We joined up with Seth, a few important details and promises were not true we only found out the hard way when we came back for our consultation with Noelle, he just wanted to get us, and he did, and I mean there were 3 family members that joined at that time, we were excited, until our training with Noelle, she has the worst customer service I have ever encountered, she doesn’t let one talk and her gestures while your trying to get explanations is wicked, she talks at you and not to you, what was said verbally by Seth, come to find out was lies, it’s going to be a long long 11 months with these clowns. I however will never ever refer anyone to this gym, and only because of the staff, and the principal and the value of a persons word, they have no values.

We loved the gym when it first opened but with the frequent amount of staff changes, it is clear that over time the attention to the care of the gym from the staff has been lost. We are at the gym at least 3 days a week and the last two weeks it seems like things have gone down hill. They want you to sanitize the machines after use, but the paper towels have been empty. Tonight, there was only toilet paper in one of the stalls and the toilets were not clean.If you care about gym etiquette, you will not find it here. Not a single person racks their weight, not even the personal trainers. It is very frustrating when weight is left on a machine because you have no idea if someone is using it still or not.They state this is a luxury you can afford but clearly the luxury you are getting is no where near luxury.We would absolutely love to leave this gym but when you sign up, they tell you it is not a contract but once you sign your name, you are stuck in a 12 month contract with no way of getting out. I dont know why any honest business would want unhappy customers money. The leadership and integrity of this company is lacking and needs a major restructuring.My best advice is to take your money to a gym that actually cares about your membership.

Signed up today. Easy process, cheap monthly rate, awesome equipment, but it cost 160 to start 😭. Then its 9.99 a month 😀. Opens at 5 am and closes at midnight M-F 😀 but dont open until 8 am on weekends 😕. Oh, did I say how awesome the equipment is 😍. The girl that signed me up was great. Cant tell you much more about the place because thats all I know so far. Its also CLEAN!!

I was conned into signing up, was told they would be going 24hs like the locations in Lubbock a few weeks after there grand opening, as well as full access to all the locations including the boxing rooms which these rooms are always locked up never allowing people in, as well as having a large amount of classes and group personal training . All these things were a lie with a unbreakable 1 year contract, the sales man instead up setting me and my wife under one plan as a family he told me there only individual plans so they could squeeze out more money. Other than there new equipment there hours, classes, pricing sucks I plan to cancel my 1 year contract the moment its up knowing them theyll force me to jump hoops like to write a certified letter to God knows where just to get out.

This place just tries to scam u for more money. cant even workout in peace without them sniffing down my neck. Try it out it yourself but the price is not worth paying especially with rude staff.

Signed up for the free trial and had nothing but trouble. Walked in and told the front staff we were there for our free trial and they said “okay just sign this liability waiver” which was fine. After a worker named Nicole gave us a tour she told us “because we pay for it you can’t do the trial”, after reading all these reviews I’m glad we didn’t sign up. I feel like we were being lied to just so we would sign up.I proceeded to call over the phone and asked the same worker named Nicole if they had a free trial and her exact words were “it’s hard to say”. Girl... yes or no. No transparency or professionalism.

I went to the gym back in June to try the free trial. They gave me 30 days as a promotion. We signed a plan that would take effect after the free trial. I went the following day to the gym, everything went well but I ended up in the hospital the following day due to a rheumatoid flare up so I called to cancel my subscription since I wasnt going to be able to go anymore. Its been 2 months and I am still having problems canceling with them. I am still being charged. This is the first bad review I have ever left. But next it will be with the BBB and legal action. Dont play with my money and expect to get away with it.

I’m sorry about $130 per person just to sign up is a bit ridiculous. Good luck to your gym, but if your business practice doesn’t pan out it won’t surprise me

They are misleading even when specific questions about the contract are asked. When things became an issue I got 3 different answers from 3 different people. I was lied to. Highly regret coming here. Never would recommend.

Be sure to read their contract carefully even though its a lot to sign they make sign a contract that states you can not cancel for 1yr unless a medical condition or you move...GM Pat Rose is not professional.. This gym is a total rip off. I told him when we signed up there was hardly any classes and we wanted to use the basketball court however it took forever to even get the goals set up so to me when you cant offer what I am paying for that is a breach in contract will never use them again.

