I signed a contract with Belles in July to trim back 2 problem trees. It is now October and they never came, do not answer the phone orcall back.

Although we had to wait a bit before Belles could get to us, the work far exceeded our expectations and I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone. We are very, very pleased with the results!

While our tree service was supposed to be done before the end of June, that didnt happen and attempts to contact Belles by email and phone have gone unanswered.

Cannot say enough good things about the work Belles Tree Service does! We had 2 large (75 ft.) dead oaks, 1 large (75 ft.) dead ash, 3 privacy spruce trees that were growing around our power lines, and 2 smaller trees. Being that they are certified arborists, they gave me several options on how to address our issues with the trees (in lieu of completely removing) from a safety, privacy, life of the tree, and budget standpoint which I found to be extremely insightful! We ultimately decided to remove them and we are thrilled with our choice! They showed up when expected, and completed the job in the estimated time frame they gave us (almost down to the minute!) They were extremely precise and cautious with maneuvering trucks and cranes around our property with low lying power lines, thoroughly cleaned up the yard, used the stump-grinder and graded the yard back to its original state, and even happily moved tree logs into the back of the yard so we could cut them for firewood. Their team is effective, professional, and work cohesively- you can tell they truly enjoy and are passionate about what they do! I called Belles Tree to have him assess the health of a few trees on our property. He informed me that these trees were diseased and posed a bigger risk of coming down on our house and garage than I anticipated. We decided to remove the trees that were too far gone and to trim back the remaining trees. These guys are a master of their craft- very careful with navigating our small yard and quickly completed their job. Best decision I ever made calling them.

Called for an estimate on some arborvitae that needed to be tied up in a few areas and trimmed everywhere. I received the estimate on a timely manner however, not everything was addressed. I sent an email asking my questions on clarification of the estimate. When email was returned over a week later, question still wasn’t answered. I called and spoke to the owner who was not only rude on the phone but question was answered with no sense, even to this non expert of a possible customer. Question was, “ Why wouldn’t you trim all the arborvitae ?” Seemed like a logical question? Answer - Others don’t really need it. Seems like a strange answer when he was going to take back 3 feet of one side and not the other two.When a customer is asking any question, the owner or employee should be respectful no matter the answer. And definitely don’t bother giving an estimate if you’re just too busy to take the job or just don’t need the work. Quite honestly my time was wasted by calling you twice and by the two emails sent. Thanks for nothing.

We have used Belles Tree Service for over 25 years, not only for our personal home but for our construction sites and developments as well. We always found them reliable, upfront and fair with the cost of the jobs. The company has all the necessary equipment and trucks whether it was for smaller jobs or handling the demolition of huge trees and grinders to clean up the debris. The owner always came out to each job site and gave his insight on which trees could be saved and which ones had to be removed. I have to deal with other tree companies in Florida—who promise the world and never show up or their bucket trucks aren’t tall enough to trim some of our palm trees. Belles Services would put them all out of business. When you find a company that can handle the jobs like Belles Tree Services—it’s a blessing these days!!!

