I know I had a lot of questions and yet you made me feel reassured as a parent that I was doing the right things for my children. I can’t thank you enough! My experience with this dentist was by far the worst of my life. I brought my 13-month-old son in to see her as he was having slight discoloration on one of his teeth. Staff at the office had mentioned the option of silver diamine fluoride and sent photos of how this would look. Based on this information, I thought that the one tooth with a spot of discoloration would just get slightly darker. This dentist hardly spoke with me at all and did nothing to explain the potential outcome or other less (visibly) detrimental options. She just lathered this stuff on my son’s teeth. And I let her because I didn’t know what would happen and I trusted her. The next day my son’s teeth were dark brown and after that, they were black (this is permanent, luckily these are his baby teeth). I don’t understand how someone who is supposed to be in a caring profession could do what she did without even taking a minute to discuss the consequences. Months after the fact, I did speak at length with the owner of the office where she works and he was very nice and apologetic and I did feel better, but I never got an apology from her (which honestly would have been too little too late anyways). I‘m surprised to see that she gets any good reviews.

Dr. Jen made a big difference with my sons healing from his bike accident together with his oral surgeon Dr. Dashow. A dentist with an amazing heart caring with her pediatric patients.

We saw Dr. Christy Jen a year ago to correct a severe lip and tongue tie on my daughter. She was wonderful and caring. She called multiple times afterwords to follow up and make sure that everything was okay.

Thank you Dr Jen for taking such good care of my children. They were very nervous about the dentist but since becoming your patient they are no longer scared. We love Anchorage Pediatric Dentistry.
