They explained their services, what they could offer, the price, and arranged an immediate appointment. Our serviceman Zack did an excellent job, quickly and efficiently. Arrived in assigned time window and conduct removal of yellow jacket next. A inspection found additional active nest not easy to see and immediately took care of them. Final part of service was the spraying of the perimeter which was done as described. The agent also conducted a close out and verification of any other service request. I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to report that since Dirks Pest Management was merged with Viking, customer focus has disappeared. I am ending my multiple year business relationship now that Viking has proven several times that communication is a one way street. Viking dictates to me last minute when they will provide my tenants with service and when I am unable to provide those tenants notice or be present myself I will be billed for the useless service call. There must be better companies out there. My patience has run out on this tone deaf business.

Professional exterminator team who are personable and easy to work with. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because their availability hasn’t been great; I had to book 2 weeks out for them to come treat an underground bees nest. Otherwise everything else has been great!

This was the only compapny that came the day of my yellow jacket invasion- they were already in the house! Although a larger ladder was needed, Tammy proceeded to apppy chemicals as best she could.True to their word, Matt returned to complete more applications to my roof. My quesstions were answered and I have been assured the technitions will return if needed. It appears my yellow jacket issue seems resolved!

I had a massive yellowjacket-hive that collapsed the ceiling of my dining room by eating away at my ceiling drywall. Called Viking and the technician said he had never seen anything this massive in his life. Nevertheless, he suited up and had the entire 5x3x2 monstrosity removed and and treated within an hour. A hell of a job, but done well, and we can sleep soundly at night now. Called other Exterminators before calling Viking and they wouldnt even take the job! Definitely will be using Viking if ever a need arises again!!!

They arrived at my property at the appointment time, tech called ahead to make sure I was home. I called one day and they scheduled my treatment for Carpenter Ants the next day. Tech was polite and professional, and told me where he was going in the home next.

Marcus was very professional, knowledgeable and kind. He searched my attic and office where the wasps were coming out of my ceiling fan and serviced this area plus the outside where I noticed them coming in. Hopefully this relieves me of this scary situation. I would refer Viking to my family and friends.

Be ready to wait on hold for quite awhile before talking to a customer service representative. All if the representatives that Ive talked to have been very polite and helpful. However, their services leave some to be desired. Expect no same day service and a 5 hour appointment window. Also, do expect any natural ways to remove the pests; their answer to everything is to spray with insecticide.

My technician Matt was very knowledgeable, experienced, professional, and extremely nice. He explained everything he was going to do and even gave me advice. I have a contract with them for normal pest control and they were just at my residence a few weeks ago and now after some heavy rains I have ants in the house. I emailed them and over night got a response from them with an appointment window for a day later at a very convenient time frame. Great customer service.

Called and came out the same day which I thought was great but ended up a very poor service the tech that came to my house was only there for about 5 minutes sprayed the top of a small pile of leaves that yellow jacket bees were living in will I dont under stand why the tech would I not of took the leaves and spreader them out to expose the nest and then spray I waited 3 days like the tech told us and I still have the same problem we went to clean up the leaves and we are still loaded with bees 5 minutes and charged me 316.00 dollars and never accomplished anything I try to call but they were close may be a good company but a very poor technician and quality of work your company is only as good has your technicians you put out on the job it is situation I reach you at less than a 1 * you think he would have made sure the problem was solved before he left since I was using you to let my dog out into the yard and the bees were causing a problem I did not want my Bulldog to get stung by bees so I was willing to pay the price of $300 for you to clean up the bees so I could leave Mike dog out poor quality service

My appointment time was scheduled 8 to 12 they did come at 7o’clock and sprayed the house but I needed 2 bees nest taken care of. when I called to have them come back they were very nice and came right back out so they could spray the two bees nest . We had a bad tick issue last year (2020). After our first application we noticed a dramatic difference. Each month that Viking returned, less ticks were seen until there were none. Our mosquito control was also better than ever before. Each employee has been super nice and friendly as well as knowledgeable.

Very unhappy with Viking service of stink bugs. Recent spray was inadequate and stink bug infestation continues. Not sufficient spray done on outside of the house. Want another spray done ASAP in keeping with Viking’s Policy of returning feee of charge if not completely satisfied. I plan to cancel my service if this is not done.

