We hired 3 Sons for a full kitchen remodel. We had gotten quotes from about four different places and went with them because Ty impressed us with his prompt communication and dedication to our project. He was also able to work within our budget more than the other places. The entire crew was amazing to work with. They began demo in mid-April and Ty made sure they had the project finished by the end of May for our daughters graduation party. We absolutely love our new kitchen and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a remodel!

We were very pleased with the work they did replacing our deck. We received a weekly status in the weeks leading up to our project, and daily updates on changes needed when weather was uncooperative. Communication was exceptional. Quality of materials was excellent.All people we spoke and worked with were pleasant, respectful and considerate of our home. The work area was thoroughly cleaned up following. A walk through was done with us upon completion to ensure that we were happy with the finished product, and we appreciated their attention to any small details.I would recommend without any hesitation, and will use them again in the future if we need work done!

My house was in need a new roof. The response time of the estimate and roof replacement was excellent. I even had them replace the gutters at the same time. My wife was impressed with the fact that not one of the plants in the landscape were affected by the work.

The scope of work included framing, insulation, duct work, plumbing, dry-wall and electrical. Communication with the 3SC team was regular and professional. Work was completed in a timely manner. We hired 3 Sons Construction to build a 17 x 21 deck located off of the back of our garage and existing 3 season sun-room. Ty gave us a clear idea of the stages of the construction process and an estimated timeline. The attention to detail was impressive, the team built the deck as if they were building it for themselves. The construction team was great to work with, they were friendly, professional and answered our questions along the way. We are very pleased with the finished product and love the wraparound stairs!

After the storm of 2020 tore through our place, we immediately called 3 Sons for help. Tesir was prompt and knowledgeable on all the projects that had to be done to get us back up and running. We needed a new roof, new siding on the whole back side of our house, and a completely new deck. Among everyone else who had been hit and the obstacles we all faced, Tesir pushed through to maintain my wants and needs through all the changes we had. He consistently kept us up to date and made sure I agreed with each step. We came under budget and showed off all his work at my sons graduation party. Ty transformed my garage. I asked for insulation, heater, new lighting, a floating bench strong enough for the tough boys, and some other water damage repaired. 1) He made sure the attic and all the walls were insulated correctly. I have saved $40 a month on my electric bill. Ty even went out of his way to let me know what wasnt properly done. 2) Repaired and fixed all the water damage. 3) Put in a high grade profession heater and lights. Was HONEST about a price discrepancy from the original quote on the heater. Fairly reduced the price. His electrician who installed the heater was professional and answered all my questions. I can ask LOTS of questions. 4) Sealed up all the cracks between the foundation and wall with trim. Now when I use the leaf blower for the leaves, I dont have dry wall dust and dirt flying everywhere. 5) That bench can hold 400lbs!!! I did pay extra for such a sturdy floating bench. Thats what I wanted. 6) He handled the finishing details of mounting what I needed. 7) He referred me for the apoxy floor. He walked me through the process. OVERALL Ty kept me updated during the whole process. He is honest and fair. If you want quality, Ty is your guy. Check out the before and after pictures it is just amazing.

Our bathroom was always a major eyesore to my husband and I. Now it might be my favorite room in the house! From start to finish, 3 Sons was amazing to work with. We had multiple quotes come in for a basement finish and deck build and Ty was by far the best one we received. We started the project on time and then COVID struck. The hiccups we encountered were not a result of Ty or the guys, but issues with stalling due to delayed inspections and subcontractors schedules. Ty always advocated for us with the subs and worked to get things moving and on the schedule as quickly as he could. There were a few things that needed addressed and Ty was quick to come in and make things right. Everyone on his team that we encountered was respectful and great to work with. Overall a good experience and would recommend!

We hired 3 Sons Construction to add a door from our bedroom out to our patio and build an additional patio cover over our patio. The end result is amazing! Ty and his crew were great to work with. He made sure all of our needs were met throughout the entire process. Our patio is more than we imagined it would be.

