Service is top notch at this location. Super proactive staff is onsite. No need to be looking for help, they will come to you at lightning speed. They push the limits of what is possible when customer service is paired with efficient technology. I was there to pick up a new iPhone that I ordered online and even though I arrived late for my pick-up window, I was in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes. The layout of the store is minimalistic at its best to make its products shine.

I expected a bit from the service center of a company with market cap of $2.42 T. Longer waiting time ( even after taking appointment). Surprising part is that they could not fix the problem after more than 2.5 hrs and told us that they need to replace the phone. Surprising part is, they do not have any loaner phone ( This is the Apples value for customers). Now we have to be without phone for next 3-5 business days with a weekend in between. Expected a better services experience from a trillion dollar market cap company.

At the store on Sep 24th. A system seems to be in place to help customers pickup their orders but most apple employees were picking up people out of order. Plenty of employees standing around doing nothing to help customers. A general sense of delusions of grandeur permeated the store with customers as an afterthought. Its concerning given the lukewarm response Im seeking for the 12S phones. None of the employees have a name tag nor any accountability. Seriously considered cancelling my order but had used gift cards so figured itd be a lot of hassle. Asked to see the manager to help me understand why I was waiting 20 mins after they entered me in the system outside the store after checking my ID while few other folks just walked in and were helped right away. Talked to Ross the lead there and got a vague response about many queues for different purposes. Well there was only one order pickup sign in the store. All in all not an experience expected given the excess of employee presence and no lack of gadgets at their disposal.

I go Avalon apple store quiet a lot and I have had good experiences all the time. However, recently I bought a MacBook Air. I was in hurry to buy it so I didn’t realize what I paid for(traded in, apple care, promotions etc). Long story short, I went back to store next day and I had a question for the price that I paid. One of the managers(I guess there are a lot of managers) he was so rude. He shakes his head and say “I am the manager and I know what you are talking about.” Way that he talked was so rude that I was so sad, all the experiences that I had was good at that store. That is why I keep returning to the store to buy products but this time, not so good and I had to leave this feedback.

Very displeased that Haley didnt switch over my mothers iphone 8 Pro information to her iPhone 11 256GB when she lead us to believe it was. It put my Mothers safety in jeopardy. Mom brought in an operational iphone but left with one that was not operational.If she needed to call 911, she would not have been able to. It took 2 days to upload everything on to her new phone after T-Mobile and Apple Support got on board. And what makes it even worseApple does not have a complaint department. They have not contacted my Mom to address any remorse for Haleys negligence. My Mom purchased 2 iphone 11 256GB in 10 days from this same store. The 1st experience with Lance was so Beautiful, that my mom had complete trust in the care she had receive that she decided to buy the second one. That trust was misplaced with the second purchase. I hope that Haley has not put others in this position and that it was a fluke. In short T-Mobile Customer Service Reps are more caring than some Apple Reps. What a shame with the kind of money you spend with Apple.

Anything but geniuses on the genius bar.My iPad went on disabled mode when someone at home entered the wrong password a few times, but the keys on the display were a bit stuck. Took the iPad to the “genius” bar. After a long wait (even though I had an appointment) a girl took a look at my device and declared it useless. The iPad wasnt even two years old and she didnt even try to reset it. I was told I couldnt even trade it in because “the display was broken.” Fast forward a few months, I plug in the iPad, googled “restore disabled iPad” and my device was up and running in a few minutes after reset. No display issues. Good as new. I trusted the “geniuses” to help me solve what turned out to be a simple problem, and they either couldnt (or wouldnt) figure it out. As a customer and stockholder, I’m appalled by Apples disregard for its reputation by putting inept teenagers on the so-called genius bar. They are lazy and dum. If anybody’s a genius here, its me.

Came in to look into buying the new iPhone. They were too busy and suggested I make an appointment to come in the next day. I then notice that the people in the line behind me were given “special treatment” and was able to meet with a sales specialist. Needless to say I was much happier purchasing my new iPhone through my network provider.

Some of the worst customer service. First I waited a long time despite having an appointment and got ignored by a woman working when I tried to ask for help. I had an appointment with a senior customer service member over the phone to discuss the issues I had with my battery and make sure it would be fixed under my warranty. He made me an appointment and told me it was definitely covered and I wouldnt have issues with them saying otherwise. Well guess what? I get there and they refuse to fix it under warranty. They clearly do not care about customer satisfaction with their products and are all about how they can get your money. I shouldnt be having battery issues with a phone that is 8-9 months old. They clearly brush stuff off until the warranty is up because if I went there when I didnt have one they would probably be insisting that I get a replacement. I am super frustrated with wasting my time here after being told the issue would be resolved. Do not waste your time either.

