I have used Andrea in the past and have always taken care of my policies. This time I needed hazard insurance for my business and she made me feel small like I was a complete nobody. The first day I called her she said she’ll call back because she was with a client and didn’t call back. I had to call her at the end of the day. The next day or two I text her to follow up, because I didn’t hear back again immediately she declined but I feel it was due to the lack of information. I tried to explain to her that it’s no risk involved and if they’re concerned about any risk they can cancel me.I was honest and told her I needed insurance for the SBA loan and that’s all. She must’ve misunderstood because she immediately said “I won’t be able to help you early termination is a no go, have a nice day”. I explained to her I didn’t want to cancel, I was just saying they could if they felt I was a risk. From this point I basically BEGGED her to help me. I told her I’d pay all fees upfront including any and all commissions on the side anything she wants, I expressed that I’m a good customer I asked her not to judge me and said sometimes the people that you think are the most hassle turn out to be the best clients. She briefly said “okay let’s see what these 3 companies say”. I thanked her so much I told her I felt like she needed more info about my company so that the insurance could get approved, she never bothered. She never followed up with me again. She made me feel terrible and small not only as a business owner but as a human being, why treat people that way? I’ve never understood. She never complained when I was paying my fees in the previous years for renters insurance. I guess this required some more work.
