Been here a few times before a few years back. Nice haircut and am happy with the cut. Main issue is not a single person including the workers, guest, and owner were wearing a mask besides me. Felt very uncomfortable and unsafe with that with the pandemic and should have left before getting my haircut. Lady who cut my hair was nice but no mask and kept coughing without covering her mouth which made me uncomfortable. Would consider coming back after the pandemic but definitely not while covid is still raging on. Also I see the owner tends to say people weren’t there. I was a walk in and this is the location off of McFarland in the same shopping center as Waffle House and right next to a liquor store.

Their business hours are different than the one on their door or the ones that are showing on Google they say they close at 7 PM but if you get there by 6:20 door is already close

I’ve been going here religiously for nearly 3 years. Great staff and cool atmosphere. If I ever had to choose between relocating for work or finding a new job in the area, one of my considerations would be losing the opportunity to have this amazing barbershop experience every month. Real talk! AK is my guy, but they’re all fantastic.

Went to this location after a botched haircut. AK fixed me up and I’ve been a returning customer ever since. AK and his team are top notch. They actually care about what they do and take pride in providing the best customer service. Can’t say enough about this place. Check it out!

Seriously love this place. the people are the best, wild, crazy, and fun and most of all great at their jobs. I dont use the same barber each time but I know Im going to get a great cut and pampered to the max. Hot towel and a shave, just lay back and enjoy the the ride. Always walk out happy and relaxed

AK is good, the rest arent proficient enough to use scissors to give a haircut..they rely on clippers almost completely and that screws up the haircut a lot of times ... Ak must at least make sure they learn that skill

I have been going to this barbershop for over a year now and never had a bad hair cut. I always came satisfied and looking better coming out than when going in. Staff pay attention and will make sure you get what you have requested. Highly recommend this place to get great haircuts.

Had a great first experience here. I called in the morning to find out if I could get squeezed in as a walk-in. The young lady told me to come soon if I can and she could get me in no problem.She was kind and talked me through everything for my new haircut and beard trim. I also enjoyed the neck shave and warm towel. Such a great extra touch.I’ll definitely be back.

Awful haircut. They have one or two haircuts they can do well, if you dont want one of those they WILL mess up your hair like they did mine.

This was my boyfriends first time going to a place that wasnt a generic barber like great clips. He wanted something a little more difficult so we tried this place. The service was immediate and wonderful! They spent a lot of time making sure it was everything he wanted, and it is honestly one of the best hair cuts he has ever gotten. Go here for an amazing hair cut that even a college student can afford!

My husband always goes to see AK at this location and I’m always excited because he does such an incredible job! I finally went in though because I needed a change to my hair. I was kinda skeptical because it’s a barber shop and I wasn’t sure woman could go here but I was way wrong! Ashley is who did my hair and I love it. Not a short style either it was long and now right below my shoulders. My mom is a stylist so I’m extremely picky and observant. I love it and won’t go to any other stylist or shop again! The staff is amazing as well!

I started coming here when they first opened. This is by far the best barber shop Ive ever been to. The one time I had a less than perfect haircut was when they had just hired a new woman. After the haircut Hardy came and checked her work. You could tell that he really cared about the quality of the service I was receiving. He corrected something that I didnt really notice until he pointed it out. The woman didnt seem very very receptive to his guidance and I imagine was fired because I havent seen her since. I will never go to another barber shop. Just a piece of advice, because they are so awesome the wait during peak hours can be quite long so try to get an appointment or go during down hours. My favorite barber is Cam, my daughters is Shawn but they are all great.

First visit experience: I hate this place .. i saw the reviews and i went in. There is a new guy he doesnt know how to do a haircut. He messed up my hair please avoid him. Now i have to spend another $50 to clean up.. This place is dynamite! They did a thorough job cutting my hair. The barber she listened to me and did ask if they were to deviate from cutting what I said. They are hands down the best in the area. They have barbers they use straight razers for clean up and hot towels at the end. Would highly recommend getting a haircut here. And dont tip 0 like a bum, they work hard and charge reasonably.

Came in to get my haircut three months ago for the first time. Immediately upon entering, I was greeted by Jade, who seemed both eager and poised to take on the challenge. She was very personable and highly professional. I left that day very pleased with my fresh cut. Went back a month later and was just as delighted. Side note... apparently Jade enjoys Christmas music year round. On my second visit, the minute I walked through the door, Frank Sinatra was belting out a Christmas carol on the speaker (mind you, this was May). Jade assured me that this was not a Christmas album, but rather, just a random song on her Frank Sinatra playlist. I laughed it off, but deep down, she couldnt fool me. With that being said, if you walk in randomly off the street and are feeling festive, make sure you ask for Jade. She might just wish you a Merry Christmas in June.

Atmosphere is great I got right in but I came to get my neck cleaned up and a straight shave and it’s so not straight It’s not even close. If I wasn’t already down toward downtown I’d turn around. I payed $25 plus tip “$30” for something I can do at home. I came here because of all the great reviews and it’s right next to my work. I won’t be back.

The Cumming Barber Shop is by far the best barber shop I have ever gone to. I personally recommend you ask for Rachel. Shes fast, professional, and gives a perfect haircut.

Was charged $41.00 not including tip for a haircut and a beard line up. Didn’t get my beard trimmed just lined up and they charged me for pretty much two haircut cuts. Haircut was mediocre and my bangs aren’t even close to being straight. Didn’t even comb them down to make sure everything was even. Employees also cursing several times which wasn’t professional.I was a walk in and never signed my name on a sheet. Didn’t complain because I didn’t want to cause a fuss and I was in a rush but I felt taken advantage off.

Marianne did my hair cut and a beard trim today and it was the best haircut and experience Ive ever had. Definitely would recommend this to everyone.

Second time at the new location! Boy do they not disappoint, always great and close attention to detail! Great looking shop and all staff is top notch but I will only go to Hardy! Rest assured whoever you see you will not only come out looking great but feeling like a million bucks and for not much money out of your pocket. Best haircut Ive gotten in a while. I got a classic side part with a hard part and a skin fade. Its almost half the price of Roosters for a haircut but even the service was better. AK, the owner, is a master barber and he knows what he is doing. Will definitely go back.

Walked into the barbershop and was seen by Marianne. She did an amazing job on cutting my hair and detailing my beard. She offered me advice for my beard and styling options for my hair. The entire staff was professional and friendly.

We had never been to Cumming Barber before so I called the McFarland Road location in advance to make sure they had someone there who was experienced at cutting a bald fade for my son. I was told by the person on the phone that everyone there was capable of doing it. The woman who ended up cutting my sons hair didnt have the slightest clue how to cut a bald fade and absolutely ruined his hair! She could tell we were not happy with the job she was doing and even one of her co-workers could see that she was making some mistakes and he attempted to help her fix it but all he did was make an already bad haircut even worst. What a huge disappointment as this shop seems to have lots of good reviews and it is much closer to our house than the barber he has been going to in Norcross which is almost a 30 minute drive for us. My son is so upset after this bad experience and it will takes weeks for his hair to get back to a point where it can fixed.

Marianne is hands-down the reason I go to this location. Her energy is amazing and the camaraderie of the entire staff here is overall the reason I keep coming back. This is the second location, and my fiancé will call just to see which location Hardy is at for the day! We have driven 2 hours from our former home just so he could come here! They are so friendly and always do such an amazing job! Store is impeccably clean and they always have refreshments waiting for those who want them. On top of all that, the prices cant be beat! (And on a personal note, I love that I can go in with him and its such a classy and nice environment and not feel uncomfortable with vulgar talk like Ive heard at some! I actually look forward to our biweekly visits!)