Im appalled. I went into the store to trade in my 2015 MacBook Air for the newer model. The specialist who helped me was great. The issue arose when I left both my old and new MacBooks at the store for 2 days while they did a data migration. I did not have all of my documents saved onto my iCloud, so I asked them to please transfer everything from my old computer to my new one. I got a text message letting me know my new computer was ready for pick up, but when I got home and turned it on, none of my documents were there. They cleared my old MacBook once I traded it in (trusting they had completed the data migration they said they did), so there was nothing to be done. All of my documents are gone. Talked to Apple Support on the phone for around 30 minutes and the person who was helping me said that it sounded like it was their fault for not selecting all of my documents to be transferred. I cant even be happy about my new computer because all of my data is gone.

Came in to get my AirPods looked at. Appointment was at 12:30pm it’s now 1:34pm still waiting. I was checked in by an individual. I’m just leaving this review because I would have expected to have been told to come later if they couldn’t help me just yet.Now sitting here it seems I wasn’t checked in. With all the employees at the store I would expect someone to be monitoring the floor to make sure that people who are waiting have a que, or if there was a way to see the waiting que. another suggestion could be to have text updates on when you are next in the appointment process.There is also blame on myself for not asking and complaining when my wait time got ridiculous. However I made the assumption the store was run like the ecosystem of their products, and there might have been a backlog of issues.There’s no one to fault here because I think it was an honest mistake that someone forgot to press check in after taking my information and confirming my appointment. I just would have expected better.It is now 1:50pm and my AirPods are getting looked at so things are looking up.

“When you buy something from Walmart and it breaks you don’t go to Walmart; you go to the manufacturer of the product.”I bought the Belkin “lifetime warranty” screen protector for my iPhone from the Apple store at the Avalon. The screen protector started rolling back and cracking so I went it to have it replaced. The manager said the above statement and told me there was nothing he could do; I need to contact the manufacturer.Coming from the retail world, I’ve always taken responsibility for the products I chose to sell in my stores. If there is a problem, the customer is always right and we made it right. Retailers today, do not take responsibility. I wish there was another alternative.

Have been many times to this location. They are requiring masks and appointments. You must wait outside in line them be called in. Staff are friendly and helpful. The Avalon is quite upscale with top drawer shops and restaurants. You can even shop for a Tesla automobile if you like.We finished and went to Whole Foods market to buy wheatgrass. Every thing at whole paycheck lives up to it’s name. Overpriced and expensive. Nice big store but one must be wealthy to really buy a lot there. Beautiful seafood 🦞 department and deli and bakery are nice but way overpriced as well. Pizza slice was $4. Cheeseburgers 🍔 are over $6.They have a movie theater we went to a couple of years ago.If y’all are in the neighborhood check it out.

I’ve had a bad experience at this time and the person who was very rude to me name Emaly was cause of it, so I was waiting in queue and even not saying hello or welcome she was standing right in front of me with no customers and finally I stepped forward and asked her for help and she said what!!!???? Instead of saying how can I help you!!!Anyway my problem hasn’t been solved by her and she was keep telling me you got to call Apple customer care this is what it is we can’t do anything here for you! And I said OK thank you though and she didn’t say even by!!I hope the store manager addresses this issue!

Very professional and excellent AppleCare experience. Went to Apple Avalon 2 weeks ago to fix my MacBook with display backlight issue. The associate explained the entire process and gave me both choices for pick up in store or mail home for free. He also examined the laptop and well documented it. Great service overall.

I have been to several Apple Stores in Atlanta area (Perimeter Mall and Lenox Square) and others in the US, this one in Avalon is absolutely the worst. The customer service is very poor and the employees can get rude and disrespectful with the customers. My latest bad experience was with the short Asian girl who was of no help, abrupt and extremely rude. Will never go back.

