Staff is very pleasant. The lobby is beautiful. The room is spacious and has an incredible soaking tub that is to die for. The location is just right for us, very easy to get to the places we always want to visit. Hot breakfast served in the lobby from 7-10 am, I appreciate the way they have handled breakfast during this pandemic. I believe this might be my favorite hotel in Anchorage. We will visit again! Nice tub, terrible bed. Room is nice and spacious, complimentary breakfast was hot and ready to go. First night, my room was super hot even though the temp was set to 65degrees- as it turns out, they needed to reset the whole thermostat. They offer a freezer for guests. But if they are charging over $300 a night at the end of July, at least invest in better beds.

VA booked me for 3 nights, they over booked and kicked me, the disabled veteran, out to move across town to a new hotel. Oh, and I found hair in the bath tub. So they arent cleaning, especially to covid standards. Not worth the $$$

Ive stayed here multiple times and loved it since the first. The rooms are huge! The best feature is the jacuzzi tubs! I love how it is walking distance to the mall as well. Wonderful experience every time. The staff is always polite and accommodating.

Would get 5 stars but the bathroom had a weird configuration. The bathroom had a double door glass window which opened up to the bed area, that didnt seem family friendly. Otherwise the hotel is very nice and clean.

Great place to stay. Rooms are clean and very spacious. Located within walking distance of the mall, Walmart and several restaurants. The front desk is very friendly and are more then willing to go the extra mile to make your stay a great one.

I stayed here for 2 weeks and I was able to get to know some of the staff fairly well. They were all very nice, accommodating and quick to help you out. Quarter laundry is on site and they have $10 quarter rolls ready at the front desk! The tubs are huge and the water never got cold (I used it almost every night). They have really good pull down shades to keep the midnight sun out. It’s a great location right by a Walmart and mall. Not to mention there is a local market that sets up every Friday through Saturday with amazing local artists!

Pros: Big rooms, jacuzzi tub, breakfast. Cons: beds not comfortable, room was so hot we couldnt rest. Windows open and never cooled down.

Comfortable rooms and helpful, friendly staff. Breakfast buffet is closed but a hot meal is provided. Good food options within an easy walk of the hotel.Major detractor - WiFi is very, very poor. Unable to load basic webpages for work or FaceTime with family from my rooms (2) or the lobby. (Thank you to the staff for trying to help!)

We always enjoy our stay. Have been several times and will absolutely be back. The front desk staff is always super friendly.

Woke up during the night. There were two bed bugs on my daughters bed. We told night managment, as it was about 3am. He had no other rooms available to put us into. He did not seem concerned or sorry.So all night we sat up in chairs until we go to airport first thing in the morning. I do not recommend this hotel. We were put here by the hospital. We came from Fairbanks for appointments. Going home so tired and worried.

Hotel is conveniently located.There are restaurants and a Walmart very near.Staff is friendly.There is no room service due to covid.And the buffet is also not in service.Complimentary breakfast everyday. With a very limited menu.

The hotel is beautiful as always but the hot water wasnt working and the big tub was 90% of the reason I booked here. The front desk staff was amazing and handled it as best they could under the circumstances. Also, the room next to mine was VERY loud through the conjoined door at 2-4am I know more about those guests than I want.

While the third floor is moderately quiet, the internet is atrocious. The internet resembles dial up internet that cuts in and out, just horrible. Also incredibly expensive... I have a feeling the resident rate wasnt really applied, or was only applied for one day for our 4 day stay. Some staff is nice, but other staff is rather rude. Overall the only thing thats nice about this hotel, is that its near the mall.

At 2am the room toilet started smelling bad and was backing up sewage. We were given another room but could not fall asleep after the toilet sewage issue. Reported this to the front desk in the morning. They did not care. I was offered a ten dollar discount on my next stay. I won’t be using that discount. Management is normally friendly. I Guess they are changing their ways. My suggestion is to stay somewhere else and avoid being treated poorly.

The manager was so kind, our flight was originally cancelled and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. thank you!

