I called this office in trying to help my client assist him with his finances and Terry had attitude from the min she answered the phone. My client foreshadow that i would have a hard time talking to them because other people have tried to help him and they always have attitude. I would not recommend this office and do not waste your time. Not professional and she hung up on me...DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with rude people who obviously hate their job!

H&R Block in Altus is a joke doesn’t even deserve a 1 star! The older lady that works in there is rude and has absolutely no idea what she is doing! On her wall it said she’s been working for 15+ years but honestly you are better off doing it yourself, you can google basic tax questions just as well as she can. Definitely don’t recommend paying them to do them just to have to worry about getting in trouble for them being done wrong!They charged us $75 just to get our w-2s and paperwork back because we didn’t feel safe to do it that way even though they did absolutely nothing!TAKE YOUR TIME & MONEY ELSEWHERE!

Ive had great experience with H & R block for the last 3-4 years now.

Rude, unprofessional and held marginal tax law knowledge. After being charged an excessive amount we were given a discount to a price that was still too much...only to have our taxes done wrong after all. Upon returning to discuss the mistakes we were told that it may have been caught and we shouldnt worry. A further refund was discussed but was only talk. We received a letter discussing a gift certificate with nothing included. When questioned we were rudely told that we received our discount not and nothing further would be given regardless of the mistakes. I will drive out of my way to never return to this H&R Block location, I suggest you do the same.

Marginal knowledge of tax laws, especially if you’re not an in-state resident. I have had my taxes done at this location twice and each time I always walked away wondering if I’d get audited for mistakes on their part. We always schedule an appointment and had to wait for multiple minutes every time we came in, which is frustrating with small children.