There are now militarized security complete with black collard shirts tucked into khakis who vet people who are trying to go into the store. The store is by appointment only, which me and the man I was with had...But the security asks the same questions as the actual Apple employee so its redundant. The security was trying to make small-talk with the customers in line but it was just cringeworthy.I wanted to introduce the older gentleman to his first laptop and the Apple salesperson was super friendly, But there was no option for my companion to just freely use the computer for 20-30 mins. It was essential he do so to understand its functionality.Apple you get an additional star for cause overall Im a loyal customer...

Very conveniently located. Parking could be a problem. Store is always over crowded and wait times range from 10mins to 30mins on an average. Once you pass the hurdle of waiting and when it is your turn, service is great and fast with friendly staff.

Worst customer service experience ever. I made an appointment to buy a phone and add a line to an already existing account. After an hour an a half I left without a phone as they were unable to connect the new line to AT&T my service provider. I was warned by the genius before I left to make sure to check with AT&T to see if in fact the line was connected. Sure enough I checked that night and not only one phone line had been added but two. Its been two weeks now as I have been tossed back and forth between Apple and AT&T without resolution. Even today I made an appointment with Apple only because I had not heard back from them in a week. I was told it would be resolved in 2-3 days. I walked in hoping to resolve this and was told they could do nothing for me and to take it up with AT&T. If you are planning to go to Apple my advice is choose a different location.

I just came here today to get my iPad replaced. I told them I have AppleCare+ so they went on with the procedure and the swap was effortless. The staff members were so nice and helpful. If not for Chase, the young man who pushed through the red tape to offer a solution, I would have left disappointed. Still have issues with the hardware. DO NOT buy an iPhone 12 Of any model. Every visit is a rewarding experience, where I always come away knowing a little more than I did going in. My only criticism is that there seems to be a lack of variety in their accessories compared to other apple stores I have visited.

Incorrect profiled and ignorantly handled during a hardware replacement. This was my 1st time in a apple store also my 1st service issue with my recently purchased apple product. The Representative advised I would have pay out of pocket for hardware damaged although it was in warranty. Then provided a “replacement that I would not document for this reserved appointment”. He then concluded that “ we are giving this to you as a gift, because the cord your brought does not have a serial number nor does it match the iPad charging block that was brought in” the replacement cord matched the exact cord I brought in that he not only plugged into the charging block I brought in but saw 1st hand the cord that I brought in original came with the block I brought in. He refused to document the replacement saying “our log does not display the serial number for the cord; however, the was not associated with the iPad. Representative did not document my appointment nor testing the “gifted” cord to see if it would work for my device. As a paying customer. I do not appreciate how I was treated.

Okay, so this is the hands down BEST customer service I’ve ever had literally anywhere! Everyone from the security personnel outside of the store to the technicians working within are so personable, friendly and knowledgeable- they really go above and beyond. I came in today needing to get my phone replaced and Deason initially helped me out. He was extremely thorough and friendly; he took the time to answer all of my silly and ridiculous questions and even helped me install a screen protector that I purchased from another retailer on my replacement phone. When I got home, I had trouble getting my new phone to cooperate with my Network provider’s SIM card and my phone provider sent me back to this store, it was actually a problem on my network’s end as it turned out and not an issue with Apple or my phone at all, but the second associate/technician I dealt with, Ju, was familiar with the issue and not only properly diagnosed it, but also called my provider’s customer service department for me and personally took care of the problem so that I wouldn’t have to drive back to my provider or wait another day for cell service. He actually stayed later to do this and was beyond understanding. It should also be noted that this store was the definition of immaculate and they were following COVID safety protocol to a literal T. Masks, social distancing, safety barriers and hand sanitizers were readily available to ensure that staff as well as customers were as safe as possible. I had such a great experience and although I hope I don’t break my phone or have any more self inflicted technological mishaps in the future, I know exactly where to go if I do! Honestly, the staff is excellent and the two fellas who helped me out definitely deserve raises because they are literal gems!

Made an appointment and waited in line for about 20 mins and got seen pretty quickly. Apple store was very clean and took great measures for ensuring safe COVID practicing (wiping down phones and stations, ensuring masks and temperature checks, holding door open for others, and maintaining distance). Sales associate Jess was very helpful and kind and understood our needs, what we were looking for, and Understood our budget. She didn’t try to push products that we didn’t need, Was honest about the products and which ones she recommends, as well as pros and cons. Helped us out with trading in our phones, resetting and setting up the phones, giving us a first responder discount, signing us up for apple care, and ensuring an overall great experience. Will definitely come back to this apple store for future purchases, thank you!!