Viking is the best. We chose them because they offer a service that is all-inclusive and not priced per-visit. So if a single treatment for mosquitoes or something happens to be less effective, you can have them back to re-address the issue at no additional cost. As far as service, I suspect all their techs are excellent but its hard to describe how good the guy that came out to us is, name is Nick. This dude is tremendous. Beyond expert-level knowledge, professional, punctual, informative. He even assured us, upon our request that the cool wild rabbits we enjoy as neighbors would not be harmed. Amazing service at a competitive price, working with Viking feels like youve got a partner with you rather than a vendor.

Viking addressed my concerns right away. And Xavier was amazing! I’m not so bothered by ants, bees or even mice living in an old house. But after waking up to baby moth worms crawling in my bed I was a mess! Xavier was calm and supportive and confidently explained what he saw and what we needed to do. Naviyah (and coworker) came out on 8/17/21 in the morning to our house to address some recent yard damage. Naviyah seemed confident that the cause of the damage is an increased mole population. She recommended relocation of our current bait boxes and to buy an additional one. We were very concerned about the quick yard damage that was occurring and very grateful for a definitive answer. She did a great job. Her coworker was more uncertain about with the cause and I think was in training (?).

Our Quarterly maintenance visit with Dirks/Viking went very smoothly. No problems or issues. Technician who performed the service was quick and efficient

They were supposed to come out between 10Am and 2pm. I called shortly after 2 to see if they were coming out. They said the tech was running behind. I requested to cancel and he assured me it would be cancelled. 5 pm i get a text notification they were on their way. 530 pm they finally show up 3.5 hours after their original window when I had cancelled. I was not happy. Maybe other customers are okay with countless hours of their lives wasted. I do not. And it was a subcontractor that showed up not Viking.

We have been a Viking Pest Control customer for years. Pests are not easy to be rid of and Viking will do everything they can to make sure those pests are gone. Not only do they do excellent work but they are always professional, pleasant and easy to work with.I called this morning for a Wasp/Hornet issue and Bella, who was amazing, was able to get us an appointment the next day.

We live in the woods. Viking keeps the pests out of our yard and house without harming our pets. They have been quick to respond to our needs. I would recommend them.

He was able to explain how the treatments work and gives us insight of how early pest control is way to go. He retouched some carpenter bees holes to hopefully help eliminate our bee issues quicker. Been using Viking Pest for a couple of years now and have been very happy with their mosquito control and interior pest control services. They show up on time and perform the service without incident. Nick is our service tech and hes like a ninja...comes and goes and we dont even know hes here, except for the lack of bugs!!!

I was with Dirks up until they were bought by Viking. I swear they send a guy to basically walk around my house and do nothing. I have had 3 instances were they will not come in the house. I have had little moths for months and they tell me they treat and it’s pantry moths. Heads up, I keep EVERYTHING in Tupperware or tins. I worked in food service for 15 years. I am state certified to run a food service establishment. My kitchen and pantry are immaculate. They done solve problems and don’t do their job. Any praise for them I see is just an issue being cleared up itself and they happened to be there. This company is a sham.

Viking took my money for 5 months of yard spraying and then I had nothing but issues with service. They bought out the fantastic Dirks Pest Control & now do nothing right. The first time we barely knew they were here, we have an odd shaped lot & didn’t know what they sprayed. The second time we didn’t know when they’d be out. I called & they said it was up to me to schedule. Seriously. The third & fourth time a supervisor called 2 weeks ahead b/c I freaked. Final time was due Thursday, Sept 9. They Emailed & said unforeseen circumstances prevented them from spraying & they’d call to reschedule. No call!. I called Fri & they’d rescheduled for almost 3 weeks out. It’s supposed to be every 4 weeks, not 7. The CSR just happened to have a slot for Mon the 13th. I sent THREE emails…..no response til I posted on their FB page. I realize with the floods & staffing issues that things are backed up. BUT…..Management then called & offered me addl services. Please reconsider if you’re thinking of using them. The service was expensive & they couldn’t manage a once a month spraying. Their techs & CSRs were very nice, management needs serious overhauling.

We have used Viking for three years. Some techs are good, some not so much. We have a service contract, so we get unlimited visits. If you get a not so good one, just call, they come right back out. No problem.

First appointments went well except they where all supposed to be completed in one day which then turned into three. Now I’ve sent two messages online and called twice. No response to the current issue that was treated and a new one that needs attention right away. All I would like is a response since we are now at the 72 hour mark.
