I rented a sod cutter at the end of the day that had an issue almost immediately after I started using it. I called the after hours support and Joe drove to the store, loaded another sod cutter, and delivered it to my backyard at 8pm so I could get my job done! He was cheerful and didnt make me feel guilty for calling.Ive rented many things from Timp Rental but this service has earned my business for life now.

These guys saved my bacon one year and were super friendly and professional. Ive gone back ever since. My favourite part is being able to make a reservation on the equipment because then when you plan ahead you know that your going to get the equipment you need rather than shaking some dyes and hoping like other big Box stores the do rentals.

Timp Rental has been amazing! Usually you get what you pay for, but despite having the best rates they have truly bent over backwards to accommodate inconveniences caused by my own mistakes. The equipment is always in great working order, and their low cost delivery options makes it so convenient. After years of using them I wouldn’t even consider shopping around, they’ve definitely earned my loyalty!

Way cheaper than home depot rental. They teach you how to use the tools if you dont know already. Pretty good policy of last minute cancellations as well as if your equipment breaks. Great to have nearby

I had a good experience while renting a sod cutter from them. Service was attentive and friendly. The guys in the yard got the trailer and machine loaded up quickly with a minimum amount of waiting.The return Monday morning was a bit busy, but not any more busy than what youd expect. In spite of the group of people waiting for the gate to open, I was able to get in and unload in around 15-20 minutes.

My experience with timp rental was amazing. They were very easy to work with and we didnt have one problem. Their machines worked great and worked all day. They were also very cheap compared to other hardware stores.

DONT EVER RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!After they contacted us and we explained we needed the moving truck a few extra day and we would come in and get them the rest of the money owed for those day, they turned around and reported the vehicle stolen I had to fight for 20 minutes after hours for someone to call the police and cancel the report so I could return the vehicle without being arrested. We get the vehicle back get the to them for them to give us the rest of our bill keep in mind we already paid 200 of it up front we got the insurance which they informed it would be $25 more not $25 more a day they now are trying to charge me 50 a day which is bull but even with the extra 25 a day we should only owe 413.90 more they are trying to charge us 536.43 but with the fact we didnt get told we were paying 25 more per day the total should be 238.90 we have contacted a lawyer and they cant legally charge us 25 more a day if that was not stated before we agreed to it. DONT EVER RENT FROM THEM THEY WILL TRY AND SCREW YOU OVER!!!!!!

Very poor experience. Being a former contractor, and using them often in the past, this place has seriously gone down hill. Don’t know if they changed ownership recently or what. Reserved a piece of equipment days in advance. Have people lined up on a project waiting. Show up to the store and they’ve rented out my reservation and waiting for one to come back in. Waited forever and finally left. There’s nothing more frustrating. No care or concern on their part. Just ‘sorry’. Have a bunch of teenagers working there, which I am all for actually, but when they can’t communicate effectively or solve problems that’s when it’s a concern. Adults are hiding in the back and won’t come out to solve an issue. Will not be coming back. Nor would I recommend you use them. Two other customers before me had major problems as well.

Dishonest...we rented a cutting touch to have as standby on a project. Was never used and never even hooked the hoses up upon returned charged us for using 200 psi of oxygen and 10 lbs of acetylene?This is a bad way of charging for use as the bottles were rented out at 4pm being warm outside and returned in the morning being in the mid 30s obviously cold bottles have less psi.. they did not care charged us for using something we did notWill not return here

Lots of things to rent at a good price. Rented a moving truck for 2 days.

Beware when dealing with this company. We rented a backhoe from the for 1 week. We paid $1089 which included one week rental, and we opted to buy the additional insurance. During the week, 3 of the 4 very obviously old/used tires went flat. We had to call them out to fix them 3 times. Each time, the worker said to keep the backhoe an additional day at no cost because of the down time. Which would make it a 10 day rental. When we returned it the next Tuesday, we were told that we kept it too long, as well as we had damage that wasnt covered under the optional insurance that we bought. 2 of the 3 tires were actually fixed and not replaced. They said that they would contact us about the additional cost of the tires. A few days later, we get an un-authorized charge to our card for $1068. When I called them to see why they charged us, they said it was for the additional days that we had it out. Even though those were supposed to be free because of our down time. I called and spoke with the owner, Joe. He said that his employees do not give free downtime for Sundays and that we should have had it back by Saturday still. He would only refund $685. Why would he not refund the full amount? We were very obviously told to keep it until Tuesday. Had we known we would have been charged additional, we would have returned it Saturday with no problem. So he over charged us just for time by $383.Then comes the damage cost. Last time we spoke, when I asked him to not charge our card un-authorized again, he said he would let us know what the damage costs would be. Keeping in mind, we already paid $383 more than we should have, we werent imagining the damage costs should me much more than that. Especially since we bought insurance for it. SO imagine my surprise when our card was yet again charge un-authorized for $1118. Ridiculous. When I called to see why our card was charged AGAIN. He had nothing but excuses. Kept saying that he was being more than accommodating to us, which is hard to believe when you charge someones card twice for over $1000 not expecting it. His math of what he thought he charged us and what we actually were charged did not add up. He does not believe us that we were told to have those extra 3 days for free, and I do not believe him when he says that he is only charging us for one tire. When he actually was paid $1501 more than what he should have been. Do not give this company your credit card without the knowledge that they think they can charge whatever, whenever they want.
