Zack and team were great. They were honest, up front, and prompt with repair. I went in for A/C trouble and they fixed and its working great. I thought their labor rates and part fees were very reasonable. I will definitely be going for future repairs.

I wouldnt send my daughter/sister/mother up here alone. I cant say exactly because of lawsuit but my truck was not leaking oil Friday morning when I dropped it off, it is literally pouring out on my pretty white NEW concrete driveway. Also was informed everything wrong with my RECENTLY purchased used truck IS ALL MY FAULT and not in any way covered by the absolute joke of a warranty. You couldnt pay me go back here

Went there with a popping noise on my front end and a squealing noise from a wheel they said that my brake calipers were on backwards so it took them 2 days to fix it cost me $250 which was on a Friday my wife drives all the way to her house 35 mi away and she has no brakes they call me back Monday they said that they would eat the towing bill 150 bucks and then charge me 50 more dollars waste of money do not trust

I will not elaborate on the fiasco I endured last week vehicle wise, but one of my cars ended up accidentally getting towed to Rowlands. Again, without elaborating, (Ill spare yall...haha) I couldnt be happier that I was able to meet Mr. Rowland. Zach and his crew are the VERY BEST mechanics in Anderson and possibly the that’s of South Carolina.First, from a woman’s perspective his shop is super nice, NOT the grungy and grimy stuff where it has layers of dust and invoices stacked everywhere and one old lady working the phones. His shop is very clean and modern with an ACTUAL waiting area, not just a random chair.Second, his work and customer service is phenomenal. They have always been patient with me, explain everything so I can understand it and know exactly what’s going on and the whys and everything. If I ever have a problem he is quick to fix it, or tell me to come back in and he’ll check it out for me.Third, (major plus) HES CHEAP!!! From the looking around I did in the area I found that Rowland is cheaper than most of the mechanics around here. Wouldnt take my vechile to anyone else. Fast, friendly, and above all, honest. I was having trouble with my vehicle shifting and took it to another mechanic and was told I needed new transmission. i decided to seek a second opinion and consulted Rowlands. Thank goodness I did because they diagnosed a leak saving me thousands of dollars!!

Descriptives for the entire team:Excellence,honesty,expedience,reasonableness, andcourtesy.When traveling the interstate near Anderson, SC about 9:30 AM on a Friday morning, the engine in my Ford F-150 pickup truck began to run very roughly. I stopped and called nearby Auto service providers for assistance. One service provider, not being able to assist me in my emergency situation, recommended Rowlands. After I explained my issue, Rowlands, immediately offered help. As soon as I arrived at their place of business, they got right to work, found the problem (ignition coils), offered pertinent advise, and (to keep the story short) replaced them all in minimum time.My wife and I were very favorably impressed with their professionalism and courtesy. They ARE a 5-star business!!! I believe it was truly providential that we found such an awesome business so far away from our home in Pennsylvania.I give them FIVE big stars (!!!) and highly recommend them!!!

Two good experiences at this repair shop. First my AC was leaking bad. I expected the worst. They found a leak and repaired it at a low cost. Second I had oil changed. Both times communications were good and work was done on time. Vehicle was kept free from fingerprints and mud. I recommend Rowlands.

It is a business,they treated me fairly. I also run a business and I try to treat people well that treat me well.

I took my vehicle there to repair damage to my Mercedes that I had bought used for over 30k from Lake Keowee Chrysler. It had thousands of dollars of damage caused by the original owner. It had a clean CarFax,..which tells you how reliable they are!The people at Keowee Chrysler refused to accept any responsibiliy for said damages even though it was under warranty at the time of purchase.Unfortunately, it took years before I discovered the damage.Lake Keowee Chrysler did everything in their power to disavow any liability.They went as far to lnsinuate that I had created the damage.Because the car was financed,.. I had full coverage. If I crashed it,..it was covered! Another South Carolina business with absolutely no integrity whatsoever!!So now, insult to injury...Zach takes his good ole Time fixing it.He finally calls me several weeks later . Its fixed,come pick it up.We go there,and the car is undrivable! More weeks pass, with me constantly calling, and being put off,lied to.Finally gets fixed at about twice the original quote.The other day, I started the car, and noticed that my weather tech mats have disappeared!! I called Zach and explained the situation,..and told him it would be a cold day in hell before I had him work on anything of mine.His response was something like,..Youre upset over car mats? Yes, very expensive @$200.00 car mats!!He is ambivalent about the fact that his employees steal from the customer!!!! So, if you want to take your vehicle to a place where if the employees may take something that they like,or want,..Then this is your spot.Another example of seedy, low life Southerners!!

My husband and I took our cars to get an alignment there and they didnt want to align my husbands car because they said it needed some work doned before they could align it. So then they wanted to charge us for lifting the car and not even aligning it. They aligned my car supposedly but its still pulling the same way if not worse. We paid for something that didnt do anything, spent most of the day waiting on this and now we have to take it somewhere else and pay again to get it aligned. This was a rip off!!!

Rowlands is the perfect automotive mechanic for me - one that I dont think about for years at a time because the work is done right the first time, and there isnt any worrying about new problems cropping up like you might experience at other shops. I wish I could say that all mechanics in the area are as honest, but Ive been price-gouged too many times by others, only to have them find a dozen new problems that were never there before I visited their establishment. Ive been to the dealerships and to many other local places, and Rowlands ended up being around half as much as anyone else. I didnt believe it myself until I tried Rowlands..and then didnt need to go back for several years (and a different car)! My cars are on average 10 years old and still going strong because of Rowlands...I believe that if Id found him sooner, Id probably still be driving cars 20 years old or more with no problems!Has your mechanic ever given a follow-up call to make sure everything is going smoothly? Rowlands does! I dont mind at all attaching my name to this endorsement - Ive done it many times before, and Ill probably do it many times again. Rowlands is the best and most honest automotive mechanic in the area. Try them out, and Ill bet you never go anywhere else - I dont!

To start off - I did not get mechanical work done here.Halfway through a 4 hr drive home from Atlanta, my cars motor locked up. We managed to get the carcass of my sweet little Escape towed to Rowlands and, despite being busy, Zach still took the time to check out my car and see if we could make it home.After learning it was totalled, not only did he give us options, knowlege, and contact info, but he also let our tired, unwashed, and emotionally fragile group of 4 take over his lobby until we could figure out what to do.It may not have been my best day, and we may not have had any mechanical work done to a vehicle, but I highly recommend Zach and his shop. He made a bad day so much more bearable. Thank you again man!

This used to be a very good auto repair shop but the last two times I have been there whoever the guy is answering the phones is super rude and they Took full advantage that I was a woman and overcharged me come to find out !
