Took my daughter here to get her pampered for her birthday. & Loan did an amazing job. She literally almost spend 2 hours on my daughter. She even went over the toe that my daughter messed up & fixed it after I told her it’s okay. I highly recommend this place & ask for Loan. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Ive been going to see Nancy at Jolie Nails for over a decade now. Every time Ive gone in they are completely professional, friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. I get the shellac manicure and every once in a while I will get a pedicure. My manicure lasts for at least 2 weeks (sometimes more if I cant find the time to get in) and theyve always accommodated if Ive broken/chipped a nail before my next appointment. I highly recommend them!!

I love Jolie and her daughter/staff! They are sweet and make you feel at home! I love the how my nails look every single time I get them done! Won’t go anywhere else.

This is the only place that I have ever had the manicurist actually get in and remove my ingrown toenail. Most places are too soft and dont really do anything to help your feet I have never had such a good feeling rub and just general great care of my feet at any other place.

I have been a customer of this nail salon since the day it opened almost 16 years ago. The salon is very clean and the service always excellent.

Unfortunately I hadnt read the reviews before I went in. My friend and I both received manicures. Hers was fabulous (done by a younger woman tech) but mine was horrible because I did have the older lady tech do my French Tips. Cuticles were not done correctly, white polish for the French Tip was smeared and not painted evenly. Wish I could present a picture, but dont see any way to attach. Since they have other complaints about this same older tech, why continue to use her?

I came in for a regular gel pedicure. Nothing extra. The staff presented themselves as understanding but the older lady was completely unaware that I was bilingual and understood the inappropriate comments she was making towards my criticism. She trimmed and shaped my nails poorly and couldn’t even paint my nails entirely then passed me off to another woman to finish but she had the same difficulties. Ultimately I had them remove all the polish and they let me know I, “didn’t have to pay if I didn’t like it.” I don’t suggest coming here unless you want to be highly unsatisfied.

Worst. Experience. Ever. Went in for simple gel polish and French tips, came out with the sloppiest nails I have ever seen. The older nail tech who did my nails was way too rough with the filing, and the cuticle trimming was so painful I stopped her mid hand. She was literally ripping with the clippers instead of clipping, and gave me THREE cuts before I stopped her. I left with nail polish all over my fingertips, could have done a better job myself. Very disappointed, as this place is close to home. Will never be back. Also, a total of 2 sentences was said to me the entire time I was there. “ what do you want?” And “ it’s $30”.

I called a little bit before they were closing one night and the nicest lady ever said we can come in and she would stay late to do my manicure and my daughters nails that night! Well, she talked us into gel. I was worried because every time I get talked into it they chip or peel in a week or less. I’m always mad at my self and just get the manicures. We were going to CA for Xmas and I know it’s way cheaper to get your nails done outta state, but I thought it would be nice to start my vacation feeling pretty.Well, this is the only place I’ve been to here in AK where my gel nails did not chip or come off at all! I mean my nails were growing in and they all stayed on. I was super impressed! Plus, the lady who helped us was the sweetest and friendliest lady ever! This is the only place I’d go to if I need a professional look and gel that actually lasts! Best place ever in Anchorage!

Tu saved my feet from agonizing ingrown nails. Now I go once a month to stay in good shape. I love the family feel and warmth. Jolies will take good care of you!

Im so very disappointed I didnt read the reviews beforehand as well. Omg! The older lady did my mani while the guy did my pedi. She used regular polish when I asked for shellac. Pist! Do not go to this place.

I love this family. Quality work with fair prices. All 10 of my toenails were ingrown when I came in for a pedicure and Ms. Tu took care of me like it was nothing. I felt so much better when I left other than the general soreness associated with ingrown toenails. I wont go anywhere else.

Wow best pedicure Ive ever had! Im 9 months pregnant, decided to treat myself before C section tomorrow and so glad I did. I fee like I left with new rejuvenated legs!

My shellac nail polish peeled off on some nails in less then a week. They told me they would last for at least two. On one of my toes she cut through my nail! That hurt. its also very loud in there. Yelling across the salon, no place to relax. Wont go back ever.

My girlfriend and I called and made reservations before we came in. We walked in 5 minutes before our appointment and not one employee said a word to us, even though they acknowledged that we were there. Ten minutes after our appointment time, one employee came over and told my friend she was ready to do her pedicure and that I would have to wait 5 minutes. 20 minutes later, my appointment began. The lady doing my friends pedicure hurt her the entire time. My friend kept telling her that she was hurting her and saying ouch very loudly. There was no apology nor did she change her approach as not to hurt my friend. The lady that did my nails not only said less than 5 words to me, but gave me the worst shallac manicure Ive EVER had. It is uneven, transparent in some places, and already chipping and peeling from getting it done YESTERDAY. I showed her some areas that I was unhappy with when she was done, and she told me it was supposed to be like that. Then charged me $50 ($20 for the manicure and $30 for the shallac). I will never go back to this place. It was a terrible experience.

DO NOT GO HERE. I really wish I had read the reviews before going here. I got the french tips with silk wraps manicure, and a regular pedicure done. Not only did one of my nails fall off before my first filling, but there was some nasty fungal growth on another nail (under the wrap) a week after I got it done. WORST MANICURE EVER. The pedicure hurt for a long time after I left. Bad experience.

I love Mama Tu and family; I get nothing but great quality work done when I come in. Gel nails will last WEEKS without chipping.

The WORST manicure Ive ever had!Not only where they rude and opinionated about just the color I choose, she placed gel polish over my cuticles! And charged me $60 bucks. I would never suggest anyone to go there, EVER!
