My boyfriends truck was towed here and wouldnt let him have his belongings out of his truck when he asked for them. They want a extremely high towing bill or 150 with a sign title on a vehicle that is being financed. He asked them numerous times on why he couldnt get just his personal belongings out. Then they had a paper sent out to the place that he was buying the truck from, saying that they were going to auction it off. So I called them and talked to some lady on the phone today and she said that they dont auction cars off. So I would so not recommend this place to ever tow your vehicle!!

Ive been taking our cars here for 25 years. They are completely honest, highly capable, and efficient. They do excellent work for a very fair price. Their towing service is also great.

They have far exceeded my expectations. Their service and reliability for me has been great. We will continue to use them whenever we are in the area.

My truck was towed here from a accident. Instead of letting me get my belongings from inside my truck as in my clothes and stuff. They won’t let me. So I would rate them as a terrible place!!

Dont ever get your car towed by this company! They will rip you off! Towed less than 5 miles from a small accident on the interstate and cost us $300! Other towing companies are half that amount. Hope you sleep good at night knowing you are ripping young college students off! Auto Body repair shop it was towed to even admitted this is high and havent seen tows this high before from that distance.Response - As a matter of fact I did use my adult communication skills to to call you directly and to discuss the unfair charge of my tow bill and to try and see if there was anything that could be done to reduce this billing? I talked to who the person that answered the phone described as, the manager of the Ames location Johnny, after I learned of your tow charge from the body shop where the car was towed. I contacted the BBB after I felt the charge was unfair and out of line of other companies in addition to the fact that your company was not willing to reduce any amount of this bill. The manager explained that a standard charge is $65 and an emergency doubles this charge, which brings to $130 plus mileage. Then he changed his story to reflect the $300 you charged me to tow less than 5 miles. I want to inform others that may have a student away at school to be aware of your company. I would and will advise anyone in this situation to get a quote from the tow company before anyone ever hooks to your vehicle. And dont call Papas. I will take fault, as to never assume you will be treated fairly.

These guys are really my go to company, they are always willing to help me in a break down situation or just when its time for a repair. I appreciate your work and they earn my business. ( Local tree company).

Unfortunately got to meet Dave on the side of the interstate when my company semi needed pulled out during a blizzard... Id been towed once before by a corporate tow truck who was a butt hole... not Dave... he was so friendly and jumped right away to get me on my way... highly recommend!!!!

Had me up and going in no time. Great people.

Had a Mack truck repaired there for wheel bearing failure on the steer axle. These guys did a good job of getting my driver up and going but failed to check the front end alignment after replacing the spindle. Steer tires ground off to nothing in a week. I tried to contact them both by phone and e-mail for restitution and I got no response. Had to eat a tire and alignment bill for over $1000.00.

Called a bunch of shops around ames everyone said busy or outrages prices this place was at my truck within 25 mins and got me back to dsm for an amazing price. Hopefully never have to call again but if i have to will be the first place.