Solid place to lay your head. Surrounded by parking lot, so not for the greener spaces loving per se. Near lots of shopping though. Great tubs.

I spent 200$ on a reserved room with a jacuzzi jet tub, then to discover that they gave us the wrong room after reassuring us we had the LAST room with a jet jacuzzi turns out no jet jacuzzi they wouldnt change us rooms an the lady at the front desk told us that all the TV were down on the second floor and that they knew about it the day before we checked in an no one told us. So not only did I request a refund but they said we can only partially refund you 56$ so they refunded me a quarter of what I paid to stay in a room that I didnt make reservations for and had no TV the entire night on valentines day... sure ruined mine and my fiancee night

We stay at this hotel repeatedly and always find it to be staffed with friendly, professional people that work to provide us with great service. We always find the rooms to be clean, quiet and very comfortable.

So being that it’s 2:30 am the fire alarm has been going off for almost 30 minutes! No elevator and I walk with a cain. Had to go up the upstairs to get to my room! If there was a fire it would have been very difficult to rush out. Front desk was inexperienced even checking us in! NO WIFI PROVIDED!!! I have only seen this one employee working since we checked in at 9pm. Very tired have to be up early... Monday morning yeah! Thank you for the worst hotel sleep I’ve ever had! Room 227. The first room I was given was dirty: used towels, beer and key cards left over from the previous guests, and dirty unmade bed.I was given a second room which was ground level and the window barely latched shut, the toilet seat was not clean, and the bed was broken. Every time I rolled over, the bed brayed like a donkey and it woke me up Every. Single. Time.Not to mention the woman hysterically crying in the hallway at 1 am. That was pretty cool too. I’m honestly not sure how this place is rated so highly but it sure seems like a place you could pay for by the hour.

Its an OK hotel. Just kinda feel that its in a weird location for some reason but that is probably just me.

I liked the room a lot, the tub and the spaciousness. The location is awesome good for walking and was right between all the locations I was wanting to go. One issue I had was in the ad for the room it said it had a view and I was floor level with a tree in front of my window😂 Im not particularly upset it was honestly funny, another thing is the rooms temp dropped considerably at night?

Quiet, clean, near plenty of shopping and restaurants, and the desk and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. Thats literally all I usually care about.The bathrooms are HUGE, and the bathtubs are gigantic. I didnt know I wanted that but now I do. I enjoyed my stay here a lot and I will be back.

Very nice hotel. Good location. Has airport shuttling included. Bit expensive, but its got the quality and luxury to back it up.

The rooms were comfortable and in a good walking distance for shopping and restaurants. However, the conference room was chilly. All in all I would stay at the Diamond Center Hotel again and recommend to others.

Convenient location-- we didnt have any problems with the staff or hotel at all. The big bathtub was the best part. Its not far from some nice hikes and scenery further north of Anchorage. Would recommend

My wife stays at the Dimond Center one night every week. The service has been good and consistent. The jetted tubs are wonderful the biggest I have had the pleasure of soaking in. Having access to Dimond Center Mall with its shops and restaurants is a definite plus. At the rates other hotels charge I will definitely continue to stay at the Dimond Center Hotel its well worth the money

Very comfortable and clean. Convenient to a mall and Walmart. Free shuttle to and from airport although my driver was very antisocial. Did not speak the entire ride. Breakfast was good and free. Loved my room and there is a transit station right there. Rode the bus downtown. Just for the places surrounding it, I will return. Beautiful mountain scenery right outside.

Staff is amazing. Rooms are comfy. Love the new restaurant and bar. Keith is awesome. Great dinner and drinks. Would love to see you open more extended hours. And eventually a menu with more selections.

This is a great companion to a night at Dave and Busters. Please dont drive after cocktails. This hotel is friendly, reasonably priced, and the breakfast is good if you arrive early. The winter rates are unusually low. 3 cheers for the Dimond Hotel.

