I bought a 2003 M5 from John in August of 2017 and everything seemed pretty good at first. After about 3 months i decided to change the oil and I noticed alot of glitter in the oil and I got in touch with John immediately. John agreed with me and told me to get back in touch with him when I found more about the issue. I brought the car to a local mechanic and he pulled the oil pan to find a small curved piece of metal and he diagnosed it as a double failure of the VANOS units totalling at $5000 to fix it. I contacted John and worked out that he would take the car back and he showed up the next day and then we worked out a time that I could come back to get my money back. Since my experience with John was positive I ended up getting another car from his inventory and money back to make sure it was a fair trade. John had my back and treated me awesome! If i want any more BMW id definitely happily go back to John to make sure I was taken care of.EDIT: At first John was communicative and helpful towards me, after some time he asked that I give him time to pay pack several thousand left of the money remaining in the form of a payment plan and I agreed. It has now been over six months and John refuses to communicate with me or pay me back for the car even though I agreed to take far less money than I paid for it. I would be very careful with John and do not expect any further support for your car. I bought his car hoping he would have my back and he did for a while, but now it seems Im forgotten and no longer prioritized.

Avoid this place at all cost. John Borhman talks a big talk but will never follow through. Gave story after story and excuse after excuse. Did work on E92 BMW M3. They ruined the upper intake by throwing it on the floor of the shop. Huge scratches. Then they intake floppy loose, so it had a vacuum leak. They Lost my strut tower braces. My AC blower motor harness was stolen from under my dash while at his shop.Paid another shop 3 hours labor to track down why my ac wasnt working. Turns out the pig tail was cut off the harness while at R&I. Amazing right? My nice leather shift knob and boot swapped out for one with a hole worn in it. The guy has had months to make it right. He never made it a priority. Just broken promises. This guy even needed to borrow: my core engine for a couple days. Later find out he supposedly tried to use it in an insurance scam. To date the Missing parts include but are not limited to: 2012 Bmw M3 cylinder heads, lower intake, throttle bodies, valve covers and more. I later paid another local BMW shop 100s of dollars to fix his sloppy work. Complete joke. No idea how these guys even stay in business. Ask me for the full story. You literally will not believe these clowns. Shady guy running a shady business. 100s of texts and dozens of phone calls and over 6 months later times up.
