Zacks Tree Service took down roughly 10 trees on my property many of which were close, big and threatening the house and some 70-80ft tall with branches over the house and a pond. The snow was roughly a foot and 1/2 deep all over the property at the time.They were here before 7am with a crew of 7 and had everything down safely by 11:30 AM (no clean-up - I have my work ahead of me). They were very professional, experienced, talented and efficient. I was very impressed and they came at a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend Zacks tree service and will use them again on my wooded property.

Zacks Tree Service crew worked above and beyond expectations. They removed several dead ash trees from our property. This included an 80 footer just next to the house. They did a fabulous job carefully taking down that monster. The other trees were 50 - 60 footers also threatening the house. Everything was done in one day. They left me the firewood as requested, and did a great job cleaning up. I Would certainly recommend.

We had three large trees trimmed and elevated in our back yard. The crew was very polite and professional, explaining everything they planned to do. They worked quickly and cleaned up the yard when they were finished. Very happy with the service.

I was told she would come Sunday after 11 a.m. to give me an estimate. I stayed home all day, she never showed up. No phone call to let me know she wasnt coming. I left a message that night asking if they were coming. Still no response. Thats no way to run a business.

Exceptionally reasonable on price but must be prepared for scheduling delays. Zack runs the operation and his wife is who you will most likely schedule the appraisal and service appointment. The only advice I have for the customer and feedback I have for Zack’s Tree Service is with the great value in price, they are going to be overwhelmed with requests. My experience was from the difficult part of scheduling since that they rarely answered the phone, but they did text during evening hours and our best response was through Facebook. Both Zack and his wife did explain that this was due to them being on the job during the day which was a fair reason. We scheduled in late March and the timeline was set for mid to late May, but they did say they were very busy due to their large workload for spring. We never heard back and contacted them again in early June with a 6/18, appointment. I took the day off from work, but they never arrived so we contacted them, and Zack explained it was too rainy for them to operate. Understanding the issue, we rescheduled for 6/29, but they once again were a no show and it was not until we contacted them again to find out they were having equipment issues and Zack was not working that day along with us being told we should have been notified. I cannot speak on the quality of work but based on their reviews and high workload, they must be pretty good. However, I can speak on their customer service since I went from late March to late June planning, scheduling, and patiently waiting for a promised service that was never delivered. This experience was not what I expected and with me being an expecting father any day now, there is no way I can postpone any further. I will most likely have to wait until next year to have the tree and stumps removed. Honestly, this is only one customer experience but taking out the uncontrollable weather or equipment setbacks, the controllable lack of communication was what lost my confidence in Zack’s Tree Service.

At first I was skeptical because of the reviews of this company, Im glad I did not listen. I contacted Elmer and scheduled an estimate for when I came home from work, he arrived promptly and was very nice. We discussed removing several large trees on my property and taking some branches off of another. We agreed on a VERY reasonable rate, and he said he would contact me when they were able to do it. A few weeks went by before I was called but that was fine he told me upfront that they were backed up with work, and I was fine with that. They said they would be here on Monday and they showed up at 7am Monday. They made quick work of the biggest tree and then proceeded to do the rest of the trees. Wow what a sight watching them rope down branches over my shed and not touch anything. They cleaned up all the mess from the branches, and even used the blower to blow all my leaves to the back for me. Dont listen to these negative reviews I will definitely be using them again next year!

Glad we selected this service as they were prompt, courteous and cleaned up nicely. Elmer is a very nice person and us an idea of where to plant the next tree. Would use them again.

Gave good price thats why the 2 stars. But I told Elmer to leave me some logs instead they chipped everything. Then they had to come back and grind stumps. After several calls they finally did, but since I wasnt there when they returned they failed to grind one stump. I made numerous calls to them, always getting voicemail and I still have a stump in my back yard. I will not use them again.

I met Elmer in 2017, got a great quote for tree removal, tree trim and stumps grinded, however the day of appointment they didnt call so I called them thinking they were running late. First they said they were on their way but couldnt give exact time due to traffic. I called back moments later then they said they had a more urgent matter to tend to and would arrive later in the afternoon. Finally i called back and now I was told they had to reschedule. This went on for several days. I ended up using another company that kept their word. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt this year. The quote from Elmers son was a little higher (just for tree stump grinding) but i figured it needed to get done. Guess what....no call, no show. Im done with them....wish they would stop sending me coupons, so not worth the aggravations.

Illegally destroyed out treeNeighbors were taking down a tree using these people and they asked if a branch could be taken out of our tree - they then CUT OFF HALF OUR TREE - taking out a full half of our beautiful twin trunked tree. If you see these people doing any business next door to you stay and watch their every move and make sure they stay off your property. They are criminals.(February 3, 2017)-------------Follow-up:The police had to be called, there will be a police report available soon.Not only did they cut off half of our twin trunk tree but additional branches had also been cut that did not even face the neighbors yard in the slightest, completely illegal and unnecessary. They are trying to claim a tree that the trunk is fully at least 15 FEET onto OUR property somehow interfered. They did not trim branches that hung over the neighboring property, they came 15 feet onto our property to cut off the twin trunk (and the many, many branches above, of which only SOME of them were ones they could legally touch, the bulk of the branches were still FULLY on our property).Then after they did this, a team of over half a dozen men intimidated, bullied and scared a 76 year old sickly man (my father) into signing something that they did not even give a copy or let anyone else see.Elder abuse is positively sickening, and abusing a sick frail one to boot. - And a crime.Like I said - they are criminals.Today they have been cutting other neighbor trees and dropping tree branches on our (rather delicate) lilac bush, I had gone outside to tell my mother (who was making sure they did not cut more things they have no business to cut in the front yard) and the head jerk started to yell at me when I did not even look or talk to him.Again, the police have been called, they came, they are filing a report. I am tired of bullies harming seniors because they think they can. There needs to be criminal charges brought against these people.(February 4, 2017)

After being quoted an amazing price we were so excited to move forward. 7+ weeks later my tree still stands and Ive been rescheduled numerous times for a variety of reasons. When they finally showed up to do the job (I was convinced they werent going to at this point) it was cancelled due to a small pop up shower. I understand the need for safety but the light rain lasted less than 10 minutes. After they left none of my calls have been returned and Ive had to start the process all over again, likely waiting another month to have my tree taken down with another company. A great price means nothing if the work is never done. So very glad this isnt the type of service you pay up front for.

One of my neighbors hired them.. they parked across the street and blocked part of our driveway. Completely unprofessional.

Pathetic company ! Tried to get an estimate in February. They called and rescheduled and then never showed up! FINALLY got them to come out and they gave an estimate. Told me first week of April they would call to come out and remove the tree. No call! I called multiple times over the months and FINALLY got through to them in June! Scheduled for Today, June 22nd at 7am to remove the tree. Well guess what....NO SHOW!!! No calls, nothing! Stay as far away from this place as possible!! Wish I could give 0 stars!

If i could use negative stars i would. Very unreliable company. I had to called them 3 days in a row to even get them to come out for an estimate, when they dis come out they never even bother to call. I called them on monday and they scheduled me to get my tree trimmed for today 9/28 and they never showed up or called to say they werent coming. Dont recommend this place to anyone!
