Skipperbuds will be my boat dealer moving forward! They have great customer service and made the whole process of buying a boat exciting and easy. Matt M was an excellent salesmen and walked me through the process. If it wasnt for him I would of never purchased a boat. Matt not only answered my questions he walked me though the whole process and updated me along the way.Matt introduced me to Jess B in finance who was just as easy and helpful to work with. They made sure my boat was ready before the due date. I couldnt be happier with my experience at skipper buds. Thank you!

Sales experience was excellent. Service is awful! I have been dealing with an issue with a new boat since I took possession spring 2020. They claim to have replaced a part last fall and I have the exact same after launch this year. The service department and manager refuse to return my call or respond to my emails. Their web site claims SkipperBuds is working to make boating fun and hassle-free for EVERYONE. Dealing with the service department has been an incredible hassle and a waste of time.

Just recently purchased a boat thru Laura. It was great experience. Also she quickly sold our older one so we could upgrade to the new big one. Thank you! Highly recommend!

We had a horrible experience. Put money down on a boat and for over a month basically had to hound anyone to respond to us. they were waiting on the seller for documentation, understandable but COMMUNICATION IS KEY! set a date to sign documentation then proceeded to wait an hour and a half to leave with the boat because the service center was not notified we were picking up today. I know we are not top customers spending a ton on a boat but we were not treated like valued customers and our boat buying experience was not fun and exciting. I wouldnt even recommend this place to people I dont like.

Worst major purchase ever!We thought we were going with a good dealer and were getting another year of warranty because of their volume. From the false promise of someone to show the us boat to the horrible service while we were waiting for our brand new boat to be fixed, the worst dealer ever. NOBODY EVER FOLLOWED UP so here we are. I wouldnt recommend this dealer to anyone. And the GM could not care less.

We bought a new boat here in August of 2020 and paid to have it stored in-doors from fall until May 2021. During that time, we paid to put in a trim gage and depth finder, and asked that they give us the two other poles to hold up the cover (which they forgot when we bought it). The last day to pickup our boat (before an additional storage charge) was May 15 so we came to pick it up that day. We had called 3 times in advance to ensure the boat was ready and they did the work / list of things we paid them for while it was stored. Our boat was in the water and ready to go when we got there.We opened the cover just as much to get to the drivers seat and check the new gages. There was no trim gage installed, no pole covers, and was filthy on the inside (there was a table top turned over on the ground collecting dirt, dust, debris and stained from pooled up water sitting in it). We tried talking with management to get the trim gage installed before we left. They mentioned they must have forgotten and would do it quickly. We waited and waited. No one there was communicating to us what was going on and why it was taking so long so we were forced to aimlessly walk around their two buildings trying to find someone to talk to (at this point there was no mechanic in the boat, our engine cover and boat cover was off and it was raining). We waited nearly two hours before it was installed.While we were pulling our boat out of the water and onto the trailer, the manager that day, was very helpful and gave us some valuable tips on towing.To top it off, when we got home from the dealership, we found a tear in one of the seats (the boat was practically new when we brought it in for storage). We are still waiting to hear back from them to fix it!

Outstanding customer service! Everything is delayed because of COVID-19 and high demand for boats but everyone at Skipper Buds was as accommodating and did what they could to make my experience as pleasant as possible

Love Skipper Buds! Got a great deal on a boat. So much fun to have pool parties in the saltwater pool. Great boat neighbors. We have a great group of friends to hang out with.

A bit pricey from a buddy I know that keeps his boat here. Otherwise a decent area to store your boat and launch off. $20 launch fee for boats without slips. Looks like its under construction for a couple of things that needed fixing but still can access everything. Great pool they have to cool down in.

Really cool staff! Very knowledgeable and helpful! We had a lot of questions and they answered all of them! They helped us narrow down our picks by asking us a few things that we were looking for in a watercraft. We decided to go with a Barletta 23 foot tri-toon!! Dominick is the best!! If your looking for some fun on the water, these guys can help!!

No issues with their staff or products, but their prices are jacked insanely! They literally sell boats $8k-$10k over their selling value. Seems like it works for rich folks.

I worked with Jennifer to source a hard to find part at the last minute before a long family vacation and can not say thank you enough. She went above and beyond to make sure I got the part I needed late on a Friday afternoon. It is reassuring to see that customer service like this still exists. This is the best Harbor on the chain, They even have a salt water pool...I have bought three boats from here and loved them all. Love my 24 2018 Sylvan with a Mercury 250 V8 ..

We just rented a pontoon here and they gave us THE BEST service ever. Not exaggerating but the lady working there was very helpful. She was not discrimanotory in any way and made us feel comfortable. When the driver was pulling in they helped us out and they helped out a passenger that fell in the water as she was trying to exit the pontoon. They handled the situation perfectly when we werent able to park and They specifically said get them to safety first since we had small children. I absolutely loved them and I will be coming back. Thank you guys!! 😘😘😘

Bought our boat on consignment about a month ago. They Felt like the most honest and trustworthy dealer right from the start. They ended up surpassing my expectations. Didnt think there were still places like this out there that you do not feel pressured or as if you are being conned into something. Love our boat and we will be back to buy out next one...hopefully not for at least a few years ;-)

I have never seen such poorly run business. Absolutely zero communication. Was told 3 times the boat would be in the shop the next day. Over 3 weeks later I was told the boat was ready and had been tested. Drove down to go on a sea trial that failed in less than 10 minutes. Please do not waste your time here. There are much more competent dealers in the area

DO NOT TAKE YOUR BOAT HERE AND HAVE THEM SELL IT. The worst customer service we have ever received. They do not tell the truth and when you confront them about it they do not apologize and get hostile and rude. Please listen to this review. I wish we would have listened to the other bad reviews and never taken our boat to them. They will contact you and say we can sell it. They cant and wont after you discuss the untruths with them. Go somewhere else.

I originally gave this place a 1 star but after they have fixed the problem I have decided to change my rating. They had a guy by the name of Jody who was the issue. Now that they have replaced him with a new manager named Kevin I have not had any issues. Kevin really know how to get things done and take care of the customers. He is professional, stop on and keeps to his word. A year age I would not even think about buying another boat here but now I think I will be buying a third boat from Skipper Buds. Thank you for all your help Kevin.

I gave them a second chance and they screwed that up . I dont understand how the general manager or service manager even have jobs . I run a service dept for vehicles, and if I conducted buisness like these clowns. I would be out of a job. No follow up no call . They dont care once you purchase . Your garbage to them. Skipper buds is a joke . And if corporate cared they would call me and I could help them fix it .. what a joke . Try munson marine or some other competition. Skipper buds does not deserve your hard earned money . Trust me .

Picked out and purchased a boat January 2018.A panel needed to be replaced, August 2018...still no part!!!I was in contact with the salesman all summer emailing as well with the service guy.Neither one of them did there job.The part came late July, broken. The service guy said He’ll order a new one, never heard from him again.I reached out to the salesman. Service guy was fired, go to your nearest skipper buds, email from salesman.I get in contact with my SB in my area, and find out as well as not being able to do the service repair by ordering a part...the warranty had never been put into my name!!I brought this up with the salesman.He said, sorry not my department either...I am absolutely dissatisfied and disappointed with the lack of customer service, what a shame.Selling a boat doesn’t stop with the sale.Next boat, I’ll make sure to look further than just the purchase...
