, saying all the stuff he did messed it up. And he fixed it... well obviously not, the point is customer service and professionalism is trash, do not go here!!!

Went there to replace a Honda Odyssey 2014 side mirror driver side. We provide the parts the entire side mirror which we order in Amazon. They were very friendly knowledgeable and resilient. The guy who replaced it is the brothers owner (sorry didnt got his name). He said they are working with a lot of old cars. So when he was putting on new one the wiring wont fit to the vehicle. So he needed to re wire it in order to make it work. I love the resilience of this guy. If we went to the other places they would easily told us to order a right parts because it will not fit and come back some other time. This guy found way to make it work that save us a lot of time and money. Kudos to you sir. Thank you so much. I would definitely recommend this to everyone. Just for the fact that it save a lot of time, money and very honest of their craft.

I walked into shop for a Diagnostic, told the owner the issue I was having he walked outside with his scanner, said give me a sec and came back with a fuse for my fan clutch popped it in and cleared code. Told me I was all good and drive it a bit before going to emissions. I did and passed! Best part he refused to take a dime from me. Thanks B & H

This repair shop is wonderful. I called Wednesday to get a quote and asked if it could be repaired on Saturday. Just returned from having my car repaired and I am so happy with the service I received. The repairs were completed in a timely manner and my bill was 30 dollars less than my qoute. Never had that happen before. The total cost was approximately $200 less than the car dealer repair shop quote. I am already telling people about my very positive experience at this shop. I also put a review on the Better Business Bureau site.

Spoke with Howard and he was great. Brandon worked on my special edition car and treated it awesome, he did what Firestone (wanted to charge me $400) and Automotive Diagnostic Specialties ( wanted to charge me over $1700) for something Brandon repaired in less than hour, Howard only charged me $20 so yes I will be back again!!!

They are very very trustworthy! Dougs transmission quoted $850 to replace my fan clutch. Took my vehicle to B and H and they replaced my water pump for $350. Was no problem with fan clutch. All my vehicles will be going here in the future