I got conned into signing a contract for personal training, And I don’t know how many personal trainers I went through. I’d go in for my training and I would have a new one and we would have to start all over again. It was a waste of nearly $900. I finally quit the personal training. I’m roped into a one year contract with this place that I can’t get out of, but as soon as it’s ended I’m out of there. There’s a lot more better quality gyms in town than this one.

I am giving a 3 because I do like the gym its self and the equipment, however my husband has to work out first thing in the morning or he doesnt get to work out and when the opener is late over and over again it gets frustrating because then he has to miss his workout. They need to hire more reliable people in the morning.

Just from looking at other reviews it appears the gym shouldve opened when all amenities described in plans were ready. Gym is now open and some features provided in packages are not available at the moment but will open up with time. Solid gym floor and weight layout and plenty of machines for many fitness enthusiasts. Staff is friendly and welcoming but could use slight customer service experience improvement instead of pushing sales.

This place is a lot classier than your typical gym. Has a basket ball court, sauna in men’s room, kickboxing specific room, and woman’s only area to get away from weirdos glaring. I think it has something for everyone and would definitely say to people who were upset about the late opening that it was extremely worth the wait! Even the Trainers are excellent! And there isn’t a lot of people so if your a hermit like me you’ll definitely love the fact it has so much space! try Tru Fit!

It’s great. Layout is a bit funky in some areas but overall it’s a good gym to get a workout in. By the way, mirrors seem broken because i can’t see my gains.

When I signed up for the more expensive deal I wasnt told that the gym is not going to be 24/7, and has no tanning beds. Besides that I was not told that Ill be under 1 year contract. Now Im in a situation where I cant do anything about it. I want $10 dollar rate like everyone else because Im not getting anything extra and paying $27. Very disappointed.

The facilities are new and up to date. However, I signed up for the 5 day free trial and when I showed up, one of the workers asked me if I had ever been there, and he showed me around. When we sat down to discuss membership options, he told me that the free trial was for people who had never been to the gym before. I had only been there once as a guest with a member and was seriously considering joining, but wanted to try it first. He tried to manipulate me into signing up for a membership that day. Then when I told him I would need some time to think about it, he said, Well I can let you workout for free today if that is what you want. He did not act like he wanted my business, so I will take my business elsewhere. While looking for other gyms, I found all the reviews on Google and noticed the negative feedback as well as the lack of response of the gym to those reviews.

The staff is great, the equipment is awesome and with the building being so massive, there’s space for everything. They have so much to offer and it already feels like a great environment! The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because I was most excited about the sauna especially because it’s one of the few gym here that offers it and it’s not working yet. They are waiting to get a part in but I didn’t get any type of time frame so that was a bummer, I’ll continue to go no question because they have overcompensated, but hope that sauna can be used soon!

This is the second time since this gym has opened; they have failed to open on time. People pay for a membership for a service, and and should expect the business to open on time. We waited 15 minutes and had to leave. Its disrespectful and irresponsible. Its one of the problems in the world we are facing today. People need to be responsible and be held accountable for their actions. Will it happen? Probably not. Unacceptable.

This is the worst gym I have ever joined. Very unprofessional. The District Manager, Pat, at the Amarillo location was extremely rude and not helpful at all. After reading other reviews I am not the only one that has this complaint. I guess this is the only way they can get members...by tricking and trapping them. The day my “non existent contract” is up I will be cancelling. I will be telling anyone I know to avoid this place at all costs!!

No transparency with the customers. When you sign up they make it very hard to read what youre actually signing. Ive even heard bad things about the lack of professionalism from some of the employees. The price isnt bad for whats offered but the quality of the company itself is terrible as well as the customer service. Dont sign up for a free trial with a personal trainer either, unless you plan on paying for that trainer from that point onward. Do not sign anything without reading closely because they will lie to you about what youre agreeing to. Read all fine print.

This place has people give fake good reviews to counter all the bad ones where they literally lie to your face and tell you that you can’t cancel your membership unless you have a medical condition. Pretty sure that’s illegal

I was conned into thinking I could CANCEL my membership when I heard the guy say it was a contract.. the The GM Matt signed a cancellation for. And said if you want to cancel in two wks, I already signed the form. And now theyre ghosting me and not honoring the cancellation that he signed himself. He also was giving me hell about not knowing my bank number and was taunting me about not knowing it.