TREE REMOVAL SERVICESCraig the owner personally came and walked my property with me. I was looking for a quote to have 7 large trees taken down proactively, pre-winter snow, due to beetle damage and root rot. I received my quote within a few days and was very happy with the price. I had quotes from other companies and Belles was definitely the best value.He was able to do the work within a week. He and his crew showed up exactly when they said they would. I was SUPER IMPRESSED with the crew and the amount of serious equipment they owned. (Large boom and articulated bucket trucks, backhoes, bobcat/skid-steers, crane, large chippers(chipped an entire tree) and several other trucks and trailers) the men were respectful, professional, well trained and also personable. They handled traffic control and completed the job in less than a single day!! All men were employees of Belles, too; no 3rd party contractors. Belles just removed a large diseased tree from my property. They came when promised, charged what was quoted, did a professional job, were polite, and cleaned up thoroughly. If I could give this place a zero star that would be still to high. Called for an estimate and they came out. Owner said we would have an estimate by end of week . two weeks passed so I called and left a message. Days later they called back and said they would have it by the end of that week. If I could leave a zero, I would. I guess I do not know how they are at cutting down trees, but I would not trust they are any better at that. They are totally unprofessional when it comes to customer service!! My neighbor had their trees trimmed two weeks ago, July 5th 2019. In the process, they knocked over my cemented in mailbox, the Morning Call box, and a planter. Basically took out our entire mailbox area. After reporting the damage to their main office that day, they took down the message and explained someone would call me back. No one ever did. I called two more times the following week to check in and it went straight to their voicemail. I then tried calling from my work number a minute later in case they were screening my number, and just so happens they were. The secretary picked right up with the different number. INTERESTING. So I explained again and she stated she passed the message along to Craig, the owner. I asked for his direct number. Gave him a call a minute later and I have to say he was one of the rudest people I ever spoke to. He jumped right in and stated Yes I spoke to my son about it and he said nothing was damaged and he was able to fix it. That is where I explained well, it is not fixed at all and there were other things hit there too. Also there was not a note left stating that they hit our property with their truck and they tried to fix it. I asked if he wanted me to email him pictures, he said rudely said no he doesn’t need them. He said “I have been in this business for 20 years and I know what actual damage looks like. It is not like someone was shot or stabbed, so I am sure its minimal.” He was so condescending. He said he would come out to look at it and I asked if he would let me know when so I could be there and we could figure this out. I have yet to hear from him…surprise surprise. And they are also still screening my calls. Guess I will go to the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint and get my lawyer involved….

I had a tree that split into 3 sections and didnt know what else to do, so we called Belles Tree Service, it happened during the holiday weekend, they called us back the very next day, they showed up on Tuesday for the estimate came back on Wednesday for the job, they showed up on time, they were courteous, they were polite, they were well-trained, they did absolutely no damage to any part of my property at all, theyre clean up was excellent, Not only was I thrilled with their service but I have gone on Facebook and told everybody I know to use Belles Tree Service. Belles Tree Service removed a huge 100 year old Sycamore tree from my curb this morning. I am so pleased. They arrived on time, had the right equipment for this difficult job, professional employees, and after grinding the stump, filled the hole and cleaned up. I talked to a few other tree services but chose Belles because Craig explained the process to me, and itemized the work to be done in the contract. Belles Tree Service has been maintaining the health of the trees on our property for five years now resulting in healthy and great looking trees.

Craig and his team always go above and beyond. They have the expertise to take care of any tree issue you have and they will leave your property in pristine condition. This year they noticed that we had a huge hornets nest attached to our home. One of the men got up on a ladder and sprayed it to death. When Ehrlich came out the next day in a hazmat outfit, they couldnt believe Craigs man had done that for me. There were only a few wasps left and it made his job of removing the best very easy!

I would have rated a 5 star because they have done such a great job. However, one employee was very unprofessional cursing and flipping out in my yard because the grinder stalled out. IF my grandkids would have been around, he would have seen a different side of me. The other employee apologized for his colleagues behavior. Honestly, that employee that was cursing should have been the one apologizing!!!Aside of that episode, they did a great job, very quick and cleaned up everything. I would recommend Belles for sure.

The Belles team did a good job. We had five large trees trimmed on the property. Belles was quick and efficient in getting the job done. There was some damage caused to a lamp post in the front yard, which the company fixed after being alerted to the problem.

