I have bought 2 vehicles from Four Stars, 2014 Toyota Highlander and a 2018 Toyota Camry. I have all the maintenance done on my vehicles here as well. After my alternator and battery died in Quanah, Texas during a long road trip far from home, I arranged to have my RAV4 towed to Four Stars. While waiting for the tow truck, I called the dealership and was assured by Dave, the service dept manager, they would work me in. Upon arrival, service tech Darrel checked me in and kept me up to date at every step of diagnosis and repair. Three hours later I was back on the road. I am grateful to the Four Stars team for their response to my emergency. They turned my day around in a memorably positive way.

I didn’t even buy a car here, but the guys who helped me Israel and Gabriel were amazing! I was looking at one of the used trucks that they had. Israel went as far as to video call me to show me the truck and give me a full walk-around. Overall, this dealership was amazing to work with.

I’ll preface this review and say I have not purchased a vehicle from this location. This review is primarily in regards to the Service and Parts department. I own a 1999 Toyota Tacoma that was in need of major repairs. Darryl in Service was more than helpful and very informative in assisting me with locating repairs that were a priority to make the vehicle operate efficiently. I never once felt I was being sold additional services that were not needed. Also, I was able to schedule service in a timely manner and given the opportunity to receive a loaner vehicle if required. When my vehicle was in their shop being repaired, it was the technician’s priority versus other locations that have technicians bounce from vehicle to vehicle and all of the repairs were done on time as promised sometimes even earlier than expected. The Parts Department was also helpful in assisting me in piecing together parts that were needed to rebuild my vehicle. Every time I came in to pick up parts they were very attentive and included diagrams on how to properly install the purchased parts.

Long-distance car purchases can be challenging but Cristian made it as easy as possible. He was very responsive and clear. When someone else began to look at the car I was interested in, he let me know, giving me an opportunity to adjust my plans. He and the Finance representative made a great team, securing a better interest rate, to enable me to obtain an extended warranty adding only $20/mo more than I had planned on. The price of the car was good enough that there was no need to negotiate for a lower price and I was in-and-out in about an hour. This was one of my better car-buying experiences.

Have not bought a new car there yet but was given the opportunity to test drive several cars there new and used. The salesman John was very helpful every visit. Just gave me the keys and off I went. And, even if you dont want a Toyota, they can get you what you want. Shop them in your search just to compare prices. Wont cost you a thing except some of your time. Those negative reviews that are on here must be from someone who is determined to either never be satisfied, or is mad at the world to start with. Do not recommend this place at all. Bought my tundra here. First time I had it serviced the drain plug was stripped. They had done engine work on it. Next time I had it here they cracked one valve stem for a slow leak and the next morning I came out to a flat tire.Next time I had it serviced here they charged me for tire rotation that I didnt ask for, and didnt rotate the tires. Then they said there was a recall and had it in the back for three hours, then couldnt give me any details on what the recall was about. Next time I get it serviced I found theyd stripped the drain plug AGAIN and silicone it up not to leak. So that was what they were doing for hours when they said there was a recall.I wouldnt trust these people to clean my windows.

I couldnt be more pleased than I am with the sales team, service department, management team and receptionists. They were well informed and answered my many questions in a friendly and timely manner. In terms of customer service, in my opinion they are second to none, I receive a call periodically to make sure everything is going ok with my vehicle. Even though I work out of town, Im still able to getting my vehicle serviced. Putnam will send someone to pick up my car and deliver back to original location. I dont have a negative thing to say about Putnam. They are great!

2 years ago we bought a 2018 Yaris AI. Financing was easy, and the whole experience was pleasant. 2 years later, we go to trade in having always made the payments before they were due and having no other delinquent payments and these people tell me they can only finance lower than the the original price for the Yaris. They low balled me on the trade in. Offering a good $5000 less than it is worth. Stay away!

I wouldn’t advise anyone to purchase a used vehicle from these guys online. I purchased a vehicle had the car shipped to my location in NC. When the car arrived it had more than 1000 miles more on the odometer than was advertised, I also asked that they at least detail the car inside and out, they did not. The car also arrived with a nail in the tire which required the tire to be replaced. I contacted the salesman to see if they could at least pay for it, no response of course. BUYERS BEWARE!!!

Ive dealt with these guys for the 2 vehicles I have now.i must say Im overly satisfied with the service they have here, from choosing the vehicle I want to having the best prices around.its really a no hassel,not pushy experience with them.

Nitrogen in your tires is the way to go, and they are the only ones that have it. It will keep that pesky tire light from coming on during the winter, when your tires are only down a pound or two. I feel it improves fuel mileage also. The guys do a great job in service. I took my pickup in yesterday, I no longer have one of theirs, and they swapped out my tires to nitrogen and even took the time to make sure my computer showed that all was good with each tires PSI. I have had great experiences with Nitrogen being in my tires. I drove to northern California and back pulling a trailer and found that all 4 tires were down merely 1 PSI from my starting pressure. Thats a lot of miles, elevation changes, temperature changes, and just a lot of work on the tires. Talk about reliable!!

We did our homework. We found the SUV we wanted and made a reasonable offer on Labor Day. We heard back from Josh Pollard the next day and he asked us to come down and test drive the 2018 Highlander; said he believed we could strike a deal. The vehicle was up front and ready. It performed like we expected it would. Josh had a proposal ready and we did strike a deal! We left with the vehicle about an hour or so after getting there. Josh had already talked to his Manager Dell Pauley who also took the time (after the sale) to talk to us for a good while and we got to know him pretty good as well. Theres a fantastic group of people, very personable that work at Four Stars Toyota. We got the feeling of a good, honest dealership that we plan on doing business with for many years to come. We are out-of- towners and sadly we couldnt find the same customer care in the town we live in so we had to look elsewhere and were glad we did. We also wanted to mention Gary Deeb who worked hard in getting us a comprehensive maintenance agreement for a great price to boot. My wife and I love the new SUV and plan to do some traveling. They will charge you arm and leg when it comes down to interest. I purchased my vehicle from them with the purpose to build my credit and i confirmed with financing officer that they do report to the credit bureaus which they did confirm however it was never reported to any of those credit bureaus and they charged me 30% interest on the top of it so be careful, there is no honesty here at this business.

