Went for an acrylic refill. Manicure isnt bad, but the shape of the nails is off. I tried to point this out to the tech during the manicure, but she didnt really fix it. Shape is uneven in that all of the nails sort of slope left - not filed evenly. Point shape/nail length is also irregular. Furthermore, she cut me 3x with the e-file, and never seemed to notice she was doing it. Ive revised this review from my original 2 stars because I think that was overly harsh, but I will not return to this salon if I can help it.

This was the worst manicure I’ve ever had. I was in and out in less than an hour and that includes the 10 minutes that I waited and another 5 minutes for the lady to get ready !! The tech couldn’t understand one word I said and I couldn’t understand her so there was no way to communicate what I wanted. I have as many callouses now as I when I went in. The polish is so thick and uneven that it looks ridiculous . I’m going to take it off. That was the biggest waste of time and money ever. I should have known when they were the only ones who had open appointments today

The one lady I had rushed my nails and when I got in the shower the next morning parts of my design were coming off because of the way she globed the paint on

I have gone here every 2 weeks for several months and always made appointments in advance. After the fourth time waiting 20 minutes even though I had an appointment, I finally asked why I wasnt bring taken at my appointment time. I was told that they get busy. I said, but thats why I made an appointment. She said that if someone comes in before me, they cant stop what theyre doing and take me. I said that is precisely what you should do because I have an appointment. She said all the appointment does is make me the next person in line when they are free. Apparently their definition of appointment is warped. I would think especially in this time of the pandemic, that appointments would be appreciated. If that is how they view appointments, then they should not make appointments and just be strictly walk in so people know what they are getting into. So beware...if you make an appointment but someone else happens to walk 5 minutes before your appointment time, you are out of luck.

I been going here for the last three months every time i liked how good they have been this time i am very disappointed the nails are uneven the prices are never the same and this last time i went they charged my card twice so for an uneven mess of Gel nails cost me $94.00

Had an appointment for a pedicure I was in and out in 20 minutes. No foot or leg massage did not trim or file nails. Terrible! Won’t go back.

I have just started going there in the last few months. And they are the best for getting nails done. I have been to several places and they did not do half as good . My nails always look wonderful.

Went there to get a color change, due to another salon screwing up a color I wanted, so I picked another color, and Amber did such a beautiful job on my nails. Nailed the design I showed her a picture of. Very nice people. Felt so welcomed, with the two good friends I came in with, who had recommended I go to check them out, and they were so nice. They even provided my girls, and I with bottled water for free while we waited. Very friendly atmosphere.

Very nice pedicure. Massage chair, exfoliating massage, and color included. The lady who did it was very friendly. Wish their gel pedis cost a little less, but I was happy with the results and the experience, so not too much of an issue. I watched the same woman do some insane freehand designs on some nails while my toes were drying, so Ill definitely be back for something a little more fancy! Definitely recommend an appointment.

Not a big place. Expect to wait if you are a walk in. They only do a partial pedicure for $30.- no dead skin removal???? On top of that, she did not do a good job. Look elsewhere.

Walked in 2 hours before closing and they said they wouldn’t be able to take me. I asked about the closing time noted on the door, and they said, “Oh we are going to close earlier tonight”. There is another option .25 miles away...went there and got right in with great service.

I paid $10 extra for something I didn’t like (I tried to force myself to like it but couldn’t) and then ended up going back with no problem to get it fixed but was not offered any money back even though I didn’t get what I got before. But when I got it fixed with a simple gel color, the gel polish was still very patchy and bumpy and it overall didn’t look good. My nails in general were different shapes and the lengths weren’t the same. Just sad over my experience :(

I decided to give Nail Elegance a try after receiving a gift card for Christmas, but I wasnt impressed.The facility is clean and the employees are nice, but the quality of the service was lacking. My pedicure was very short compared to most Ive had, and my manicure looked terrible. There were thin spots in the polish like it couldve used another coat, and the edges of my nails were missing polish. Within two days of my manicure, the polish was chipped so badly that it looked like I had been wearing it for over a week; Ive never seen nail polish chip so quickly in my life. The friend that went with me was also unhappy with her results (a pedicure and gel manicure), and I dont think either of us will be returning.

Only place I go! They do what you ask, and do it right! And if its not what you wanted or expected... Thats okay. Because they will make sure you leave with what you wanted and a smile on your face. My opinion, elbest place in Altoona to get your nails done, hands down!

I got my nails done the other day an it was one of my worst experiences ever. They were uneven an she messed up my nail polish an they are already falling off . Not happy

THEY CUT A CHUNK OF MY FINGER OFF!!! Didnt even care to clean it up after bleeding...Not a very clean place. They dont use real gel polish. My polish chipped within a couple days. Service wasnt very good. Prices were high for the poor quality they provide. I felt the employees were rude, careless, and quick with the service to get you out as fast as possible. I wouldnt recommend anybody to go here. Horrible place. I give .01/10

Treated myself to a mani/pedi today. There was a little bit of a wait but the workers were polite and apologized. They also provided me with a free bottle of water while I waited. Their massage chairs for pedicures are wonderful.

The woman was picking something out of her ear as she was asking me if I wanted to a manicure. Yuck!

Would NEVER go there again. I wanted the works.. mani pedi. They didnt clean my cuticles on my hands or feet, no foot bath, no massage. Nothing. I paid $60 for my nails to be painted. I could have done that at home. I give a terrible review and wont recommend anybody to go here. On top of that, there were no cleaning kits for the tools on the desks. I could see dust and grime on the floor corners. Never go to this place. While I was there one of the other gals was getting her nails filled and she yelled the he was hurting her nails.Update: I called and asked about prices and what the kits include. I was told you get a foot bath and cuticles cut with every mani pedi. I then went to the business and asked for an accommodation or anything for my service and they refused, told me next time they will charge me $100 for my time. $40 more just to get your cuticles cut.The fact that I paid $60 for simple polish is ridiculous. I have gone to many other places, paid the same price for much better service.

I have been going to Jon and Debs nail salon on and off for 13 years. Always profesional, always quality, I wont go anywhere else. I did twice due to conveniece, and was dissappointed. Nail elegance is #1 in my book

The Nail Artist was grumpy and unkind. The art was so-so. If it wasnt convenient to do it, then she should not have said she could do it.

My nails fell of in a few days. Should of known when 2 others came in and complained while I was there.

Nails were done well and price was equivalent to surrounding salons.