3 sons worked with us during the COVID crisis. We have high risk kids so the team took that serious and really had our best interests in mind. Constant communication on activities were greatly appreciated. We had a difficult bathroom to build, however, our visions aligned flawlessly and the final product is fantastic. Too many great things to say about this business. 3 sons fit me into their schedule even though the owner was expected to be out of town. They quickly put in an egress window to keep my project plan on finishing my basement moving. The owner was a fantastic communicator and did the work for a very affordable price. They left my house cleaner than when they came. I’ll go to 3 sons for all my construction needs moving forward. If you are in the Des Moines metro they should be at the top of your list of companies!

We bought a house from Ty when he owned Teck builders. It was a nightmare from the beginning and looking back I wish we would have never did it. There were a lot of promises made that never happened. His company closed up and we lost out on a lot of our home warranty. Luckily the agent that worked with Ty was an honest and decent person and between him and our realtor they helped us get through it. I would say a lot more but I do not want to get into trouble. It is my personal opinion to avoid this guy at all costs. If you ever decide you want to make things right Ty, I will be more than happy to change my review.

I set up an appointment to get a quote on 9/10, they told me I would get it by early the next week (9/14-9/15). Didnt hear from them at all, and I emailed them today (9/23) asking when I was going to get a quote. They then let me know they werent going to do it. No explanation.I took a day off work to be at the house to show them around, so that was a waste... but then to not get ahold of me for nearly 2 weeks? unprofessional.Edit: My initial email asked about stairs (which you told me you couldnt do and referred me out, not a problem), cabinets, countertops. When you came, I also showed you the cracked tile flooring, the cabinets, and countertops and you measured the new flooring and asked how much would be extended out. So if adding the flooring was really too much to ask and out of your scope, you could have told me in person or the 2 weeks after. To completely ghost me until I reach out is the issue here.

The owner Ty was great to work with. Had a few minor hiccups with our renovation, but Ty was quick to make a resolution and make sure we were happy. He was very attentive to our needs, great with my kids running around, and even my 140 lb mastiff grew pretty fond of him.

We definitely recommend 3 Sons Construction! 14 new windows thanks to Ty and Brad and Elijah! Our windows look great, all debris was cleaned up and hauled away. The work was meticulous as though they were working on their own houses. We will have them back to paint the exterior of our house!

Ty and his crew did a fantastic job on our basement finish. For one, we didnt have to wait 8 months to have it started and he was available for us throughout the entire process. His workers were respectful and conscientious when in our home. We are very pleased with how the project turned out.

Ty was with us every step of the way, from initial measurements, to choosing the new look, all the way to final walk through. He took the time to ensure we understood the process and were happy with the result. His crew was clean an efficient, making sure to clean up after themselves at the end of each day.

We had our kitchen remodeled by Teck. First the measurements they did were wrong. When the cabinet people came to finalize, we had to re-do our layout. Then they ordered the wrong size sink and didnt know until 1/2 way into the project. We went with a sink we didnt want so we didnt have to wait weeks. Finally, our dishwasher came loose and a cabinet door came off (see picture). This has been 2 weeks and they still havent fixed it. Guess once you pay, they dont care about you.

I love my house. It is beautiful, but like all new houses there are little minor things that need to either be changed or repaired. Teck Builders is right on it. Good job.

We hired Tesir Alhussain owner of Teck to completed a project that was finalized Nov 2017. We paid in full directly to Ty for the labor and materials needed. We just received notice from one of the vendors/sub-contractors that he brought on did not get pay for the materials/labor the sub contractor supplied. We have reached out to Ty (Tesir) and he is refusing to pay this bill of $1290.73 and we have record we have paid him in full for this completed project. We would appreciate any help to resolve this matter.

Teck built our basement exactly how we wanted. The employees were friendly. All calls and emails were returned fairly quickly. We would use Teck again in the future.