They came on my property with out my permission and cut down my tree that a next door neighbor claimed was hers even though they had to go on my property. They never checked with me about the tree even though my property was attached to the tree. They do not do their homework, They are just took the money and ran not caring about anybodys property. Horrible! Absolutely horrible! I contacted this company about a medium size tree in my front lawn in February 2018. Craig came out and gave us a proposal on February 22nd, 2018. I had a few other people come out as well and the price was right so I emailed them saying I would like to continue with the service. They emailed back right away saying they would contact me 2 days before coming to my home. I waited a week and called again and they said with the recent storm they would contact me within the week or beginning of the following week. I didn’t hear a peep. So at the end of the week of second week of waiting for them to call I didn’t hear anything. Three days ago I called again and said I’ve been waiting a month to find out when they were planning on coming out. The girl was nice on the phone and said Craig would get back to me as soon as he could. As the day goes on he calls me and says they would be out this week. I simply asked if he knew when because of my work schedule. He got very snippy and nasty on the phone and said he secretary would call me with the dates and we could go from there. I hung up and waited. Yesterday while I was at work my husband calls me from home saying they were there cutting down our tree! I rush home from work because now I didn’t know or agree to them coming when I wasn’t home! By the time I got there the tree was gone and the HUGE MESS that was left behind. There was so much sawdust and wood chips on my other car, the wood chips were at the corners of my garage, all over my patio, the list just keeps on going. (I have the pictures) Very upset I called the company and asked for someone to come back to my house or a call back right away. No one could do that. I waited hours to hear back from Craig. Nothing. About 4 hours later he sends me an invoice for the service his company provided. I called again to ask about this because the terms of the agreement in the proposal as “clean up” and I had this huge mess. Everyone went home for the day(I called at 3:45pm). Even more upset he finally calls me at about 5:30-6pm very rude saying what did I want done about it. I was as nice as I could be saying he could come out and see the work his men left at my home. He hangs up on me. He came out this morning and was the RUDEST person I’ve ever encountered. He actually started yelling at me in my driveway. He was making up excuses on why he didn’t call me and why his son wasn’t here to supervise (he had a very important class. I’m a hard working mother and wife with a career no excuse) I stated that the excuses he was providing wasn’t good enough and I’m very upset. He actually started walking away and was about to leave. He said the money I was paying was cheap and I had to deal with the mess!! After telling him to cool his tude to me and clean it up he started to. He asked to move my car away so he can clean it better. I got my husband to get the keys to move it then his attitude changed to me. He was starting to be nice for the first time. After he was all done I said “I know you need to leave a pile here but the rest of this is what really upsetted me” he goes “yeah well it’s cleaned up”. he asked for his sign back and then mumbled something under his breath then with the worst attitude he goes “You got a check for me?!” I said I would mail him one and never do business with him again.After this was posted I received a call from the owner saying I needed to take this down because he works hard for this reputation. I stated that I would discuss this with my husband and if we agreed on it we would take it down but at the end of the day as long as I wrote the check to him and mailed it to him by the date on the invoice. He kept saying that he needed me to take it down cause he came out on his lunch break to “clean up” the mess his men left. I said again I would discuss with my husband and he would be paid no matter what. He stated very nasty “I WILL HANDLE THIS ON MY OWN!” And then hung up on me. I will never recommend this company to anyone for the way the owner acted.

What a disappointment. I hired Craig Belles two years ago to do some tree removal as well as tree trimming. He was prompt on the day of quoting, quoted on the spot, and I hired him on the spot. His team came out a few weeks later and performed one of the most professional and clean jobs I have ever seen ANY contractor do. I filed his name and number away for next time. Fast forward to July 2021. I reached out to Craig and he sent his estimator out the following day. His estimator seemed new at the time. It took 6 days to receive the quote. I approved the quote that day at 7/21/21 - 6 weeks later on 8/31/21 I had to follow up to see if the job had been scheduled. I was told it should be scheduled that week. on 9/17/21 I followed up again after not hearing anything and was told it was scheduled for 9/21/21. 9/21/21 came and went and they did not show. I called to follow up and was told they had a mechanical breakdown and that they would get the job done in the next two weeks. Exactly two weeks later I received a call saying they would be out the next day. I sent them a message that evening that I had marked the septic system so they did not damage it and to stack the wood the same place as last time. They arrived early in the morning and I received a call from the estimator who looked at the job asking which trees it was they were to take down. After uneasily confirming the trees remotely I received a call back 5 minutes later saying there was no way they could stack the wood the same place as last time because they didnt have the equipment this time. I was frustrated and told them to cancel. I called the owner Craig and after a few minutes of discussion with him I agreed to let them do the job without stacking the wood for the price quoted. In the meantime though they had packed up and left. I will not be using Belles Tree Service in the future and I suggest you digest this and all the other recent reviews of lack of communication and excessive wait times before you hire them as well. Sorry Belles, this was a horrible experience.
