Best barber in our area! Unfortunately my son and boyfriend needed a quick fix after a certain salon totally butchered their hair. Even though the guys at Mansion were booked as usual, they found a way to squeeze us in and did an amazing job! We wont be going anywhere else from now on!

I love this place, it was my first time here and Edgar was my barber. He took his time and did an indescribable job. He is extremely talented and makes you feel like youre one of the boys. The lines are crisp and the fade is flawless. I recommend everyone to check them out.

First time I’ve been disappointed in a cut and beard trim, unfortunately I was late for my appointment and don’t have the right to say much; but I will never go there for a beard trim again. 10 months of growth, destroyed in 30mins.

Huey hooked me up big time with an awesome cut! These guys (and girl) have a real attention to detail and I’ve never had a better haircut. Huey worked tediously to do a perfect fade for me. Hes a barber that knows what hes doing and makes you feel at ease. Im sure they all do but I can speak from experience with him. Highly recommend!

Was in town visiting from Dallas and have had the same dude doing my cuts for years. After having a disaster of a cut from somewhere else I was hesitant to try out mansion barbers. The reviews I read convinced me I should give them a try and I am glad I did. I blindly made an appointment with george and was not disappointed one bit. He may have done the best fade and cut I have had ever. The amount of detail and time he took making sure the fade was perfect was awesome as he was not rushing to just for you out. He straight razor faded part, trimmed up eye brows and gave me the perfect cut. I now have a go to guy when in altoona. While there I was watching other barbers and they were all turning out amazing cuts. Best part is they all made sure to tell you how awesome your cut looked before you left. If you are looking for a barber in the area do not hesitate.

This is an awesome barber shop and very much needed in this community. Mark was very professional and he spent a lot of time perfecting my haircut. He even threw in a beard trimming for free! I had a job interview later that week and I got the job thanks to Mark. Everyone in the shop is very entertaining and I felt very comfortable the entire time. Great atmosphere while maintaining a laid back attitude. Very much recommended!

I have been going to the regular box store hair places that have that generic feel to it, get ya in get ya out. But after going here this morning I have to say that this is quite the experience. Just by walking through the door is like stepping back in time. From the antique chairs to the guys cutting, it gives you an old time feeling. The attention to detail these guys give you is very impressive. Mark was my barber today and he is a very good guy. Made me feel welcomed and we talked like we were old buds. I would highly recommend this to any guy wanting that good quality cut with the old fashioned barber shop feel. Mansion park you guys are great!

Great haircut and the very best place to go for a beard trim. One of the only places around to get a traditional straight razors shave. Friendly accommodating staff. Also they sell a nice line of beard oils and other beard and hair products. Nick, Clay and staff are excellent. The shop is often always busy, my advice is to call ahead and make an appointment. They also offer walk in too. Highly recommended!

The men do an excellent job with my sons hair best barber shop around. They take their time and do it right. Update.. Avoid the lady!!! She messed up the boys hair one of them left with a red mark on his head and both boys that were with me have uneven hair. I only removed one star for her or this would be a 5 star.

Absolutely fresh haircut and a sharp shave, I have a few balds spots on my head from work and my barber worked perfectly around them blending it. Shop was super clean with a super chill atmosphere, will be back here for every hair cut.

Straight razor shave. Thats the statement of the day. Ashley did a face shave for me and it was outstanding. Its the full experience start to finish and I like my beard. I took it all off in her chair and left astounded. Talent and expertise is a weak way to describe the time I spent there. Ill be back as often as my beard grows. A+

This place is a joke. Employees dont show up for work when they have appointments and the solution is. Sorry man appointments dont mean anything to her instead of trying to get the man a hair cut they let him walk out. And as for walk-ins good luck. You might sign the book but they just pick who they want so you better hope you get lucky

These guys give great cuts (esp. beards)but after driving 40 minutes ( in the snow) and being turned away from the appointment we made, is poor business. Worse yet, the TWO guys there cutting hair were almost finished and they didnt close for another 45 minutes and couldnt be bothered to help us. Wish the owner had been there.

I would never go anywhere else in Central PA to get my hair cut. I dont know how they do it but my hair looks significantly better when I get it cut here compared to anywhere else. I had Huey cut me and my groomsmens hair the morning of my wedding, if that tells you anything about the amount of confidence I have in Huey and the other barbers that work here.

The most absolute worse barber there is around. I’ve gotten a haircut here 3 times, and was not happy or remotely satisfied with a single haircut. Specifically the women who worked there who gave me THE MOST painful haircut of my life. She ruined my hairline and make it un even. I will no longer go to this barber

So, last May, I was at Stevensons dry cleaning, renting a tuxedo for my sisters wedding. And I figured instead of cutting my own beard I would get a professional to do it. You know, to get the right angles and do what I needed to get my beard within presentable and manageable range.So I moseyed on over to Mansion Park Barber Shop and set an appointment. And I originally wanted a man, you know an actual male, who actually has a beard of his own, to do the work. But the one guy was busy when it came time to cut my beard so they suggested a woman there who they highly heralded.I initially balked at the suggestion. After all, I thought, What does a woman know about cutting a mans beard? Even moreso I was concerned, What does a WHITE WOMAN know about cutting a BLACK MANS beard?So I relented, but proceeded to play the tough customer. I sat there, indignant, like a jackass. And I may have transformed myself in the eyes of the barber, or, uh, barber-ess,..... into a gorilla, black panther or some other big, black, wild beast that was sitting in her chair and getting a beard shape up.Anyway she got the job done well enough. And it was a few more days until the wedding so I considered the beard was manageable enough and in range. A few more days of brushing and care and it was PERFECT!So the woman did a great job, she put up with my attitude, and did good work. And I was very satisfied with the work done. So I will go back at some point and get the exact same thing done.I highly recommend Mansion Park Barber Shop.THANKS!!

The price of a haircut is almost double what other barber shops in the area charge. The barber was distracted and talking to his friend the whole time. He didnt even shave the back of my neck. Very subpar for the price that they are asking as an upscale barber shop