I usually love to stay here for work, but i got a room that was underneath something that was very loud in my room, and in the hallway, airconditioner? I actually got a headache from how loud it was an barely slept, the tv glitches so when ur watching a movie or whatever it just cuts off for long periods of time then the movies or shows are already done. Went downstairs next morning hoping for biscuits and gravy like it says on their website only to get a doggy bag with a tiny yogurt, a tiny muffin and a wrapped bagel with butter. At least the bathtubs are worth it

I told them we were arriving on my Dads 80th birthday & asked if they could do anything to help make it special. They agreed & asked what kinds of things he liked. I responded with several details. When we arrived they surprised us with several of his favorites: a small German chocolate cake, 2 Snicker bars, & a 2 liter of Coke, along with the plates, cups, & plastic ware to enjoy them. They also added 2 towel swans kissing on the bed with washcloth water lilies on either side to celebrate my parents 55th wedding anniversary. The room was just as nice as our previous stay, but on the 1st floor this time so Mom didnt have to use the elevator. All in all, a wonderful stay; in spite of Covid closing the restaurant.

They charge a lot and the place is a bit rundown. Our easy chair in our room was pretty tattered, the place needs a good cleaning. Dirt is left on the edges of the stairs, the tops of pictures and mirrors are super dusty and the staff seems to always be somewhere else. When we go in and out of the hotel, no smiles just heads buried in a computer.

The giant tub in the room is great. The rest is just very average. The included breakfast is not something to be happy about, you are better off going out. Decent area for walking to stores and a few restaurants. Wal-Mart right next door.

It was relaxing and it was home for the 2 day we stay there . we always enjoy staying at Dimond hotel its a good location. we love the tub. so fun.

Web page said they had a pool... they do not. Apparently they used to contract with the Alaska Club across the parking lot at the Dimond Mall... but do not anymore and even when they did it is not very convenient to traipse across a mall parking lot to swim... beds were lumpy... the rooms have a window from the bathroom into the bedroom that can be opened for a romantic night but if your sharing a room with a friend or work colleague you will disturb them if using the bathroom during the night by the light glaring through the window.

The location is great next to major shopping, ample parking. Easy access off major highway. The lobby is open,welcoming, nicely appointed and decorated. The conference rooms are well lit and the coffee service is great. The staff is very responsive.

Comfortable beds, clean room, Walmart is right across the road. Rooms are modern and have nice touches, like a big tub with a glazed window that can be opened up, looking into the regular bedroom. I give it 5 stars, as it was better than I expected.

Comfy rooms, awesome coffee and orange juice..(not a breakfast person), common areas are inviting, laundry and late night snacks. Great atmosphere!

Great for a couple, decent for a family.The main feature of this hotel is the bathrooms large bathtubs adjacent to an opaque double window that swings open to the room.Not so private, but very convenient if you want to watch TV while soaking.Two adults can share this tub.Probably.

Very clean place. You might hear a little noise outside due to the mall but nothing after it closes. I wish they have had eggs with no cheese and milk ( I asked) my baby is allergic. Otherwise food was Excellent in general. Close to everything!

Beautiful newer Anchorage hotel thats in a major shopping area. The Dimond Mall, Walmart and several restaurants and other stores are all within walking distance or less than a 5 minute drive away. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The lobby is also furnished well for just hanging out.

Service was friendly and efficient. Room was clean and appeared new. I didnt get to pick bed size though. I would stay there again. Awesome very deep tub and endless hot water.

Booked a jetted tub room weeks in advance. Only half the jets work. No hand soap or conditioner with the room, it was very bare in that sense. Ordered from the hotel restaurant and got extremely small portions that were not very good. House keeping knocked on our door at 9am sharp and when we didnt answer, knocked again three times until I got out of bed and told her we did not need house keeping. Breakfast was good, that was the most exceptional part of the hotel

Nice big rooms. Clean and nice bathrooms with big tubs. They let us store our 96 pounds of fish in their freezer overnight. Breakfast was good. Location to shopping mall is great. Right next door but a little ways from downtown area bars and restaurants. Lobby could use freshening. I had to call after getting home and ask them to reverse the $35 charge they put on your room upon check in.

