It was extremely useful in helping us make an informed purchasing decision. I feel that we got a terrific value for what we paid. Scott was very friendly and professional. Oil leaking from oil filter after oil change on my wife’s AND my vehicle after oil change a couple months apart. My garage and driveway were a mess. I had brakes replaced and they seized 2 months later. Would not recommend.

Brought my 1948 Lincoln in for a new wiring Harness which had been ordered and was there. They had the car for over one year, and after numerous phone calls and visits they said it’s done and could be picked up. When the tow truck delivered it, I could not get it started . Scott said the ignition switch was bad and he had to jury rig a toggle switch until the new one he ordered came in. That was 11 months ago. Every phone call there is an excuse. Also many of the lights do not work so I assume wiring harness was not installed properly. Cost, over 5000. I would never take another vehicle to Scott’s Garage

Brought my 1988 Trans Am here for an electrical issue. The car was starting without a problem, engine idling without a problem, but stalling at around 20mph. While they had my Trans Am, I was in an accident so the car stayed with them for 2-3 months. When I finally came back to it, they told me that they couldn’t figure out what the electrical issue was. I asked them to put the car back together as they had disconnected the PCM and all the wiring was hanging. Drove by for a while every night, seeing my car still outside their garage, with all the wiring and the PCM still apart. They never fixed it, and after my plates were “stolen” from their lot, they called the Alsip police that my car was abandoned and I had to tow it away. Meanwhile the car still doesn’t even start because the PCM wiring is in pieces. I have to pay someone else now to fix their mess. Should I mention that I had paid them close to $300 already? Just in case they reply to this review, I have the police officer’s info with my complaint, before video of the car and also photos that are date stamped for the day I met with the police outside their garage, which I am not able to post here, but I will post on my Facebook review. What a disgraceful shop! Usually I am very careful with my choices but I failed to do so here. After all they were a recommendation. I wonder why...
