Nice clean airport, free wifi, not busy at 9am quick Lyft rides.
I always Love the care and time that is taken as a passenger while flying Alaska Airlines, with a disability it makes it so much easier. The attendants and agents have so much patience. Even with a short trip to Anchorage from Fairbanks for medical, I know I can count on Alaska Airlines for full safe and convenient service every time.
Never flown on air alaska before, we travel all over the world, this airline was easy to book to check in even the lounge was fabulous, highly recommended as our experience was very nice.
Excellent staff, wide seats in first class!
Make sure to bring your own blanket - overnight flight ANC to ORD was cold and with no coffee in the morning....
I would give five stars for the pilots and flight attendants, as I have never had problems on any of Alaskas flights. That being said, the customer service is terrible here in Anchorage (its somewhat better in other locations). The agents are rude and short on patience with problems that customers have. Solutions either dont happen or take much longer than they should. My advice is that any travelers should do everything they can to make sure they dont have to interact with Alaska Airlines Customer Disservice.
This review is more for baggage service, but they were ushering us on telling us to “hurry up” while trying to carry a 5-year-old and a car seat. Then proceeds to mock how I put the sticker on my bag(because I WAS BEING RUSHED). Straight rude, and if I had more time I’d get the old ladies name and call the company directly.
Very nice and friendly. I like the way they still smiled when I know their jobs were hard. Dealing with rude passengers who wont where masks. They dont believe in covid19. Great flight attendants! My hats off to you!
Everything about this airline is infuriating especially customer service, unwilling to take accountability for their actions. They are told who put in the complaint against them so they can retaliate. Being from Alaska I love great customer service, this is not Alaskan hospitality. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour by everyone involved.
Hey alaska air, enough with the one world socialist BS.
I booked a flight and purchased first class upgrade when I checked out. A week before I travel, I get called and told I’m on a different flight, but that my seat is still in first class. Apparently, I was bumped to “premium class” without knowing it. When I approach the counter they say “sorry” we have no record of you purchasing a first class seat. Then they promised me a beer on the plane - I don’t drink. I call customer service and they tell me I’m definitely in first class and “not to worry”, that it was a computer snafu. But on the plane they jam me into the back. Definitely never flying Alaska again.
Rude, customer service, garbage left on floors from previous flights, toilets on planes flooded with huge wads of toilet paper, other passengers steal the toilet paper on the plane, overall, plane interiors are left filthy, and bathrooms smelly and unsanitary.
Better than united
Always great service
There is no comparison. Hands down this is the best Airline in the business. We refuse to fly with any other unless forced by circumstance. They are top notch in all areas and treat folks with courtesy and respect. They treat families, military and veterans especially well.
Only airlines I will fly. 💯💯💯💯💯
Love their flights
This airline is always available, I enjoy their services
Excellent
You do not realize how good Alaska Airlines is until you fly on another carrier. I honestly believe that Alaska Air is one of the best. I have experienced delays when flying with them and lost luggage, however they have always taken care of the problem and done their best to fix a rough situation. Great airline in my opinion.
Best airlines out there. I have always had great flights with Alaska airlines.
Always a great experience! The food and beverages served on board are good quality and the service is wonderful!
As a travel agent: It is best to fly the airline and get direct information via e-mail and updates. They have special programs for residents and the points can be accumulated on their air points of credit card. You have to use the points within a year because they will expire. They co-share with other airlines. For me it was good to use my Delta # and gather my points. They fly into Canada and USA but use their partners if you are from another destination. The staff on board were helpful and enjoyed chatting to the impatient passengers. They sold small ipads for movies and food in the cabins. We were asked who preferred veg. or not. I tried the fruit platter with cheese. Just a hint--Its not smart to serve :::: Burrito on a plane!!!
Best experience in the air —hands down— every amenity; charges, in flight entertainment, drinks.. and their nice!
Fantastic customer service! My bag was over the weight restriction, and rather than charge me the $75 fee, the very kind gate agent offered, let me go and find you a box and well reduce the weight, since its free for you to ship up to three bags. That was way above and beyond.
I have never had a negative experience with this airline. Prompt, welcoming, clean, great snacks, kind to parents with children, and never stressed.
Very good airline. Usually on time, never lost luggage, always polite.
I spent an extra $50 dollars on insurance for my flight just in case something were to happen that id be able to change my flight. Now that something is happening, i tired to change just my first flight, on the same day, just a 5 hour difference and they wont let me use the insurance because my reason for switching my flight isnt good enough apparently and they are going to charge me over $400 dollars to just change a same day flight by 5 hours when their is plenty of room on the flight that i need to be on. Customer service was extremely rude and unhelpful, Ive never been so disappointed with a airlines before. I defiantly will never be using Alaska airlines again. Dont spend the extra money on the insurance, its a scam, and when you go to use it they wont let you. And will still charge you an insane amount to switch a flight by a couple hours for an emergency. Alaska airlines is all about the money not the customers for sure.
Made a mistake on a reservation edit and they were very understanding and waived the service fee. Excellent customer service.
Again, alaska airlines fails to provide good customer service. Customer service rep Leslie was mean and rude. I would rather fly Delta.
First time on ALASKA AIRLINES August 1975 have never failed to do great
Only way to fly.
I had a 10:15 am flight this morning. They delayed it to 1:45. Without notice they then moved it up and I missed my flight.
Great overhead storage with lots of space in their planes for carry-on luggage.
I love the turbulence flights, i like flying in bumpy windy weathers.
Always accommodating and so much better when flying to the lower 48
This review is for their Board Room:Great executive lounge, that is part of the Priority Pass network of airport VIP lounges. The amenities that are need pre-boarding are all here:-Power outlets to power up before flight-Wifi to check messages-Quiet lounge-Comfortable seating-Beverages, both alcoholic and non-SnackIn regards to the snack, I entered the lounge at around 12 p.m. so the snacks available were limited (chips and salsa as well as cookies).
Nicely done 🦅🦅🦅
Ticket agents were incapable of finding a name that consists of only four letters due to a minor dyslexic problem which is kind of annoying by itself. But what was even worse was that her attitude was like I dont care, call your employer. Your name is not on the list. when all it would take is a second look and a little investigating. I wonder how hard it is to find Khan if Kahn was not showing up? A and H couldnt be too far apart in an alphabetized list of names. They must be hiring just anyone.
Impressive first class service. No complaints!
I have always enjoyed my flying with them
Service is not what it used to be☹️
❣️
The best!