Our room was very nice, it was clean and tidy. The bathtub was fantastic. The wife and I had a great stay. We will stay there again.

We stayed here before going on vacation and i was really disgusted and dissapointed there was hair stuck to to the blankets and the tub wasnt very clean. Althought the tub was nice and bed was soft i was super disguised.. even saw a bug in the shower.

Based on the reviews on here I choose to book this hotel for my client and his family. They spent a month in Alaska and this was their last stop before flying back to the mainland. I’m very disappointed in the service they received. So much, I feel horrible for selecting this hotel. The hotel advertised a “free shuttle” not to mention I called about an hour before the airplane arrived to confirm the shuttle service. When I called I spoke to Lani and she said as soon as they collect their luggage to call and they would be there within 15 minutes. I learned that they actually arrived 30 minutes after they were called, and that the people who were waiting for the shuttle in front of them had to much luggage there was no room for my client and his family. The shuttle driver didn’t offer any words of sympathy just told them to wait and MAYBE someone will be back that MIGHT be able to pick them up. My client called the hotel and spoke with Lani the same woman I spoke to earlier confirming the free shuttle. Lani informed my client to take a taxi and the hotel would pay the fare. When my client arrived at the hotel, Lani refused to pay the taxi and started telling my client he needs to listen more carefully. I’m disgusted that a place of business would treat any paying customer that way. My client is a very successful intelligent man and didn’t deserve to be spoken to in that way. The entire experience was rather embarrassing from the arrival at the airport to the departure the next day. I will never book with Diamond Center Hotel!!

The room is great! Big bathroom, has a bathtub, shower and toilet. There is a microwave and a fridge in the room. Complementary breakfast is included. There is guest wifi. The lobby is welcoming.

There was no pool which is a bummer, but the tubs are huge. There was a window that you could open to watch TV while taking a bath. The restaurant is overpriced. Being so close to the mall its better to eat there. The free breakfast kinda sucks. Worse eggs ever.

Very nice rooms. Spacious. The room was warm when we walked in, but quickly cooled down when the large window was opened. The bar on the 1st floor was great!

My favorite hotel so far in Anchorage. Only issue was we got a Room on the first floor right under the stairs so it was super loud and our room shook a bit when kids were playing on the stairs. But its ok we had a great time and after shopping hard all day its amazing to relax in the huge tubs watch some TV and then crawl in the cozy beds. I also found a rate for Alaskan residents that was super affordable. We most definitely will return here.

This hotel has gone down hill. Paid $180 for a dirty room. The sheets looked like they hadnt been changed. There was milkshake or something that looked like a milkshake on the wall and bathroom door knob. Floors were dirty. *Intoxicated people in the lobby. *Sounded like a herd of elephants on the floor above.Bonus: No bedbugs; coffee; very nice shuttle driver. 3 stars for those 3 perks. After traveling for 12 hours I did not have the energy to even try to find another room. We literally only stayed for at this hotel for 7 hours.

Check in was easy. Rooms were clean and well supplied. Soaking tub was great. This is a hotel geared to travelers passing through. Salmon burger in the bar was excellent. The staff was polite and helpful. The laundry room was VERY busy with only 2 pairs of machines. I would stay here again.

I always enjoy my stay at the Diamond Center. This is my go-to choice when going to Anchorage for work. The rooms are always clean and beds are comfy. Ive never had a complaint in my 8 or so stays here.

Nice hotel conveniently located in Anchorage, on the Diamond Center Mall site. Shopping and restaurants close by plus this hotel has a restaurant/bar open from 5pm to 10pm. Only reason for the 4 stars is the breakfast eggs and potatoes were pretty Meh. Otherwise the room was great!

Housekeeper was very shady!!! Entering room when she wasnt suppose to (happened twice with do not disturb)...and so on..to much to mention. Very shady. Everything else was great. Front desk was awesome and driver was great. I would love to make formal complaint about our stay with general manager about this person.