This Apple store is not helpful whatsoever. On the phone they hardly helped me. They told me to go here and they’ll run a diagnostic on my AirPods and if it’s something internal and NOT my fault .. I still have to pay for it! Apple is so over priced and their products only work for a year or two and then they stop working. So not cool. Just sad because I want to keep buying their products but if their not going to help me then I’m taking my business elsewhere !

Between coming up here, scheduling an appointment for an hour later, the coming back up here, waiting more. Four hours later I’m still waiting. For originally to purchase a phone but now I’m just picking one up after placing online order. They said it would take 30 minutes to process the order and told us to disregard the processing time it stated on the email.It’s been over almost an hour and half. Seems like their employees don’t have a grasp on the waiting times for processing orders. Wouldn’t have ordered online in the store if I had known this.

Scheduled a Genius Bar appointment for 3:30pm. Wasn’t served until 4:30pm. The employees were allowing those with appointments later in the day into the queue while those of us with current or prior appointments had to wait behind them.The online support staff told me I could go into the store for a potential same day replacement after confirming my issue via iMessage support. The in-store technician said otherwise and denied my repair on a replacement AirPod I had replaced just in June. Wouldn’t recommend scheduling an appointment here and I will not be purchasing any hardware from this location furthermore.

Brought my MacBook to this store for diagnostic services. They were not able to diagnose the issue which is not my complaint as I intended to eventually get a new laptop anyways. As soon as I got home to turn on my MacBook, I was unable to connect to WiFi as the internal chip for it was malfunctioning. This has never been a problem for me in the past, I have never had a single issue with my MacBook until it was in the care of Apple Avalon. I couldn’t get an appointment until 2 weeks from that day, so I waited and brought my laptop in. The service technician insisted it was a freak “coincidence” and that they’re not in the business of making money. I continued to explain my hesitation considering I had a functioning computer until it was in the care of this store, and the technician became extremely defensive and told me the fix would be almost $200. Not worth it, im not giving this store my money I will buy a different brand other than Apple for half the price and probably never have a freak “coincidence” of it breaking while in someone else’s care. Not to mention the system they have for appointments is pure chaos. “Security” organizes who goes in when and it doesn’t appear to have any particular order- just whoever they feel like letting inside when.

As usual-very helpful, pleasant personnel, in a modern store, conveniently located in a busy mall. Today no fewer than 5 employees offered their help and answered our questions.It takes a wait for an appointment to get to see someone in the Genius Bar for hardware problems, but the store is filled with staff who answer software and product questions.Thank goodness for Apples great idea to put their merchandise on display in such a nice, clean store design and staff it with many helpful men and women. Its worth the hours drive to reach the Apple store, but we need one in Athens,too!! Athens has 40,000 students that would bring much business to Athens if there were a store closer.

I bought this new “iPhone SE” from this store few days ago, I came home open the box there’s no charger adapter or the headphone, today I went there to find out why this accessories are missing, they didn’t said anything about this when I bought the phone, that you’ll not get the charger adapter and the headphone/earphone, unless you pay extra $20 for the adapter and extra $30 for the headphones.The reason she (apple store genius) explain to me at the door is “Apple” is trying to save the earth because there’s only “One earth” (which I didn’t know there’s only one earth, only She knows),by not making extra accessories which suppose to comes with the new iPhone,which you already paid $399, unless if you don’t pay the extra $50 for your accessories??If you pay that extra $50 for the accessories the earth will be saved?!?!They already “Ass-U-Me” that cause you buying an iPhone you must’ve those accessories sitting at your home!!!Instead of doing this deceive they could just simply make price for the phone $449.They already make there products so unique that nothing else doesn’t work with those, sometimes even their own different models.It’s just an extra money making scam that “we trying to save the earth by not making extra adapter or headphones.”Yet they’re not stop making new models or upgrades, that’s not harmful for the “only earth”.The store is overcrowded with their own associates.

My family and I waited in line to enter the store. We were told that it would be 10 minutes. There were several people behind us. After about 15 minutes they allowed everyone that was behind us to enter. Extremely disappointed in how being the only non white family waiting and was not notified we could enter. When we asked they did not have a reason as to why but we had to now wait again because the store was filled again. This is NOT OK.

