Very Honest and Genuine people! My car showed 10% for the oil and when they checked it here it was actually good and did not need to be replaced. Instead of doing the unnecessary oil change and charging me, they reset my indicator. They still filled up my wiper fluid even though I didn’t purchase anything. Amazing people. Highly recommend!!

Thank goodness Google did point out this place for an oil change I did get a $10 off coupon through their website and not disappointed at all. They do not try to upcharge you on your oil they give you the recommendations and they will also show you what your filters look like for your air and cabin if needed. Will do business with them again and recommend it for others

I was on the way to doctor and my low tire light was flashing. The tire was very low. They promptly aired my tire and did not charge me. I was able to go to my appointment and then have the tire repaired. Just wanted to say thank you!

I had a basic oil change Saturday morning. Less than one hour after, the car burned to the ground, total loss. I will update, on how Take Five responds to this incident. Only the second time I’ve used this company.As of this morning 10-16, I was just informed by a Take 5 representative, That based on information they received from an investigative company, compensated by Take 5 . The fire that destroyed my car, had nothing to do with the oil change, and car would have caught on fire,in the next 15 miles. This information is complete opposite of what the fire captain on scene stated. I was informed Take 5, has no liability in this incident. I will update as we progress..

My experience was such a good one! Landon and Chris took very good care of me, made sure to show me my air filter. I love that there is a safety check done before I left. I have had problems with my oil filter and/or plug not being tight before at other places, so hearing Filter tight, plug tight yelled out from someone who was under my car at the time gave me peace of mind. I would recommend 10/10 times!

Waited 30 minutes to be told they were out of my oil but would gladly put in synthetic at the higher price and would not blow out the air filter, just wanted to sell me a replacement. If you cant keep basic oil in stock should have taken the hit and offered synthetic for same price, that is customer service

Came to get an oil change. The service is fast and the staff is courteous, and there is a perk of staying in your vehicle while they do the work. Was able to replace the air filter and cabin filter, which they showed me a comparison of a new filter to my current one.However, they insisted they could not complete my oil change as requested due to my drain plug being stripped and they were not equipped to replace it. Cool, I settled for the air and cabin filter replacement and went on my way.I decided to get a second opinion at another location and was taken care of immediately regarding the drain plug issue, which was a simple fix, and got my oil change. So either the staff here at Take 5 just didnt feel like dealing with the issue, arent trained to deal with the fix, or just plain did not want to service me fully. Regardless, while they offer convenience, they have not earned my trust and do not recommend this location based on my first experience with them.

Took my daughter’s car there for an oil change. They left the hood ajar with the power steering cap off which did not allow the hood to close. Her car started leaking oil, and a lot of it, right when she got home. We took it back and they spent five minutes saying nothing was wrong. Then decided it was a part they do not touch, therefore the leak could not be something they did. After looking at it, we have determined they overtightened the oil filter cover causing the oil filter housing to crack. We will NEVER take our business there again. They really deserve 0 stars.

Last time I took 3 vehicles for oil change and oil filters backed off very loose, lost oil and had to change again within 3 days, should the filters come completely off, would have lost the engines...this customer will never go back for seconds

Came by for an oil change and noticed it had changed from Precision Lube. I figured, what the heck. When I saw the tech pouring oil into the car in front of me from a 5 gallon container was the first red flag. I pull in and was told they would be right with me after they finished up with the truck in the next bay. Come to find out, they had started the oil change and found that they were out of the correct filter. After double charging and then finally refunding the total onto the gentlemans credit card, the manager or lead hollers at everyone not to run cards before the work is done. Then, come to find out, the safety check had not been done. The guy that did not do the check then comes to my car and asks what kind of oil. I told him 5w30 and he wants to know synthetic, hybrid, regular, etc. I told him I didnt know that the place I normally go to never asked. They just changed it and I was on my way. He didnt believe me for some reason and questioned me on it. This place was absolute chaos and very unprofessional. Do not take your car to this location in Amarillo at 34th and Coulter if you value your vehicle. The place looks like a bunch of drinking buddies got together and decided to make some cash changing oil. It is a mess!!

My husband went here on Wednesday,we were loyal Precision Lube customers, but things have changed dramatically since new ownership. He got there about 5:20 and decided to wait. He finally pulled into the bay right at 6 PM. He was told they could not do his oil change because we had a plastic plug and they were out of metal plugs to replace it in case it broke. He was told to come back in the morning . He was upset but thought ok. Got home and decided to look at plug and sure enough it was a metal plug. Employee just did not want to work anymore. They have lost our four vehicles business over this. If they lie about that what else are they lying about?

