I have been going to David Lombardi for 3 years and he is very professional. He is very organized. He explains everything that he is doing with my taxes so that I understand the process. He answers all of my questions and his advice is always helpful. I never feel that I am asking the wrong question or interrupting him. I trust him and know that he knows what he is doing.

I had to recently file an amendment and Debbie helped my every step of the way. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional. She went above and beyond guiding me throughout the process. I highly recommend working with Debbie for all of your tax needs.

I am questioning the cost if at this point in our lives we only qualify for the standard deduction. I guess it will depend on how things work out over the coming year. I like the advisor we use very much and he has been helpful to us over the years.

My tax advisor David Lombardi is the sole reason. Anyone can do taxes, but he kept the conversation flowing and even gave me a few laughs along the way. The guy is great.

Good place to go & have your taxes done

This place is terrible and a complete RIP OFF!!! save yourself the hassle and do your taxes yourself. I had my taxes done by Joan T. not only was she not able to answer ANY of my simple questions about my tax return because she clearly didn’t understand what was going on, she had absolutely no answer for me as to why HR Block was charging me over $100 MORE for my taxes this year from the previous year. I told her I had the exact same number of forms to file (which was true after she argued that I had more forms this year and then looked it up only to find I was right). They wanted to charge me $411!!!!! For her to sit there for 20 minutes and type in a few forms that any monkey could have done!!! I paid $175 the first year, $353 the second year and now $411. All with the same exact number of forms!! Her answer was “Well it goes up every year” REALLY!!?!? Ridiculous. They never called me to come get my taxes when they were ready I had to hunt them down. Then comes time for the state and federal taxes to be deducted out of my account and the amount deducted out was over $200 MORE than what she told me it was going to be!! Because she told me the incorrect amount that was going to come out!! It’s right on the form!! How could someone miss that!! Clearly she is not educated enough on how everything works.I should have just used TurboTax and saved myself the stress!!

We filed our taxes the last weekend in January. The day before our appointment we called and asked Dedra a seasoned tax preparer, about the injured spouce form due to the fact that i was aware that I owed money to the IRS. We aked her 3 times on the phone the night before our appointment that we will be all set we just file the form for $35.00 and my husbands tax return will not be affected. We arrive the next day to sit with Debra and again I ask her not once but 5 times the same question about the injured spouce form. Debra assured us over and over we would be all set. I said it there is any chance they will take his return for my debit, then please back me out of the preparation of the taxes. Again Debra assured us it was all set. February came and went at the end of March we got a letter that they applied my husbands tax return to my tax debt. The manger of the store and the area director got together with me to call the IRS on a conference call. We spoke with a gentleman at the IRS that told all three of us that Debra had put the tax return amount on the injured spouce form line 17 in the wrong box to go to other/spouce. After all the questions aaked back and forth with the reassurance we would be fine, she stiil did it wrong. The man at the IRS had said that if she had put it the correct box we would have had our tax return and not having this conversation mind you this took place on 04/11/19. The store manager was advised to to a revised form correctly and send in a letter with explaining why the need for the revised form. The IRS received this on 04/15/19 as of this post we have not received our tax return. When I speak with IRS we are told that had Debra not made the error we would not be having this conversation again and that it could be October 2019 before we see the money. Block advisor offers a peace of mind contract that if they are in error they will make good on the loss. We are not at peace. They did refund our tax preparation fee but we are left holding the bag for Debras error. I have put 3 calls in, 2 to the store it self and one to the area director. It has been a week and no return phone call from either. I do not recommend block advisor in Andover at all. If you do chose to use this very unpleasant and unprofessional Block Advisor location in Andover M.A., please do not have Debra as your tax preparer.

Efficient appointment system - good reminders without being overbearing like some other services!!

Woman named Joan typed with one finger the whole time. They told me on the phone the apt would cost $70-100. Then they charged me $250. They suck. File online on your own.

Great service, very convenient, very knowledgeable staff

She was certainly sweet on the phone - inveigling me to make an appointment - though she did totally fail to respond to a technical inquiry, making up some contradictory rubbish. I knew something was up almost immediately considering I was the only client in the waiting room and they had me wait 20 mins or more. Debra was condescending and insulting. She totally forgot to review my deductions until I noticed; and whatever deductions I suggested (im not an expert on deductions) she invariably insinuated that I was lying. Her aggressive attitude made it impossible to ask questions regarding the huge payment she concluded I owed at the end. Her explanations were trite and confused. Overall, she treated me like a criminal, acting like she was doing me a favor the entire time and clearly wanted to get her money ($190 for maybe 40 mins) and get me out of her precious office ASAP. When I walked in the first thing I said was I wanted to get the federal return done yet she billed me for both state and federal. I actually recognized her from last year when she was working with another client - you could see/hear her acid personality bullying people all over the store. Never again.