Arrived to the store early for my scheduled APPOINTMENT was told I couldn’t check in early but yet the people that were WALK UPS were being helped quicker than the customers with appointments. Then I waited 30mins to check in was told to proceed inside the store where at 4 techs are all standing around in different areas not assisting customers but walks by and looks at me and doesn’t even offer help or ask what I need!!!Wow Apple products cost way too much for awful customer service!

Really? All these employees standing around and I have to wait in line (which really there isnt a line but a mass of people trying to hoard around 2 guys) just to check in. Then I have to wait forever just to have someone work with me? All Im going to do is drop off the phone to get fixed!All these geniuses walking around not helping all the waiting customers. All this eye candy and no service. Might as well just have all the employees leave.

I am very knowledgeable of Excellent Customer Service Experience. You see I work in Customer Service environment, that is why it’s a stickler with me. “Always remember “Customers Remembers” how they were treated. First of all this is my “FAVORITE “ Apple store of all times. Every time I’m in there I leave happy. My phone was stolen and had to purchase a new iPhone. The lady manager assisted me with transferring all my photos and contacts to the new phone and I purchased an “Apple Watch and set all that up at the same time. I was grateful and excited. The employees take time to explain how to adjust to your new phone. I know that I pass a lot of Apple Stores .. just to get to this one, but it’s my preference. This is a busy store but they act like there not and give you individualized attention!!....and I “Love them”!!!!

Not very happy so far. I brought my Mac to them on Thursday for a screen replacement and they said it would be ready Monday. Tuesday rolls around and it still doesn’t even appear that it’s left for repair. Very annoyed. Wouldn’t have bothered if I had known It would be just as fast to ship myself.Update: oooHaHohoho do I have a update for the 2 people that’ll read this. I just got the laptop back on the 21st when I left it on the 12th and it was supposed to be ready on the 16th. Not only did I have to give them the FedEx tracking number to find it even though it had been delivered on the 20th, but they DIDNT EVEN FIX IT. They replaced the logic board for a display defect. So you can probably buy things here but do not make repairs here.Update 2: now this is a good one. Not only did they not fix the laptop after 9 days but they damaged the display corner and now after sending it in for the repair again they expect me to be paying for their own poor workmanship. Never purchase or have a device repaired here. If you have no other choice don’t bother buying AppleCare as they’re not going to treat you as you should. Awful store with incompetent employees. They should be shut down and have an internal review done.

Despite the hustle bustle of the Holidays, we made an appointment pretty quick with the genius bar. When we showed up were taken care of within 20 minutes, including handing over the iPhone for a repair.A few hours later when we went to pick it up the process took a total of 20 minutes from entry to exit.Yea, people can Say 20 minutes Is too much, but....

This is not for the Apple. This for the bad Apples works there with attitude. I went there to exchange my cable charger it worked only for 2 weeks then stopped working.They make me buy another cabel. The guy he called him self Manger he said will email your receipt i left from there.This girl was standing next to the (Dameger) oh, sorry I meant Manger she didnt speak a word all that time. But, she started laughing loud behind my back.They have charger me twis on my card hope to get credit soon.

Very Very Very Busy. Staff was alert to guests that needed help, knowledge and had decent volume in their voice despite the loud ambiance. One thing I want it for a hand sanitation center because everyone touching everything, children touching everything, if someone wanted to spread something boy-o, I dont see whyd they go somewhere else. I hope they have a decent disinfectanting regiment that takes place at least every few hours, even that small touch could prevent the spread of bad germs.

I had to bring my daughter phone here because it wasn’t ringing and the rep was so professional. She ended up leaving with a new phone because it was defective. The rep took her time assisting us to make sure everything was done & working correctly before we left. I’m sorry I don’t remember her name. But she did an awesome job.

I have a great time every time I go in here. The people are great. The manager is great. I have consistency with every person I would with. They make you feel important and happy to be there. The manager is in with employees and customers working on the customer experience. Its authentic and nice to see. I had a hick up w what phone I wanted and had to make a switch. I was worried their would be an issue with this but instead it was a great experience. They should feel proud of how this store runs. Amazing job.

Really nice showcase area. No checkout station, everyone has mobile devices to handle checkout and appointments.Compared to other Apple retail stores, this place seems less noisy - perhaps some much needed echo absorbing.Very cool LED display on the back wall. Its huge.

I booked an appointment with this store when i went there the store was closed, apple never informed us that this store is no longer operating. wasted half a day to get there, when i contacted apple support, there were no help either, the customer support hung up on me.