Went yesterday for a quick oil change, boy was I wrong, misty working on my car was horrible. She already looked like she was having a bad day, but when she got under the car was nothing but f words cause she couldnt take my oil filter off, with our 6 yrs old daughter sitting in car hearing all of them. Not only that, but she shorted me out of some change. Would not recommend definitely.!PS: you have to crack windows because your engine is off and hot inside not like we had a choice.

I pulled into town needing an oil change, and I was Hustled from the gitgo. He tells me they ONLY have Premium and when I hesitated he said they already started draining the oil. I was not pleased, and will NOT return.Good Luck, get it in ink, and GET A COUPON!

They dont even change your oil filter here. My mom went here and I got under the car and it still had the oil filter on it from years ago when I did an oil change for her. It may be fast service but its not done right! Recently she went there and they didnt even check the other fluid levels like they say they do cause the coolant was low as well as the brake fluid. Hands down would not go here. Your better off going to jiffy lube and paying a little more money for an actual service.

Great crew of guys who work here! My 75 year old moms van stalled nearby and they were kind enough to come help her push it out of traffic. They dont do mechanical work but we will definitely be coming here for oil changes!!! I am so grateful to them

Please be aware that this business has changed ownership. Bill Cherry and his family no longer own it. It has been sold to a chain out of Florida. I have been taking my vehicles here for over a decade but NEVER again.As far as a review, I dont even know where to begin... I took my vehicle here on 1/4/2020 to get an oil change and get an inspection. First off the the procedure took in excess of 50 minutes. It used to take 10 to 15 minutes. They recorded my milage wrong and there for my sticker is wrong. The incorrect sticker wont stick to the windshield. They lied on their service check list, they did not check my air or cabin filters. My battery is not maintenance free. No choice to brand of oil. Tried to upsell me to synthetic oil. Would not pass my car for inspection due to a minor issue that has been passed several times. I drove down the street and hot my car inspected. The adress on the invoice does not exist. They use impacts to remove and replace oil drain plugs. Just stay away!

The only reason I even gave this place a star is to rate them. Had oil change and they didnt put our engine cover back on, fine! But when I call to tell you this the women on the phone was really rude and said the manager would call me. Still waiting for a call. At least apologize and say youre sorry. This is the last place we had our oil changed so I know it was them.

Worst customer service. Takes 3 people to gaggle around a vehicle while others sit. Then get attitude from the guy going to change my oil. Very slow. Won’t ever return or recommend.

Always have used them and they have always been great but recently they have hired new workers and I came to get my car inspected and had one of the workers yell at me because I didn’t pull my car in fast enough..... don’t really appreciate being treated likethat so needless to say I’ll be finding another place to get my car inspected and oil changed for sure......

Recently changed branding. They don’t carry the same oil products as before.When I asked them to put the same oil as before in, they said they didn’t carry it anymore. But they already drained out my old oil so I was stuck getting it changed there.Prices also went up noticeably.

I will never use Precision Lube again. My wife took her Volvo for a state inspection 20 minutes ago. They claimed her tint was too dark. Two Problems. First, they did the inspection last year on the same car with the same tint....{PASSED} LOOK IT UP IN YOUR SYSTEM MORONS. Second. When she left PL, she took the car 500 feet down the road and guess what. They measured the tint at 23% PASSING. On top of everything else the owner then called my wife LITTLE MISS. Shes 55 so that is just the owner being a Male Chauvinist pig and hopefully all the women out there will take their cars someplace else for oil changes or inspections.

Worst customer service ever. these people were rude, cocky and difficult. i will never take my business there again. the world we live in now sucks bad enough without having to put up with people like this. Horrible experience.

Called for a quote got one price from a girl last Saturday. Come in this Saturday and the old guy charges me 11 bucks more. I ask why and tell him the girl quoted me his response is there aint no girls working this weekend and the price is what it is. Im never coming back here.

Cost me $900 to replace my oil pan after they overtightened the drain plug so tight the mechanic couldn’t even drill it out. Owner wouldn’t even call and apologize much less pay half of my bill. Shame on you! Lady working the phones talked to me like I was an idiot!!!

Do NOT give this place your business here in Amarillo. They don’t care about their own employees so they surely don’t care about you or your vehicle.