Very poor communication. Tried signing up and no one would help. The “contract” was non existent until weeks later when they were telling me something was due. I asked for an explanation and one couldn’t be given. I went various times and everyone was pretty unprofessional.

I think the place is great. Lots of equipment to use, dry sauna, basketball, fitness/strength training classes ect. Most nights open to midnight which is great cuz I get off work at 11pm. Weight train at night, and Im hitting classes in the morning as much as I can. To me, they have something for everyone and every level. Staff is always welcoming and helpful. If I have a question about anything, someones always around to answer. Great place!

When I started a couple weeks ago I didn’t really know how to go about working out in the gym. Since starting with Caleigh I’ve learned about my nutrition, calorie intake, and how to properly use the equipment in the gym. She really helps me with trying to reach my goals in healthy way.

This place it a total scam. I’ve come as a guest and they always take my driver license then afterwards force me to talk to them about getting a membership. I’m coming as a guest for someone who pays for guests to come with them apart of their membership. The person who has the membership was not told about a contract and was told they could cancel whenever but now they say only if you have a medical emergency or are moving. Lies upon lies- they don’t care about you as a person they only care about getting people to sign up and betraying them. Being there this weekend their was hardly any staff and few recognizable faces- if that doesn’t say something I don’t know what does. I refuse to come back as a guest because I don’t want to be hounded and harassed. I will be taking myself along with many others elsewhere.

Hands down best value. In Amarillo. Boxing Basketball Free Weights cardio rooms full staff of people ready to help. And its brand new.For the price you would be sadly mistaken to go anywhere else.

We signed up to use basketball court and sauna primarily! Its been weeks now and every time I call they say by next week court will be up, by next week has passed and passed, and now delay is because of covid and back orders yet they seem to have all there other equipment up and running I will give 5 stars when the court opens but only if it opens with in a week from now.

So far its great. Equipment is great. Definitely better then crunch.

DONT bother signing up for the free trial they will not honor it. Even though it’s advertised on their website and Facebook page.Bad customer service. When you call on the phone you’re told “yes, we do the 5 day free trial”. But they do a 360 and switch it up once you actually go in. They want to sell accounts so bad they are missing out on potential business from gym goers who want to try it for a day or two before signing up.

The first review wasnt showing up so im trying again. Dont be fooled by the good reviews those are from the employees which shouldnt be allowed because their not honest reviews. This place needs to get it together.

I saw that one negative review they had and Im pretty sure they removed it so Im gonna leave my review of this place lets see how long it stays up. So this place has not even opened yet and this town is tired of them already. They have not been transparent with their customers and I dont understand why. They have charged people for services they have not recieved yet and its hard trying to get in contact with them. I toured this gym and signed up since they said the prices were gonna go up on opening date but Im definitely regretting it because they still have not opened. This company as a whole is very unorganized and It almost feels like their scammers. If they dont open by the end of the month im closing my bank account to make sure they dont get money from me. Very unprofessional. They should work on their customers service skills instead of their selling skills.

Had some slight bumps at first but it got handled pretty fast, best gym in Amarillo for the price plus you can get a trainer if you need it.

I was hounded in to getting a personal trainer and after the two free ones they offer I realized it wasn’t for me and I tried to cancel it and they told me i can’t cancel it and must pay the over priced payment each week when I don’t even workout there anymore, management isn’t any help and they try to trap you in their gym, they just want your money not for you to reach your physical goals

Its been a month and the basketball ball courts are not set up yet, that was one of the reasons we got a membership

The gym is great, I have gone here for a long time even worked as a trainer for a bit, however the NEW staff and managers are not professional. I asked the front desk lady to look me up by number because I don’t know my password and she said flat out “No” and i said “no?” and she said “Change your password” which I would not have minded if she had said it differently but she was rude about it. Afterwards I tried to tell the GM Charity and I stood behind her and Heather, another employee, while they conversed for five minutes just waiting to tell one of them what happened. As i told Charity she was saying she understood and didn’t know why she was rude about it. Then was cut off by Heather telling me the front desk lady was right, and I tried to explain to her that’s not how you talk to someone that pays for a membership. She did not agree, told me to be quiet so that the other members did not hear. I got mad then left. Don’t even bother telling the managers anything, they let anyone be manager here😂
