Very nice people to deal with. Dropped the car off after hours and filled out the form for repairs needed. Got a call the next morning with estimate for repairs needed. Gave them the ok to repair and then several hours later they called and said car was ready. Great service. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Couldnt provide me what I needed..said it would be a grand.....while United driveline charged me $20 to press on carrier bearing and these guys here told me it was not serviceable

Another shop seems to have misdiagnosed an issue I was having with my Jeep. Chicago Driveline definitely under promised and over delivered! They were able to find no issues (saving me over $1200 in repairs) and had me in and out in a day or so! If you’re looking for experts to care for your vehicle — this is it. They’re honest and don’t charge an arm and a leg for their work. Highly recommend and I will be using them again if the needs arise!

The guys did very good quality work, Maurice was very helpful gave me a fair and good price over the phone for brakes, Pep Boys wanted double the price until they heard me talking on the phone with driveline only then they decided to come down on their prices but it was too late they lost a customer, was able to go to Driveline and get the work done, and vehicle ready before I was scheduled to work definitely will be coming back and recommending to all my family and friends.

Wintertime chicagoland can be brutal. A lot of people get in a pinch with their vehicles. Snowfall is not a good reason to have a customers truck towed off the lot especially when the customer paid for the services done on the truck and expressed efforts to have the truck picked up. Businesses that lack compassion and reasonableness for customers during harsh times are a detriment to the community. I hope they change their customer service practices.

Not the same customer service as 4 yrs ago when I spent $2200 on major engine repair.(they did a good job) Now the front desk guy wants $140 JUST TO LOOK at car after I told him what I wanted done. Dont follow old reviews, look at newer reviews.

One of my best experiences with a mechanic. They were honest and you dont feel like youre getting the run-around. After they finished I accidentally locked my keys in the car and they got them out for frre. Best shop ever...👍👍

Everything was explained thoroughly. I went in to get my 4x4 worked on. While waiting, I received a text message with pictures and short videos of my belts, hoses, fluid levels, lights, tires, and axle area and a few more. That made me excited that they checked my baby like that. I have recommended them to a few friends already...

Had an emergency on the highway. After being towed to Chicago Driveline, the staff promptly assisted me and began working on my vehicle. They offered my husband and I water while we waited, as he understood we were traveling and shaken up a bit. We left the shop for lunch and received a text about 1.5 hours later saying my vehicle was fixed. The price was very reasonable for the last-minute repair. Staff were friendly and helpful. I hope I won’t have to visit them again; however, I would recommend them to anyone living locally.

Went in with a flashing check engine light. They discovered that a valve on the motor is defective per the manufacturer. Offered free advice and also scleaned the sparkplug free of charge (which was still good) to get the engine running normally again. Maurice was super helpful. Will definitely go back.

Second time here for custom driveshaft work, (shorten and balance) all work done has proved good would recommend!

They put the wrong yolk in my transfer case causing internal damage. This was verified at the dealer. After contacting them and taking it back they acknowledgedthe wrong yolk and replaced it but will not take responsibility for the transfer case. Said it was to old.

Great and dependable service. Very trustworthy and go the extra mile to provide service. They go through all the details and there is no pressure to have work done right away unless a safety issue. We have used Chicago Driveline for several vehicles and in the nearly 10 years we have been going there we have never had any need to complain or return to refix anything. We suggest to our family and friends to come here no matter how far. It is worth the effort.

Was never able to get the work done because the man at the front desk was very rude and acted like he didn’t want my business on two different occasions. First time I came was to ask for an estimate on getting my differentials regeared on my truck to make up for the larger tires I had put on it knowing it wouldn’t last long as is. I walked in He looked busy like he didn’t want to be bothered and gave me a price of the top of his head $5000. So I left and couple months later sure enough my differential went out due to the over sized tires. I went back and asked for an estimate and same attitude and said about $6000. I said No problem I need this done so can I get a detailed printed estimate on the work to be done So I know what I’m paying for. He reply’s nope I can only print out work orders. I left. Got the feeling he didn’t take me serious or maybe just didn’t like my face or something. Anyway found another shop nearby that took me serious explained everything and charged me around the same price for the work. I heard chicago drive line are the people to go to for this kinda work. That’s why I went there originally. Not to get treated like a joke.I hope you read this and change the way you treat your customers.

Thru my Carmax warranty program I scheduled an appt on line to repair front end trouble with my Ram. This was late Thur aft and the next available was Mon morn. Called directly and was OKd for next morning.Received texts with pics and videos of repairs being done during the day. Job complete by 4p. Smooth operation if you ask me.

Lets face it, if you are going here to have work done to your drivetrain chances are it is not going to be a cheap repair.With that said, my experience here was excellent. The service manager was straightforward and very fair with his pricing. He didnt make the soft deadline we discussed but he did warned me that it was just that soft. He did deliver as promised on the next business day.I hope not to need them for a similar type repair but if I do I would absolutely take my truck back to Chicago Driveline.

Took my cars there before, had some knowledgeable people at the time.Recommended my mother go there with her Explorer which had a new reman engine and trans put in, because its having a small issue with the idle and take off power.Offered to pay diag time to see if they can figure it out, they said they cant handle it. Guess I was wrong, or maybe they have new people working there that arent up to the task of diagnosing an engine.

I had some vibration issues with my 07 tacoma driveshaft. It had been inspected and balanced by one shop, and it still had an issue. I brought it to Chicago Driveline and they had it for about a day and a half. NO MORE DRIVESHAFT ISSUES!!😁😁 great customer service, very straight forward and excellent work! Just had my 2101 Silverado for a transmission replacement at Chicago Driveline. They made sure my truck was garaged before work was started. When I drove my Siverado home, it felt like a brand new vehicle. Im always pleased with their service because they are expert mechanics and charges are fair. They always follow-up with phone calls to ask about work done. I have been taking my vehicles (Suburu and Trucks) to Driveline for 15 years.