Do not buy from this dealer go to Lawton or somewhere else just not here they Will. B.S you to get you to come in telling you that exact unit you are looking for is in stock In reality they do not have anything even close to what you called about I drove 50 miles under the pretense the Tundra I wanted was there and when I arrived they had a total of 4 tundras These people are crooks

Went in for my first oil change then on my way home my engine began to smoke. I took it back and they said the transmission fluid was leaking. How do you mess up the transmission during an oil change. They even tried to say it was my fault and that i hit something on my way home. And keep in mind my car is a 2014 and its barely 2016 its almost new. I will never go back there for service despite the fact i bought a service plan for like 2000 dollars.

I would never buy a vehicle from this dealership. A friend of mine bought a used vehicle from Putnam a couple of years ago, and I was present when he bought it. When my friend asked the sales person about the title history, the sales person told him that the vehicle had a clean history. Last week my friend was trying to sell his vehicle to another dealership in Altus, but was informed that his vehicle had bad titles for re-buy by manufacturer as a Lemon in California and Texas. The Oklahoma title my friend was given was a Duplicate Title, meaning the title was lost. Putnam now claims that Oklahoma doesnt have any disclosure laws, but I think there is a big difference between disclosing something, and straight out lying. Putnam doesnt respect the American Flag Etiquette, as was obvious previously on Facebook, so how does one expect them to respect American customers.

Today I purchased a car at Putnam in Altus. I must say going into it I was very nervous seeing as though it was my first car buying experience, I was also a little worried because my car was an 04 Taurus and I wasnt sure they would be willing to work with me on a trade. the first time I went I just looked at the cars on the lot and talked to Ramiro and john who were very knowledgeable and not pushy at all, I wasnt ready to drive because I wasnt committed to the thought of buying yet. yesterday I went back and Ramiro helped he by letting me drive the cars I was interested in and even talked to me a little about what my options were as far as my interest rates, he even had the sales manager Dell come out and speak to me about everything he could do to get me in the car that was best for me, he even offered me $500 for my trade!Today I purchased a 2013 Camry and could not be happier!!! I was very specific about the technology features, color, and interior I wanted. I was also interested in a hybrid, but I didnt know if that would be a good choice for me. John Timmons quickly won my confidence because he was knowledgeable the Avalon, and genuinely interested in advising me, so I could make a good decision. Key Points:- Usually when I go in to actually purchase the car, after many hours of negotiation, it takes hours. There is tons of paperwork to sign and discuss. This dealership and service advisor Chris Ross have set the bar for manufacturer dealerships for me. Halfway across the country for some training at Altus AFB, and my fairly new Tacoma, under warranty, was suffering from some very squeaky rear leaf springs. Without questioning what has been modified on the truck (nothing anyway) or my diagnosis, Chris said he could get it up on the lift, and in the meantime do some research to see if there was a known problem. After dealing with dealerships back home I assumed this was lip service, and was very wrong. Upon my return that afternoon, he already had the parts on order for a Toyota fix and said he would call me when they came in, but still wanted to get the truck up on the lift and take a look. Sure enough, when the parts came in, they got my truck in the next day and had me back on the road with a non squeaking Tacoma. The service department at Four Stars Toyota, and specifically Chris Ross, were beyond accommodating and willing to help, and other dealerships should take note. If ever back in Altus and needing to have a vehicle looked at, I wont hesitate to take it to this dealership. Thanks!

Outstanding Customer Service!First and foremost, this dealership is, by far, the best dealership I have ever seen with the finest people committed to getting the job done in a timely manner. I had my vehicle brought into Four Stars Toyota for a service appointment because I had an oil leak, along with a knocking sound coming from the engine (Not good). This was the only service center in Altus with the highest ranked reviews, so I brought it here. The vehicle I own is not a Toyota, it’s a Kia Optima. One of the technicians took my car out for a test drive so they could hear and diagnose what the knocking sound could be. Minutes later, the service manager (Brandon), and the advisor (Dave), walk over to me in the waiting room, sit down, and inform me that my engine HAD SEIZED. Completely failed! Of all places, how could my vehicle be completely done? Especially at a service center. Just a few minutes later, Brandon had walked back into his office and called someone he knew personally who used to work for Kia. This individual told Brandon to inform me about the engine recall on my car. About 2 minutes after he got off his cell phone, Brandon has an email in his inbox, prints it out, and shows me the particular recall for my VIN number. I couldn’t believe what was happening. Brandon encouraged me after hearing the terrible news on my car, that this recall was written in black and white and I had all the ammo I needed to get a brand new engine rather than paying $10k out of pocket. Had Brandon and his team not taken the time to go above and beyond like they did, I would have never known about the recall. It amazes me because I never asked him to make a phone call like that, he just did it because this place is devoted to OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE! And now, my car has a brand new engine at no cost to me. None!! My initial reaction to the situation was a panic, thinking I was forced to get a new vehicle. I am currently in the Air Force, and traveling to and from work is an absolute necessity for my lifestyle along with my fiancé. All of this happened right before Christmas, which was hard. But, I was given a service loaner vehicle to travel all the way home to Virginia for me and my fiancé to see our family for Christmas! Again, above and beyond.
