This is an excellent group of folks who know EXACTLY how to make sure your car gets to where it needs to go and that all paperwork and any issues are addressed ahead of time. The website enables easy appointment scheduling; the app enables you to track your vehicle; every single piece of info you need to provide is detailed on the website and there are explanatory sessions every Wednesday to ensure customers arrive ready to ship their vehicle.Have now used twice.
Absolutely the worst place to ship your vehicle. The staff are condescending and rude, especially the lady with the black hair in the front. Definitely deserves 0 stars. Literally makes me not even want to go through the process of shipping the car. That’s how bad it was.
Terrible service. 0 out of 5 stars. The amount of condescension from the employees is almost laughable
Staff are great to work with, especially if you can talk hockey. If you actually look over your vehicle before dropping it off and ensure you print off and sign their forms before coming in then the whole process is fast, smooth and painless. I had no hassle at all, besides having to run down the street to properly inflate my tires.
Customer service was pretty terrible. I was helped by Donna and did not appreciate the grumpy, rude, condescending attitude. My husband and I were talked to like we were 5 year olds and they were reluctant and annoyed to answer any questions. We didn’t even want to ask for any more clarification because the ladies working talked to us so poorly. On another note, the two guys back in inspections were super friendly and helpful. They had a much nicer attitude and seemed to actually enjoy their job, or at least enjoyed customers. They were great.
Lady in the front (dark brown hair and curly) was rude and unfriendly. When we came in the first time she had her children in the back. We were told that the car wasnt clean enough and although we had a crack on the windshield it didnt need to be replace. Took the car and got it detailed. Came back the second time to find out that the windshield in fact needed to be replaced and the owner/manager said we need to clean it more. When I asked what was going on he gave me an attitude and was snippy with me. Came in the 3rd time and he saas rude and said wait to sign in until the car is here. Only reason we used this place was because the military is shipping our vehicle. Its sad that the military has a contract with such an unprofessional establishment. Hopefully we will be able to ship today but who knows Im sure they will find some other stupid reason to refuse us. They havent even looked at our paperwork so Im sure they will find some problem with it. Run away from this place!!!!!!!!!!!
As long as you do your part and have all the appropriate paperwork as well as a clean vehicle, the process goes very smoothly.
Great experience with this place! Recommend it!
They were really fast and nice. If you make an appointment you should be good to go. Also, try to make your appointment the earliest one, that way theres no delays from the people before you.
Been here to ship three separate times and has been wonderful easy and quick so long as you have an appointment very friendly staff
On the phone, the person was rude and abrupt. In person, they are friendly, quick, and were great with our little one. The antenna to my newer truck got lost in transit though so that really sucks... I ended up getting this old, crooked antenna from the Seattle VPC, so I’m not that thrilled about that still.
Came on time and was told to drop my tank just a Little more. So I ran the car and was told Id be helped. Waited 1 hour and half before I was told I needed to reschedule. All of this was during my appointment time. Employees showed favoritism to high ranking personal and were glad to wait for them to go buy parts and install them.but couldnt wait 10mins for me.
Shipped my pov from Atlanta Ga to Anchorage Ak, which took 19 days to arrive. Very good service at this vpc. They are very quick, I was out of there in less than 30 minutes. My car did have some damage to it but nothing major. Overall I was pleased with the experience and thrilled to have my car again!
They shipped out car in one piece, fairly clean, though some mud, and quick.
As one person mentioned, the phone etiquette could use a boost.I called to find out how long the customs/inspections takes when receiving a POV. They told me only 10-15 minutes, asked for my name, then confirmed that I could schedule a time to pick up. I showed up the next day at the scheduled time, and was told me car wasnt there yet. I called before the notification was received on my end which is why Im not rating 1star and can see how there was possible confusion. My biggest disappointment is in them offering to make an appointment without verifying if the car was even there or not, as my call was only to ask about clearing customs.Post-pickup edit: I believe it was the manager that spoke with me when I arrived. He apologized for the mixup and explained why there was a misunderstanding. Putting 4 stars instead of 2. Disregarding the inconvenience of the mixup, the service was great.
They shipped our car to Anchorage. It arrived okay. Didnt take but about 2 weeks. Thanks.
Overall, service was decent and people were friendly. However, when warning up my truck before I went to go pick it up, they ran it out of gas. They called me 5 minutes before I left base for the appointment to tell me that I needed to bring gas for the truck. This in and of itself seemed unprofessional. Not to mention that running a vehicle out of gas is inherently very bad on a vehicle, especially for its fuel system. Namely, for the potential of ruining fuel pumps (these things are cooled AND lubricated by fuel), but also for the potential clogging of fuel lines and filters, fouling of injectors, et cetera. A definite no-no, and an definitely negligent on anybodys part that deals with vehicles frequently, especially in the cold.6 gallons in the tank later, wouldnt start. My shade tree mechanic diagnosis said fuel pump. To me, as a result of their negligence. The truck ran thousands of miles fine before they ran it out of gas. Submitted a claim, head of claims said DENIED due to it being a mechanical issue. Now, I understand things wear down over time, and they cant assume blame for everything coming through there. However, when you do something so negligent (like the guy starting it, going inside, and coming back out 20 minutes later to a dead vehicle with the ignition still on [even worse for the system to keep ignition on when out of fuel]), you should assume responsibility for it and do the right thing. No such thing happened. They denied fault and took to the legal cop out to avoid doing the right thing.Picked up my truck a few days later after banging at the fuel pump and resetting the pump (via inertia switch). Ran well for a few hours then back to the same issue.Didnt bother contacting them again. They made clear their inability and lack of desire to do the right thing and do what is right. Their negligence is now coming out of my pocket and my time. After hooking up a fuel pressure gauge, sure enough, the fuel pump is shot. More than definitely a result of their actions. However, denied by them either by a wealth of mechanical ignorance or a complete lack of desire to treat the service members whose business they handle the right way. When I have to use these jokers again, I will make a special request that they dont touch my damn vehicle aside from getting it in and off the trailer.
Fast pick up of our car, so theres that.
Tedious for many reasons. Be sure to have time!
It was OK. I had to ask the guy twice to fill the tires and then gave up and took it on base to do it myself. Beware of the exit - the streets are one way.
Great, quick, professional experience.
Went smother then I thought it would, heated garage to inspect your vehicle when it arrives, did get the feeling I was being rushed out the door when I was inspecting my truck for pickup but overall a good experience.
Okay
